On the Harbinger<\/em>, Megatronus watched Starscream bicker with another veteran, Soundwave. Soundwave had a red visor over his optics, a helmet looking like a snapback hat put on backwards, and a big six barreled rotating gun on his right shoulder. He sounded like the 90\u2019s Kid from Atop the Fourth Wall<\/em>. \u201cDude, I\u2019m telling you, the readings just seem weird!\u201d he yelled at Starscream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYour equipment is faulty!\u201d declared Starscream in his Spoony voice. \u201cEnergon does not grow that fast!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI triple checked every bit of circuitry and code!\u201d snapped Soundwave. \u201cEarth\u2019s Energon reserves have gone from too little to too much!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s impossible!\u201d shrieked Starscream. \u201cWhat could make it grow that fast?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know, but I won\u2019t know until we get there,\u201d replied Soundwave. \u201cIn any case, Knock-out wants to see the second of the Pax kids.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAh, yes,\u201d remarked Starscream, \u201cthe silver, stuttering simpleton. I recall that he used that fist laser on me when my back was turned and blew up an Energon mine Jhiaxus had ordered to be used. Open his cell. He can\u2019t do much in those stasis cuffs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo!\u201d whimpered Megatronus. \u201cNo, you can\u2019t!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCan and will, little dude,\u201d snickered Soundwave. He opened the cell and Starscream grabbed Megatronus\u2019 head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe doctor will see you now,\u201d he chuckled as he dragged Megatronus to the medical facility. Megatronus screamed in terror until he entered the room where three Decepticons stood. Soundwave closed the door and Starscream dumped Megatronus on the doctor\u2019s table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cKeys,\u201d ordered one of the mechs, a red one with long slender fingers, headlights on the chest, and driving wheels on the back and a wheel on each foot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSorry?\u201d asked Starscream, taken aback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDoctor\u2019s orders,\u201d replied the red mech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cKnock-out, you can\u2019t be serious,\u201d protested Starscream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGive Knock-out the keys or I start causing damage to your armor!\u201d snarled Megatronus. Starscream noticed the sudden change in his voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShouldn\u2019t you be stuttering?\u201d he asked. Megatronus rolled his optics and snapped the stasis cuffs. It startled Starscream and made him gasp in terror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen I give a command,\u201d snarled Megatronus, \u201cI expect it to be obeyed!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe IS our new Lord,\u201d remarked a blue robot built like Starscream, sounding like Linkara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis fool?\u201d snapped Starscream. \u201cThundercracker, you can\u2019t be serious!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will thank you to keep that to yourself,\u201d hissed Megatronus as the tube around his arm split in half and put itself on the top of his lower arm. He leveled the new arm mounted fusion cannon at Starscream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAlthough, in light of this situation,\u201d said Starscream quickly, \u201cwe do need a strong, alert leader to refuel our campaign against the Autobots!\u201d Megatronus lowered his arm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAn intelligent idea,\u201d he hissed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow, my liege,\u201d interjected Knock-out, \u201cabout that armor mishap of yours, I don\u2019t understand how this could have happened.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd yet,\u201d snarled Megatronus, \u201cit DID! Can you imagine the setback? There I was, breaking the Seekers over there out of the Stockade with an EMP bomb, when the energy shorted out my armor\u2019s systems! I only just escaped with my internal workings intact! Clearly the shielding was faultier than you realized, doctor!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEr\u2026well,\u201d stammered Knock-out, \u201con the bright side, this provides an excellent opportunity for a total armor overhaul!\u201d A display screen flashed on, showing different Cybertronian armor. \u201cNow let\u2019s see, you could go with Cyclatron\u2019s Model Px-15. It\u2019s reliable, low maintenance, although it lacks a certain flair. Personally, I prefer Miss Silver Wing\u2019s RK-5. It has just the right mix of strength and style!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYeah,\u201d replied a third bot looking like a black and purple Starscream, sounding like the Nostalgia Critic, \u201ccorrect me if I\u2019m wrong, but doesn\u2019t a total armor overhaul require scanning a new vehicle mode?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSkywarp\u2019s right,\u201d confirmed Starscream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNever thought I\u2019d hear you say that,\u201d chuckled Thundercracker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA small price to pay,\u201d assured Knock-out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI DON\u2019T WANT A NEW MODEL OF ARMOR!\u201d roared Megatronus. \u201cI want the same armor I had before!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy Lord, I\u2019m going to be brutally honest here,\u201d commented Thundercracker, \u201cyour equipment is obsolete! I doubt Knock-out has any of it lying around. That fusion cannon is a fuel gobbler. I doubt your current vehicle mode is being built anymore. What do you transform into?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA Honda 2016 Acura NSX,\u201d replied Megatronus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThundercracker\u2019s right,\u201d sighed Knock-out, \u201cI doubt those lovely vehicles are being made any more. I doubt Honda is even in business. It\u2019s 4016 by the Earth calendar. If you really are that attached to your vehicle mode sir, we could try to salvage the armor\u2019s code. You kept the core code, didn\u2019t you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was\u2026beyond recovery,\u201d replied Megatronus. He then changed gears. \u201cVery well, while I choose new armor, the Seekers shall assist Soundwave in quadruple checking the Energon counters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, sir!\u201d confirmed Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, and Soundwave. They left the medical wing while Knock-out gave his new Lord a catalog of armor to look over.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
