It was currently impossible for Jazz to convert to vehicle mode on his own, so he had to get someone to transform him. The process wasn\u2019t very comfortable for Jazz as Ratchet had to release certain armor latches and move other parts with some force. Once back in vehicle mode, Jazz began internal repairs and slowly activated his holo-form. \u201cPrimus, that was awful!\u201d he groaned. \u201cThank you anyways.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJust doing my job,\u201d replied Ratchet. \u201cHow are internal repairs?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGoing a bit slow,\u201d reported Jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was mine,\u201d replied Jazz. \u201cHe was stupid enough to give it to me so I could prove it was Cybertronian tech and not a magic metal from otherworldly origins.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWow!\u201d sighed Sonic. \u201cThat\u2019s some stupidity right there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFighting Aaron right now,\u201d revealed Bumblebee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAdaptive biology boosted with magic always helps,\u201d chuckled Amy weakly. \u201cWait, where\u2019s Shadow?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFighting Aaron, I assume,\u201d answered Trema\u2019s voice. Trema was getting up. \u201cHe\u2019ll have an advantage.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cForgive me if I disagree!\u201d cried Amy as she tried to get up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAmy, easy!\u201d insisted Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSonic\u2019s right,\u201d supplied Ratchet, \u201cyou need rest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen Shadow\u2019s about to die? Not likely!\u201d argued Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEVERY time,\u201d revealed Amy, \u201cbar my training with my teachers, literally EVERY time!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Shadow and Aaron continue trading blows. \u201cCome on!\u201d taunted Shadow. \u201cIs that the best you\u2019ve got?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cConsidering you\u2019ve been holding back,\u201d replied Aaron, \u201cwhy should I go all out?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat do you mean?\u201d asked Shadow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet\u2019s be honest,\u201d sighed Aaron, \u201cneither of us are at full power. You\u2019ve been holding back because of something actively restraining you. The thing is you can take off the restraints at any time!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t see how it concerns you holding back,\u201d answered Shadow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAre you sure?\u201d asked Aaron. \u201cDon\u2019t you want to defeat me at my full potential?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019ve been holding back this entire time?!\u201d yelped Jazz<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOkay, yes!\u201d confirmed Optimus. \u201cI\u2019ve actually learned how to tap into Chaos energy a while ago, before Shockwave appeared. But Shadow doesn\u2019t know that! If he did\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019d be mad at you?!\u201d guessed Amy. \u201cListen, I like the guy, but his default emotion is mad!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s more than anger, it\u2019s pride!\u201d insisted Optimus. \u201cIt would shatter him if there was a robot stronger than him!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFueling a person\u2019s ego is unbecoming of a warrior!\u201d roared Trema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDude, what in the Pit!\u201d protested Jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSir, there is another option!\u201d interjected Prowl. \u201cWasn\u2019t your trailer made from a spare battle-frame?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not perfected!\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cThere\u2019s a problem with it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think that problem is negligible!\u201d insisted Prowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That way, if, by some miracle, you beat me, you\u2019ll have the satisfaction of taking down the most powerful opponent without any help.\u201d Shadow\u2019s ear twitched. He seemed to be deep in thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou know,\u201d he rasped, \u201cthe thing is, I know you\u2019re stoking my ego\u2026\u201d his hand then went to his wrist ring! \u201c\u2026but you\u2019re right!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOptimus, you need to do something before Shadow does something completely reckless!\u201d urged Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere\u2019s literally nothing he can do to make this situation any worse than it is,\u201d replied Optimus, \u201cbar blowing up the city.\u201d They were all watching Shadow at that point and saw him removing his rings! \u201c\u2026He is going to blow up the city!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut I live here!\u201d yelped Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s it!\u201d encouraged Aaron, feeling the power rising in Shadow. \u201cKeep it coming!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSHADOW! HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!\u201d shouted Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSHADOW!\u201d called Optimus. \u201cYOUR PRIDE ISN\u2019T WORTH LEVELING THE CITY! COME ON!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWay past the bargaining stage!\u201d yelped Prowl. Shadow then started glowing red and his eyes turned completely white.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCHAOS\u2026BLAST!\u201d he roared. A dome of red light soon engulfed the city. The Autobots and allies hit the deck. The light remained for a while, then it faded slowly. \u201cPowerful enough for you?\u201d snarked Shadow. \u201cHope you\u2019re proud.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, Shadow,\u201d replied Aaron\u2019s voice, startling the hedgehog, \u201cI AM proud. Not of the damage, no, but of you! You are one of the few people to stick to your guts and throw everything away to satisfy your frankly fragile ego. For that, I tip my hat to you. But, I believe we\u2019re done.\u201d He fished out the yellow Chaos Emerald. \u201cChaos Control.\u201d He then disappeared from his position in the sky and reappeared behind Shadow, delivering a kick to his spine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPrime, you\u2019re out of options!\u201d called Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe don\u2019t know that!\u201d insisted Optimus. \u201cWe still have the emeralds to whip up\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Chaos Emeralds aren\u2019t Dragonballs!\u201d snapped Jazz. \u201cBesides, we don\u2019t have all seven!\u201d Optimus sighed. He really didn\u2019t have any options. He transformed and charged at Aaron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBattle frame: Online!\u201d he ordered. \u201cOptimus Prime: Super Mode!\u201d The trailer started folding and twisting until it changed into a set of limbs held by an empty box with an armored chest unit. Optimus\u2019 legs folded into the vehicle mode rear and his arms folded backwards. He flew into the box holding the limbs and the chest armor folded down. A helmet like his own came down over his head. Connections hidden in Optimus\u2019 body attached to the ones in the battle frame. The limbs then moved at Optimus\u2019 command. Optimus grabbed Aaron and threw him away from Shadow while Shadow was tossed to Ratchet. Aaron soon picked himself up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat fool stopped my righteous attack?!\u201d he snarled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere is nothing righteous about killing anyone, even in war!\u201d Optimus snarled right back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019ve clearly never been in one,\u201d observed Aaron as he charged at Optimus. Optimus twisted around to let Aaron\u2019s punch go wild. Aaron twisted and managed to land a hit and, oddly enough, not receive any damage on his end. Optimus then swatted him into a building. The dust settled for a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat might not have done much damage, but, by PRIMUS, that felt good!\u201d sighed Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh HO!\u201d laughed Aaron as he crawled out of the rubble. \u201cIs that a smidgen of pride I sense? Guess your creators wanted you to imitate life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCreator, actually,\u201d corrected Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMaster Trema, what\u2019s with Optimus?\u201d asked Amy. \u201cHe\u2019s much more powerful than Aaron now! Where\u2019s that confidence he\u2019s famous for?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think I see why he was so hesitant,\u201d realized Trema. \u201cThat confidence went out the window when his speed decreased.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t understand,\u201d said Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn raw power,\u201d explained Trema, \u201cPrime can\u2019t be beat right now. However, his current form has increased his mass to a level he\u2019s not used to. His body cannot compensate right now. So, while we\u2019re seeing a definite increase in strength, we\u2019re also seeing a definite decrease in speed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn other words,\u201d gasped Amy as the reality of the situation hits her, \u201cPrime can\u2019t hit Aaron and he\u2019s taunting Optimus with the few free hits Prime landed on him!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDamn it!\u201d snarled Prowl. \u201cI feel so helpless! We need to do something!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLike what?\u201d asked Trema. \u201cGet ragdolled? No thank you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOf course, a Nebulan would say that!\u201d hissed Prowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTo be fair,\u201d mused Ironhide, \u201cbetween the Super Prime and the Psycho Wizard\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t you start!\u201d protested Prowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey, you may have forgotten,\u201d snarled Ironhide, \u201cbut I was on Femax, okay?! Those Amazons almost killed both sides! I got stabbed! And blown up!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, here\u2019s the deal. I want you to hit me with your most powerful fireball.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIs that so?\u201d quizzed Aaron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou may have misheard me,\u201d remarked Optimus. \u201cI don\u2019t mean some arbitrary percentage, nor fifty percent. I want YOU to hit ME with your MOST powerful fireball.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSuppose I don\u2019t play along?\u201d asked Aaron, a little irked at the smarminess dripping from Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThen I guess your wife won\u2019t want to see you,\u201d taunted Optimus. Aaron twitched. \u201cOooh, consider that nerve touched,\u201d smirked Optimus. \u201cCome on. You, me, most powerful fireball. Clear?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCrystal!\u201d growled Aaron. Aaron then started hovering in the air. He then formed a red sphere of light in his hands, then thrust them into the air. The sky, the buildings, the streets, the people, EVERYTHING turned a nasty shade of red. The atmosphere of Station Square was saturated with Aaron\u2019s anger towards Optimus. Through it all, the youngest Prime still had that annoying grin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat\u2019s it!\u201d called Optimus. \u201cKeep it coming! I can actually feel it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIN MERE SECONDS,\u201d roared Aaron, \u201cALL YOU WILL FEEL IS FIERY OBLIVION, YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF MOLTEN SLAG!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOblivion, or disappointment?\u201d asked Optimus. \u201cGo ahead, flip that coin.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAS YOU WISH!\u201d shouted Aaron \u201cIGNIS GIGAS!\u201d The fireball was massive as it hurtled towards Optimus at incredible speed. Optimus simply held his hand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCorpus Pondus in Igne,\u201d he said. The fireball then got smaller as the flames travelled safely into his hand. Soon, there was no fireball at all. Aaron stared in disbelief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cImpossible!\u201d he breathed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAfraid not,\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cMy people CAN use magic. I\u2019m a wizard of your very Order. I\u2019m sure you\u2019re familiar with an absorption spell. Absorbing water spells make the absorber swim faster, air spells improve flight, earth spells allow you to feel your opponent\u2019s movements in the ground, fire\u2026well, I\u2019m sure you figured out my current form\u2019s speed deficiency, until I absorbed your most powerful fireball. The thing is, that spell was hard for me to master, until today.\u201d Aaron just roared and launched multiple fireballs. Optimus just kept absorbing the fireballs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWHY WON\u2019T YOU DIE?!\u201d roared Aaron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDude, throwing fireball after fireball at me, even after I showed I can absorb them, is a sign of insanity,\u201d sighed Prime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYOU KNOW WHAT!\u201d screamed Aaron. \u201cTIME TO STAIN THIS CITY WITH BLOOD!
