He entered the conference room with all bots on deck, Jhiaxus included. \u201cBots,\u201d Optimus began, \u201cI know it\u2019s been a slightly casual command style I tried to maintain, but the Decepticons aren\u2019t going to give us that luxury. We need to strike with all available discipline. Therefore, the chain of command is as follows: Private: First Class Cliffjumper reports to Corporal Bumblebee, who reports to Master Sergeant Ironhide, who reports to Warrant Officer Perceptor, who reports to Chief Warrant Officer 3 and Chief Medical Officer Ratchet, who reports to Chief Warrant Officer 5 Megatronus, who reports to Second Lieutenant Prowl, who reports to First Lieutenant Jazz, who reports to General of the Army Ultra Magnus, who reports to me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat about Jhiaxus?\u201d asked Cliffjumper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019ll be returning to Cybertron,\u201d replied Optimus, \u201cto investigate the currently tense situation within the rest of the Decepticons.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s not helping us?\u201d protested Jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He then took the floor as Starscream\u2019s hologram came up. \u201cStarscream, leader of the 1st<\/sup> Seeker Trine. Evidently, he answers to a new master, one that stole Jhiaxus\u2019 Decepticon symbol.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe one made of Dark Energon crystal?\u201d quizzed Ratchet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cthe very same,\u201d confirmed Ultra Magnus. \u201cthe Decepticons\u2019 answer to de Matrix.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSo he took over as the new Decepticon Leader, as he always wanted!\u201d guessed Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNo,\u201d replied Ultra Magnus. \u201cSomeone else has it, someone we don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGreat,\u201d sighed Jazz, \u201cso this person may be on Cybertron!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cVery likely,\u201d remarked Ultra Magnus, \u201cbut getting the Harbinger<\/em>\u2019s crew behind bars will demoralize the rest of these dissidents and we\u2019ll get things peaceful again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPeaceful or quiet?\u201d asked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Peaceful,\u201d assured Ultra Magnus, sensing his youngest brother\u2019s question. \u201cNext, we have the straight man of Starscream\u2019s trine, Thundercracker.\u201d His hologram appeared after Starscream\u2019s vanished. \u201cNext is the goof, Skywarp.\u201d Skywarp\u2019s funny face came up as he stuck out his tongue. \u201cNext is Soundwave.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSoundwave?\u201d gulped Bumblebee. \u201cThe guy with the minions?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYes,\u201d confirmed Ultra Magnus, \u201cand said minions are with him. Last is Knock-out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat quack?!\u201d yelped Ratchet. \u201cAll he\u2019s good for is preening himself like a peacock!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCareful,\u201d urged Optimus. \u201cA peacock may take offense to that.\u201d At that point, the conference room doors opened and Rouge stormed in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019d like to file a complaint!\u201d she snapped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNot now, Rouge!\u201d hissed Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cA noise complaint against you!\u201d continued Rouge, not allowing herself to be deterred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI believe I told Aleena and Topaz,\u201d urged Optimus, \u201cthat the Autobots need privacy for a while until our new arrivals are acclimated to Mobius!\u201d Rouge was not going to let her complaint be unheard, so she flew onto the conference table and landed in front of Prowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMy quarters are right next to his guest quarters,\u201d she snarled to Prowl. \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t believe the racket he makes!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRouge!\u201d growled Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDo you know what it sounds like when you practice Cyber-ninjutsu?!\u201d snapped Rouge. \u201cLast night, it sounded like you were throwing ninja stars at the walls!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat was for all of five minutes!\u201d protested Optimus. \u201cOnce you complained, I did my transform-ups!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYeah,\u201d griped Rouge, not the slightest bit placated, \u201carmor plating and t-cog, making racket in sync!\u201d She then made the transformation noises with her mouth in a repeating pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou can hear that?\u201d quizzed Prowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHello?!\u201d asked Rouge as she pointed to her ears. \u201cSometimes I can hear him humming when he\u2019s meditating!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMaybe you should get new quarters,\u201d remarked Prowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMaybe he should have a little consideration!\u201d snarled Rouge. \u201cCyber-ninja practice in the middle of the night, there ought to be a law on Cybertron for that!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCome back in half an hour,\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cI\u2019ll be happy to take your complaint then.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMa\u2019am,\u201d called Ultra Magnus as he took out a silver rod, \u201chow long have you known the Autobots?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPut that away,\u201d directed Optimus. \u201cA mind wipe won\u2019t do any good.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cW-W-What do you m-mean?\u201d asked Megatronus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI had a better transition in mind,\u201d sighed Optimus, \u201cbut the Turbo-fox is out of the cage now. That\u2019s Ms. Alexis SIlverwing\u2019s job.\u201d A bell then sounded. \u201cSpeaking of,\u201d muttered Optimus. He put the call through. Alexis appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPrime, did you see any MECH soldiers in Mazuri garb?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026No, why?\u201d replied Optimus, confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBecause,\u201d explained Alexis, \u201cthe Mazuri branch of G.U.N reported MECH making a smash and grab in their storage facility. The place looks like it was hit by an army of wrecking balls.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhy would they take something there?\u201d asked Jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDoes Project: Sun Blaster mean anything?\u201d inquired Alexis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe Solar Cannon?!\u201d yelped Bumblebee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWith enough power to melt Cybertronian steel,\u201d recalled Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAs of last night,\u201d reported Alexis, \u201cit was missing its primary focusing lens. But, MECH hadn\u2019t found the tracking device on it yet, so we know where they took it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThen give us the coordinates and we\u2019ll get it back,\u201d declared Optimus, \u201cme, Megatronus, and Ultra Magnus!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cME?!\u201d yelped Megatronus. \u201cW-W-WHY ME?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe DO need to test our new alt-modes,\u201d mused Ultra Magnus. \u201cNow is the perfect time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThen what are we waiting for?!\u201d urged Optimus. \u201cWhile Ratchet brings Perceptor up to speed, the Pax Children are off to get that Solar Cannon part! Teletraan, have you received the coordinates?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGot them!\u201d called Teletraan. Megatronus jumped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m n-n-never gonna g-g-get used to th-that!\u201d he gasped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSorry,\u201d muttered Teletraan. \u201cOpening Ground Bridge.\u201d The vortex opened, and Optimus cracked his knuckles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou bots ready?\u201d he called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAs I\u2019ll ever b-be,\u201d stammered Megatronus. \u201cM-M-MEGAT-T-TRONUS, T-T-TRANSF-F-FORM!\u201d His upper torso rotated to the back and his arms folded onto his chest, his shoulder pads going to where his head sunk in to make a single hover generator. His legs folded onto the back and released two pairs of gun barrels, a large one on top of a small one, and the cockpit for the driver came forward above the front hover generator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cULTRA MAGNUS, TRANSFORM!\u201d Ultra Magnus\u2019 alt-mode and transformation were like Optimus\u2019 when he was Orion Pax, just in a white and blue color scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd, last but not least, OPTIMUS PRIME, TRANSFORM!\u201d Optimus changed and summoned his trailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cA t-t-trailer?!\u201d yelped Megatronus as his holo-form came up. It was a gray Mobian Hedgehog in a dark gray suit and a black tube around his right forearm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cA secret weapon?\u201d asked Ultra Magnus as his holo-form came up.
