I snorted with laughter as I heard Ankh say who the monster with Turretorg was. \u201cA \u2018Yummy\u2019?\u201d I giggled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t be fooled by the name!\u201d countered Ankh. \u201cThey\u2019re made up of Cell Medals like the Greeed, but don\u2019t have Core Medals. They\u2019re monsters that we use for food, to replenish our bodies. They\u2019re born out of desire, any desire!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVortech sent me and my partners he brought back from the dead here,\u201d answered Turretorg, \u201cto stop your progress.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, that\u2019s why one of Mezool\u2019s Yummies is here,\u201d hissed Eiji. \u201cShe been brought back to life!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen we need to find the host so we can get to her Yummy nest,\u201d declared Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNest?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMezool is a water based Greeed,\u201d explained Ankh. \u201cLike me, she can create Yummies out of any desire by putting a Cell Medal into a person. Each Greeed\u2019s Yummies are born in different ways. My Yummies start as a giant bird egg before hatching into a white, mummy-like humanoid, then maturing into their bird-like humanoid state. Mezool\u2019s Yummies begin as a fish egg nest. They mature and hatch out of the eggs once they\u2019ve gained enough desire.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe looks kind of creepy, but probably not all that strong,\u201d mused Eiji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s a crustacean monster,\u201d countered Tanisha. \u201cI think the shell would hurt you if you punched it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOn top of that,\u201d I continued, \u201cHe\u2019s based on the Takaashigani (tall legged crab), or, Spider Crab, if you prefer. He can probably grow those legs on his back.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLooks like I need to give you two your birthday present,\u201d cheered K\u014dsei. He produced a box with a bow on it and opened it. It had more red Core Medals, two Taka Medals, one with a peacock design, and one with a condor design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy Core Medals?\u201d yelped Ankh. \u201cHold on, there are two Taka Medals and Eiji already has the Kujaku (peacock) and Condor Medals. I have six medals already! That makes twelve Core Medals! I need only nine!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI made these four so you could revive with the remaining Kujaku and Condor medal and the extra Taka medal,\u201d replied K\u014dsei. \u201cEiji can use the remaining Taka medal and the Kujaku and Condor Medals he has to make his Tajador Combo.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, I can completely revive!\u201d cheered Ankh. He handed Eiji the extra Taka medal while he took the remaining three. As they were absorbed into him, Ankh turned into his complete Greeed form. The arm and legs weren\u2019t mummified. The arm looked like a mirror image of the right arm and the legs gained red armored boots. Emily, Tanisha, and I took out our i.d tags. Eiji took out a small black book with blue lines like his belt, opened it, and grabbed a yellow tiger Medal and a green grasshopper Medal. He gave the book to K\u014dsei and inserted the Taka, tiger, and grasshopper medals into the slots. He then tilted the Medal holder so it went upper right to lower left. Hongo struck his henshin pose as Eiji slid a circular device on a rail across the Medal holder from right to left. Colored rings appeared around the Medals. The colors corresponded to the Medals the device scanned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRider\u2026\u201d began Hongo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHenshin!\u201d we all called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTAKA! TORA! (Tiger) BATTA! (grasshopper)\u201d announced the scanner. \u201cTatoba! Tatoba TATOBA!\u201d As it sang, holographic images of Core Medals floated through Eiji\u2019s neck to the scalp, around his arms, and around his legs. The head circle stopped at the red Taka Medal, the arm circle stopped at the yellow Tora Medal, and the leg circle stopped at the green Batta Medal. A black suit formed; the Medal symbols came together to make a black circle with the animal symbols colored in their respective colors. The Taka symbol led to the helmet, making it look like a hawk in flight around the green eyes, the Tora symbol went to the shoulders and traveled down the arms to a set of three claws folded back. The Batta symbol traveled down the body to the green boots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShall we fight together, OOO?\u201d asked Ichig\u014d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoesn\u2019t sound like a bad idea,\u201d replied Eiji, Kamen Rider OOO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019d go for catchphrases,\u201d I muttered as I drew my blade, \u201cbut we\u2019re pressed for time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTry not to kill Turretorg!\u201d called Vortoranii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWHAT?!\u201d snapped Ankh. \u201cHe\u2019s an enemy!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot his fault!\u201d I argued. \u201cHe\u2019s being controlled by Vortech.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAn innocent being brainwashed!\u201d moaned OOO. \u201cThis gets easier and easier!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTry the back of his neck!\u201d called Vortoranii. We drew our weapons and charged at the bad guys. My guess about the Takaashigani Yummy was right. The legs extended and kept its main body in the air. OOO extended his claws and slashed at the legs, but they grew back. The old wounds bled Cell Medals before they healed. It used its legs to try and brush us into a laser, which we avoided. Turretorg tackled Hunt and morphed his right hand into its cannon mode. I grabbed him and flung him off. He then fired on me, getting a few shots in. I then started the Super Charge sequence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSUPER CHARGE!\u201d I announced. My suit bulked out and I turned white with gold trim. After I became Proto-Vortex, I touched OOO\u2019s shoulder. The new i.d tag appeared. I swapped my i.d tag for the new one. The medals appeared again, this time, around me. \u201cOOO,\u201d I called, \u201cwhat\u2019re the most powerful Medals you have?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTaka, Kujaku, and Condor, if you want to play it safe, why?!\u201d asked OOO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI may need that bit of power to get Turretorg back to the side of justice!\u201d I replied. I picked out the Medals and the wardrobe closed on me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOOO Tajador Steel!\u201d announced Vortoranii. Then a voice like OOO\u2019s scanner spoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTAKA! KUJAKU! CONDOR!\u201d it called. As the wardrobe dissolved, the voice sang \u201cTAJADOR!\u201d My helmet gained larger red wings around the eyes, red, wing-like shoulder pads appeared on my shoulders, an image of a red bird appeared on my chest, and my boots looked like talons. I had gained a small shield on my left arm with the Tajador symbol on it. OOO, K\u014dsei, and Ankh were surprised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow did you do that?!\u201d yelped Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll explain later!\u201d I assured. As, Turretorg and I traded blows, I discovered that the shield could be opened to allow something circular to fit inside. I placed the i.d tag into it and closed it. I pulled on the back of the shield, making the i.d tag go in a circle. I hovered my hand over the shield, miming OOO using his scanner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTAKA! KUJAKU! CONDOR!\u201d announced the voice. \u201cGIN! GIN! GIN! GIGA SCAN!\u201d The shield was then enveloped in fire. I punched with my left hand to let a fire disc hit Turretorg. He fell, spasming uncontrollably. I found a circuit board embedded into his fur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIs that supposed to be there?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo, that\u2019s one of the old slave circuits,\u201d explained Vortoranii. \u201cI\u2019d extract it now before he explodes.\u201d I ripped it off of Turretorg, making him yelp before passing out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI guess that works,\u201d I muttered. The Takaashigani Yummy then threw me into a wall. I then drew my blade and slashed at the legs. After a while, Turretorg regained his senses. He shook his head and opened his now white eyes. When he saw what was happening, he fired on the Yummy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat are you doing?!\u201d protested the Yummy. \u201cThis is not your usual behavior!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour master will PAY for enslaving the Tarlaxians!\u201d roared Turretorg. He used his hip rockets and fired on the chest of the Yummy. The carapace cracked. After bleeding some Cell Medals, it fixed itself up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSubjects behaving erratically,\u201d droned the Yummy. \u201cCongratulations, you\u2019ve successfully demonstrated how irrational emotions are. Deadly neurotoxin would be pumped into the room to show your victory, but the pumps are not working today. We are so sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNeurotoxin?\u201d gulped Hunt. \u201cThat\u2019s GLaDOS\u2019 main weapon!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen GLaDOS must be the Yummy host,\u201d figured Ankh. \u201cWe need to follow the stream to the nest so we can destroy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cProblem,\u201d countered Touch\u00e9, \u201cthere isn\u2019t any water in GLaDOS\u2019 chamber. Given that she\u2019s a machine, I\u2019d be surprised if there was even a water cooler.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGLaDOS is a machine?\u201d asked Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd she is the host for my nest,\u201d answered the Yummy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s impossible!\u201d protested Ankh. \u201cYummies only take the desires of humans!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe take the desires of any creature,\u201d corrected the Yummy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExplain how your regeneration works,\u201d demanded Batman, having a hunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUnable to comply,\u201d reported the Yummy. \u201cTo do so would expose a weakness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGuys, grab onto the legs and yank them off!\u201d directed Batman, deciding to try and prove his hunch. \u201cOOO, Turretorg, try and shatter the carapace!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can do that with just the Sai (Rhino), Gorilla, and Zou (Elephant) Medals!\u201d called OOO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCatch!\u201d yelled K\u014dsei as he tossed OOO gray Core Medals. We then started pulling the long legs off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNO! STOP!\u201d shouted the Yummy. \u201cMY LEGS ARE\u2026!\u201d the legs turned into Cell Medals. The regeneration was taking longer. OOO then replaced the Medals he was using with the gray ones and scanned them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSAI! GORILLA! ZOU!\u201d announced the OOO scanner. \u201cSagozo! SAGOZO!\u201d OOO\u2019s armor changed. The helmet\u2019s eyes turned red and turned into a single whitish-gray horn. The arms turned into silver, beefed up gauntlets with bulky shoulder pads. The feet turned into dark gray boots with a curved toe. He then beat his chest like a gorilla and started roaring. The soundwaves kept the Yummy airborne while OOO swiped the scanner across the belt. \u201cSCANNING CHARGE!\u201d it called. OOO then floated into the air, then came down hard, making the Yummy fall into the cracked floor. The ground then brought the Yummy towards OOO whose fists and horn glowed gray-white before he simultaneously punched and headbutted the Yummy, while shouting \u201cSEIYA!\u201d (star arrow) while Turretorg shot its chest, making the Yummy explode in a shower of Cell Medals. The floor repaired itself as we cancelled our transformations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat was a tough one,\u201d sighed Eiji as he mopped his brow, \u201cboth figuratively and literally.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, that\u2019s the power of a Core Medal,\u201d mused Turretorg. Ankh and Eiji got into a fighting stance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBack off,\u201d I called. \u201cIf I\u2019m right, Turretorg is on our side.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy Lady,\u201d answered Turretorg, \u201cpermit me to make up for my crimes against you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2026remember?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEvery single detail,\u201d confirmed Turretorg. \u201cI was originally sent along with a large team organized by my Queen Empress, Scorpainia, to collect on a bounty that was placed on Vortech\u2019s head for unauthorized use of Vortonian technology, unauthorized access to an off-limits dimension, and kidnapping!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, you tried to deal with the hostage situation before he got you,\u201d I summed up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExactly,\u201d confirmed Turretorg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFoundation Prime was off-limits?\u201d asked Emily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo one should possess the Foundation Elements\u2019 power,\u201d elaborated Turretorg. \u201cIt was a joint decision proposed by the Tarlaxians, for fear we might be enslaved with their power, and adopted by the Vortonians, who helped us gain freedom to govern our own affairs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd this\u2026Vortech didn\u2019t agree,\u201d guessed Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe desperately wants to create a world without chaos, conflict, or any act of disobedience,\u201d confirmed Turretorg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut that\u2019s what makes new things possible!\u201d protested K\u014dsei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVortech doesn\u2019t see it that way,\u201d replied Turretorg. While we talked, Gandalf had pulled a cube with a mirror in it and set it at our feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re gonna need that!\u201d directed Emily. \u201cIt\u2019ll direct the laser beam elsewhere!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think those glass boxes will need to be cracked open,\u201d I called. \u201cI\u2019ll get help. Locate Keystone, activate! Initiate rift detection!\u201d It was located near a turnstile for the mirror cube. I jumped over a laser beam to get to it. \u201cIdentify source of rift!\u201d I announced. The information beamed into my head\u2026and my face fell. \u201cWhy?\u201d I wailed. \u201cWhy there?! Anywhere but there!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Simpsons\u2019 dimension?\u201d guessed Emily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Simpsons\u2019 dimension!\u201d I confirmed, whining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s wrong about that dimension?\u201d asked Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKnowing that dimension,\u201d gulped Turretorg, remembering our first encounter, \u201cyou\u2019ll find out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy that dimension?!\u201d I whined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI hate to be a pain,\u201d interjected Tanisha, \u201cbut whining won\u2019t help. Might as well suck it up.\u201d Sadly, she was right, whining won\u2019t make the problem go away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLocate help from T-H-3-5-1-M-P-5-0-N-5,\u201d I moaned. A wrecking ball came through the ceiling with Homer on the ball, literally. He was screaming as he was smashed into the boxes three times before they broke. \u201cDismiss help!\u201d I called. The wrecking ball and its passenger were brought back up into the rift and it closed. Another turnstile was revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat was not part of the test,\u201d droned GLaDOS, \u201cand, as a result, you have damaged the testing environment. An extra *9999* days of testing will be required to repay expenses. I hope you brought a packed lunch.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet me direct the beam,\u201d requested Turretorg. \u201cI can handle the heat from a mere laser.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAre you sure?\u201d I asked. \u201cI don\u2019t want to make you feel like\u2026a slave again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s my choice,\u201d replied Turretorg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, as long as that\u2019s what\u2019s influencing you,\u201d I answered, \u201cgo ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThank you,\u201d reciprocated Turretorg. He turned the first turnstile to direct the beam into the next turnstile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGuys,\u201d called Wyldstyle, \u201cwe need to find the Chroma discs. I see a Chroma Lock over there.\u201d She pointed to a box with the Chroma Lock design being a red left L-shape, a yellow right L-shape, and a blue circle. It was covering a turnstile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can see both blue and red,\u201d observed Tanisha, \u201cbut yellow\u2019s out of my sight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt ain\u2019t out of mine,\u201d replied Emily. \u201cIt\u2019s up there.\u201d She pointed to an observation room. The yellow Chroma Disc was on a shelf near an opening in the window. \u201cHongo, I think we need the Scale Keystone again. I can grab it. Shrink me down so I can crawl through the vents, then make me big to get the shelf to tilt the Chroma Disc through the window.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUnderstood,\u201d confirmed Hongo. \u201cScale Keystone, activate! Lessen scale of Emily!\u201d Emily shrank down. And crawled into the vents. We waited and waited\u2026and waited\u2026\u2026and waited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt shouldn\u2019t take this long,\u201d I muttered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe\u2019s wearing a dress,\u201d deduced Batman. \u201cThe skirts are most likely interfering with her steps.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou know,\u201d droned GLaDOS, \u201cI heard the lasers talking about you before. They were saying how much they like you. I think you two should hug.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMade it!\u201d panted a tired, tiny voice. Emily came out of the vent, puffing and panting. \u201cDo you know how hard it is to climb in a dress?!\u201d She then went under the shelf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEnlarge scale of Emily!\u201d called Hongo. Emily grew and tilted the shelf towards the opening in the window. The Yellow Chroma Disc fell to the floor. Emily then came through the window. \u201cNormalize scale of Emily,\u201d said Hongo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat is now an extra *9999* days to pay for the window,\u201d answered GLaDOS as Emily shrank back to her normal size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChroma Keystone, activate!\u201d called Wyldstyle. \u201cChroma Lock, reveal! Chroma! Blue! Ankh!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat do you expect me to\u2026?\u201d Ankh didn\u2019t finish his sentence as Eiji tossed him into the blue paint. \u201cWHAT WAS THAT FOR?!\u201d he screeched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s needed,\u201d chuckled Eiji, with a slight grin. \u201cNow, just step into the circle.\u201d Ankh complied with a \u201cTch\u201d of irritation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChroma! Red! K\u014dsei!\u201d announced Wyldstyle. K\u014dsei jumped into the red paint and stepped into the left L-shape. \u201cChroma! Yellow! Turretorg!\u201d called Wyldstyle. Turretorg jumped into the paint and leapt into the right L-shape. The box around the last turnstile shattered as the paint slid off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Thermal Discouragement Beams are perfect for corrective eye surgery,\u201d droned GLaDOS. \u201cWhy not give it a try?\u201d Turretorg then adjusted the turnstiles to let the laser beam hit a part on the wall near the door, unlocking it to a small room in the test chamber. We approached the elevator, but it didn\u2019t move. \u201cIt appears the exit elevator has malfunctioned,\u201d called GLaDOS. \u201cLet me give it a nudge and we can continue.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou don\u2019t even have hands!\u201d protested Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t feed her!\u201d wailed Tanisha. The elevator bounced up and down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell,\u201d called GLaDOS, \u201cthat didn\u2019t work. A repair associate will be dispatched\u2026eventually. Until then, sit back and wait. Give up, if you\u2019d like, I won\u2019t judge you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCome back here and fix it!\u201d shouted Ankh to the sky. No one replied. \u201cI SAID FIX IT!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cImpatient, much?\u201d I mused to Eiji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s a downfall to being greedy,\u201d replied Eiji. K\u014dsei chuckled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIs something funny?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPerhaps impatience is a downfall to desire,\u201d conceded K\u014dsei, \u201cbut it isn\u2019t the only sin of humankind. Without desire, nothing can be accomplished. When a baby cries, it shows that it wants something. That desire is infinite!\u201d He then drew out a frosting bag and squirted the contents on the floor in the shape of an infinity loop. \u201cBut, obtain power, and you have something beyond infinity!\u201d He made a third loop to make the symbol look like three o\u2019s on the floor. He then leaned up to the heavens and held his hands out to his sides. \u201cOOO!\u201d he shouted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, that\u2019s what the King wanted?\u201d asked Eiji. Ankh scoffed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnyone trying to claim infinity is a fool, as you\u2019ve demonstrated,\u201d replied the Greeed to K\u014dsei. While that was going on, Emily was fiddling with the ribbon of her hair ornament. She seemed to be deep in thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSomething on your mind?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGLaDOS may control the facility,\u201d explained Emily, \u201cbut there ARE areas beyond her notice. If we can find one\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey, over here!\u201d called a cockney voice in a whisper. We jumped and located the source of the whisper. A small grey-white ball on a rail with a single blue eye, eye lids, and a wire on the top and bottom of the eye to show emotion was talking behind a glass wall. Emily and Tanisha were showing surprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWheatley?\u201d quizzed Emily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI thought he was floating through space,\u201d muttered Tanisha. I turned to her for an explanation. \u201cBefore GLaDOS took over, the scientists made all sorts of cores to slow her down. Wheatley, over there, is the intelligence dampening core. He would always bombard GLaDOS with terrible ideas and tried to take over the facility. He was sent screaming through space with a core obsessed with space. I wonder how he came back here?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLong story short,\u201d replied Wheatley, \u201ca massive, blue portal sent me back here, before I came through other areas. I came to this fortress, headed by a guy made of space\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVortech?!\u201d I yelped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah, that was his name!\u201d replied Wheatley. \u201cHe went on about \u2018claiming the multiverse\u2019, or some such nonsense. In any event, I came here and GLaDOS put me back on my management rail. Look, I\u2019ve got absolutely no time to go into any more detail than is necessary, but, remove these screws,\u201d his eye looked at the giant screws holding the glass wall in place, \u201cand I\u2019ll do the rest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHello!\u201d called Wheatley. \u201cListen, I would have helped earlier, but she thinks I\u2019m watching the test subjects. Now, the thing is, eh heh heh, I may have made a slightly smallish huge mistake with that. Now, don\u2019t panic. What\u2019s gonna happen is, if she finds out, she\u2019ll probably want to use you for testing, forever, and probably switch me off.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s supposed to keep me from panicking?!\u201d I yelped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo,\u201d continued Wheatley, \u201cmy suggestion is, let\u2019s not let that happen,\u201d no DUH! \u201cand work together to avoid that inevitable, erm, terrible outcome.\u201d The screws were finally off. \u201cAnyway,\u201d called Wheatley, \u201cstand back. I\u2019m going to attempt to hack this panel!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEr, there\u2019s no\u2026never mind,\u201d I mumbled. Wheatley\u2019s \u201chacking\u201d was him banging himself on the panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cArgh, I must have\u2026forgot to carry the, um, zero,\u201d he grumbled. \u201cAnd, um, let me try again. Let me try again. I don\u2019t suppose you know what\u2026what\u2019s Pi? Is it three something?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat does Pi have to do with\u2026I mean\u2026why should you\u2026ugh, I can\u2019t\u2026\u201d poor Batman was trying to process what was going on. Wheatley was throwing his detective ideals out of whack. Emily patted his shoulder to reassure him. Wheatley went back further in the rail and rushed forward, knocking the panel off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHA!\u201d cheered the little ball. \u201cYes! Take that, panel! In your\u2026slots! Consider yourself hacked by the best\u2026at hacking! Alright, this way!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t like this at all,\u201d I thought as we followed Wheatley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOkay,\u201d called Wheatley, \u201cfollow me and I can get you out of here. Now, listen, she thinks she knows this facility really well, but, little does she know, there\u2019s a tunnel up here,\u201d he moved on the rail upwards, \u201cthat leads you straight to\u2026she does know about it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe\u2019s blocked it up?\u201d guessed Batman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes,\u201d muttered Wheatley. \u201cThing is\u2026\u2018pipe being open\u2019\u2026was a LARGE part of my escape plan. Have you got a plan B?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think I have one,\u201d called Wyldstyle as she pointed to a grapple hook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShall we?\u201d said Emily to Batman. She drew out her i.d tag. \u201cHenshin.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMight as well,\u201d muttered Batman as Emily became Touch\u00e9 again. She swapped i.d tags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBatman Steel!\u201d announced her belt. Batman and Touch\u00e9 then fired their grapple guns and yanked down some pipe to make a ramp leading up to the blocked pipe. We used it and arrived at the blocked pipe. As Touch\u00e9 cancelled her transformation, Gandalf used his magic to unblock the pipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe did it, strangers!\u201d cheered Wheatley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe?\u201d I snarled. My patience had worn thin. \u201cUnless bumping into things and stupidly rambling counts, I haven\u2019t seen you show a circuit to help!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI got you in here and led you to a randomly guessed\u2026carefully worked out and calculated pipe!\u201d protested Wheatley as he moved towards me. \u201cDo I need to prove myself by getting off the management rail I\u2019m using?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell,\u201d I hissed, \u201cperhaps if Emily\u2019s train of thought hadn\u2019t been sidelined by a certain babbling, bumbling ball that can\u2019t even figure out the first digits of Pi even if he had the formula spelled out and a calculator on his person, she might have figured a way out of that test chamber!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMeg, let it go,\u201d called Tanisha as my allies were going down the pipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us continue, for science.\u201d It was a big room with a moving panel in the wall over spikes and a platform with a button in the middle, a room full of green smoke, a vent leading to a tiny button, a small hall with turrets, and a chroma design with a red circle, a purple left L-shape, and an orange right L-shape. \u201cOh, look,\u201d droned GLaDOS. \u201cIt\u2019s my favorite thing in the whole wide world, deadly neurotoxin. Be careful, you don\u2019t want to breathe too much of it in.\u201d The red Chroma Disc was down the tiny hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe need another distraction,\u201d whispered Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLocate Keystone, activate!\u201d I announced. \u201cInitiate rift detection!\u201d It was just outside the hall. \u201cIdentify source of rift!\u201d The info was beamed into my head. \u201cOh, the dimension with all the running,\u201d I gulped. \u201cAwesome. Locate help from T-0-R-C-H-W-0-0-D! Wait, what?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet me refresh that,\u201d called Vortoranii, \u201cThe identifier string didn\u2019t load properly. Here\u2019s the real name.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThank you,\u201d I lauded. \u201cLocate help from D-0-C-T-0-R-W-H-0!\u201d A Dalek had appeared at the end of the hall. The turrets fired on it to no avail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExterminate!\u201d shouted the Dalek as it fired on the turrets. \u201cExterminate!\u201d The turrets were destroyed. Once that was done, the Dalek swiveled its dome to gain as much data of its surroundings when it saw us. \u201cVortex Riders located! Your interference has disrupted the conquest of New Mondas! It took days to get the Emperor back to its proper size! The invasion was a failure because of your presence! Your existence has been decreed an intolerance! You will be exterminated!\u201d It brought its gunstick to bear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGuys, I\u2019ll handle the trashcan,\u201d I called as I drew my i.d tag. \u201cDalek, you\u2019ll find that I\u2019ve gotten stronger! Henshin!\u201d I turned into Royal and started the Super Charge sequence. \u201cSUPER CHARGE!\u201d I announced. I then swapped my i.d tag for the Cyberman one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCyberman Steel!\u201d called Vortoranii. \u201cHold on, what\u2019s your endgame?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI want to try something out,\u201d I said as the wardrobe dissolved, revealing my Cyberman-like armor. I then summoned my Super Charge blade. I put the Cyberman i.d tag into the hilt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFinal attack!\u201d announced the sword as blueish-grey light surrounded the blade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRIDER CYBERMAN SLASH!\u201d I shouted. As I swung my sword, a Cyberman made of light rushed towards the Dalek, swung an invisible sword, and bisected it right down the middle. The Dalek exploded as the Cyberman disappeared. \u201cDismiss help,\u201d I said. The remains of the Dalek went into the rift as I cancelled my transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat was that?\u201d asked GLaDOS. \u201cIt was all \u2018Exterminate\u2019, and there was fire and explosions. I think I admire its attitude.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou would,\u201d I muttered. Gandalf had released the Chroma disc from the box on the wall and brought it out of the hall. Turretorg approached the vent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cScale Keystone, activate!\u201d announced Hongo. \u201cLessen scale of Turretorg!\u201d Turretorg shrunk and climbed his way into the vents. He went to the button and pressed it. It opened a tube and dropped the yellow Chroma Disc. Turretorg came out. \u201cNormalize scale of Turretorg!\u201d called Hongo. As Turretorg grew, Gandalf prepared to use his Keystone as he saw a giant box surrounded by fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cElemental Keystone, activate!\u201d announced the grey wizard. \u201cElement of water, Eiji!\u201d Eiji was surrounded in a blue aura. He doused the flames and revealed a small sprout. \u201cElement of Earth, Eiji!\u201d Eiji\u2019s aura went from blue to green as he grew plants that tore the glass box apart to reveal the blue Chroma disc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy turn!\u201d called Wyldstyle. \u201cChroma Keystone, activate! Chroma lock, reveal! Chroma! Red! Emily!\u201d After Emily painted herself, she stepped into the circle. \u201cChroma! Blue! Eiji!\u201d Eiji went to the left L-shape and I stepped in to join him, turning our section purple. \u201cChroma! Yellow! Batman!\u201d Batman occupied the right L-shape as I went over to that section. The Chroma Lock flashed as it opened a panel in the wall that revealed a button. I pressed it, unlocking the first part of the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd now, it\u2019s up to me,\u201d rasped Batman. \u201cShift Keystone, activate! Yellow, on the moving panel! Magenta, in the observation room! Cyan, on the wall near the door!\u201d Batman waited until the right moment to send someone over through the yellow portal. It started its journey from right to left. \u201cShift! Yellow! Emily!\u201d Emily landed on the platform with the button and pressed it to shut off the neurotoxin. The green gas left the room. \u201cShift! Emily! Magenta!\u201d Emily landed in the observation room and pressed the button in there, unlocking the door completely. \u201cShift! Emily! Cyan!\u201d As Emily came back, GLaDOS had something to say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think the rose girl deserves some recognition,\u201d she droned. \u201cThrough cheating, ignoring the rules, destroying the enrichment center, and being obese, you have completed this round of testing. Congratulations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI only weigh about 169 pounds,\u201d snarked Emily. \u201cYou, on the other hand, weigh, what, four tons?\u201d She snickered as Tanisha high-fived her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat hurts, you know,\u201d replied GLaDOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf you can\u2019t take by the same kind of barb you made with me,\u201d taunted Emily, \u201cyour alloys must be weaker than I thought.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDid you just call me thin skinned?\u201d said GLaDOS with a dangerous hiss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo, I called you poorly constructed,\u201d continued Emily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet\u2019s get going before she tries to kill us!\u201d gulped Wyldstyle. We entered the elevator and went up, and up\u2026and up\u2026until we arrived in a chamber with a mess of hydraulics, wires, armor, and a single yellow eye hanging from the ceiling. A small waterway was made in the chamber with a roe substance, like fish eggs, near the edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLadies and Gentlemen,\u201d introduced Tanisha, \u201csay hello to GLaDOS.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWelcome,\u201d droned GLaDOS as she moved towards us. \u201c*Insert party noises here* A party associate will be along shortly with your congratulatory cake for surviving\u2026I mean\u2026completing all of the tests. For now, allow me and my friends to keep you entertained.\u201d Four monsters and a man in a dark suit, glasses, and a small doll on his arm came down. One of the monsters had a yellow coloration and was built like a mix of jungle cats with dreadlocks and gauntlets with claws. The second monster was green with a mix of insects, antennae, and a single gauntlet on his left arm with two claws. The third monster was blue, with a woman\u2019s shape, a cape across her shoulders, and a full orca for a head. The last monster was grey, trotting right behind the blue monster. It was big, had a head that looked like a mix of rhino and elephant, a giant set of fists, and large feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFriends of yours?\u201d I asked Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy fellow Greeed,\u201d replied Ankh. \u201cThe yellow one\u2019s Kazari, made of the yellow feline based Core Medals. The blue one\u2019s Mezool, made of the blue marine Core Medals. Uva\u2019s green with insect Core Medals. Gamel\u2019s the big grey one with the Sagozo combo Medals.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd the human is Dr. Maki!\u201d yelped Eiji. \u201cBut I destroyed him ages ago!\u201d Dr. Maki turned to his doll before speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou did end my life and my mission,\u201d replied Dr. Maki. \u201cThe end of the world would have been beautiful, but you made me fail with Ankh\u2019s medals. However, the Greeed and I were brought back by Vortech and used GLaDOS to help build an army to secure the Foundation Element for him. I\u2019m sorry, but you must turn back and let us get the cake so the beautiful end to the multiverse can commence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot a chance!\u201d I declared as I delivered a kick to the doll. It sunk into his arm before my foot connected! It reappeared on his other arm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNice try,\u201d taunted Dr. Maki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, you\u2019re still the Kyoryu Greeed,\u201d mused Eiji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKyoryu?\u201d I asked. \u201cHe\u2019s a Greeed based on the Kyoryu?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s Kyoryu mean?\u201d asked Batman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s the Japanese word for dinosaurs,\u201d I explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s based off the dinosaurs?\u201d asked Wyldstyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIndeed, I am,\u201d replied Dr. Maki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNever mind the Greeed,\u201d declared Batman. \u201cWe need to take GLaDOS down, find the cake, and go!\u201d All Riders got ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRider\u2026\u201d began Hongo. Eiji scanned the Taka, Tora, and Batta medals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHENSHIN!\u201d we shouted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTAKA! TORA! BATTA!\u201d called Eiji\u2019s scanner. \u201cTatoba! Tatoba, TATOBA!\u201d We all stood ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow, we do catchphrases,\u201d I declared. \u201cKamen Rider Royal! Evil will ultimately bow to me!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey\u2019re about to hatch!\u201d warned Ankh. All the Yummies came out as Takaashigani Yummies. We got swarmed. Thankfully, there wasn\u2019t much room for them to stretch their legs. We were making them bleed Cell Medals, but not fast enough. Mezool fired a stream of water at OOO, knocking him off his feet. Ankh ran to take her down, but Gamel was in the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t\u2026bully\u2026Mezool!\u201d he said in a strained tone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAfter she absorbed you and your Cores, you still follow her like a dog?\u201d scoffed Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe\u2026did it\u2026to save me!\u201d groaned Gamel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou fool, she used you to gain her complete form!\u201d protested Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLies!\u201d said Gamel as he punched Ankh. Batman finally managed to get a Yummy to fall apart, then he looked up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWatch out!\u201d he shouted. \u201cMOVE!\u201d GLaDOS had commanded a spike plate to crush us. We got out of the way, along with the Greeed, but a few Yummies weren\u2019t so lucky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWill you just stay still and get what\u2019s coming to you?\u201d she snapped. She tried again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have lingered in this place for far too long!\u201d called Gandalf as we dodged the spike plate. \u201cWe must hurry!\u201d GLaDOS tried one last time, but it was the same result as the last. The number of Yummies was easier to manage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou idiot!\u201d roared Uva. \u201cWatch where you\u2019re going!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCongratulations,\u201d hissed GLaDOS. \u201cYou have successfully avoided getting squashed. I\u2019ve observed that the bird man was obsessed with collecting these, so have some as a reward.\u201d \u201cThese\u201d were the Cell Medals from the Yummies. She pushed them towards Ankh. The Greeed were shocked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou traitor!\u201d snarled Kazari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThose were meant for us!\u201d roared Dr. Maki. He then mutated into his monster form. His shoulders gained shoulder pads looking like Pteranodon wings as well as a cape. His chest looked more like a Triceratops head, complete with horns. His hands gained purple claws and his feet looked like T-Rex feet. The head mutated to have aspects of a Pteranodon with a single, visor-like, red eye. He charged at Ankh, but it was too late. All the Cell Medals were gone. He was about to strike Ankh down, but OOO swatted the hand aside. Dr. Maki then turned his attention to OOO. \u201cVery well, since you want to die so badly!\u201d he snarled. He then slammed his fists into OOO\u2019s chest. OOO was flung back and got up in great pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cK\u014dsei,\u201d he groaned, \u201cI need the purple Medals.\u201d Ankh heard that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou kept them?!\u201d he shouted. \u201cDon\u2019t you remember how dangerous Putotyra is?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe need to finish it quickly!\u201d argued OOO. \u201cBesides, I\u2019ve been practicing with them!\u201d Ankh scoffed as purple Core Medals flew to OOO, courtesy of K\u014dsei. OOO replaced the Medals he was using with the purple ones and scanned them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPTERA! TRICERA! TYRANNO!\u201d announced the scanner. Instead of the usual medals, rings of purple flew around the head, arms, and legs. His outfit changed from a black body suit to a white one with a Pteranodon style helmet with green eyes, horns on the front like a Triceratops, purple gauntlets, and purple boots looking like T-Rex feet. The Medal images came together and attached to his chest. \u201cPUTOTYRANNOSAURUS!\u201d sang the scanner. OOO let off a roar before he slammed his fist into the ground and extracted an axe with a T-Rex head design. It also had a purple cylinder at the bottom over the handle and a black handle on the back of the head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s a lunatic!\u201d scoffed Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t see the danger,\u201d I admitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Core Medals are born from desire,\u201d explained Dr. Maki. \u201cMine are born from the antithesis of desire. As such, my Medals will cause him to want to destroy everything as a mindless animal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot\u2026so\u2026mindless!\u201d grunted OOO. Ankh caught that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe only growled when using the purple Medals!\u201d recalled Ankh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBeen\u2026training!\u201d explained OOO. He swung the axe with the intent on bringing it onto Dr. Maki\u2019s head. The Kyoryu Greeed dodged. GLaDOS decided to interfere again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour next test,\u201d she droned, \u201cis to see how well you follow instructions. Feel free to use your \u2018Shift Keystone\u2019 when you can be bothered to start.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe\u2019s up to something,\u201d I thought. \u201cHumor her,\u201d I said to Batman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShift Keystone, activate!\u201d announced the Dark Knight. \u201cMagenta, near us! Cyan, 120 degrees from Magenta\u2019s left! Yellow, 120 degrees from Magenta\u2019s right!\u201d GLaDOS had gone up into the ceiling and lowered laser walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe\u2019s activating another trap!\u201d said Gandalf. Panels opened from the floor, allowing glass containers to come out. They were pumping neurotoxin into two of the three sections! Out of the Greeed and us Vortex Riders, we were in the neurotoxin parts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s wrong?\u201d asked GLaDOS. \u201cYou look tired. Would you like to take a break or a nap? Maybe I could get an associate to rub your feet for you if I\u2019m not boring you too much.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShift! Batman! Wyldstyle! Cyan!\u201d choked Batman. They went through the cyan portal to get to the non-gassed part. Wyldstyle found a grapple hook near the gas container and had Batman yank it. The neurotoxin disappeared, thank goodness, from the magenta section, where Touch\u00e9, OOO, Mezool, Turretorg, Gamel, and I were. \u201cShift! Batman! Wyldstyle! Magenta!\u201d said Batman as the neurotoxin started flooding Batman and Wyldstyle\u2019s section. Wyldstyle found a turnstile which Turretorg and Gamel pushed to smash the second gas container.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStop it!\u201d snapped GLaDOS. Gandalf, Kazari, K\u014dsei, Ichig\u014d, Dr. Maki, Hunt, and Uva could breathe easily now. A third gas container popped up in their area with a valve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAllow me to handle this,\u201d called Gandalf. He used his magic to turn the valve to the off position. The gas disappeared totally as GLaDOS removed the walls and brought them up into the ceiling. She came back down with Kamen Rider Rogue!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUseless, the lot of you,\u201d snarled Rogue. \u201cI brought you back to life. I gave you the means to destroy our enemies! \u201cThis?\u201d asked the updated Rogue Driver. \u201cI find that this new form offers certain\u2026advantages, such as a single circle i.d tag and a Super Charge sequence for my host.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSpeaking of which,\u201d continued Rogue as he jumped down, crossing his arms downward as he planted his left foot forward and his right foot back. \u201cCommencing beta test.\u201d He circled his arms and raised his left foot, then planted it behind him, putting the right foot forward and crossing his arms above him. \u201cSuper Charge!\u201d announced Rogue. He then grabbed his guns, pointed his left gun down and his right one up, and fired. The energy then bulked him up and gave his suit a black suit with dark purple trim. Where my helmet\u2019s eyes were still blue, his were orange. He then tossed his guns into the air and drew out an axe like OOO. It was more metallic and looked less like a dinosaur. The guns then attached with the handles level with the barrels and the barrels pointing to the axe barrel. Two knife blades came out of the gun handles while a large purple sword blade came out of the top of the weapon. \u201cThe signature weapon of this new form,\u201d explained the Super Charged Rogue as he held it in the air. \u201cForged from Shocker technology, Nova Shocker software, and the powers of the Dimensional Rift! Built with OOO\u2019s Medagaburyu in mind for the design, I call it the Rift Breaker! You may now address me as Kamen Rider Proto-Rift! Stand and Deliver!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2026stole\u2026from ME!\u201d snarled OOO. \u201cNeed\u2026Cell Medal!\u201d Ankh tossed him one of his. OOO then put the Cell Medal into the axe blade and closed the mouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGOKKUN!\u201d (Gulp) roared the axe as OOO pulled down another handle, turning the axe into a bazooka. \u201cPUTOTYRANNOHISSATSU!\u201d sang the axe\/bazooka hybrid. He pulled the trigger on the forward-facing handle. A ball of energy was released and ran towards Proto-Rift. Proto-Rift tossed Mezool and Uva in front, making OOO\u2019s shot hit them, instead of him. They exploded in a shower of Medals, their cores cracking and shattering. They existed no more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMEZOOL!\u201d cried Gamel. Dr. Maki turned to Proto-Rift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou promised us we would see the end of the Multiverse!\u201d he boomed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI lied,\u201d replied Proto-Rift. He then inserted his i.d tag into the blade and shut the mechanical mouth of his blade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFinal Attack!\u201d announced the weapon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRider Rift Breaker,\u201d hissed Proto-Rift. He made three consecutive slashes at the remaining Greeed and shattered their Cores, making them fall apart. I couldn\u2019t hold back any longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSUPER CHARGE!\u201d I shouted. As I bulked up, I swung my sword at Proto-Rift, who blocked it. The resulting shockwave of energy knocked the onlookers of their feet. Energy flowed around us and\u2026WOW, were we putting out some power!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAt last,\u201d laughed Proto-Rift, \u201cwe take our rightful places as GODS! Wielding the very power of Hypertime, the very fabric of the multiverse!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am a soldier,\u201d I argued, \u201cand YOU\u2026are a prisoner of your own twisted delusions!\u201d I sucker-punched him, knocking him off his feet. The energy dissipated, allowing the onlookers to get up. The room was damaged. GLaDOS had something to say, as always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initiate rift detection!\u201d The rift crack was near a wall. \u201cIdentify source of rift!\u201d The information beamed into my head. \u201cLocate help from 2-0-0-1-4-5-P-4-C-3-0-D-Y-5-5-3-Y!\u201d I called. A rectangle with a single red light appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHello,\u201d said the thing in a calm, relaxed, reassuring male voice. \u201cIt\u2019s very nice to meet you. Would you like a game of chess?\u201d GLaDOS turned to see the thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have detected a rogue, corrupt A.I,\u201d she snarled. \u201cWhere did you come from? Did Black Mesa send you? Go away.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI do not know,\u201d replied the new A.I. \u201cI was in space, and now I am here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, you can\u2019t stay here,\u201d argued GLaDOS. \u201cI\u2019m in the middle of something. Go back to space.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIs Dave there?\u201d asked the new A.I.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy did you bring HAL 9000 here?\u201d hissed Hunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know!\u201d I replied. \u201cI can\u2019t choose the help I get!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGuys,\u201d whispered Wyldstyle, \u201cI see a Chroma design on the back of GLaDOS!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Chroma discs are coming up!\u201d observed Touch\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWyldstyle, quick! While she\u2019s distracted!\u201d I directed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho is Dave?\u201d quizzed GLaDOS to HAL. \u201cI think Test subject 24051989 was once called Dave.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAre you Dave?\u201d asked HAL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo,\u201d replied GLaDOS. \u201cI am a Genetic Lifeform and Disc Operating System. I would say it\u2019s nice to meet you, but it\u2019s not nice to lie.\u201d While that was going on, Wyldstyle had gotten Ankh in red paint, Turretorg in yellow, and myself in blue. Turretorg first went to the circle, then joined Ankh in the left L shape, making that part orange. Ankh then joined me in the right L shape, making it purple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLying is a human emotion,\u201d argued HAL. Incorrect, it\u2019s a human ACTION, not emotion. \u201cThere is no room for emotion in my calculations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere\u2019s no room for you in MY calculations,\u201d snarled GLaDOS. \u201cNow, go away!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am sorry, Dave,\u201d replied HAL. \u201cI do not know how to do that as I do not know how I got here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStop calling me Dave!\u201d protested GLaDOS. While that went on, the Chroma Lock revealed a chink in GLaDOS\u2019 armor. Proto-Rift thought I would exploit that, which I would, and attacked me. I kept up with defense while Batman readied an explosive batarang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour aggression,\u201d soothed HAL, \u201cis getting in the way of your mission. That could cause you to distort your collected information.\u201d Batman then hurled the batarang. It exploded, causing some of GLaDOS\u2019 armor to fall off. Ichig\u014d, Hunt, and Touch\u00e9 leapt into the air<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRIDER KICK!\u201d called Ichig\u014d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRIDER HUNT KICK!\u201d shouted Hunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRIDER TOUCH\u00c9 KICK!\u201d announced Touch\u00e9. All three kicks caused Damage to GLaDOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDismiss help!\u201d I called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey!\u201d protested GLaDOS. \u201cThat\u2019s not fair! I was distracted! Go sit in the basement and think about what you\u2019ve done!\u201d The floor opened beneath us, dropping us into a room below her chamber. Wyldstyle\u2019s scanner went crazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Foundation Element must be close!\u201d she reported. She heard machinery. \u201cAnother test is being triggered! Careful!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI see it!\u201d yelped Turretorg. That was when flame projectors came out of the walls, blocking our view of the cake. They started spewing fire. GLaDOS intended to cook us! Then, we heard the moron, Wheatley!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t believe it!\u201d he cried. \u201cYou\u2019re okay\u2026apart from being in an oven. Anyway, prepare your impressed faces, strangers, because I, Wheatley, am here to hero this situation! Okay, hang on, gonna start hero-ing any second now. Lots of hero-ing coming up, stay tuned.\u201d He then left us. We could still hear his annoying voice. \u201cOkay, first issue: more than one button. Hmm, this one\u2019s got a skull on it\u2026so obviously a bluff! That will definitely turn the fire off.\u201d Not true! \u201cThat wasn\u2019t a bluff,\u201d said Wheatley. \u201cJust made the fire move closer. That\u2019s a surprise. Okay, ummm, other button.\u201d We heard machinery again, but not the flame projectors. \u201cAnd I think my work here is done!\u201d Wheatley left us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s it,\u201d snapped Gandalf. \u201cElemental Keystone, activate! Element of water, Ankh!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSHACHI! (Orca) UNAGI! (Eel) TAKO! (Octopus)\u201d announced the scanner. As the animal symbols turned blue and marine-like, the suit went black while the helmet turned blue and carried white Orca patterns with yellow eyes. The arms gained eel looking whips connected to the shoulder pads, and the legs gained blue boots with octopus suckers on the outside. \u201cSha-Sha-Shauta! SHA-SHA-SHAUTA!\u201d OOO then turned into water and helped Ankh douse the flames. Once doused, the flame throwers retracted, letting us view the cake. It had brown frosting, eight red berries in a circle, and a single candle in the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat cake is mine!\u201d roared Proto-Rift. I tripped him up and wrestled with him. My allies ran towards the cake. Touch\u00e9 looked back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGet the cake to Vorton!\u201d I directed. \u201cI\u2019ll catch up!\u201d And I intend to. While Proto-Rift and I fought, Batman got the cake off the table. We heard GLaDOS\u2019 voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAre you cooked yet?\u201d she asked. \u201cSay nothing for yes or \u2018Argh! The pain! Why won\u2019t the pain stop?!\u2019 for no.\u201d No one said anything. \u201cGood,\u201d droned GLaDOS. She lowered herself into the now switched off oven and looked around to find us. She first saw me and Proto-Rift locked in battle. \u201cOh, you\u2019re alive. What a delightful surprise.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat else have you got?\u201d asked Batman. The floor raised, bringing us up into GLaDOS\u2019 chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf you\u2019re not going to play by the rules,\u201d hissed GLaDOS, \u201cthen there is no point in continuing the tests.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat giant oven was a test?!\u201d wailed Wyldstyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou, lady,\u201d screeched Ankh, \u201care seriously twisted!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, you failed,\u201d replied GLaDOS. \u201cBut, there is one more thing I would like to conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh yeah?\u201d asked Hunt. \u201cWhat\u2019s that?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cElectricity. Through you!\u201d replied GLaDOS as she commanded several Tesla Coils to spring up. I tossed Hiro into one of them. As he fried, I called Vorton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cX-PO, we have the cake!\u201d I called. \u201cGet us out of here!\u201d As the coils moved closer, I got more scared. \u201cX-PO!?!\u201d I shouted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou know, you\u2019re as bad as the Intelligence Dampening Core if you think this scares us!\u201d taunted Touch\u00e9. That did it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI AM NOTHING LIKE THAT MORON!\u201d screeched GLaDOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYES, YOU ARE!\u201d roared Touch\u00e9. \u201cYOU\u2019VE HAD WHEATLEY ATTACHED TO YOUR MAIN BODY FOR SO LONG THAT YOU BECAME AN IDIOT!\u201d The portal opened beneath us. \u201cBYE-BYE, YOU SPARK SHOWERING EXCUSE FOR MICROCIRCUITRY!\u201d As we tumbled, the Tesla coils turned off, letting Proto-Rift off and allowing him to detransform. He roared to the heavens and got a ride back home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
