\u201cWell, it couldn\u2019t hurt to have you here,\u201d replied Perceptor. \u201cIt could explode.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAre you counting on it?!\u201d yelped Ratchet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe power source IS a Chaos Emerald,\u201d answered Perceptor. \u201cWe may have miscalculated on a power transfer circuit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow can you be so nonchalant about a potential explosion?!\u201d cried Ratchet. \u201cSometimes I wonder if you need to retire!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, yes, I\u2019ll get right on that,\u201d dismissed Perceptor, not paying attention to what Ratchet said. \u201cAll right, three! Two! One!\u201d The machine started glowing! Sparks were prevalent around the exterior! And then\u2026it just made a sad pop before powering down. First, Ratchet poked his head from behind the blast screen, then Perceptor, and finally, Tails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026I guess\u2026we overprepared,\u201d mused Tails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t understand!\u201d cried Perceptor. \u201cThe theory holds! Chaos Energy mixed with Cybertronian technology should provide a stable output!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy don\u2019t we take a break?\u201d suggested Tails. \u201cWe need to unwind for a bit and get some fresh ideas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI guess so,\u201d sighed Perceptor. \u201cI wonder how Optimus and the Witches are getting on?\u201d At that point, there was an explosion and an imprint of an upside-down Optimus appeared in the wall. \u201cNever mind,\u201d mumbled Perceptor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll get him off,\u201d groaned Ratchet. As he walked away, Tails ran his hands over his face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI told Optimus that the De-Roboticizer was more than sufficient!\u201d he muttered. \u201cIt restored Mobians in the past without the use of magic!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, we need options,\u201d argued Perceptor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut, MAGIC?!\u201d protested Tails. \u201cI would never say this to any of our magic-wielding friends, but the engineer in me is disappointed and finds magic to be a cheater\u2019s method.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ve heard worse on Cybertron,\u201d called Optimus\u2019 voice as he and Ratchet passed them on their way to the Med-bay. Tails gulped and nervously looked to the ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt was nice of you to show me around,\u201d remarked Cyber-Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs you have mentioned the past few days,\u201d grumbled Metal Sonic, irritation creeping into his voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been going over the staff here to jog my memory,\u201d continued Cyber-Sonic, unaware of Metal\u2019s emotional state. \u201cAlthough, I HAVE noticed a discrepancy. Actually, make it three.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd those discrepancies are?\u201d asked Metal in a noncommitted manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThree of the bots here are missing. Decoe, Bocoe, and Bokkun,\u201d explained Cyber-Sonic. Metal idly looked up the staff manifest and found their schematics. His interest was piqued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ve never heard of those units,\u201d he muttered. \u201cExcuse me.\u201d He headed off to Eggman\u2019s office. He keyed in his access code and indicated he was alone. The doors then opened and he could see Eggman talking to Megatron\u2019s holo-form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSomething I can help you with?\u201d asked Eggman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCyber-Sonic was going through the bot manifest,\u201d explained Metal, \u201cand discovered three bots I\u2019m not familiar with. I believe their names were Decoe, Bocoe, and Bokkun. I haven\u2019t seen them around the place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Regrettably,\u201d growled Eggman as he glowered at Metal, \u201cDecoe, Bocoe, and Bokkun are dead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI see,\u201d replied Metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cyber-Sonic decided to content himself with a little Emerald search. As he scanned, a pair of blips appeared on his scanners. They faded for a while. \u201cI must be seeing things,\u201d he mumbled. The blips came back and kept flashing at a steady pace. \u201cThen again!\u201d yelped Cyber-Sonic. He then called the main monitor room. \u201cSoundwave! I found two energy signatures! They\u2019re moving! I think the enemy is setting up a trap!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLaserbeak\u2019s just reported in!\u201d called Soundwave. \u201cIt looks like it\u2019s the last two Emeralds! Megatron\u2019s sending us out! You ready to stomp some bad guys?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet\u2019s stomp bad guys!\u201d cheered Cyber-Sonic. A Ground Bridge opened and Cyber-Sonic went through. He met with Soundwave and Laserbeak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet\u2019s do this thing!\u201d called Soundwave. \u201cLaserbeak, where the Bots at?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey’re not Autobots,\u201d reported Laserbeak. \u201cThey’re robots of Eggman’s design.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDescribe them,\u201d directed Cyber-Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe wee one is navy blue with a big yellow M on its waist, has yellow optics, and a set of horns,\u201d described Laserbeak. \u201cThe tallest bot is yellow, skinny, and is angular with a long head. The fat bot is silver with a round appearance. All three of them are humanoid in some fashion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI know them!\u201d yelped Cyber-Sonic. Soundwave looked a little worried. \u201cI found schematics on them,\u201d explained Cyber-Sonic. \u201cThe small one\u2019s Bokkun, the tall one is Decoe, and the fat one is Bocoe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOch aye,\u201d mused Laserbeak, \u201cbut the fact remains, they aren\u2019t Autobots.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet\u2019s go talk to them,\u201d offered Cyber-Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah, maybe we can get some info from them,\u201d replied Soundwave. \u201cLaserbeak, return.\u201d Laserbeak came up in his personal jet-glider alt-mode. His holo-form was riding on top. The holo-form disappeared and Laserbeak went into Soundwave\u2019s backpack. Soundwave and Cyber-Sonic then approached the trio. \u201cDUDES!\u201d called Soundwave. \u201cWhat brings you bots here?\u201d The trio turned to see them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho are you?!\u201d asked Bocoe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think they are Eggman\u2019s,\u201d gulped Decoe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEr, dude, don\u2019t you use contractions?\u201d asked Soundwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd Soundwave is from Cybertron, not Mobius,\u201d answered Cyber-Sonic. The three then looked at Cyber-Sonic in horror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSonic!\u201d breathed Bokkun. \u201cHe\u2019s dusted off the Roboticizer!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will get you back!\u201d urged Decoe. \u201cI promise!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat are you talking about?!\u201d yelped Cyber-Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDecoe, Bocoe, get the Emeralds back to base!\u201d ordered Bokkun. \u201cWe\u2019ll transmit our message when we get there!\u201d He then took a small TV set out of his satchel. \u201cHere\u2019s a message for you from the Radniks!\u201d he said before he tossed the TV. Soundwave caught it and examined the picture. It showed a comedic version of Bokkun\u2019s head sticking his tongue out and then a cartoon bomb with the fuse having rapidly vanished. Once the fuse was gone, the TV exploded in Soundwave\u2019s face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSOUNDWAVE!\u201d cried Cyber-Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
