\u201cWHO?!\u201d cried Metal once he, Megatron, and Eggman heard Soundwave\u2019s report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s already repeated himself three times over,\u201d hissed Megatron. \u201cI do NOT require Soundwave to repeat it a fourth time. Soundwave, what were those three doing there?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey were after the last Emeralds,\u201d explained Soundwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo a third party has the blue and white Chaos Emeralds,\u201d mused Megatron. \u201cI see. Excuse me. Eggman, Metal, and I have business to attend to.\u201d He led them out of the room and down an abandoned hallway. They then stopped. Megatron gave a small grin to Eggman, making the rotund dictator a bit spooked. Megatron then grabbed Eggman by the shirt and slammed him against the wall! \u201cI THOUGHT YOU SAID THEY WERE DEAD!!\u201d he roared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDead to my cause!\u201d replied Eggman. Megatron slammed him against the wall again and released him. \u201cThey left me as I built the prototype Orbot, fearing being scrapped.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd the current Orbot and Cubot?\u201d asked Metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey ARE scrap metal,\u201d assured Eggman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd you forgot about those three?!\u201d snarled Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey\u2019re just three bots,\u201d dismissed Metal. \u201cWhat damage can they do?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey know Sonic!\u201d answered Megatron. Eggman then saw the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey could jeopardize the whole plan!\u201d he gulped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRestoring Optimus\u2019 friend!\u201d replied Megatron, reinforcing Eggman\u2019s realization. \u201cWe MUST ensure that Sonic falls by Optimus\u2019 hand!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEr, my Lord,\u201d called Soundwave, \u201cyou may want to see this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPatch it through to here,\u201d ordered Megatron. A screen popped out of the wall as it showed Bokkun giving a speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd so,\u201d addressed Eggman\u2019s former messenger, \u201ca few weeks ago, Eggman allowed the Decepticons asylum from G.U.N., Sonic and his allies, and the Autobots. He\u2019s made an agreement with Megatron, the Decepticon leader. He would assist the Decepticons in conquering Mobius. In exchange, they would improve Eggman\u2019s technologies with their own.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
G.U.N was receiving the same call. \u201cThey\u2019ve both held up their ends of the agreement,\u201d continued Bokkun, \u201cbut, question: will Eggman consider those that are out of date? Answer: no. After we left, we found ourselves in a state of decay. We had even considered going back to Eggman, but it\u2019s been clear that he has little regard for past robots as they remind him of his numerous defeats at Sonic\u2019s hands. And, on that note, he\u2019s built a new Roboticizer with Decepticon technology, pointing it at Sonic! He now serves as Cyber-Sonic!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cyber-Sonic\u2019s optics went wide at the revelation. \u201cAnd, to make matters worse,\u201d hissed Bokkun, \u201cCyber-Sonic doesn\u2019t remember his friends! Whatever lies were given to him, he believes. \u2018Autobots are terrorists\u2019, \u2018Cybertron is dead\u2019, \u2018We have no Energon\u2019, \u2018You were built by us\u2019, and other such lies. Well, I may have been an enemy to him once, but not again. He won\u2019t be infected by Eggman and Megatron\u2019s lies anymore, not when my people, the Radniks, have the means to restore him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Autobots raised their brows when they heard that. \u201cWhile my team took the white and blue Chaos Emeralds,\u201d explained Bokkun, \u201canother team, led by a Burrobot called Grounder, raided an old outpost of Eggman\u2019s from the old days. In it was a backup storage for all Roboticized Mobians. In the event of an uprising, an unlikely scenario when Roboticized, Eggman would have used that backup to restore memories, albeit an altered version of them where they would believe they had joined Eggman willingly. That process was never perfected as the memories proved too solid to alter. Eggman had forgotten it over the years, a mistake on his part as Sonic\u2019s memories were sent to that backup.\u201d At that point, Bokkun held up a computer chip with the silhouette of Sonic\u2019s head embossed on it. \u201cThis is where his memories reside now. I intend to have it installed into Cyber-Sonic.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTeletraan, can you get confirmation on the attack on the old outpost?\u201d asked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCan do,\u201d confirmed Teletraan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAgent Rouge, get confirmation on that,\u201d ordered Commander Topaz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, Ma\u2019am,\u201d obliged Rouge as she got to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSoundwave, I require confirmation on that!\u201d demanded Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019ll have it,\u201d replied Soundwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAbby, I need confirmation on that attack!\u201d Aleena told her Chief of the Guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAt once, Your Majesty!\u201d answered Abby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is the first shot in the Radniks\u2019 war on Eggman and his allies!\u201d said Bokkun. \u201cYou\u2019ve heard me right, Eggman. The Radniks, all those robots you tossed aside, formally declare war on you! To any robot that wants a taste of freedom, I urge you, resist! Resist today! Resist tomorrow! Resist until Eggman and his allies answer for their crimes!\u201d Bokkun\u2019s transmission ended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Soundwave had sent all manner of robots to the outpost to confirm the attack. One of them found the computer core and sent the activity directly into his head. His optics went wide under his visor. Megatron, Eggman, and Metal appeared in the Command Center. \u201cIt\u2019s confirmed,\u201d gulped Soundwave. \u201cThe activity logs show that Sonic\u2019s memories were transmitted there, then copied over to another storage device.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBokkun intends to keep Sonic\u2019s friendship with Optimus alive,\u201d hissed Megatron. \u201cThat\u2019s why he picked that target!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMetal,\u201d ordered Eggman, \u201cdetail a squadron to find and eliminate the Radniks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll of them?\u201d asked Metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll of them!\u201d confirmed Eggman. \u201cEvery single traitor to our cause!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026That may take some time,\u201d mused Metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen I suggest you get started!\u201d snarled Eggman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy Lord,\u201d called Shockwave as she approached them, \u201cCyber-Sonic just stole the Chaos Emeralds and has made it into a tunnel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s heard the transmission!\u201d hissed Megatron. \u201cSoundwave, send Ravage after him. Tell him to retrieve Cyber-Sonic and bring him here. Damaged or not, it makes little difference, but he must be kept alive!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
