\u201cYour concern is noted, Ambassador,\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cBut, Megatron threw the whole diplomacy thing out the airlock. We\u2019re going through with the attack.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right,\u201d muttered Cosmo as she picked up a stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOn three,\u201d directed Optimus. \u201cOne. Two. THREE!\u201d Cosmo threw the stone at Megatron\u2019s head, making him dizzy for a minute. A perfect amount of time for Optimus to leap onto him like a wild lemur. The other Autobots attacked the rest of the Decepticons. Ultra Magnus dealt with Starscream, Prowl with Shockwave, Jazz with Soundwave, Ironhide with Thundercracker, Ratchet with Knock-out, Blackarachnia with Skywarp, Bumblebee with Frenzy and Rumble, Perceptor with Ravage and Ratbat, and Cliffjumper with Laserbeak and Buzzsaw. Sonic and his friends attacked Eggman\u2019s forces. Cliffjumper was NOT taking any chances. He fired on Laserbeak and Buzzsaw\u2019s means of flight to keep them on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat happened to striking only in self-defense?!\u201d snapped Laserbeak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the case of you Cons,\u201d replied Cliffjumper as he picked the two up, \u201cI prefer to strike first, strike fast, and strike hard!\u201d He bashed their heads together and threw them hard onto the ground. They weren\u2019t getting up anytime soon. He headed off to help Bumblebee who was having a little trouble with Frenzy and Rumble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSTAND STILL, YOU SPASTIC SHORTIES!\u201d shouted Bumblebee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, the short insults!\u201d chuckled Rumble. \u201cFrenzy, what does that say about him?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s got his own height issues and he\u2019s just lashing out at those weaker than him!\u201d laughed Frenzy. \u201cYou\u2019re a bully, you know that, Auto-boob?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd you\u2019re a pair of barely sentient drones!\u201d shouted Bumblebee. That did it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2026was that\u2026you called me?!\u201d snarled Rumble as he gripped his hammer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUh oh!\u201d gulped Frenzy. \u201cYou die-cast dolt! Nothing will chill him out now!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWHO\u2019S A DRONE?!\u201d roared Rumble as he slammed his hammer onto Bumblebee repeatedly. Bumblebee fell to the ground, battered and dented. \u201cPrepare to become one with the Allspark!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGET OFF OF HIM!\u201d shouted Cliffjumper as he fired his gun at Rumble. The gun fired some sort of gas at him. Rumble cleared it away and Bumblebee knocked him off. The blow caused Rumble\u2019s armor to shatter at the shoulder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRUMBLE!\u201d cried Frenzy as Rumble clutched his shoulder. He focused his rage on Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. \u201cOver-charged buffoons! You\u2019ll pay for striking my brother!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBeat it, pipsqueak!\u201d snarled Cliffjumper as he kicked Frenzy aside to smolder with his fellow cassettes. Frenzy soon checked Rumble over and decided he needed expert medical care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKNOCK-OUT! BOT DOWN!\u201d he shouted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019M A LITTLE BUSY HERE!\u201d replied Knock-out as he blocked a blow from Ratchet with his electro-staff. \u201cCome on, we\u2019re both medics here!\u201d he protested. \u201cYou and I are bound to do no harm!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDo no harm?!\u201d repeated Ratchet. \u201cYou have no right to say those words!\u201d He then went below Knock-out\u2019s belt! Knock-out went to his knees and dropped his staff. \u201cI believe you have some patients,\u201d joked Ratchet as he sped off to help Bumblebee. Jazz was dodging Soundwave\u2019s tendrils with a few Michael Jackson moves. He even leaned waaaaaay over!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMan, you ain\u2019t got nothing on me!\u201d called Jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd you think you got something on me, bro?!\u201d snapped Soundwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2018Bro\u2019?!\u201d laughed Jazz. \u201cDude, not even bros say \u2018bro\u2019!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd you would know?\u201d argued Soundwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m Praxian,\u201d replied Jazz. \u201cProwl can easily confirm what I\u2019m gonna say! Primus knew my people would go through more than a few struggles, so he gave us an extreme amount of cool to compensate while the rest of Cybertron got\u2026what\u2019s it called on this planet? Ah, yeah, \u2018white boy rhythm\u2019!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHEY!\u201d protested Optimus. That distraction gave Megatron the opening he needed to punch Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAt least I have better rhythm than Songbird did! She couldn\u2019t dance her way to a bar!\u201d shouted Soundwave. Jazz dropped the act and simply grabbed the tendrils on the next lash. He then spun Soundwave over his head and slammed him to the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat was my grandmother you insulted,\u201d snarled Jazz as he dusted himself off. Prowl was in a Cyber-ninjutsu stalemate with Shockwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou know, you COULD have just joined us!\u201d urged Prowl. \u201cWe would have helped you with your loss of Xitra!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou Autobots would have pried into my business,\u201d argued Shockwave. \u201cThe Decepticons know when to leave someone alone.\u201d Jazz then jumped in and kicked Shockwave in the head. As she tried to regain her orientation, Prowl delivered a punch to her gut. Jazz brought his nunchucks out and hit Shockwave repeatedly. She eventually fell. Prowl whistled, then offered a fist bump which Jazz reciprocated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet\u2019s go help Prime,\u201d suggested Prowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot a bad idea,\u201d agreed Jazz. As they headed off, Starscream was going at Ultra Magnus with his sword.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCome on, Starscream!\u201d taunted Ultra Magnus. \u201cI thought you were better than dat!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGet on to my level,\u201d laughed Starscream as he went into the air, \u201cand I\u2019ll show you who\u2019s superior!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow about you ALL watch it?\u201d called Perceptor. \u201cNow DANCE!\u201d He set his rifle to machine gun mode and fired at their feet. Ultra Magnus took the opportunity to swing his hammer into their sides. They all crumpled in a heap. \u201cDanke!\u201d bid Perceptor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJust something I read in a book,\u201d replied Ultra Magnus. He then called Ratchet over the comms. \u201cHow are the Stinger Brothers?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A genius in teleportation technology. I firmly believed that I was on the side of right, that is, until the Siege of Axiom Nexus. The Autobots were ordered to pull out and leave it to the Decepticons. I wasn\u2019t going to leave my wife and kids behind, but Zeta Prime himself dragged me away from the city. The casualty list included my entire family.\u201d Blackarachnia gasped. \u201cStarting to put 2 and 2 together? You\u2019d be the first Autobot to do so. When I was telling Zeta Prime off, he shrugged me off saying that their sacrifice was an acceptable loss in the grand scheme of things. When I protested further, he told me to keep my place and shut up. I fell into depression and drinking. I was about ready to kill myself until Jhiaxus himself came to me. I was about ready to shoot him, but he came unarmed and alone, genuinely wanting to hear me out. After some gentle convincing on his part, I told him everything. When I told him about my family dying, he handed me a hard copy of the orders he gave. An addendum was that any and all scientists and their families must be kept alive. The bot in charge didn\u2019t follow that, so he was executed. I was surprised that Jhiaxus, after all I heard about him, would dispense justice like that, but satisfied that their deaths were avenged. However, there WAS the matter of Zeta Prime\u2019s insult to their memory to consider. You know the story how a mole led Jhiaxus to Zeta Prime? You can guess who that mole was. In exchange for new armor and a position in the Decepticons, I told Jhiaxus where Zeta Prime would hole himself up. And, what do you know, I knew the access code to get in! So, with him good and dead, I was reformatted into a Seeker and became Skywarp, armed with the knowledge that it was best to laugh at the pain and hurt everyone who hurt you a thousand-fold!\u201d As Skywarp finished, Blackarachnia sat on a large stone for her to consider her opponent\u2019s words. Big mistake. Skywarp teleported behind her and slashed across her back. \u201cYou know what my motto became when I joined?\u201d quizzed Skywarp. \u201cStrike when the enemy isn\u2019t looking! Okay, so you made me confront my past again! Made me all emotional and stuff! Once this day is done, I\u2019m gonna cry myself to sleep on a bed made of victory!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHALT!\u201d commanded Perceptor as he came out of hiding and shot Skywarp. Ultra Magnus then swung his hammer into his sides and tossed him into the heap of smoldering Decepticons Knock-out was working on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMEDIC!\u201d called Ultra Magnus over the comms. Ratchet arrived in vehicle mode and transformed before he got to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGo help Optimus!\u201d he directed. \u201cI can take care of her!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGot it!\u201d said Ultra Magnus. While they headed to help Optimus, Sonic and his crew, including his new arrivals, Trema, Sira, Natalie, and Cosmo, tore through Eggman\u2019s forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI thought I\u2019d get a work-out,\u201d remarked Sira. \u201cI\u2019m still yawning!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m hardly sweating myself,\u201d replied Natalie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those subs will be destroyed if you don\u2019t pull them back! Trust me, it will serve you well in both the short and long run!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhy the long run?\u201d asked Optimus as he gave a silent transmission to the subs to halt their advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBecause the Nemesis<\/em> may be necessary to help you Autobots survive the threat in orbit!\u201d replied Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cErm, you mean the threat that\u2019s landing right now?!\u201d gulped Blackarachnia as she looked up. Everyone else followed suit to see a Quintesson warship pointing one of its ends to the ground and drilling into Mobius\u2019 crust until it reached the landing ramp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026No, I was referring to something else,\u201d answered Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat are the Quintessons doing on this planet?\u201d asked Skywarp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat are they doing on this side of the Neutral Zone?\u201d quizzed Cosmo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe\u2019re about to find out,\u201d answered Optimus as the ramp lowered and the hatch opened to reveal Judge Commodore Brinn flanked by two thuggish looking robots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd he\u2019s flanked by Sharkticons,\u201d sighed Prowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOptimus, I demand a word,\u201d snarled Brinn\u2019s face of Rage and Wrath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cJudge Brinn,\u201d called Optimus. \u201cOnce again, I find you on our side of the Neutral Zone. Explain yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDon\u2019t even TRY to play the victim here!\u201d Brinn spat, still using the angry face. \u201cWe\u2019re here to investigate YOUR aggressive charge across the Neutral Zone last month!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat do you mean OUR aggressive charge?\u201d demanded Optimus. The Quintesson ship then opened fire on all ground forces of both factions, allowing Brinn to escape and the ship to leave unmolested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAh well,\u201d sighed Megatron, \u201cyou win some, you lose some. Optimus then grabbed Megatron by the shoulders and got up close to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou better hope there ISN\u2019T a next time, Mister!\u201d he snarled. \u201cBelieve it or not, I have cut you a lot of slack when you attacked us! I even forgave you for roboticizing Sonic when I could have come down hard on you and Eggman, but those days are over!
