Megumi whirled around to see a muscular Japanese man with fearsome claws on his fingers, grey hair, and a long tail with oak leaf spines running from the tail\u2019s tip to the nape of his neck. Megumi recognized him instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGodzilla!\u201d she cheered. \u201cWhat brought you to this tournament?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI just wanted to see if you were fighting in it,\u201d replied Godzilla. \u201cWhether or not I qualify makes little difference to me now. I want to see how well you fight these days.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell then, put up your fists!\u201d challenged Megumi as she fastened her belt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVortex Driver!\u201d it called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m about to win this one!\u201d declared Megumi. \u201cHenshin!\u201d As she changed, Godzilla let off a challenge roar and charged at her, swinging wildly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…How did you know about that?\u201d demanded Optimus. Then, he realized it. \u201cWait a cycle, Moradelia said I was fighting…you\u2019re not Teletraan 1! You\u2019re Beatrice, the Golden Witch! This is the mental scrap, isn\u2019t it?!\u201d Teletraan\u2019s avatar cackled. As it did, it changed into a human woman with ginger blonde hair in a braided bun and adorned with a rose on the right side of the head. She had a long pipe in her hand and her piercing blue eyes penetrated Optimus\u2019 armor as she cackled. \u201cI fragging knew it!\u201d hissed Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re more perceptive to magic than my usual opponent!\u201d laughed the woman, Beatrice. \u201cIn any event, it\u2019s partial \u2018mental scrap\u2019, as you so eloquently put it. A version of hide-and-seek if you will!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJust peppered with illusions,\u201d muttered Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRight again!\u201d giggled Beatrice. \u201cCome and find me!\u201d She vanished from the screen in a shower of golden butterflies and cackled all the while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSlagging PIT! I HATE the mental scrap!\u201d swore Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou and me both, Prime!\u201d called the voice of his best friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat the…my castle?\u201d muttered Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cArsha?!\u201d yelped a voice. It was Domesta, her Genie maid. \u201cI thought you were in the Over-realm!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUNHOLY, FAT FLESH!\u201d screamed a voice with a robotic undertone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWHAT IN THE DEPTHS ARE YOU DOING IN MY BEDROOM?!\u201d roared another voice that was familiar to Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDADDY!\u201d she yelped. She dashed up to her parent\u2019s tower with Domesta trailing behind her. She stopped at her parent\u2019s room and saw a robot in priestly ornamentation swiping at her father, King Elgrad Royana. \u201cDADDY! THIS WAY!\u201d she called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cArsha?! What are you…?!\u201d spluttered Elgrad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll explain later, Daddy!\u201d replied Arsha as she summoned her armor and grabbed the robot priest, Priest 072486. She then pulled him out of the tower and onto the balcony. Priest 072486 then punched Arsha in the jaw, disorienting her enough to make her fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVICTORY! STEEL OVER SKIN!\u201d shrieked the Priest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIdiot! She did that numerous times when she was an adolescent!\u201d snapped Elgrad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cORGANIC LIES!\u201d accused Priest 072486.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot really!\u201d laughed Arsha. She was riding on a broom with a handlebar and footrest harness. \u201cCatch me if you can, you spark-showering excuse for micro-circuitry!\u201d she taunted as she flew towards the stables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSAY THAT TO MY FACE, YOU DEMON OF FLESH!\u201d roared the priest as he activated a jetpack and flew after her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c…Domesta,\u201d mumbled Elgrad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, Your Majesty?\u201d asked Domesta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Godzilla unleashed his atomic breath. \u201cOkay, important safety tip,\u201d she gasped to herself. \u201cDo NOT poke at Godzilla\u2019s bravery!\u201d She then got an idea. \u201cWell, I haven\u2019t used it much,\u201d she mused. She then drew out an i.d. tag and changed her own for it. She spun the wheel and activated the wardrobe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGodzilla Steel!\u201d announced the Vortex Driver as she gained additional armor based on the King of the Monsters. Godzilla stomped past the alley, looking for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI heard your belt!\u201d he roared. \u201cCome out and face me!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf you insist!\u201d whispered Royal as she dashed out of the alley and tripped him up with her new tail. Godzilla then swung his foot into her ankles and tripped her up. As he got up, he raised his foot over her head and brought it down. She grabbed it before it hit her head and flung him aside. Godzilla picked himself up again as Royal charged at him and punched him in the face! Godzilla shook his head and recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019ve clearly been fighting a long time,\u201d he rumbled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cComes with fighting Shocker Rift for five years,\u201d replied Royal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was going to forfeit if I faced her in the tournament anyway and deemed her strong enough to be a hero and, right now, she is. Thanks for considering me, but I\u2019m not accepting any more invitations to fight in this tournament.\u201d He then stomped home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMaybe I\u2019m your own mind trying to tell you something,\u201d answered Jazz\u2019s image, \u201cmaybe I\u2019m one of your weapons, but the signal\u2019s messed up with Beatrice\u2019s interference; or maybe I AM Jazz with secret psychic powers that you never knew about! Though, given who I am, that ain\u2019t likely.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead, it was a basement dwelling as a human male his size leveled a nerf gun at him. \u201c…Not what I was expecting,\u201d mumbled Optimus as he observed the human was pale, had dirty-blonde hair in a ponytail, and a bit of scruff on his chin and upper lip. He had a sour expression on his face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou can go now!\u201d warned the human. Optimus held his hands up as he backed off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSorry,\u201d he apologized as the human shut the door and reality returned to normal for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDumbaft!\u201d he hissed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJackhole!\u201d hissed Optimus once the door shut. He then got an idea. \u201cBoy, am I an idiot!\u201d he called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIs someone giving up?!\u201d cackled Beatrice\u2019s voice. \u201cCome on now, the game is just beginning!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRest assured, I\u2019m not giving up,\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cI know how to find you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh? And how, pray tell, did you compute that, machine?\u201d taunted Beatrice\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat proof do you have of that?!\u201d cackled Beatrice\u2019s voice. \u201cThe fact remains I cannot be found by your vaunted sensors!\u201d The area went red for a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA Red Truth, all right,\u201d chuckled Optimus. \u201cThen here\u2019s a Blue one for you: because it\u2019s in my head, reality is mine to alter!\u201d Just then, the area went blue and Beatrice\u2019s voice yelped in pain. Optimus found the source of the yelp in the server room and found Beatrice pulling a blue spear out of her rear end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow?!\u201d demanded Beatrice. \u201cMachines can\u2019t acknowledge that magic exists! Only those who can give credence to the Witches\u2019 side can use a Blue Truth!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLady, I was recently promoted to a full-fledged Wizard of the Red Order,\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cMagic exists in this universe!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVery well, then!\u201d hissed Beatrice. \u201cA magic duel it is!\u201d She then summoned towers that fired off streams of light!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDefendere!\u201d called Optimus as he cast a red barrier. The streams hit the barrier multiple times before shattering. When it did, Optimus fired from his gun. Beatrice split into golden butterflies and they flew to a spot in the air above the impact of Optimus\u2019 shots and reformed into Beatrice. Optimus charged a shot as Beatrice turned her pipe into a dueling sword and charged her own shot. Both then released their shots at the same time and created a magnificent explosion, knocking both of them out. When they opened their eyes, Moradelia was standing between them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arsha and Priest 072486 were still flying around the castle and shooting at one another. Arsha then pulled her broom straight up and the Priest followed her. She then abandoned her broom and dove straight at him, pushing him downwards and punching him repeatedly. They soon landed in the hay near the stables, making it explode and startling the horses. They picked themselves up and attacked, pushing each other outside and leaving the horses to gossip about what happened. \u201cGive up!\u201d bellowed Priest 072486. \u201cSteel over Skin!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ve heard that before from a robot that left us a while back!\u201d countered Arsha. \u201cShe lost that one!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe will triumph in the long run!\u201d argued Priest 072486. \u201cThe unholiness of flesh shall be purged!\u201d He then attacked with more punches, but Arsha countered with a direct knife-hand jab to his hip joint, rendering him unable to move. Just then, Rosadera appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere will be 32 competitors once all of them are decided,\u201d explained Death. \u201cThere will be two normal rounds, then the quarterfinals, then semifinals, then the final round and a round for the two losers of the semifinals to decide who will take Third Place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf one of us is going to keep the Master Wand out of enemy hands,\u201d declared Arsha, \u201cwe all need to get to the semifinals.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
