Vorton was taking a pounding from the combined might of Megatron, Dr. Borg, and Hiro\u2019s forces. Hiroki was trying to thin out the forces with the Virginia<\/em>. It made various passes at the Nemesis<\/em>, but couldn\u2019t reasonably scratch its shields. Still, Megatron saw it as an annoyance that needed immediate attention. \u201cHow effective will our weapons be on that ship?\u201d he asked Thundercracker at Tactical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTheoretically, we would obliterate it,\u201d replied Thundercracker, \u201cbut there\u2019s one flaw that ship is taking advantage of; it\u2019s too small for us to get a decent target-lock on it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDr. Borg is hailing us,\u201d called Soundwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPut it through,\u201d ordered Megatron. Dr. Borg came on screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m having Attack Wings 2 through 4 deal with that gnat buzzing around you,\u201d she answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cExcellent,\u201d praised Megatron. \u201cAnything I can do for you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere IS the matter of a shield generator that\u2019s exposed on the front-most ring of asteroids,\u201d mused Dr. Borg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGot that thing in our sights!\u201d called Thundercracker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen, by all means,\u201d declared Megatron. \u201cFire.\u201d Thundercracker unleashed a torpedo and reduced the shield generator to dust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…How is that possible?\u201d quizzed Dr. Borg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSir,\u201d called Thundercracker, \u201cenemy shield integrity has not made any significant decrease.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOptimus\u2019 doing, most likely,\u201d mused Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cNice tweaking of the shield generator code, Prime,\u201d praised Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, I WAS a data clerk before I got the Matrix,\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cI\u2019d be a fool if I didn\u2019t practice my skills.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShields are holding,\u201d reported Rusty. \u201c…Wait…we\u2019re being probed inside!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat?!\u201d yelped Megumi. Just then, an old Cyber-mite self-destructed. \u201cHiro must have left that when we had that exchange!\u201d growled Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cShield frequency retrieved!\u201d called the Communications Officer on the Dominus<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAlter our weapons to match that frequency!\u201d ordered Hiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWeapons adjusted!\u201d reported Tactical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFire!\u201d shouted Hiro. The enemy fleet fired on Vorton and managed to damage it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve figured out our shield frequency!\u201d called Rusty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re being boarded!\u201d reported the Brigadier. \u201cShocker Rift, the Seekers, and Jansha are flooding the Promenade!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh boy, this isn\u2019t as rosy as I remember,\u201d gulped a voice. Megumi turned to see…70-year-old Megumi!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMirai-Megumi!\u201d she breathed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI take it she\u2019s from your future?\u201d guessed Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe is,\u201d replied Megumi. \u201cShe\u2019s me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd I need to find Henry Zhou,\u201d explained Mirai-Megumi. \u201cWhere is he?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMedical ward,\u201d replied Megumi. Mirai-Megumi then looked around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m near enough to it,\u201d she declared before running off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWait, aren\u2019t you going to help?!\u201d called Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo, but I can get you one who can,\u201d replied Mirai-Megumi as she left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Not Dr. Zhou!\u201d groaned Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, I must say,\u201d gulped Jandro as he looked around the medical ward while Vorton shook from the weapons fire, \u201cI never expected to be at the center of a war zone again!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAny that I\u2019ve read about?\u201d asked Swalmu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Battle of Broken Tears,\u201d replied Jandro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was there as well!\u201d called Twaldar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe final battle of the War of Stars, ending the First Age of Unity,\u201d mused Swalmu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCould we save the nostalgia for later?!\u201d protested Agus. \u201cWe need to take command of the situation!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, we ARE Kamen Riders now!\u201d suggested Wilson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA capital idea, in my humble opinion!\u201d replied Jandro as they pulled out their Chronicle Drivers and fastened them to their waists. \u201cDr. Zhou, I trust you can heal us if things go awry?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s what I\u2019m here for,\u201d answered Henry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAh, there you are!\u201d called a voice. It was Mirai-Megumi. The men gawked at her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI knew humans age,\u201d gulped Twaldar, \u201cbut not that fast!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m not the Megumi from now,\u201d explained Mirai-Megumi. \u201cI\u2019m her at age 70.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…The future?!\u201d protested Twaldar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYep!\u201d confirmed Mirai-Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFirst we\u2019re crossing dimensions, now we\u2019re crossing timelines!\u201d snarled Agus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust ensuring the future plays out as it should,\u201d elaborated Mirai-Megumi as she pulled out a Chronicle Driver. \u201cLet\u2019s see,\u201d she mused. \u201cAh, yes, Sento-san gave Jandro, Agus, and Wilson theirs; Woz gave Swalmu and Twaldar theirs, so all that\u2019s left is you, Dr. Zhou.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Oh no, you don\u2019t!\u201d argued Henry. \u201cI\u2019m already tied up in medical duties!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShocker Rift has Daleks with them right now!\u201d replied Mirai-Megumi. \u201cThey\u2019re not too choosy about who they kill!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI hardly think that they\u2019ll bother killing us all if they need workers!\u201d countered Henry. \u201cBesides, my place is in an examination room, tending to patients!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou won\u2019t get that chance if you don\u2019t fight!\u201d insisted Mirai Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m a doctor, not a commando!\u201d declared Henry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEmily\u2019s a doctor,\u201d Mirai-Megumi pointed out. \u201cSo are Marshii and Ratchet. I see them on the battlefield right now.\u201d Henry looked outside and could, indeed, see Emily as Touch\u00e9 with Ratchet and Marshii holding off a boarding party making its way to the medical ward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…I\u2019m going to hate myself in the morning!\u201d groaned Henry as he took the belt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI knew you\u2019d make the right choice!\u201d cheered Mirai-Megumi. \u201cWell, sayonara, Minna-san!\u201d She then left the area through a time portal. When it shut, Henry fastened the belt to his waist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cChronicle Driver!\u201d it announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust follow our lead,\u201d advised Jandro as everyone took out their Armor Auto-bios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHenshin!\u201d they all called. They inserted their trinkets into the shelves and pressed them down into the Chronicle Drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOpen! Turn! Imagine!\u201d the belts called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Shroud of Cloak!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Venom of Tox!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Tail of Lash!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Fan of Nimbus!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Morningstar of Terra!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Grip of Canopy!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe What of What?!\u201d called Henry in confusion. His armor was simple in design and had a blue medical cross between the helmet\u2019s antennae.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI guess you are Kamen Rider Canopy,\u201d mused Cloak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…I guess it makes sense,\u201d mused Henry, Canopy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEXTERMINATE!\u201d called a familiar harsh, grating, metallic tone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA Droknar?\u201d asked Nimbus. \u201cI thought…\u201d What Nimbus thought was one of his world\u2019s sci-fi monsters rounded the corner and revealed itself to be the Dalek that gave the usual battle cry. \u201cOkay, that\u2019s not a Droknar,\u201d remarked Nimbus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe can discuss that later!\u201d declared Terra as he summoned his Morningstar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEXTERMIN…!\u201d The Dalek didn\u2019t get far as the Morningstar slammed into its casing and caved its side it, causing it to scream before dying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOkay, brutal,\u201d gulped Canopy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOver there!\u201d called a voice. Shocker Rift Combatmen swarmed the medical ward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDo you have an appointment?\u201d asked Canopy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGet them!\u201d called the Combatman leader. The Combatmen then swarmed the medical ward and attacked, knocking over various tools in the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOkay, no, destruction of a place of healing is NOT a thing I\u2019m putting up with today!\u201d snarled Canopy as he summoned a staff looking like Hermes\u2019 Caduceus staff and swung it onto the Combatmen. He then discovered how to convert it into a crossbow and fired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDamn spider-monkey!\u201d shouted a Combatman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m a Snub-nosed monkey!\u201d snapped Canopy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat do you call yourself?\u201d taunted another Combatman. \u201cKamen Rider Flea-picker?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cKamen Rider Canopy, actually,\u201d corrected Canopy. \u201cI\u2019ve got plenty of monkey business for you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Megumi had already changed into Royal and was helping in trying to clear the Gateway Room. Optimus and Arsha were involved as well. \u201cI must admit,\u201d called Optimus as he fired on the Daleks, \u201cI never thought I\u2019d believe in Vorton, much less fight for its freedom!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI never thought I\u2019d be in another world outside my own!\u201d replied Arsha as she tossed a Combatman aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFocus on the fight, you two!\u201d advised Royal. \u201cIf the shields around the Gateway Room fail…\u201d A Dalek shot a console. It exploded and the sound of shields being lowered echoed throughout the room. \u201cOh no!\u201d groaned Royal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe shields around the Gateway Room have lowered!\u201d called Dr. Borg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s our que to take the stage!\u201d declared Hiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou heard him!\u201d Megatron boomed at his troops. \u201cBeam us over!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cRoyal!\u201d warned Rusty as Megatron, Dr. Borg, and Hiro were beamed right into the Gateway Room. Megatron charged at Optimus and they got into a grapping match. Dr. Borg took to the air and fired magic blasts at Arsha. Hiro got out his phone, put his i.d. tag into it, keyed in a code, then thrust it in front of him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHenshin!\u201d he called. He then set it into the buckle and became Kamen Rider Rogue. \u201cKamen Rider Rogue! Stand and deliver!\u201d he announced as he drew his guns and converted them into sh\u014dt\u014d mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMegumi, we\u2019re being overrun!\u201d reported POmega as Royal and Rogue engaged in a sword duel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOrders, Ma\u2019am?!\u201d called the Brigadier. Royal looked around after shoving Rogue back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Computer, this is Megumi Hishikawa,\u201d she finally announced. \u201cInitiate Program: Hishikawa 1 Niner Alpha.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cProgram cannot be completed unless Richard Saunders authorizes the concurrence program,\u201d reported the computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat are you doing?!\u201d snarled Rogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRichard-chan,\u201d Royal called on the comms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGuard here,\u201d replied Richard\u2019s voice. From his response, he was Kamen Rider Guard again. \u201cDid I hear that right? You authorized half the…?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAuthorize the other half,\u201d ordered Megumi. \u201cIf they want Vorton so bad, they can have it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Computer,\u201d sighed Guard, \u201cthis is Richard Saunders. Initiate Program: Saunders 1 Niner Alpha.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cProgram completed and engaged,\u201d reported the computer. \u201cEvacuate Vorton immediately. All computer systems aside from life-support will self-destruct upon all members evacuating.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWHAT?!\u201d roared Rogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re having Vorton, not our intelligence!\u201d snarled Royal as the evacuation alarm sounded. Rogue charged wildly at her and attempted to take her head, but Royal blocked every blow. Just then, a red tendril intercepted a blow. Reb Rojam was on Vorton!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow did YOU get here?!\u201d demanded Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHiro sprung me and my DARLING hubby!\u201d replied Reb as she joined the fray. \u201cArsha, so DELIGHTFUL to see you again!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wish I could say the feeling\u2019s mutual!\u201d hissed Arsha. The three leaders held off the invaders as everyone evacuated through the Gateway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll members and allies are evacuated aside from three,\u201d reported the computer after five minutes had passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPrime, Arsha, you two first,\u201d directed Royal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat about you?!\u201d protested Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ll be all right! Go!\u201d urged Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPrime, I don\u2019t think she\u2019ll brook any arguments!\u201d insisted Arsha as she made her way to the Gateway. Optimus rolled his optics before he followed Arsha. Royal then managed to cancel her transformation and threw her crown into a console before leaving. The portal in the Gateway shut itself and electricity coursed through the machinery, leaving only life-support online. Rogue roared in frustration as the Decepticons activated lights hidden within their helmets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt looks like Program: 1 Niner Alpha was very thorough,\u201d mused Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd a very smart move on her part,\u201d praised Dr. Borg. \u201cShe had no intention of letting any of her group\u2019s intelligence fall into her enemy\u2019s hands. In all honesty, I\u2019d be a little disappointed if she didn\u2019t attempt to destroy her plans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, very well and good,\u201d interjected Reb, \u201cbut the fact is remains, our SACRED bargain is complete. You told me to help you take Vorton and my hubby and I did. Now, I need a way back to my crew, so FRAUGHT with worry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…A deal\u2019s a deal,\u201d sighed Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHold on, we need her!\u201d argued Rogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe really don\u2019t right now,\u201d dismissed Megatron. He turned to a Dalek. \u201cDoes our backup rift generator still work?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is still operational!\u201d replied the Dalek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSend Reb and her husband home,\u201d ordered Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI obey!\u201d replied the Dalek. As the Dalek scuttled off, Megatron knelt down and picked the crown out of the console.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs if the message couldn\u2019t be any clearer,\u201d he chuckled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat message?\u201d hissed Rogue as he canceled his transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMegumi declared her intention to return,\u201d explained Dr. Borg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Get weapons power online!\u201d barked Hiro to a Combatman. \u201cReturn shield power! I want our prize fortified!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

The people that evacuated had arrived at the new Castle Nerd Skull. They were catching their breath as the Riders powered down. Emily then got a notification on her phone. She looked it up and sighed happily. \u201cThe Virginia<\/em>\u2019s in Castle Nerd Skull\u2019s new hangar,\u201d she reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cExcellent,\u201d replied Megumi. \u201cAnd our backup systems?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll correct,\u201d replied Lukas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMegumi, your crown!\u201d yelped Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI left it behind on purpose, I promise you,\u201d assured Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe question remains, what now?\u201d asked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe throw the Ring into Mt. Doom, first,\u201d declared Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSauron wasn\u2019t on Vorton, though,\u201d remarked Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRing?\u201d asked Jandro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen the first Dark Lord, Morgoth, fell,\u201d explained Gandalf, \u201cSauron, his lieutenant, took his place and then disguised himself as Annatar, the Lord of Gifts. With his knowledge of craftsmanship, he counseled Elf smiths in creating Rings of Power. Three were given to the Elves, seven to the Dwarves, and nine were given to Men. In secret, he forged a master ring, the One Ring, and poured his very soul into it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOnly a last alliance of Elves and Men stopped him in his home of Mordor,\u201d continued Batman. \u201cThen-Prince Isildur then took up his father\u2019s broken sword and used it to get the Ring away from Sauron. It all could have been avoided if he threw it into Mt. Doom, but he didn\u2019t and it eventually was lost until Gollum picked it up, then lost it, then a Hobbit named Bilbo got it before, reluctantly, passing it on to Frodo at Gandalf\u2019s urging.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI take it, you did your research in your universe,\u201d mused Gandalf. \u201cThen, I presume you know how our story was supposed to go.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou were supposed to die during the battle with the Balrog,\u201d began Batman, \u201cthen Boromir should have died by Uruk Hai arrows while defending Frodo, then Frodo and Sam were supposed to reach Mordor alone while guided by Gollum while Merry and Pippen were taken by Saruman\u2019s forces. They then meet you resurrected in white robes, taking Saruman\u2019s place as you do now. Meanwhile, Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas pursued the Uruk Hai forces and found their bodies after men from Rohan killed them. Then they met you and you all went to Edoras to free King Th\u00e9oden from Saruman\u2019s control. You all then went to Helm\u2019s Deep and defended it while Fangorn Forest took care of the rest of the Isengard forces. While that happened, Saruman was held under siege at Orthanc from the Ents and Merry and Pippen. Both groups then reunited and then Pippen looked in the Palant\u00edr, seeing Gondor burning. You and Pippen then headed to Gondor to try and raise the defenses while Sauron sent his forces to siege it. Rohan was then convinced to aid Gondor and both armies drove back Mordor\u2019s soldiers while Sam and Frodo went deeper into Mordor. The armies of Men then marched onto Mordor to distract Sauron while Frodo destroyed the Ring and, as an accident, Gollum.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, Boromir died of three slashes from Kamen Rider Kiri,\u201d explained Gandalf. \u201cTh\u00e9oden is freed from Saruman\u2019s control and Merry and Pippen have, indeed, encouraged the Ents to take Isengard. The reason I did not die is because you and our friends first met me as Durin\u2019s Bane and I fell in Moria. The rest, I presume, everyone knows.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe all told our stories,\u201d replied Batman as he idly flicked a ring of gold into the air. \u201cThe chance to permanently finish Sauron\u2019s is right here.\u201d Everyone\u2019s eyes turned to the ring. Batman, satisfied that he got everyone\u2019s attention, held a lighter to the Ring and bathed it in the small flame for a few seconds before shutting the lighter off and letting the ring drop to the floor. It didn\u2019t even bounce, just landed with a thud. Megumi knelt down and picked up the ring. Fiery writing then appeared and Megumi\u2019s eyes went wider still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne ring to rule them all, One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them!\u201d she gasped. There, in her hands, was Sauron\u2019s greatest strength and weakness, the One Ring! \u201cSauron WAS on Vorton?! How did you get this off his finger?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWyldstyle built a sword based off of me,\u201d explained Batman. \u201cI used it to do as Isildur did. His armor collapsed, empty of anything or anyone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen we have a chance to destroy it!\u201d declared Megumi. \u201cWith the destruction of the Ring, Mordor will fall! With Mordor gone, Hiro\u2019s forces are reduced to two-thirds of their original might!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe\u2019s also getting help from my home,\u201d supplied Batman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
