While the chaos on the Dominus<\/em> unfolded, Optimus, Ultra Magnus, Arsha, and Discornia were moving towards the main factory. Optimus and Ultra Magnus changed their alt-modes to delivery trucks of Shocker Rift design and changed their holo-forms into Combatmen. Arsha and Discornia were wearing perception filters so they would look like Combatmen as well. Optimus and Ultra Magnus drove up to the entrance of the factory. They were stopped by a pair of guards. \u201cI don\u2019t remember seeing you two on the manifest,\u201d barked one of the guards. \u201cWhat\u2019s your intention here?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were on a supply run,\u201d explained Optimus. \u201cWe\u2019re carrying a shipment of Taraxium in our trailers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey,\u201d the other guard whispered to the first, \u201cHiro-sama DID say that there\u2019s a pair of truck out there getting Taraxium.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat run\u2019s not supposed to return until 5:00 tonight,\u201d replied the first guard. \u201cGet a search going.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSir, the Taraxium is urgently needed,\u201d urged Optimus. \u201cI would hate for you to explain to Hiro-sama why it was delayed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHiro-sama will understand in this instance,\u201d hissed the first guard. \u201cThere\u2019s chaos going on aboard the Dominus<\/em> now and he needs to focus on that. Directive 12, subsection 3: any and all deliveries during a crisis will be stopped and searched so all attempts at resistance will be curtailed.\u201d A Search Party arrived and the first guard laid out his instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is bad,\u201d gulped Arsha. \u201cIf they get too close, they\u2019ll know!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou there!\u201d called a voice both Autobots knew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd, of course, Megatron\u2019s here,\u201d groaned Optimus. Megatron stormed up to the guards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s going on?\u201d Megatron demanded of the guards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re searching these vehicles,\u201d explained the first guard. \u201cA supposed Taraxium delivery has arrived too early. I have reason to believe it\u2019s an attempt at resistance with all the chaos going on aboard the Dominus<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ll scan them, thank you,\u201d barked Megatron as he took out a scanner wand and tablet. He waved the wand over the two Autobots and the tablet flashed red. Megatron examined the readings a bit, then put the scanner away. \u201cLet them through,\u201d he ordered. \u201cThey ARE carrying Taraxium.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cExcuse me?!\u201d snapped the first guard. \u201cWe\u2019re supposed to…!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe cannot afford to delay the delivery, considering we\u2019re running low on Taraxium in the first place!\u201d countered Megatron. \u201cAll deliveries of Taraxium are given Alpha Priority, meaning nothing, not even a security check, must hinder them! Check what I said, if you must, but you are ordered to let them through! Is that clear?\u201d The guard checked, then blanched when he realized Megatron was right. He turned to Optimus and Ultra Magnus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMy apologies,\u201d he bid. \u201cI had no idea.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou were doing your duty,\u201d dismissed Optimus. \u201cForget about it.\u201d The guard waved Optimus and Ultra Magnus through and they headed to the loading bay. As they passed him, Megatron smirked. Optimus saw it in the rearview mirror. When they arrived, they helped unload the Taraxium and waited until the loading bay was cleared before dropping their disguises. The Autobots\u2019 returned to their Mobian vehicle modes and Arsha and Discornia took off their perception filters. \u201cHe knew,\u201d hissed Optimus as he and Ultra Magnus transformed to robot mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re sure?\u201d asked Discornia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPositive,\u201d insisted Optimus. \u201cHe\u2019s got a trap in mind.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, we can\u2019t afford to speculate so much,\u201d urged Ultra Magnus. \u201cWe have to free the rulers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCome on,\u201d directed Optimus. They snuck their way through the factories and found all the Master Builders toiling in chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust when I thought I wouldn\u2019t see this kind of barbarism,\u201d hissed Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis universe\u2019s Batman and Watevra Wa’Nabi must be around here somewhere,\u201d mused Discornia. \u201cIf we free them, the Master Builders may be inspired to revolt against Shocker Rift.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDid you say you were going to free Batman and Watevra Wa’Nabi?\u201d asked a voice. Everyone looked to see a dingy construction worker near them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEmmet, right?\u201d asked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s me, the Special,\u201d replied the construction worker, Emmet. \u201cListen, they\u2019re being held right above us!\u201d He pointed to the ceiling. Everyone looked to see that universe\u2019s Batman and an amorphous blob of pink, red, orange, and yellow with a feminine face held in a cage above the workers. \u201cOn top of that, we\u2019ve got termination implants in us! If we revolt, then we die!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe gotta find the counter frequency for the termination implants,\u201d muttered Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll I know is that any files related to that can be accessed from any console if you\u2019ve got the right codes,\u201d sighed Emmet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen stand aside,\u201d declared Optimus, \u201cand let me work!\u201d He connected to a console and began his work. It took a good while before Discornia cleared her throat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis IS taking a while!\u201d hissed Ultra Magnus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDon\u2019t rush me, guys!\u201d whispered Optimus. \u201cYou rush a coder; you get rotten work! …Wait, I got it! …It looks like the termination implant frequencies vary from division to division. I found the frequency for you guys…and the Decepticons…and Dr. Borg and her gang? Hiro\u2019s enslaved them?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo, what do we do?\u201d asked Ultra Magnus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…I got it,\u201d declared Optimus. \u201cThat\u2019s why Megatron wanted us to go through. He knew I could free him. Got the counter frequency for those types of implants…let\u2019s see, first some Navajo, then a little Ig-pay Atin-lay…\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe call that Boar Fae,\u201d giggled Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd now, since Megatron was an Autobot before,\u201d continued Optimus, \u201ca little Autobot Military…now to press send…he\u2019s got it! Now to free everyone else!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat in the…?\u201d muttered Megatron when he opened the message and translated the Autobot Military. \u201c…What kind of words…? Eshklay ehdzay a-keh-di-gliniyay ehdzay esh-cheenay a-wohyay oe-ihglay o-chintlay a-emay e-ahs-jahnay o-da-ihnay ah-loszyay a-wohyay oe-ihglay e-ahs-jahnay a-wohyay oe-ihglay o-chintlay a-wohyay e-gahtsay ah-nes-tsaday ah-nahyay ehdzay a-e-donin-eetsay a-chiyay a-keh-di-gliniyay ehdzay eshklay ehdzay a-keh-di-gliniyay ah-nahyay ahtsay ah-jahyay intkay ah-tadyay e-gahtsay an-ziethay an-ziethay oe-ihglay a-khayay o-chintlay ahtsay ah-jahyay ibehday intkay al-na-as-dzoh…oh, Ig-pay Atin-Lay. Then that makes it… klesh dzeh a-keh-di-glini dzeh…Oh, Navajo…aha, the Counter Frequency! Now to apply it…7, 2, 4, 2, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 2, 1, 6…termination implant disabled! Thank you, Prime! …I can\u2019t believe I said that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMaster Builder termination implants…disabled!\u201d reported Optimus. \u201cNow, to do something that will sound the alarm!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Prime, no!\u201d begged Ultra Magnus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPRIME, YES!\u201d cheered Optimus as he leapt up to the cage, broke it open, got Other Batman and Watevra Wa’Nabi out, and landed in the middle of the factory floor. \u201cMASTER BUILDERS, I HAVE SECURED FREEDOM FOR YOU!\u201d he announced. \u201cYOU CAN NOW ESCAPE WITH US!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo, they won\u2019t!\u201d called a Combatman. \u201cThey revolt; their termination implants kill them!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTry it,\u201d challenged Optimus. \u201cI already sent the counter frequency to their implants!\u201d The Master Builder became a little more hopeful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA bluff,\u201d scoffed the Combatman as he pressed a button. …Nothing happened. \u201cWhat the?!\u201d spluttered the Combatman. \u201cSomething\u2019s wrong!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTold you!\u201d taunted Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIs Prime always like this?\u201d Arsha quizzed Ultra Magnus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFrequently,\u201d he sighed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGET THEM!\u201d called Other Batman. The Master Builders then went on the attack! Constructing various weapons out of any object they could find, they managed to overpower the Combatmen. The enemy fled and Optimus led everyone out of the factory…at least, part of the way. He stopped everyone when he heard a voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wonder what the alarm is all about?\u201d called the voice in mock ignorance. Optimus deployed his battle mask as the source of the voice rounded the corner. Everyone leveled their weapons at the speaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re coming closer to being shot, Megatron,\u201d warned Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wanted to make sure that nothing happened to this universe\u2019s Batman and Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi,\u201d replied Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHoping, no doubt, that your \u2018concern\u2019,\u201d hissed Ultra Magnus, \u201cwould curry a political favor with them?\u201d Megatron dropped the act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI suppose YOUR reasons for coming here,\u201d he hissed, \u201care motivated STRICTLY by patriotism to your Prime?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI can assure you, I\u2019m well aware of Ultra Magnus\u2019 patriotism,\u201d snarled Optimus, \u201cand the sacrifices he\u2019s made and continues to make so peace can be achieved once more! So, why don\u2019t you go back to Hiro and…play butler?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBecause the remaining Combatmen are deploying mechs,\u201d replied Megatron. \u201cYou WILL need my help in getting around them. It\u2019s only fair since you freed me from slavery. Who would have thought that all three Pax brothers would be fighting side…\u201d he joined Optimus and Ultra Magnus and pointed his fusion cannon down the hall, the same direction as Optimus\u2019 firearm, \u201c…by side?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Just remember,\u201d warned Arsha, \u201cwhen you fire that thing, you\u2019re aiming it at one of the supposed mechs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ll try to keep that in mind, Your Highness,\u201d chuckled Megatron. \u201cFor now, we must leave.\u201d Megatron led everyone to the factory\u2019s main outdoor yard and met with Combatmen and the mechs Megatron had warned everyone about. The battle really got heated as everyone fought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI must say, I find combat quite distasteful!\u201d called Arsha as she summoned a fireball and flung it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI suppose you prefer the simplicity of a ball!\u201d snarled Megatron as he ran his sword through a mech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have to admit, that sounds a lot more civilized!\u201d remarked Optimus as he fired on a few more mechs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEyes upwards!\u201d called Discornia as she pointed out multiple objects dropping from the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMissiles?\u201d gulped Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo, escape pods from the Dominus<\/em>,\u201d remarked Megatron. \u201cI take it the chaos on that ship was a diversion for something?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll find out later,\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cFor now, we need another ship.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDid someone say they need a ship?!\u201d asked a man in a blue astronaut suit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe do,\u201d answered Arsha. \u201cGot one in mind?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always wanted to build this particular ship!\u201d cheered the astronaut. He then got busy using the factory and mechs to make the ship. \u201cSpaceship! Spaceship!! SPACESHIP!!\u201d called the astronaut. As the ship was being built, Guard and his teammates ran up to everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNeed a hand?\u201d asked Guard. He then spotted Megatron. \u201cPrime, stand real still! I\u2019ll get him!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe\u2019s helping us get past the mechs!\u201d yelped Optimus. \u201cDon\u2019t shoot him yet!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou DO know who that is, right?\u201d asked Guard. \u201cYou know he\u2019s committed a few atrocities, yes?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYour FACE committed a few atrocities!\u201d hissed Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Wow, Prime, really?\u201d remarked Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSadly, he\u2019s still not the best at insulting his friends,\u201d remarked Ultra Magnus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo sad,\u201d sighed Megatron. He and his temporary allies then noticed the shadow that loomed over everyone and gazed upwards. \u201c…No…not HIS ship!\u201d Everyone turned their heads up and goggled. Optimus and Guard were grinning beneath their facial protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA Constitution<\/em>-class starship!\u201d cheered Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLook at the registry!\u201d called Richard. \u201cNCC-1701! No A, B, C, or D!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe\u2019s magnificent!\u201d Optimus replied in a reverent whisper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy Kirk\u2019s Enterprise<\/em>?!\u201d protested Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c17 separate temporal violations,\u201d muttered Sh\u2019Kar. \u201cThe biggest file the Department of Temporal Affairs has in their records. A menace to both the Federation and the Klingon Empire.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAgain, why that ship?\u201d asked Megatron. He was then decked in the face by Optimus and rendered unconscious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cArk,<\/em> are all the Master Builders clear?!\u201d called Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll Master Builders clear,\u201d replied Prowl\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen we gotta get out of here!\u201d declared Richard. \u201cTeletraan, can you take control of the Enterprise<\/em>?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAlready hooked up,\u201d answered Teletraan. \u201cThe Enterprise<\/em> will follow until Discornia takes control.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDiscornia, I must ask one last time,\u201d urged Guard, \u201care you ABSOLUTELY sure?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am prepared to cover the retreat,\u201d replied Discornia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a suicide run,\u201d warned Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am prepared,\u201d insisted Discornia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen we have nothing more to say,\u201d sighed Guard. Just then, he gasped as it felt like the air was pushed out of his lungs. A Combatman had stabbed him in the back! The Combatman then yanked the knife out as Guard\u2019s transformation was cancelled and he slumped to his knees as blood came down Richard\u2019s back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVIRGINIA<\/em>!\u201d shouted Batman as he applied pressure to the wound. \u201cMEDICAL BEAM OUT DIRECTLY TO SICK BAY!\u201d Everyone was transported and arrived on their respective ships. Emily just entered Sick Bay and assessed the situation in a second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGET HIM ON THAT TABLE! FACE DOWN!\u201d she ordered. Batman did so and Emily got her surgical instruments while preparing the scanner. \u201cNot good! It looks like whatever stabbed him hit his lung! I have to…what the? Batman, are YOU seeing this?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe wound healing almost instantaneously?\u201d asked Batman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow I wish you DIDN\u2019T see it,\u201d muttered Emily. \u201cI would have been assured I was going crazy right then!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOw,\u201d groaned Richard. \u201cIs the anesthesia wearing off now?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRichard…I don\u2019t know how to tell you this,\u201d gulped Emily, \u201c…er, you know Wolverine and Deadpool\u2019s healing factor?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…What about it?\u201d asked Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI think you\u2019ve got it,\u201d replied Emily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Are you SURE your medical degree came from an accredited university?\u201d asked Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYour wound just closed itself,\u201d supplied Batman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s impossible!\u201d argued Richard. \u201cI felt the knife hit my back!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd it pierced your lung,\u201d Emily went on, \u201cbut the lung healed, the skin healed with no scar tissue, and I didn\u2019t even use my scalpel. It healed itself in a matter of seconds.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut…how…?\u201d muttered Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m gonna need to ask you to stay here so I can examine you,\u201d directed Emily. \u201cI wanna know how you survived that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
