\u201cI find that males and females both function better when both are treated as equals,\u201d called Amavorte\u2019s voice. She was right behind the Appoplexian fanning Phury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDo you NEED to do that?!\u201d snapped Phury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChizarans prefer to be unexpected in some capacity,\u201d replied Amavorte. \u201cYour opponent is ready.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs am I,\u201d purred Phury. Yellow-green light enveloped the two ladies and they appeared in After Academy\u2019s gym. Megumi had exchanged her usual outfit for workout clothes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI hope you\u2019re ready to answer for your men\u2019s crimes,\u201d growled Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re the one who has committed a crime against one of my men,\u201d hissed Phury, \u201cthus insulting me.\u201d The two ladies took their places on opposite corners of the ring and Megumi turned into Tora-Onna. Amavorte took to the center of the ring as a camera appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am Amavorte,\u201d she announced, \u201cthe yellow-green princess of Chizara and the earth leader. Representing her new home of 8-3-Y-0-N-D-C-1-T-Y and a permanent student of the multiverse\u2019s leading educational institute, After Academy, we have Megumi Hishikawa with home-turf advantage! Representing G-W-3-N-1-0, we have Queen Phury of Appoplexia! This bout is a test of physical strength. Both of them will fight in this ring until one of the opponents is thrown out of the ring. No weapons may be used and Megumi must stay in her currently fuzzy state as Tora-Onna. Tora-Onna, are you ready?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet me at her!\u201d growled Tora-Onna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cQueen Phury, are you ready?\u201d asked Amavorte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAlways. That\u2019s a female Appoplexian\u2019s default,\u201d purred Phury. Amavorte then swung her hand down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHajime!\u201d (Begin!) she announced as she teleported out of the ring. The yellow-green flash distracted Tora-Onna just enough to allow Phury to slam her fist into Tora-Onna\u2019s face. Tora-Onna was rendered dizzy by the punch and couldn\u2019t regain her vision fast enough. Phury kept punching her opponent at every available open spot before flooring her. Phury stomped over to Tora-Onna, ready to pick her up and throw her out of the ring, when Tora-Onna caught Phury\u2019s foot as it was coming down and pushed it up, causing Phury to fall and hit the floor hard. Tora-Onna then flung her opponent headfirst into the pole holding the ropes, making Phury just as dizzy as Tora-Onna was. Unfortunately, Phury recovered quickly and grabbed Tora-Onna\u2019s hand and flung her over the ropes! Tora-Onna hit the floor hard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMEGUMI!\u201d called Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNO!\u201d shouted Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat can\u2019t be legal!\u201d protested Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYOU defeated Vortech?\u201d scoffed Phury as Tora-Onna picked herself up and turned back into Megumi. \u201cYou must have relied on your minions too much.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey\u2019re not my minions!\u201d hissed Megumi. \u201cThey\u2019re my friends! My power!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd your weakness, if the rumors about you going against War are any indication,\u201d purred Phury. \u201cAmavorte, I don\u2019t believe there was a round limit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo, that wasn\u2019t agreed upon,\u201d sighed Amavorte. \u201cIt\u2019s understood that you only needed one round. This contest is over. The winner is…!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSTOP!\u201d shouted a voice. Angarr stormed in, madder than ever. \u201cPHURY, I OUGHT TO SHRED YOUR CLOTHES, YOU SAND-COVERED CHEATER!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI beg your pardon!\u201d snarled Phury. \u201cWhat did you call me?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…I shall have to obtain the warrants for both,\u201d replied Amavorte, \u201cbut I believe that you\u2019re speaking as a woman with nothing to hide. That doesn\u2019t mean you are exempt, but I believe your words.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMegumi,\u201d stammered Phury, \u201cI think it best for both of us if I go with you. I formally request asylum.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI will certainly grant you asylum,\u201d answered Megumi, \u201cwhen you have been absolved of this crime.\u201d She headed to the locker room to change back into her dress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe nerve of her!\u201d snarled Richard. \u201cAccusing you of drug-usage! I ought to smack her! I\u2019ll declaw her, that\u2019s what I\u2019ll do!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe best way to disgrace an Appoplexian, from what I\u2019ve read,\u201d mused Megumi, \u201cis to destroy their clothes. Appoplexians consider their sense of shame to be the most highly advanced in the universe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every nook and cranny was checked and rechecked ten times over with Megumi and Richard watching them closely in case someone decided to plant evidence. There was another knock on the door. \u201cNow who could that be?\u201d asked Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHopefully, Amartonadii with Megumi\u2019s drug test results,\u201d replied an officer. Another officer opened the door and it was Amartonadii as predicted. \u201cWell?\u201d asked the first officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot even a milligram of any drug of any kind,\u201d reported Amartonadii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe haven\u2019t found anything that would implicate her either,\u201d answered a third officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re done here,\u201d called the first officer. \u201cClean this place up.\u201d The Chizaran officers and Amartonadii snapped their fingers and the house looked as it did before the officers searched the place. \u201cThank you for your cooperation,\u201d bid the first officer as everyone left in both yellow and yellow-green lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGoddamn, having your house searched is tense, even when the officers are good and you\u2019re innocent!\u201d shuddered Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation had ended and Amavorte had called both Phury and Megumi to the ring in After Academy\u2019s gym. She paced in front of the pair of them. \u201cI suppose you know the warrants authorized us to check other records as well,\u201d she began. Both Megumi and Phury nodded. Phury had a smug look on her face for some odd reason. \u201cBoth of your records say that neither of you purchased any form of drugs. Megumi, I believe your records are accurate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs are mine,\u201d chuckled Phury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNormally, I WOULD believe that,\u201d hissed Amavorte. \u201cI would say your records were accurate…if they didn\u2019t have evidence of Galvan levels of TAMPERING!\u201d Phury gasped when she realized she was found out! \u201cPHURY OF APPOPLEXIA, ANGARR WAS RIGHT!
