250 years had passed. Megumi and Richard just woke up for a new day. She had become the Champion of the 591,001st<\/sup> 3V2R and won an artefact called the Central Stone, a rock that can give the user any power they want. Like the Master Wand, it was locked away to keep anyone from misusing it. Her daughters had just gotten up and put their Chizara University uniforms on. Unlike After Academy, Chizara University had seventeen houses, each one named after the respective colors of the princesses. Kaitlyn was in House Pink while Kaede was in House Yellow-green. Megumi and Richard were still in their pj\u2019s as they shuffled to the table. Lisa had already begun plating up breakfast. \u201cGood morning!\u201d she cheered. \u201cDawn smiles on us and we are blessed!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDawn who?\u201d mumbled Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRough night?\u201d guessed Lisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe didn\u2019t get much sleep last night,\u201d muttered Megumi. \u201cWhat with a certain Morphus Tarantula scuttling in her lair and bumping against the glass last night!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDid you have a boy over for dinner?\u201d snarked Kaede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou heard us?\u201d winced Lisa as she finished handing out everyone\u2019s meal and set herself down. \u201cSorry, I thought we were being quiet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust tell us when you have someone over,\u201d directed Megumi. \u201cSo, who was he?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHis name is David and he\u2019s so dreamy!\u201d sighed Lisa happily as she blushed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Is?\u201d quizzed Kaitlyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe\u2019s still alive?\u201d asked Kaede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat kind of question is that?!\u201d protested Lisa. \u201cFemale Morphus Tarantulas don\u2019t eat their mates or failed suitors!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…You ate the boy tarantula I got for breeding purposes during the 3V2R,\u201d recalled Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, it was an animal, WE\u2019RE people,\u201d declared Lisa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOkay then,\u201d muttered Megumi as she sipped her tea. They soon finished breakfast and Kaede and Kaitlyn grabbed their bookbags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll see you this afternoon!\u201d called Kaede. They hopped onto a transport pad, keyed in a command, and shimmered out of the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo, what are you going to do?\u201d Richard asked Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOptimus and I will be wandering over to Arsha\u2019s place,\u201d mused Megumi. \u201cWe\u2019re gonna be discussing the situation with Shocker Umbra. What about you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou know, same old newscast,\u201d muttered Richard. \u201cI swear, I need an adventure to stave off the boredom. 271 years and I still get bored.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe curse of us immortals,\u201d replied Megumi. They changed into their outfits after the discussion. \u201cSee you later,\u201d bid Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBye, sweetie,\u201d returned Richard as they kissed. Megumi then walked off to the park and met with a much-older looking Optimus and Arsha. They both had halos on their foreheads, meaning that they entered Beyond City after they died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWelcome, Megumi,\u201d Optimus rumbled in a new, deeper voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey, Megumi!\u201d called Arsha before her back cramped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey, are you okay?\u201d asked Megumi as she helped Arsha to a seat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCouldn\u2019t the aches and pains have just stayed back home?\u201d grumbled Arsha. \u201cThat\u2019s it, I\u2019m gonna accept a regeneration.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI might do the same,\u201d mused Optimus. \u201cCan\u2019t fight Shocker Umbra with a bad back. Besides, I miss my old frame.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re still powerful-looking, I promise you,\u201d assured Megumi. \u201cSpeaking of Shocker Umbra, what did you guys hear?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe rumors about them conning the Generation Riders are right,\u201d rumbled Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLooking for someone to do their dirty work!\u201d growled Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, that\u2019s where we come in!\u201d declared Megumi. \u201cTell you what, let\u2019s get you guys back into younger bodies and then we\u2019ll stop Shocker Umbra, all right?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSounds good to me!\u201d answered Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTime to say goodbye forever to grey hair and wrinkles!\u201d agreed Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen let\u2019s get to it!\u201d called Megumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet\u2019s roll out!\u201d announced Optimus. His forearms folded up to the shoulders, then both arms came together with the elbows touching and forming the nose of a futuristic truck. His head slid into the chest as his legs came together and swung up behind him to form the trailer bed as panels attached themselves to the top of the cab, making his new alt-mode a Mobian tractor trailer. His holo-form was an older looking hedgehog without the Matrix necklace he once had. Megumi and Optimus helped Arsha in, then Megumi came into the cab and shut the door so Optimus could drive off. The three friends were still thick as thieves and ready to clobber evil!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes when your hopes have all been shattered,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there’s nowhere to turn,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
