Blackarachnia looked down to the floor to see Optimus trying to free himself from a trap line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI like some of her music,\u201d replied Blackarachnia, giggling at Optimus\u2019 attempt to break free. She dropped down from a line like Spider-man and kissed him while she was upside down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cEr, mind letting me out of here?\u201d asked Optimus. Blackarachnia giggled, then sprayed something on Optimus\u2019 armor, allowing him to escape the trap line and letting him slide through the others. She set herself onto the floor, then wrapped her arms around Optimus\u2019 shoulders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDo you mind helping me clean my lair?\u201d she requested. \u201cI could use a big, strong mech like you.\u201d She then batted her optics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAll right,\u201d replied Optimus. The embrace broke and they headed off to organize the lair. Optimus found a box and managed to see the contents. \u201cLegs,\u201d he called to Blackarachnia, \u201cwhen did you become a fan of Sailor Moon<\/em> and why do you have so much Sailor Moon<\/em> junk?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI CAN QUIT WHENEVER I WANT!\u201d snapped Blackarachnia. \u201cGET BACK TO WORK!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFine, addict!\u201d snarked Optimus. As he moved the box to another location, he noticed a teal glow. \u201cEr, Lieutenant, what\u2019s glowing in your room?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat color is the glow?\u201d called Blackarachnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTeal,\u201d replied Optimus. Blackarachnia then joined Optimus and opened the door to see her Chrono-knife as the source of the glow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat indicates someone from another time zone\u2019s coming here!\u201d she yelped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPast? Future?\u201d asked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt doesn\u2019t tell me that,\u201d explained Blackarachnia, \u201conly that Vector Prime\u2019s going to have a quantum fubar to clean up.\u201d The glow then faded. \u201cOkay, now we gotta figure out…\u201d She was interrupted by a scream. The two Autobots raced over to find…a rather hilarious sight. Vector Prime was in vehicle mode and tangled up in Blackarachnia\u2019s trip lines. The two young bots laughed as Vector Prime tried to transform in the mess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s not funny!\u201d snapped Vector Prime. \u201cGet me down!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI got you, my Prime,\u201d giggled Blackarachnia. She sprayed his armor down with the same stuff she sprayed Optimus with and Vector Prime fell to the floor. Optimus couldn\u2019t help but chuckle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cLaugh it up, young one!\u201d grumbled Vector Prime as he transformed to robot mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMy Prime,\u201d interjected Blackarachnia, \u201cmy Chrono-knife glowed teal. I think you have a quantum fubar to deal with.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSince I authorized three time-travelers from the future to come to this time,\u201d replied Vector Prime, \u201cI already took care of any potential problems.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou let people from the future go to their past?!\u201d yelped Optimus. \u201cBut I thought…!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI know I wrote my views on time travel in the Covenant of Primus,\u201d interrupted Vector Prime, \u201cbut their time-zone, your future, was too ghastly. It needs to change. One of them is currently with Megatron. The other two will be with you shortly. However, I\u2019d watch out for one of them. He seems a little…off.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWell, we better find our time-travelers before the Decepticons do,\u201d declared Optimus. \u201cThanks for the heads-up, Vector Prime.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMy pleasure,\u201d replied Vector Prime before he summoned a teal portal and went into it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIf he\u2019s authorizing time-travel,\u201d muttered Blackarachnia, \u201cthe future must affect even the other Primes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe better find our new friends and fast!\u201d remarked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTeletraan, we need a bridge back to base,\u201d Blackarachnia called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cComing up,\u201d replied Teletraan. A Ground Bridge opened and they returned to base. Optimus then switched the comms on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAutobots, Blackarachnia and I just had a little chat with Vector Prime,\u201d he announced. \u201cWe\u2019ve got three time-travelers, one already found by the Cons and the other two needing to come to us. We\u2019ve all had drills for this, so it\u2019s time to start looking for temporal anomalies and chroniton radiation. That is all.\u201d At the end of the call, Jazz and Sonic came in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTime-travelers?\u201d asked Jazz. \u201cDo we know which era?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFrom a ghastly future, according to Vector Prime,\u201d explained Blackarachnia. \u201cSo ghastly that he allowed time-travel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSo, it\u2019s time to enact all protocols relating to this kind of thing,\u201d declared Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou guys have protocols for time-travel shenanigans?\u201d asked Sonic in disbelief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWell, one of our demi-gods IS the Guardian of Time,\u201d replied Blackarachnia, \u201cso, why not?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI just feel like you guys are needlessly protocol-driven nowadays,\u201d muttered Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSonic, I don\u2019t know if you remember,\u201d remarked Optimus, \u201cbut we ARE at war! Yeah!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThere\u2019s someone in the underground storage!\u201d reported Teletraan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cShow us!\u201d ordered Optimus. The screen showed the underground storage with an unknown Transformer dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHail! (Hail!)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n What’s the matter with your mind,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n And your sign an-a, oh-oh-oh?!<\/em>\u201d The bot was red with a yellow flame design and had a fancy yellow spoiler fashioned into a set of wings. He had three exhaust pipes on his arms travelling all the way up to the shoulders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOh, Primus, no!\u201d groaned Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhy one of them?!\u201d wailed Blackarachnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI didn\u2019t call Velocitron!\u201d yelped Jazz. The bot was still dancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHail! (Hail!)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Nothin’ the matter with your head!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Baby, find it, come on and find it!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWho is he?\u201d asked Sonic. What\u2019s the…huh?\u201d He then noticed the music had stopped. \u201cHEY!\u201d he called. \u201cWhat\u2019s the idea?!\u201d Optimus activated the comms to the storage area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGet your aft up here!\u201d he snarled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHey, Prime-boy!\u201d called the bot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat\u2019s Optimus to you, hot shot!\u201d snapped Optimus. The bot flinched, then ran out of the room at an incredible speed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDid he just…?\u201d spluttered Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe bots of Velocitron,\u201d explained Optimus, \u201clive for speed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c..Sounds like a little slice of heaven to me!\u201d chuckled Sonic. The bot appeared with a snarl on his face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s…Hot…ROD!\u201d he growled. \u201cDon\u2019t mistake me for that slow-as-scrap stooge!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHot Rod?\u201d asked Jazz. \u201cAs in, Hot Rod, the new co-host from Alien Hunt!<\/em>?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHey, someone\u2019s seen our streams!\u201d cheered the bot, Hot Rod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAlien Hunt!<\/em>?\u201d asked Blackarachnia. \u201cI thought that was cancelled.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s back on!\u201d explained Jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cEr, could someone explain what\u2019s going on?\u201d asked Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAlien Hunt!<\/em> is a live-show,\u201d answered Optimus, \u201cwhere the hosts find aliens and explain the myths and legends around them and then find the facts. It was originally just hosted by two Autobots, Meteorfire and Cosmos. After the incident with the Alovan Meteor, it was cancelled by order of the Black Block Consortia, the peace-keepers of the Galactic Council.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWell, it\u2019s back on! Meteorfire and Cosmos took me under their wing,\u201d continued Hot Rod, \u201cand we\u2019re pursuing the biggest story of all time, right here on Earth!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMobius,\u201d corrected Optimus. \u201cHot Rod, I\u2019m gonna level with you right now, we\u2019ve got three time-travelers from our future. Just then, a portal opened up, revealing a figure stepping through. \u201cWhat in the name of the Speedia 500?!\u201d yelped Hot Rod. The figure came out of the portal as it shut, revealing an older-looking Hot Rod. This one looked grim-faced and battle-scarred and was more bulky than the original Hot Rod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAre you one of the time-travelers?\u201d asked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI am,\u201d replied the older Hot Rod. \u201cI am Hot Rod from 50 years later, your successor, Optimus Prime.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c…This annoyance?!\u201d yelped Optimus as he pointed to Hot Rod. \u201cHe\u2019s gonna replace me in your timeline?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIf unaltered, that IS how the future will proceed,\u201d confirmed the older Hot Rod. \u201cYou will die in an attempt to take down Megatron, only to succeed in taking his right arm. He then learns more about dark magic and restores his arm with Dark Energon-based crystal mail, making him my enemy once you passed the Matrix on to my younger self. I accepted the Matrix, reluctantly, and became what I am now. I am Rodimus Prime, and I\u2019m here to save the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c…So COOL!\u201d cheered Hot Rod. \u201cAlien Hunt!<\/em>\u2019s got a whole hashtag dedicated to time-travel shenanigans!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI forgot how poor my attention span was,\u201d sighed Rodimus. He then returned his gaze to Optimus. \u201cHave you enacted all time-travel protocols?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI gave the order a minute before Hot Rod appeared on our sensors,\u201d explained Optimus. \u201cVector Prime told me and Blackarachnia that there are three time-travelers. Who are the other two?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMegatron\u2019s future self, called Galvatron,\u201d replied Rodimus, \u201cand a young, psychokinetic hedgehog named Silver.
