Ganondorf walked through the canyon that served as Kakariko Village\u2019s southern entrance. He was dragging a man in chains behind him. Like his main foe, the man wore green. Normally, the man would be shouting at Ganondorf to release him or suffer the consequences, leading Ganondorf to scoff at the man and say that he wouldn\u2019t be able to do much since the man was blind. Ganondorf wished the man WOULD say something, because his travelling companion, a fat, blue penguin in royal robes with the \u201cpeace\u201d hand sign and a large hammer, would not STOP saying something, and his southern drawl was getting on Ganondorf\u2019s last nerve. \u201cSo then, I told him, \u2018If you ever talk that way to me again, you\u2019ll be a Waddle Dee pancake and I\u2019ll make sure there\u2019s plenty of tasty syrup on you before I feed you to the dogs!\u2019 The Waddle Dee then high-tailed it faster than Kirby! Hey, did I ever tell you about the time Kirby\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPlease say something!\u201d Ganondorf hissed to his prisoner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd miss out on the entertainment?\u201d chuckled the man. \u201cNo way!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026and I had just finished a full breakfast too, so I wasn\u2019t\u2026\u201d continued the penguin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDEDEDE, WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP, YOU OVERSIZED BIRD?!\u201d roared Ganondorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey! I was telling a story here!\u201d snapped the penguin, King Dedede. \u201cYou know, it\u2019s very rude to interrupt someone when they\u2019re spinning a yarn!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s ruder still,\u201d growled Ganondorf, \u201cto keep talking and talking and talking! I think I just learned what being \u2018talked at\u2019 means!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWill you zip it?!\u201d snarled King Dedede. \u201cAt least my talking got the people of Popstar to respect me!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI highly doubt that, you gluttonous hog!\u201d retorted Ganondorf. \u201cUnlike you, I don\u2019t conquer things just to get to the head of an all-you-can-eat buffet!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah, well, conquest is hardly enjoyable without a tasty reward!\u201d argued King Dedede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll see how you enjoy even a carrot,\u201d growled Ganondorf, \u201cwhen I slice your useless head off!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh man, if I only had popcorn!\u201d chuckled the man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSHUT UP!\u201d shouted Ganondorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou wanted me to say something earlier,\u201d giggled the man. \u201cNow you don\u2019t? Man, so confusing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou won\u2019t be laughing when we use the Elemental Princesses\u2019 power to control this universe!\u201d growled Ganondorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou can\u2019t even control the Elemental Stars yet!\u201d laughed the man. \u201cWhat makes you think you can control the Princesses?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, we have our ways,\u201d chuckled Ganondorf darkly. \u201cDedede, would take over dragging him? \u2026Dedede?\u201d Ganondorf then looked to King Dedede to see the penguin distracted by his foot. \u201cDedede, will you PLEASE pay attention?!\u201d snapped Ganondorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am,\u201d replied King Dedede. \u201cMy corn hurts. It must be starting to snow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour \u2018corn\u2019 must be broken, then!\u201d snarled Ganondorf. \u201cIt\u2019s the middle of summer! How can a hurt foot even detect snow?!\u201d That was when a huge pile of snow landed on the two villains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Ask a silly question, get a silly answer,\u201d chuckled the man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTerraxila!\u201d called Aqualixar\u2019s voice. She and the Heroes then approached the site at top speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAqualixar!\u201d cheered the man, Terraxila. \u201cThank the stars you\u2019re here! Who\u2019s with you? My magic glasses are gone and I can\u2019t feel the earth all that good. My feet are covered.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t get all their names,\u201d explained Aqualixar as she summoned an ice knife to cut the chains. \u201cThe names I DO know are because one rescued me and the other\u2019s an old friend of ours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI believe you recognize my voice,\u201d called Rosalina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour dulcet tones CAN\u2019T be mistaken, Rosalina,\u201d replied Terraxila. \u201cGood to hear you, since I can\u2019t see you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHold on, let me just make some new magic glasses,\u201d declared Rosalina. She waved her wand and summoned a pair of glasses, handing them to Terraxila. He unfolded the glasses and set them onto his face. His eyes then started tracking movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd there\u2019s the old black and white vision,\u201d sighed Terraxila happily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can forge glasses that can help you see color, if you wish,\u201d offered Rosalina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat won\u2019t be necessary, old friend, but thank you,\u201d bid Terraxila. He undid the crude shoes and stood up. \u201cAh, sweet earth\u2019s touch, how I\u2019ve missed you,\u201d he sighed in another happy tone. The instant Terraxila was freed, Ganondorf and King Dedede freed themselves from the snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow in the\u2026?!\u201d spluttered Ganondorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI told you my corn\u2019s never wrong!\u201d snarled King Dedede. He then saw the Heroes. \u201cWhat the?! I thought you said they couldn\u2019t get past that goop monster without water!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey must have freed that woman and she assisted them!\u201d snarled Ganondorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, there\u2019s always the Nightmare Enterprises monsters to deal with them!\u201d declared Dedede. He pulled out a small stone cube, then tossed it into the air. The cube grew until it was as large as a hill. It then grew eyes, arms, and legs and glared menacingly at the Heroes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBlocky?!\u201d gulped Kirby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHave fun, kiddoes!\u201d laughed Dedede as he and Ganondorf made their escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKirby, you know this guy?\u201d asked Mario. Kirby nodded. \u201cThen you can easily swallow him, right?\u201d Kirby shook his body side to side to indicate \u201cno\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBlocky\u2019s a living being made of earth,\u201d groaned Terraxila. \u201cWe can\u2019t control beings made of the elements; it would cause a painful feedback!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEven controlling beings that are 80% water is uncomfortable for me,\u201d muttered Aqualixar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHowever, I think I can still beat this thing,\u201d mused Terraxila. \u201cStar Warrior, any advice?\u201d Kirby then swallowed a rock and became Stone Kirby. \u201c\u2026Er, what good\u2019s THAT going to do?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHurl him!\u201d called Samus. \u201cThrow Blocky off balance!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSay no more!\u201d declared Terraxila. He then employed a stance that was almost Kung Fu like and made a stone pillar to launch Stone Kirby into Blocky. Blocky was struck on his topmost edge and toppled into a large stone spike, causing both the spike and Blocky to shatter. Kirby returned to normal and cheered. \u201cGood work, Star Warrior!\u201d praised Terraxila. He then turned to Samus. \u201cI take it this is a young Star Warrior, one who\u2019s yet to master speech?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBingo,\u201d confirmed Samus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd your power armor,\u201d mused Terraxila, \u201cis that of Chozo design?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYep,\u201d answered Samus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen we\u2019ll definitely need your help, Ma\u2019am,\u201d declared Terraxila. \u201cA Space Pirate by the name of Ridley has taken Ventarix, the Knight of Air, as his hostage.\u201d Under her suit\u2019s helmet, Samus\u2019 eyes went wide at the name of Ridley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026How long?!\u201d she whispered in a dangerous tone. \u201c\u2026How long have I got to fight that mutant dragon?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen you two have a history,\u201d realized Terraxila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve all faced him once or twice,\u201d interjected Mario, \u201cSamus having the most encounters out of all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, Ridley\u2019s holding my fellow knight in a town outside this world\u2019s castle,\u201d explained Terraxila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCastle Town!\u201d realized Link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy people!\u201d called Zelda. \u201cHurry, everyone!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWait, we need the\u2026!\u201d yelped Donkey Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGot a green star here!\u201d replied Luigi. Terraxila goggled in shock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cH\u2026How did you not\u2026?!\u201d he gulped. \u201cI mean\u2026you should be a stone statue after touching the Earth Star!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat was my reaction when they all safely touched a Water Star!\u201d answered Aqualixar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCould you lot be\u2026the Legendary Heroes?\u201d mused Terraxila. He then shook his head. \u201cNever mind. Let\u2019s go!\u201d The Heroes then took off, with Zelda and Link leading the way to Castle Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A giant, winged creature, looking like a cross between a Western Dragon and a Pterodactyl, held a woman in cyan clothing in his grasp and looked down at Ganondorf and Dedede. \u201cWhat was THAT all about?!\u201d snapped the creature. \u201cYou just threw a giant block in the Heroes\u2019 way?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat are you complaining about, Ridley, you turkey?!\u201d argued Dedede. \u201cBlocky can hold them off!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow many times did Kirby beat him?!\u201d thundered the creature, Ridley. \u201cYou do know what the clinical definition of insanity is?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBlocky\u2019s been upgraded!\u201d snapped Dedede. \u201cHe\u2019ll beat Kirby this time!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith his current allies?!\u201d argued Ridley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGood grief, and people call ME a windbag,\u201d muttered the woman in his grasp. Ridley clenched his fist, nearly crushing the woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPersonally, I can\u2019t wait to pop you like a zit!\u201d snarled Ridley. \u201cYour blood will make a nice decoration to the ground!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSave your sadism,\u201d advised Ganondorf. \u201cIt looks like you were right, Ridley.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy\u2019s Ridley right?!\u201d argued Dedede. Ganondorf said nothing, he just pointed to the Heroes running up to them. \u201c\u2026Those Heroes are just like taxes; they just don\u2019t know when to stop!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet me handle this,\u201d directed Ridley. He stomped forward and brandished the woman. \u201cNot one more step, Heroes!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOr what, monster?!\u201d snarled Samus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOr I crush this woman and her entrails litter the ground as your mother\u2019s did on K-2L!\u201d replied Ridley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow many times must I kill you?!\u201d growled Samus as she readied her arm cannon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, Samus, I am eternal!\u201d bragged Ridley. \u201cLet\u2019s see, how many names did I get? There\u2019s just Ridley, Meta Ridley, Omega Ridley, Little Birdie, Neo Ridley, heck, I might as well be called Cyclone Ridley now!\u201d He then revealed the cybernetic implant on his chest. Inside a small dome was a cyan star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVentarix, don\u2019t worry!\u201d called Aqualixar to the woman in Ridley\u2019s grip. \u201cWe\u2019ll get you down!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTake your time,\u201d snarked the woman, Ventarix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s clear that the Air Star is powering him right now,\u201d observed Terraxila. \u201cWe must break the implant and\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s mine!\u201d shouted Samus as she morphed into a metal ball and rolled up the side of a house, then unfurled and fired her arm cannon at the implant. The shot hit and Ridley roared in rage, dropping Ventarix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThank you, Ma\u2019am,\u201d bid Ventarix as Samus continued firing on Ridley. Ridley took to the air as Ganondorf and Dedede personally fought the other Heroes. Ventarix looked up to Ridley and decided on her actions. Utilizing moves that were like the Baguazhang style of martial arts, Ventarix created a vacuum bubble and maneuvered it around Ridley\u2019s head. It was then that Ridley felt his breath being sucked out of his lungs! Ridley lost concentration and plummeted to the ground, desperately trying to regain his breath. Unbeknownst to Ventarix, Dedede saw the whole thing. He rushed to the rescue by swinging his hammer into her side, making her lose concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow what, I say, WHAT was that all about?!\u201d he ranted as Ventarix recovered from the blow. \u201cRidley may be a space monster, but even he can\u2019t hold his breath forever! He ain\u2019t someone who can breathe in space! He\u2019s gotta have air, like you and me! His lungs crave air! You gotta think of things like that!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI did!\u201d hissed Ventarix. \u201cThat\u2019s why I declared myself his Angel of Death!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou can\u2019t kill him!\u201d protested Dedede. \u201cYou heroes have moral codes!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m a knight, not a hero!\u201d snarled Ventarix as she adopted a ready stance. \u201cI\u2019ll do whatever it takes to protect my ruler, even in exile!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re a nice girl,\u201d muttered Dedede as he readied his hammer, \u201cbut you\u2019ve got more nerve than a bum tooth.\u201d The two then dueled. For a man of his bulk, Dedede was surprisingly fast, never giving Ventarix the chance to take his breath. They soon entered the battle between Ridley, Ganondorf, and the Heroes. Ridley\u2019s implant had cracked where it held the Air Star. Samus saw it and readied a shot. She fired and the implant exploded, damaging Ridley and causing the star to fly out of the implant, into Daisy\u2019s hands. Ventarix was amazed at how Daisy could safely handle the star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow is that\u2026?!\u201d she gasped before Dedede knocked her into a building. He then rejoined Ganondorf and Ridley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t wish to sound like a coward,\u201d gulped Dedede, \u201cbut we\u2019re all starting to look like two miles of bad road! We better head for the hills!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAre you kidding?!\u201d snarled Ridley. \u201cThe Air Knight tried to kill me! I won\u2019t rest until her blood coats my teeth!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEnough!\u201d shouted Ganondorf. \u201cWe will consolidate our power at the castle! The book is still the goal! Retreat!\u201d He and Dedede hopped onto Ridley\u2019s back and spurred him on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m not a horse, you know!\u201d grumbled Ridley as he took off in the direction of the castle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have to go after them and put them in the ground for\u2026!\u201d Ventarix didn\u2019t get far as she was splashed with a tremendous amount of water. She spluttered, then glared at Aqualixar. \u201c\u2026Explanations?\u201d she hissed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe all swore an oath!\u201d snarled Aqualixar. \u201cWe will not kill anyone unless it\u2019s absolutely necessary!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s gotten into you?!\u201d snapped Terraxila. \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t hurt a fly normally!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAfter I heard that my Princess was being targeted,\u201d replied Ventarix, \u201cI had to put aside my personal feelings and do what I needed to do to protect her.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat, by giving the enemy a way out?!\u201d argued Aqualixar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo one will have closure if you kill them!\u201d continued Terraxila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFar be it for me to interrupt,\u201d called Rosalina, \u201cbut we DO have a mission to complete.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe\u2019s right,\u201d agreed Zelda. \u201cThere\u2019s a book we need and it\u2019s at the castle! We MUST retrieve it to stop our nemeses!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026You know them?\u201d asked Ventarix. The Heroes nodded. \u201c\u2026Very well, I will accompany you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGood, but no killing!\u201d declared Mario. \u201cYour friends are right.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
