Eggman and the Combaticons arrived at Station Square and started causing mayhem! \u201cPeople of Mobius, the true threat to your old order has returned!\u201d announced Eggman as the Combaticons fired into the crowds. \u201cYour pathetic lives are about to change as we know it! From now on, I <\/em>am the only leader you need! From this moment on, you will obey no one but me! Anyone who resists will be considered an enemy and ALL enemies will be eliminated by the culmination of my research into the Transformers! Behold, my Combaticons!\u201d The Combaticons each transformed and tore through the streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhere\u2019s Optimus?!\u201d wailed a Weasel mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSomeone call the Autobots!\u201d pleaded a Skunk man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhere\u2019s Sonic?!\u201d cried a racoon child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRight here!\u201d called a familiar voice. A blue ball then slammed into the back of Onslaught\u2019s head. It bounced off as the ball landed on the ground and unfurled into a familiar blue hedgehog!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSONIC?!\u201d yelped Eggman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat, expecting the Autobots?\u201d snarked Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs a matter of fact, no, since Optimus is buried alive!\u201d laughed Eggman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPriority one: Hedgehog!\u201d called Onslaught. \u201cCombaticons, destroy him!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYuh oh!\u201d yelped Sonic as he sped off, staying ahead of the Combaticons\u2019 fire. As Sonic ran, he passed by a figure similar to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCHAOS SPEAR!\u201d shouted the figure as he swung his arm and fired energy spears into Blast Off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo, the hedgehogs want to play!\u201d laughed Blast Off as he flew through the air. He then fired his gun and laughed as Shadow rolled out of the way. Just then, G.U.N tanks rolled into the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow, to give them credit, that IS some impressive hardware,\u201d mused Swindle. \u201cBut I know of more impressive stuff. Hey, Brawl, want to show them what I mean?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDelighted!\u201d replied Brawl as he shifted his tank barrel to his side and fired. The G.U.N tanks were practically launched into the air. \u201cLook at them fly!\u201d laughed Brawl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll be flying farther than that!\u201d challenged a voice. Eggman and the Combaticons turned to see the entirety of Megatron\u2019s forces! Shockwave, Soundwave, Starscream, Skywarp, Thundercracker, Ravage, Ratbat, Frenzy, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Galvatron, they were ALL there, behind Megatron. \u201cSurrender the Allspark or your life is forfeit!\u201d demanded Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI thought you buried him!\u201d yelped Swindle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI DID!\u201d protested Onslaught.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy are you squabbling?\u201d asked Eggman. \u201cThere\u2019s plenty more toys to break.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Good point, Sir,\u201d replied Onslaught. \u201cCombaticons, waste them!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDecepticons, ATTACK!\u201d ordered Megatron. The two teams charged at each other and began a BRUTAL fight. Megatron grappled with Onslaught before each leapt back to get some distance. \u201cThe arrogance of a newborn!\u201d snarled Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNot arrogance, confidence,\u201d corrected Onslaught.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve never been in combat before!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m a new generation of soldier! I far surpass you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen face me as a beast, if you can!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeastly tactics get one nowhere! Only through careful planning do you achieve victory!\u201d Onslaught slammed his fist into the ground and generated a shockwave that knocked Megatron off his feet. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t need to transform as often as you do! You\u2019re from a planet with practically minimal Energon radiation, I was born on a planet with greater radiation than yours! I\u2019m perfectly adapted to this world! You are but an outdated hunk of junk that will be scrapped!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReal soldiers don\u2019t talk so much!\u201d Megatron picked up a lamp post and swung it at Onslaught. Sadly, Onslaught grabbed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNice try.\u201d Onslaught then flung the lamp post and Megatron aside. Megatron hit the building hard and fell hard. He shakily got back up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the spirit!\u201d he praised. \u201cBut I was made a champion of the Pits of Kaon not only due to my savage might\u2026but also my CUNNING!\u201d He then took out a Cyber Key and flicked it into the air! \u201cCYBER KEY POWER!\u201d Once it was charged, the Cyber Key inserted itself into the back of his fusion cannon, rotated, and split the cannon in half so the sword would rest between the cannon halves. Onslaught gulped at the immense power Megatron was packing. \u201cYou should have heeded my advice and faced me as a beast! My fusion lancer wants to introduce itself!\u201d Megatron fired and the shot slammed into Onslaught\u2019s side, forcing him to black out. \u201cTalent\u2019s nothing without practice.\u201d Megatron then began his hunt for Eggman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, so many machines to bend to my will!\u201d Eggman was as giddy as a child on Christmas Morning. \u201cLet\u2019s see, that car maybe. Or the video game console! Perhaps that vending machine!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy not just let the Allspark go before you become addicted to its power?\u201d asked a voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Because, of course, the situation isn\u2019t dire enough without the Autobots,\u201d grumbled Eggman. His Egg-mobile turned to see all the Autobots, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide, Jazz, Cliffjumper, Prowl, Chromia, Pyra Magna, Jumpstream, Dust Up, Stormclash, Skyburst, Rust Dust, Ultra Magnus, Hot Rod, Kup, Cosmos, Meteorfire, and Rodimus Prime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Allspark is a holy relic that belongs to Cybertron,\u201d growled Optimus. \u201cI suggest you surrender it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI command you machines, not the other way around!\u201d Eggman fired several missiles at the Autobots, scattering them. Vortex and Blast Off then arrived and bombarded the place as Eggman fled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHot Rod! Meteorfire! Go get him!\u201d ordered Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, Sir!\u201d called Hot Rod as he and Meteorfire transformed. They followed Eggman as fast as they could. Meteorfire stayed right behind Hot Rod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is your chance!\u201d he urged. \u201cGo on! Be the hero you were meant to be!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNOW, RODIMUS! NOW!\u201d shouted Hot Rod. Rodimus leapt out of the shadows and fired on Meteorfire. As Meteorfire crashed, Optimus turned onto Hot Rod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWHAT ARE YOU DOING?!\u201d he demanded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA plan between me and Rodimus!\u201d explained Hot Rod. \u201cHe had a bit of temporal amnesia concerning parts of the future, which is why he had two other partners to help him fill in the blanks, especially ones concerning Terrorcons!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTerrorcons?!\u201d repeated Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will explain everything later!\u201d assured Rodimus. \u201cFor now, all you need to know is that Meteorfire is actually a Xitran survivor called Sideways!\u201d Rodimus tore off Meteorfire\u2019s armor and revealed Sideways!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Soundwave and Shockwave saw the whole thing. \u201cSideways?!\u201d repeated Shockwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut he\u2019s dead!\u201d gasped Soundwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNever mind that!\u201d called Galvatron. \u201cWe have a clear path to the Allspark!\u201d That was when a distant rumbling sounded overhead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026You\u2019re sure?\u201d asked Shockwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat the?\u201d muttered Eggman as he looked up. Up in the sky was a massive jet with two cockpits and two seats in each cockpit. The jet had two sets of wings in between the cockpits and they were in the formation of an X. It had massive thrusters and had a red, white, and black color scheme. It activated external speakers as a familiar voice rang out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLadies and gentlemen, presenting the Prower Industries X-Tornado!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTails?!\u201d called Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s my name, don\u2019t wear it out!\u201d replied Tails from the front cockpit. \u201cNow, to demonstrate one of its many features!\u201d Tails keyed in a command and then left the X-Tornado. It flew off and kept the Decepticons off the Autobots\u2019 backs while Tails flew straight at Eggman. He landed on the Egg-mobile and reached for the Allspark while Eggman tried to shove him off. Tails then grabbed Eggman\u2019s moustache! \u201cTHAT BELONGS TO THE AUTOBOTS!\u201d shouted Tails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou grubby little beast!\u201d snarled Eggman. \u201cLet go of my moustache!\u201d He then shoved Tails off! \u201cHmph! Tha caterwauling child certainly was a handful.\u201d He then grabbed his device and pointed it at a tank. \u201cLet\u2019s see what you become!\u201d He pulled the trigger on the device\u2026but nothing happened. \u201c\u2026Oh, come on, burnout already?\u201d He then looked at the device and gasped in fear! \u201cMY CUBE!\u201d The Allspark was missing from the device!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cAutobots, I have the Allspark!\u201d called Tails over his communicator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGood work, Tails!\u201d praised Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou hang tight!\u201d urged Ironhide. \u201cHot Rod and I will be there to escort you to a safe zone so we can bridge you and the Allspark directly to the Vaults!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGot it!\u201d agreed Tails. He kept under cover as laser fire flew everywhere. \u201cBetter hurry!\u201d he gulped to himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey can\u2019t help you, kid!\u201d growled a voice. A blob of static then appeared before it shaped itself and coalesced into Sideways! \u201cFork over the Allspark and get squished!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEr, don\u2019t you mean \u2018or\u2019?!\u201d gulped Tails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNot where my master is concerned. Dying now would be preferable for someone as insignificant as you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMegatron won\u2019t like that you\u2019re killing a prisoner!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMegatron? You think that bumbling fool\u2019s my master? I\u2019m a Terrorcon, not a Decepticon. I\u2019m a virus mortals like you and the Transformers can\u2019t erase!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBACK AWAY FROM THE KID!\u201d shouted Rodimus\u2019 voice as he slammed his fist into Sideways\u2019 face. Sideways shook his head, then faced his opponent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTell me, do you know how early you\u2019ve landed in your past?!\u201d he cackled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI still arrived after your master\u2019s name was spoken,\u201d replied Rodimus. Ironhide and Hot Rod then arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNeed help taking this punk down?\u201d asked Ironhide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNever mind me, focus on getting Tails and the Allspark out of here,\u201d urged Rodimus. Ironhide and Hot Rod nodded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSIDEWAYS, TRANSFORM!\u201d Sideways\u2019 head sunk into his torso as the wheels unfolded and turned so one wheel pointed up and the other pointed down. The arms then folded behind his back and joined together so his piping pointed towards the rear wheel, resting over it and becoming the back. The legs then folded so they surrounded the rear wheel as the torso rotated and became the headlight section over the front wheel. The instant he finished his transformation into his motorcycle mode, he zoomed into Rodimus and tripped him up as he performed a wheelie before transforming back into robot mode and firing a stream of darkness at him. Rodimus writhed in pain as the darkness enveloped him. Sideways then yanked his arm back and pulled the darkness off of Rodimus, allowing it to form a shape\u2026RODIMUS\u2019 shape. The new creature was mainly jet black with purple flames and optics. The double then turned to Sideways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou couldn\u2019t wait until you got the Allspark, could you?!\u201d he snarled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, shut up and keep the other Prime busy!\u201d snapped Sideways as he transformed and pursued Ironhide\u2019s group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat do you call yourself, Nemesis Prime?\u201d asked Rodimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo, there\u2019s already a Nemesis Prime with Optimus\u2019 face,\u201d answered his double. \u201cI\u2019m Rodimus Unicronus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026That\u2019s a pretty lame name.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat coming from Rodimus Prime!\u201d Rodimus Unicronus charged at Rodimus Prime and tackled him to the ground, continually beating on him until he was kicked off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Hot Rod and Ironhide continued giving Tails cover fire. \u201cKid! Get Tails to the building! I\u2019ll hold the line!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll die if you face him alone!\u201d protested Hot Rod.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSomebody\u2019s gotta make sure the mission is completed! If and when I do die, just complete the mission, you got that?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Got it, Sir!\u201d Hot Rod turned to Tails. \u201cCome on!\u201d Hot Rod transformed and Tails climbed inside. Ironhide then turned towards Sideways. \u201cSo, tell me, did you already say his name?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOf course, we did,\u201d replied Sideways. \u201cUnlike you, we Terrorcons aren\u2019t afraid of saying his name.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust wanted to make sure no one on my team said it and accidentally summoned him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, one of your friends met my master before. I believe he was a \u2018Werehog\u2019 during that time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo, Dark Gaia and Unicron are the same beast. I guess Sonic got off lucky.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou won\u2019t. In fact, you won\u2019t live to see Unicron take this world over. I, on the other had\u2026have some power linked to my minions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026What?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cROOK! POWERLINX!\u201d Rook appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cROOK, TRANSFORM!\u201d he shouted. Rook\u2019s arms swung up, then his legs split and twisted to become horns as he rotated so his head faced down. The whole thing then covered Sideways\u2019 head and Sideways got a tremendous boost of power! He then thrust his arm into Ironhide\u2019s chest, the piping going clean through him!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSince I was a rank higher than you back in the day,\u201d scoffed Sideways as he gathered dark energy into his palm, \u201cI hereby discharge you from duty!\u201d Sideways fired, the release of dark energy tearing through Ironhide\u2019s Spark Chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIRONHIDE!\u201d cried Optimus as he saw the whole thing. Rook disconnected from Sideways, they both transformed, and Rook grabbed Sideways\u2019 handlebars as they sped off. Optimus fired after them before kneeling down to Ironhide. \u201cIronhide, stay with me!\u201d begged Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTh..the kid\u2026\u201d gasped Ironhide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDon\u2019t talk, you\u2019re losing too much Energon!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe cube\u2026save\u2026save the\u2026\u201d Ironhide was still struggling to speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRATCHET!\u201d called Optimus. \u201cRATCHET, WHERE ARE YOU!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIronhide!\u201d cried Chromia\u2019s voice as she and Ratchet arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOptimus, we\u2019ll take it from here!\u201d ordered Ratchet. \u201cMegatron\u2019s going after Hot Rod and Tails! They have the Allspark!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut Ironhide\u2026!\u201d protested Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf either Sideways or Megatron get the cube, then Ironhide\u2019s fight wouldn\u2019t have mattered! Now go after the Allspark.\u201d Optimus hesitated before transforming into vehicle mode and taking off. \u201cChromia, keep the enemy off my back! I need to bridge him to the repair bay!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGot it!\u201d confirmed Chromia as she unleashed her rifle on Starscream\u2019s Seeker Trine as they flew overhead.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
