Elmpam was escorted by Arsha and her lovers to the Royana Castle. Elgrad and Hanako were outside the gates when they arrived. \u201cGood to see you, Elmpam,\u201d greeted Elgrad as they shook hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLikewise,\u201d returned Elmpam. \u201cHas Orbak arrived yet?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRight here!\u201d called Orbak\u2019s voice. Everyone turned and\u2026were surprised at Orbak\u2019s current appearance. There was something new about him. \u201c\u2026Wh\u2026what?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNothing, sweetie,\u201d replied Elmpam. \u201cJust wanted to know when you decided to join the fire brigade.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDaddy, why do you have a mustache?\u201d asked Malnar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cJust trying something out,\u201d replied Orbak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHas it started?!\u201d called Emfam\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNot yet,\u201d replied Elgrad as the Felomphas arrived. \u201cWe\u2019re gonna do lunch, then we talk.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGood idea,\u201d chuckled Ufnamfa. \u201cI could use some food.\u201d Endram then saw Orbak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThere we go!\u201d he cheered. \u201cSee? That\u2019s what I was talking about!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd now it makes sense,\u201d remarked Hanako.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDad, that was your idea?\u201d asked Lardeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYeah! He looks rugged, doesn\u2019t he?\u201d chuckled Endram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Mama Teefmanam, mind helping me out here?\u201d asked Lardeth. Teefmanam then joined the two men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEndram, sweetie,\u201d sighed Teefmanam, \u201cyou remember the talk we had?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Which one?\u201d asked Endram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe one where something that works for you may not work for everyone?\u201d replied Lardeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat about it?\u201d quizzed Endram. \u201c\u2026Oh, you think this is one of those things?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYeah, this is one of those things,\u201d confirmed Teefmanam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo, should we get inside?\u201d asked Olmarfa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re still waiting on a Realmfleet Admiral,\u201d answered Hanako.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd here he is with his husbands and harem-girl,\u201d called Elgrad as Rokalla appeared with three other Orc men and an Orc woman in a harem outfit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo, you\u2019re the Summit Witness, Sir?\u201d Arsha asked Rokalla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am, indeed,\u201d replied Rokalla. \u201cI don\u2019t believe you\u2019ve met my lovers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCan\u2019t say as I have.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThen may I present my husbands, Herksher,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHello,\u201d bid one of the Orc men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBermak,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGood Day,\u201d greeted another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPrormerk,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHi,\u201d called the last Orc man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd our Harem girl, Jamula.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGreetings, Your Highness,\u201d bid the Orc woman as she bowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWell then, welcome to Castle Royana,\u201d declared Elgrad. \u201cIf everyone will follow me, we\u2019ll head to the main dining hall. It\u2019s buffet style, so help yourself.\u201d He and Hanako led the way through the outer wall\u2019s gate, across a moat, through an inner wall\u2019s gate, and into the main castle doors. They then went through a door on the left side of the foyer and into a banquet hall with a long food table set up. Everyone got a plate and got the food they wanted. Jamula looked at Hanako\u2019s plate with curiosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYour Majesty, what is that?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis?\u201d replied Hanako as she used her chopsticks to point at her food. \u201cIt\u2019s sushi, a Sakuran Kitsune province dish, my home part of the Sacchrinda Kingdom. It\u2019s raw fish wrapped in rice. Wanna try it?\u201d Jamula looked at Prormerk and he shrugged. She took that as an opportunity to go ahead and grabbed a green ball of paste! \u201cWHOA! WAIT A MINUTE! NOT THAT\u2026!\u201d Too late. Jamula put the ball into her mouth and the people not familiar with Orcs stared, their jaws to the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026A bit of a kick,\u201d remarked Jamula, \u201cbut I\u2019ve tasted spicier.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou\u2019ve tasted\u2026you\u2019ve gotta be kidding me!\u201d squeaked Elgrad when he found his voice. \u201cYou just\u2026you just ate a whole ball of Kitsune wasabi!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMiss, are you okay?!\u201d asked Emfam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026I\u2019m not feeling much heat at all,\u201d replied Jamula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHow?!\u201d asked Hanako. \u201cThat\u2019s the spiciest condiment in all the Realms! If I ate half of that, I\u2019d be puking my guts out and crying!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat\u2019s thanks to His Majesty\u2019s first ancestor,\u201d answered Jamula as she pointed to Orbak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe area Realmgate City is in was once a harsh wasteland, with the Orcs wandering the place as nomads,\u201d explained Orbak. \u201cBecause of that, Intrag altered their genetics so that they could draw nutrients from a wide variety of organic and inorganic matter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWait, I never knew this!\u201d yelped Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOrbak, Jamula, are you two telling me,\u201d asked Ufnamfa, \u201cthat Orcs can eat ANYTHING?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe can eat MANY things, but not everything,\u201d corrected Jamula. \u201cThe least we can eat is rocks, but that\u2019s only if we\u2019re starving.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou\u2019re pulling my leg!\u201d remarked Lardeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGive me something you don\u2019t usually eat, and I\u2019ll bite into it,\u201d challenged Jamula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOkay\u2026um\u2026\u201d Hanako floundered, feeling like she would be taking advantage of her if she did so. \u201c\u2026I can\u2019t think. Domesta!\u201d The Head Maid appeared, her lower half still a blue smoke tail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYes, Your Majesty?\u201d asked Domesta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI wish for something unusual that we don\u2019t eat but an Orc does,\u201d wished Hanako.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThey told you they can eat a lot of things and you don\u2019t believe them?\u201d guessed Domesta. Hanako nodded and Domesta snapped her fingers. Her bottle then appeared in her hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWait, I didn\u2019t mean\u2026!\u201d yelped Hanako.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRelax, this is just a copy of our bottle,\u201d assured Domesta. \u201cDumarith\u2019s still in the real one, quarantining himself because a Genie cold.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA Genie cold?!\u201d yelped Elmpam. \u201cOh dear!\u201d Domesta handed Jamula the bottle and Jamula bit the bottle neck off and chewed it as if it were food!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHoly\u2026!\u201d yelped Arsha as she witnessed the whole thing. Jamula then offered the bottle to her masters. They declined after patting their stomachs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Okay, but it\u2019s really tasty,\u201d mused Jamula as she continued eating the bottle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOkay, everyone, we fooled around long enough,\u201d muttered Elgrad. \u201cI trust we all know why we\u2019re here?\u201d Everyone nodded. \u201cThen let\u2019s not waste any more time. Royals, Rokalla, let\u2019s get to the Conference Hall. Everyone that\u2019s not a Royal or Rokalla, I\u2019m sorry, but this is a private summit. You\u2019re welcome to stay here, but you cannot enter the Conference Hall.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe understand, Your Majesty,\u201d assured Falnii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAll right, let\u2019s get to it,\u201d declared Elgrad. He and Hanako led the Royals, Rokalla, and their heirs to the Conference Hall while Falnii, Foresna, Gorfanth, Jamula, Herksher, Bermak, and Prormerk stayed with Domesta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA Genie cold?\u201d asked Foresna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou know how you guys get a cold?\u201d answered Domesta. \u201cSimilar symptoms, only, there\u2019s another one for us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat\u2019s that?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe lose control of our magic. I\u2019m serious, time and space can be warped, objects appear out of nowhere, people or things may be changed, that sort of thing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd staying in the bottle is a good idea?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYes, actually. It keeps the haywire magic contained. Now, this means I have to REALLY be fanatic about not getting infected.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDon\u2019t want to ruin the castle?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNope. My hubby and I wouldn\u2019t like to disappoint the Royanas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Hubby?\u201d asked Herksher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDumarith.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Is \u2018hubby\u2019 some sort of pet name between you two?\u201d quizzed Jamula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNo, I call him my hubby because we\u2019re married.\u201d Everyone\u2019s jaw dropped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGenies? Marry?!\u201d stammered Bermak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd everyone thought an Orc\u2019s ability to eat most everything was shocking!\u201d breathed Jamula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhy not?\u201d asked Domesta. \u201cWe have the same emotions as you guys!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s just\u2026usually, Genies scoff at the idea of marriage!\u201d remarked Prormerk. \u201cHow long have you two been married?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAbout 400 years. Now, the situation is already clear, but I\u2019m going to sum it up. Dr. Borg, a renegade Sprite scientist, is working with Oyed to start the Final War. Now, Arsha, you\u2019ve had more experience with her, even going so far as to deck her and, from what your reports have said, kill her twice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat\u2019s because of a machine she\u2019s created to digitize her soul and create a clone body so she can come back. An unnatural form of immortality, in my opinion,\u201d explained Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThen any insights you have would be valuable,\u201d suggested Elmpam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDr. Borg seems to be Depths-bent on remaking the Realms,\u201d answered Arsha. She then got a look. \u201cNow that I think about it, the way she talks about it, I don\u2019t think her goals line up with Oyed\u2019s all that much.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat do you mean?\u201d asked Emfam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhenever she talked about her goals,\u201d replied Arsha, \u201cshe says she\u2019s doing it for a peaceful future of herself and her followers. Not once has she mentioned Oyed. Where does he fit in to her vision?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026You\u2019re right, Oyed wants us to continually fight until all life is extinguished and he\u2019s fully absorbed the Divine Ones\u2019 power,\u201d mused Olmarfa. \u201cHow does that fit into Dr. Borg\u2019s vision?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt sounds like Dr. Borg is in a weak state,\u201d offered Elgrad. \u201cOur intelligence reports say that she\u2019s at Reb Rojam\u2019s old home of Plunder Island Stronghold and is in dire financial straits. It seems to me that the only way to catch her off-guard is with a preemptive strike. The Fae Republic is well-versed in aerial attacks, so any advice from them would\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI did NOT just hear you suggest that!\u201d hissed Emfam. \u201cDr. Borg has Revenants in case you forgot! I won\u2019t tell Rellmeer to send her people to die at their hands!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd I won\u2019t condone that kind of bloodshed in the Under-realm!\u201d declared Orbak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBut, Orbak, Emfam! Dr. Borg is a Sprite!\u201d protested Elgrad. \u201cWho better to know how her mind works than Rellmeer! Need I remind you that Dr. Borg is a threat to the Realms?! She must be stopped by any means necessary!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cToo many Out-realmers have died for the Under-realm throughout the previous Wars,\u201d replied Orbak, \u201cand I refuse to allow more to die unless there\u2019s no choice. If you intend to go on a fool\u2019s attack on Dr. Borg as it stands, you\u2019ll do so without my help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBesides, she would want us to make the first strike,\u201d advised Arsha. \u201cShe\u2019ll twist it so that her followers believe that we would attack people willy-nilly and people would then send money to her war effort instead of us. Callous though this sounds, if the Final War DOES start, SHE needs to be the one to make the first strike.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat would entice her to strike?\u201d asked Orbak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe need to set up defensive perimeters around our most vital areas, for a start.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShe has a point, Elgrad,\u201d remarked Hanako. \u201cIf she\u2019s forced to strike the least vital areas first, she won\u2019t get much in the way of money, manpower, or firepower. We could easily overwhelm her if we stay on the defensive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Fine, I\u2019ll hold off any plans of attack,\u201d decided Elgrad. \u201cI\u2019ll recommend to Aldarval that she start looking into siege-defense strategies for our most vital areas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn that, you will have the Under-realm\u2019s full support,\u201d declared Orbak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd the Over-realm\u2019s,\u201d supplied Emfam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThere\u2019s still another matter to discuss, though,\u201d remarked Elgrad. \u201cHow long can we be patient?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLet us discuss that tomorrow,\u201d suggested Hanako. \u201cWe need to think about this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAgreed,\u201d replied Elgrad. \u201cAny objections to adjourn until tomorrow afternoon, same time, speak now.\u201d No one said a word. \u201cSince there are none, I hereby adjourn this summit until tomorrow. My staff will show you to your rooms.\u201d Everyone got up and the staff then led the visitors to their rooms. Arsha and her lovers decided to sleep in her room.
