Two days. That was all it took to get Foundation Prime\u2019s coordinates. I was given the coordinates and put them into my belt. All Vortex Riders assembled in the Gateway Room. Xiomara got off her phone. \u201cI just got a call from Death,\u201d she reported. \u201cAll Apocalypse and Herald Riders are meeting us there; they just need the coordinates.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll text them to her,\u201d declared Lacey as she whipped out her phone. She sent a text, then waited a bit for Death\u2019s confirmation. She didn\u2019t wait long. \u201cThey got it,\u201d reported Lacey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow, it\u2019s all you,\u201d directed Richard. I took a breath, then drew my i.d tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHenshin,\u201d I announced. \u201cDai Super Charge.\u201d I became Kamen Rider Vortex and concentrated on the destination. A rift opened for us and we went through it to Foundation Prime!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Where we landed in Foundation Prime was NOT Vortech\u2019s base. It was a small island accommodating us all, even Death and the rest of the Apocalypse and Herald Riders. It was good to see Lacey\u2019s old classmates. I cancelled my transformation as we looked around. Wyldstyle saw some sort of temple citadel. \u201cUh, shouldn\u2019t we be over there?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes,\u201d hissed Batman. \u201cSo much for that toaster\u2019s calculations!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFinding an exact point in the multiverse,\u201d countered Charline, \u201cis not as easy as it looks. This was probably the best X-PO could give us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt could have been worse,\u201d supplied Gandalf as he held a rock over the edge of the island. \u201cJust a little way off and\u2026\u201d he released the rock, but the result wasn\u2019t what he thought. Ground came out of the undulating waves of white and joined with the island we were on. \u201c\u2026That was unexpected,\u201d muttered Gandalf. Wyldstyle jumped on the new ground to test its integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s solid!\u201d she reported. She picked up another stone. \u201cHang on a second!\u201d She tossed it over the edge, but no ground rose to meet it. It fell into the waves and vaporized. \u201cAh, you know,\u201d mused Wyldstyle, \u201cwe should probably watch where we step.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot a bad idea,\u201d I replied as I turned into Tora-Onna and raised my foot, inching it towards the edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat are you doing?\u201d asked Hongo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTreading softly,\u201d I replied. As my foot neared the edge, a path popped up for us. \u201cThis way,\u201d I declared. We continued on the path until large islands appeared with a vent on one, a blank space on the other, and floating steps with three pads making up each step, leading up to the islands. There was a bridge of three cubes at different heights in between the islands. \u201cWe\u2019re tackling the vent first,\u201d I directed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cScale Keystone, activate!\u201d called Hongo as we approached. \u201cLet\u2019s see, who wants to get the dangling bit?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEr, I\u2019ll get it, if it\u2019s not too much trouble,\u201d whispered Flora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right, lessen scale of\u2026what\u2019s your name?\u201d asked Hongo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFlora,\u201d replied Flora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLessen scale of Flora!\u201d called Hongo. Flora shrunk, then took her position under the vent. \u201cEnlarge scales of Flora and Death!\u201d announced Hongo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo I\u2019m transferring the patch?\u201d whispered Death as she and Flora grew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s correct,\u201d confirmed Hongo. \u201cNow, who\u2019s going inside the vent and rewiring everything?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAllow me,\u201d offered Lukas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLessen scale of Lukas!\u201d called Hongo. Lukas shrunk and started crawling around as Death transferred the patch as needed. Soon, Lukas managed to rewire everything, leading to pressure plates popping up on the cubes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy turn,\u201d declared Batman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBe our guest,\u201d I replied as Hongo got everyone back to their correct heights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShift Keystone, activate!\u201d announced Batman. \u201cCyan, above the center cube! Magenta, above the left cube! Yellow, above the right cube! Shift! War! Yellow! Shift! Pestilence! Magenta! Shift! Famine! Cyan!\u201d The Horsemen that were called out soon went through the portals and they landed on the pressure plates. The cubes lit up and threw their passengers off. The cubes sunk into the white waves and something rose in their place. Xiomara, Hongo, and Emmanuel were surprised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGOZER?!\u201d yelped Hongo. It was the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow did HE get out?!\u201d asked Emmanuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGet ready!\u201d warned Xiomara as the three got into their henshin poses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHold on!\u201d I halted. I picked up a stone and threw it at Gozer, or rather, the statue of Gozer. The stone bounced off and \u201cGozer\u201d didn\u2019t even flinch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, it\u2019s NOT Gozer,\u201d sighed Richard in relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah, but it IS farther and higher from us!\u201d hissed Emily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI see some moving platforms!\u201d called Sophie. There were three of them, and one was flaming, one was icy, and one was electrified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think I see a control panel for them!\u201d reported Brendan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll take care of it!\u201d insisted Charline. \u201cI\u2019ll just need to get on the fire platform. No biggy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat is your name?\u201d asked Gandalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCharline,\u201d replied Charline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cElemental Keystone, activate!\u201d announced Gandalf. \u201cElement of fire, Charline!\u201d A red aura surrounded Charline and she safely stepped onto the flaming platform. She made it to the other side and fiddled with the controls, allowing the platforms to go normal. We took turns getting to where Charline was. The rest of Flora\u2019s classmates introduced themselves to Gandalf as we waited. When we all joined together, more platforms came up. I stepped on one and it turned red before falling back into the white sea. I hopped onto another one and it flashed green as it stayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOkay, falling platform time,\u201d I gulped. I used my feet like radar, checking which ones were bad so we could cross safely. After a few more guesses, we made it to a large island with Lex-bots, mummies, Chen\u2019s goons, and flying monkeys! Oh my! \u201cWell, I DID suspect the enemy would throw resistance our way,\u201d I muttered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen let\u2019s clear it!\u201d declared Hongo as he struck his pose. We drew our i.d. tags, Lacey and the Horsemen fastened their belts, and Flora and her classmates drew out black flip phones and pressed the enter button. \u201cRider\u2026\u201d began Hongo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHenshin!\u201d we all said. Flora and her classmates slid the phones into a special slot on the belt buckle and they slid open. A colored light flashed that matched their petticoats\u2019 colors. They were surrounded by the same light and suits formed, giving them the motif of black armored Roman Centurions. Their eyes matched their petticoats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKamen Rider Herald P!\u201d began Flora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKamen Rider Herald Y!\u201d called Brenden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKamen Rider Herald O!\u201d announced Charline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKamen Rider Herald G!\u201d cheered Amelia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKamen Rider Herald B!\u201d introduced Sophie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe bring news of your defeat!\u201d they all finished as we charged. We managed to fight them off and a path appeared for us. It led to a structure with three Vortech faces. Each one lost some parts and the ones on the end had paths that were dominant in either fire or electricity, but some parts of the path swapped to the other and crawled towards us. As we cancelled our transformations, Gandalf took the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cElemental Keystone, activate!\u201d he announced. \u201cElement of fire, Gandalf! Element of lightning, Sophie!\u201d They were surrounded in their respective auras and traveled down the paths with great care. They soon arrived at their faces while Sheela took the one in the middle. When the faces were reassembled, they slid back to reveal parts of a Chroma Lock design. Gandalf had a red circle, Sheela had an orange left L-shape, and Sophie had a purple right L-shape. The paths Gandalf and Sophie took soon went to normal as the Chroma Discs came into play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChroma Keystone, activate!\u201d called Wyldstyle. \u201cChroma Lock, reveal! Chroma! Red! Sophie! Chroma! Blue! Gandalf! Chroma! Yellow! Sheela!\u201d They went into their respective paint blobs and joined us to make the Chroma design. Gandalf went into the right L-shape while Sheela went to the left one. Sophie first went into the circle, then joined Gandalf, then joined Sheela. Stairs appeared for us to get to the top of the structure to show three more cubes with pressure plates on top. They did something unusual. First, the right cube flashed, then the left, then the center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a pattern,\u201d observed Batman. \u201cI got this. Shift Keystone, activate! Yellow, above the right cube! Magenta, above the left cube! Cyan, above the middle cube! Shift! Amelia! Yellow!\u201d Amelia landed on the right pressure plate. \u201cShift! Amelia! Magenta!\u201d Amelia landed on the left one. \u201cShift! Amelia! Cyan!\u201d Amelia landed on the last one, then was tossed back to us as the cubes moved aside to make a path for us. Then, the DeLorean flew in and landed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis isn\u2019t Hill Valley!\u201d called the driver, Marty. More road then appeared for him. \u201cWell, back to the future for me,\u201d shouted Marty as he engaged the Time Circuits. He then got up to 88 miles an hour and vanished with only flaming tire trails to prove he was there. As we traveled down the path, more trick platforms came up. I led the way, a rather winding way, over to another arena island, this time with Orcs, Cybermen, Lord Business\u2019s robots, and Jackal mummies!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRider\u2026\u201d began Hongo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHenshin!\u201d we all announced. We soon got underway with the fight. The enemy just kept coming and coming and coming! It was ridiculous!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCome on!\u201d whispered Death. \u201cFall already!\u201d Soon enough, she got her wish as the enemy forces stopped coming. A path extended for us and another vent with three floating cubes appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cScale Keystone, activate!\u201d called Ichig\u014d. \u201cLessen scale of Herald O! Enlarge scale of Gandalf!\u201d The respective targets grew or shrank. Herald O crawled into the vent while Gandalf transferred a patch as needed and lifted hanging pieces. Herald O had thrown Chroma discs out of the vents. A floating version of the Chroma Lock appeared in the air. The circle was red, the left L-shape was purple, and the right L-shape was green. \u201cNormalize scale of Herald O and Gandalf!\u201d announced Ichig\u014d. Everyone returned to normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChroma Keystone, activate! Chroma lock, reveal!\u201d called Wyldstyle. The design appeared. \u201cChroma! Royal! Red! Chroma! War! Yellow! Chroma! Famine! Blue!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI never thought I\u2019d see the day!\u201d laughed Herald O. \u201cMy House Head has turned yellow!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019ll be doing 500 laps around the Academy for that joke!\u201d snarled War as all requested Riders stepped into their paint. I stood in the circle, then joined Famine in the left L-shape, then she joined War in the right L-shape. A path was unlocked, leading to the cubes as they rotated. We all arrived at the end of the path and Batman got ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShift Keystone, activate!\u201d he announced. \u201cMagenta, beneath the left cube! Cyan, beneath the center cube! Yellow, beneath the right cube!\u201d Beneath? Batman explained. \u201cThere are gravity generators on the switches. If I time them right, my targets will land on the switches and be fine.\u201d He waited\u2026waited\u2026\u201cShift! Apocalypse! Yellow!\u201d Apocalypse landed on the generator switch and stayed on it as Batman predicted. He waited some more\u2026\u201cShift! Gandalf! Cyan!\u201d Gandalf went through. Batman waited a little longer\u2026\u201cShift! Wyldstyle! Magenta!\u201d She landed on her switch and they were all thrown off to allow plants to grow on the cubes. A path popped up beneath the cubes as a dragon made of fiery sparkles, like it came out of fireworks, flew towards us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot again!\u201d yelped Gandalf. \u201cAnd this time, it\u2019s not that fool of a Took and his friend!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDUCK!\u201d I warned. As if I needed to! We got out of the way of the dragon as it set the path ahead of us ablaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026My turn, I see,\u201d mused Gandalf. \u201cElemental Keystone, activate! Element of water, Royal!\u201d A blue aura surrounded me as I forged ahead, dousing the flames as I went. When I reached the end, the path just stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMaybe I can find something,\u201d I muttered. \u201cLocate Keystone, activate!\u201d I said. \u201cInitiate rift detection!\u201d I didn\u2019t get very far as the rift was at the edge. \u201cAlready?\u201d I asked. \u201cAll right. Identify source of rift!\u201d The information beamed into my head. \u201cLocate help from W-1-Z-4-R-D-0-F-0-Z!\u201d Two turns from the Yellow Brick Road appeared. We traveled down the path and arrived at an area with a wall going straight up. I then felt something in my head. \u201cAnother rift?\u201d I muttered. \u201cInitiate rift detection!\u201d I then found it. \u201cIdentify source of rift!\u201d I said. The info beamed into my head. \u201cOh no,\u201d I mumbled. \u201cHER place! Locate help from P-0-R-T-4-L!\u201d Platforms from that world appeared, allowing us to scale the wall. We then arrived at platforms that vanished if you stepped on the wrong one again. My turn. I led the way, and a path appeared when we scaled it, leading all the way to the citadel. \u201cA straight shot from here!\u201d I assured everyone. I then bumped into a guy. He was Japanese and had a pink camera hanging from a strap around his neck. \u201cGomen!\u201d (short sorry) I apologized. The guy didn\u2019t respond, he just looked at me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTsukasa Kadoya!\u201d breathed Sengoku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSomeone I should know?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s better known as Kamen Rider Decade,\u201d explained Sengoku. \u201cHe can turn into his nine previous predecessors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cActually, I turn into all of the Heisei Riders now,\u201d said Tsukasa as he pulled out a belt. The center of it was pink and had symbols around a circular window in the center. It had the word \u201cDecade\u201d in all caps on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHold on, I thought the Decadriver was white!\u201d protested Sengoku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s been upgraded,\u201d replied Tsukasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf you can turn into past and present heroes,\u201d I praised, \u201cyou must be well renowned.\u201d Tsukasa said nothing. \u201cI am Megumi Hishikawa, Queen of the Feudal Nerd Society and Kamen Rider Royal\/Vortex.\u201d Still nothing. \u201c\u2026I seek any available help to defeat Vortech!\u201d I said loudly. Nothing again. \u201cYou are clearly a hero! Will you join us in our fight?!\u201d Nothing once more. \u201c\u2026You make me sad. So be it. Let\u2019s go.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStay where you are!\u201d demanded Tsukasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPardon me?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo one passes me!\u201d declared Tsukasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have no quarrel with you, fellow Kamen Rider,\u201d I assured, \u201cbut we must get to the citadel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen you will die!\u201d threatened Tsukasa. Will we now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t respond well to threats on my life!\u201d I snarled. \u201cTsukasa Kadoya, I command you to stand aside!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI move for no one!\u201d replied. Tsukasa as he took a card out from his coat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKisama!\u201d (Japanese way of calling someone scum or bastard) I growled. \u201cWho do you think you are?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cT\u014drisugari no Kamen Rider da,\u201d (Just a passing-through Kamen Rider) answered Tsukasa as he revealed the card. It had a magenta helmet on it with green eyes and what looked like black cards going through the head with the middle one having a yellow light. \u201cOboeteoke!\u201d (Remember that!) He then pulled on the sides of the Decadriver, making the pink part rotate 90\u2070 to the left and reveal a slot on top. \u201cHenshin!\u201d announced Tsukasa as he inserted the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKamen Ride,\u201d called the Decadriver. He then closed it, making the pink part rotate back. \u201cDecade!\u201d announced the Decadriver. Images of Kamen Riders appeared before they joined to Tsukasa, forming a suit. It was magenta and the helmet from the card appeared. Kamen Rider Decade was ready. He dusted his hands before attacking me. We engaged in a punch-block duel for a while until he grabbed the book device on his left hip and unfolded parts of it to make a sword. I summoned my sword and we dueled like that for an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can do this all day!\u201d I boasted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSomehow, I doubt it,\u201d replied Decade. He then shoved me backwards and opened the Decadriver again, swapping the card for a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAttack Ride,\u201d called the Decadriver. He closed it again. \u201cSlash!\u201d He slashed downwards, causing sparks to fly off of me. I then punched him, getting his i.d. tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou turn into the other Heisei Riders, correct?\u201d I remarked. \u201cWait \u2018til you get a load of me!\u201d I swapped my i.d. tag for the new one and two images of Decade\u2019s head appeared. One of them had pink eyes and had a card on his forehead. I chose the standard helmet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDecade Steel!\u201d announced Vortoranii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKamen Ride: Decade!\u201d called the Decadriver\u2019s voice as the wardrobe closed on me and changed my suit armor. I evoked Decade once it opened. I then mimed put a card into an imaginary Decadriver. \u201cAttack Ride: Slash!\u201d I then slashed across Decade\u2019s chest and knocked him backwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re right,\u201d I commented. \u201cI AM pressed for time. I have a fight with Vortech, not you. He intends to destroy our worlds to make a new one. If me and my friends don\u2019t stop him, your days as a Kamen Rider are over.\u201d Decade was giving me full eye contact, then started laughing. \u201cWhat, may I ask, is so funny?\u201d I demanded<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEven when it\u2019s YOUR goals on the line, you still think about others!\u201d laughed Decade. \u201cYou win!\u201d I temporarily lost my balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEh?!\u201d I called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was testing you!\u201d replied Decade as he picked himself up. \u201cI thought a newbie like you would only be concerned about YOUR goals and no one else\u2019s. But, instead, you place your friends at the forefront. You placed ME at the forefront! I\u2019m joining you. Only a hero can defeat Vortech.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026You smug, self-righteous b*****d!\u201d I said, angry at him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
