It was sealed in the Master Emerald by an Echidna woman called Tikal, but its world-ending grudge lasted for millennia. Eggman released it one time and, for a while, controlled Chaos until it absorbed six Chaos Emeralds. When it absorbed the last one, it became a giant monster. The only one who could calm it down was Sonic as he turned Super.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Don\u2019t think I wanna run into him,\u201d muttered Kup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat about us?!\u201d laughed a well-known voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEggman?\u201d asked Cream. It was, indeed, Dr. Eggman, along with Laserbeak, Pale Bayleaf, and Black Narcissus. Pale Bayleaf rubbed his head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStealth, my dear doctor,\u201d he grumbled, \u201cI trust that word is in your vocabulary?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh no, not today!\u201d snarled Sludge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDr. Eggman, leave this area immediately!\u201d demanded Topaz as everyone prepared for battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, because I\u2019m well-known for following G.U.N. orders,\u201d snarked Eggman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Emerald is ours,\u201d squawked Laserbeak. \u201cSurrender and die!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEr, don\u2019t you mean \u2018or\u2019?\u201d asked Skyburst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI know what I said!\u201d The enemy then attacked, causing all sorts of mayhem. With the ruins collapsing at random intervals, it made the fight harder. Just then, Jumpstream spotted something, it was a flash of white light. Her optics focused on it and she could see a clear shape!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCHAOS EMERALD!\u201d she called as she pointed to the light. Unfortunately, EVERYONE heard that. They all made a dash for the Emerald. It became a bit of a brawl, but Cream managed to get the Emerald to a higher vantage point. That turned out to be a rather harmful idea as something knocked her to the ground, forcing her to drop the Emerald. Everyone turned to see Sideways and his Mini-cons standing over the young rabbit. The Mini-con named Rook snatched up the Emerald.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, well, well, if it ain\u2019t the Auto-boobs and the Decepti-clowns,\u201d scoffed Sideways. \u201cHey, looky! It\u2019s one of Soundwave\u2019s pets. How\u2019s the coping process going?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBetter than your plans to destroy this planet, I can tell you that,\u201d replied Laserbeak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd how\u2019s Optimus handling that scrap-pile\u2019s death, Auto-dorks?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe and Chromia are after your specific tailpipe!\u201d snarled Sludge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh? So he knows? Pity, I wanted to see him mistake the Decepticons as the rust bucket\u2019s killers. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Now, if you don\u2019t mind, I\u2019ve got an Emerald to bring home.\u201d Laserbeak charged at Sideways and swiped him with his talon-like fingers, then changed tactics and fired on Rook, making him drop the Emerald. Laserbeak then snatched it up, then tossed Cream towards the Autobots and their friends before firing on the building they were standing on. Our heroes scrambled to avoid crashing into the water as Eggman and the two Metarex leveled their weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSTOP!\u201d called a voice. A small ball of light then knocked the villains to the ground before catching the heroes. Cream felt a warmth cover her body as everyone was carried to safety. The light then faded as the Autobots and their friends touched the ground. It revealed a small pink and white creature covered in fur floating in the air thanks to tiny wings. The creature then turned towards Sideways. \u201cServant of Dark Gaia, you won\u2019t win this one!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026I\u2019m sorry, little one, I think you\u2019re lost,\u201d remarked Sideways. \u201cBesides, he\u2019s really called Unicron.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt matters not! You won\u2019t defile the Chaos Emerald!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWait, are you that \u2018Light Gaia\u2019 thing?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s my real name, but you can call me Chip!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026That\u2019s a dumb name.\u201d Laserbeak then fired on Sideways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGuys, hold him down,\u201d Sideways ordered his Mini-cons. They all leapt onto Laserbeak and brought him down. \u201cHey, remember what my function was back on Xitra?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou were a corrections bot, aye?\u201d recalled Laserbeak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBingo. I take wayward bots and set them on the right path. With Mini-cons, I put them into my hive. Look, we all want something greater than ourselves, I get that, but we all have our place.\u201d His Mini-cons then extended needles from their fingers and plunged them into Laserbeak\u2019s head. \u201cNow, it\u2019s time to teach you what your\u2026\u201d Sideways then got a message in his head saying \u201cUnable to Connect\u201d. \u201c\u2026What?\u201d he muttered to himself. \u201cIt\u2019s time to teach\u2026!\u201d Same message. \u201cThat can\u2019t be\u2026it\u2019s time to teach you what your place is!\u201d Same message once more. \u201cOh for\u2026what\u2019s going on?! You got a Spark or something?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAye, I do. Remember when we came into contact with a volatile Allspark all those years ago?\u201d Sideways thought back to when the Allspark exploded with energy. After a few seconds, he realized what that energy was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Oh! \u2026Errors have been made.\u201d Laserbeak bucked his captors off and then transformed before attaching himself to Sideways\u2019 arm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOoh! What\u2019s this?!\u201d asked Laserbeak\u2019s voice in Sideways\u2019 head. \u201cWhy, this looks like all the code related to motor control!\u201d Sideways resisted, but his arms weren\u2019t listening. He was then forced to key in a command of three zeroes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow, I know what you\u2019re thinking!\u201d yelped Sideways. \u201c\u2018Should I command his Mini-cons to self-destruct?\u2019 And the answer may surprise you!\u201d The command was finished and the Mini-cons\u2019 heads exploded. Laserbeak disconnected as Sideways writhed in pain, clutching his head and screaming. He then fell to his knees and glared at Laserbeak. \u201cDo you know how long repairs are gonna be?! \u2026SNAP!\u201d Sideways then turned into a cloud of static, surrounded the dead Mini-cons, then returned to his solid state with his Mini-cons fully repaired. \u201cUnder normal circumstances, I would be in the repair bay for a long time, awaiting new Mini-cons. Thanks to Unicron, what you did was a fruitless effort. But, if it\u2019s any consolation\u2026that hurt like the Pit!\u201d Laserbeak decided that enough was enough, so he flew back to his teammates as they fired on the Autobots while Chip surrounded them in an energy dome that allowed only the Autobots\u2019 fire to leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMates, we\u2019ve got our prize! Let\u2019s leave!\u201d called Laserbeak. Eggman keyed in a command in his Eggmobile and a Bridge portal opened. The Decepticon and his team left the battlefield, leaving both the Terrorcon and the Autobots bewildered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDid\u2026did we just get\u2026distracted?!\u201d protested Sludge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll figure out who\u2019s to blame later!\u201d snapped Kup. \u201cWe gotta get out of here!\u201d Kup radioed Teletraan. \u201cWe need a Ground Bridge!\u201d A portal opened up and the Autobots, their friends, and Chip entered, leaving Sideways and his Mini-cons to wonder what just happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
