\u201cMegatron, no,\u201d remarked Starscream as he fired his null ray right into Megatron\u2019s chest, winding the Decepticon Lord. \u201c\u2026You have no idea how much I\u2019ve wanted to do that!\u201d He then addressed his old comrades. \u201cAttention, idiots! You are all doomed to fail and be devoured by Unicron! Skywarp and I want no part of it! We\u2019re leaving this world and claiming the TRUE Decepticon Empire as our allies! Deathsaurus, get us out of here!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs you command, Lord Starscream,\u201d replied Deathsaurus. The teleport beam then snatched everyone up and left Megatron, Thundercracker, and the four Autobots to themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026FINE! I HOPE THE D.J.D. TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB!\u201d shouted Megatron to the heavens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Megatron was fixed up from the shot Starscream took. Once he was cleared, he toured the base\u2026what was available to him. As he walked, he noticed Galvatron packing, ready for a swap the next day. \u201cGalvatron, a word,\u201d called Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA word or an attempt to give me a beating?\u201d replied Galvatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Not dignifying that. Look, did Starscream get involved at all in your time?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah, he tried to serve Unicron. Didn\u2019t end well. Killed all the Seekers right there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Mind elaborating?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019d rather show than tell.\u201d Galvatron then pulled out a cortical psychic patch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Very well.\u201d Megatron opened the back of his head and Galvatron plugged one end of the patch into it. He then opened the back of his own head and plugged the other end into it, sending both bots into a trance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Megatron woke up in a cave and saw Galvatron in a mess. His armor was torn, and he was leaking Energon. \u201cWhat in\u2026?!\u201d spluttered Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRelax, these are just my memories,\u201d assured Galvatron in a tone that didn\u2019t match his condition. He then groaned in pain as Starscream entered the cave, passing right through Megatron. \u201cYou\u2026traitor!\u201d gasped Galvatron to Starscream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re not going to accomplish anything by standing against Unicron!\u201d replied Starscream. He approached the center of the cave. \u201cI won\u2019t let myself be destroyed so damn easily. You\u2019re going to be witness to this event, unlike the others.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2026event?!\u201d grunted Galvatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy audience with Unicron.\u201d Starscream then carved out a runic circle in the floor and jabbed himself in the arm with his finger. He then drew it back and revealed purple liquid instead of pink. Megatron, observing the whole thing, realized what Starscream did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Dark Energon?\u201d he asked Galvatron. His future self nodded as Starscream put his finger to the circle. It glowed purple and bathed the cave in darkness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI feel your presence! Share your very Anti-spark! I call on you as my Lord and Master, Oh Mighty Unicron!\u201d Seven pillars of purple clouds then appeared before six of them turned into the Terrorcons, sans Rodimus Unicronus, while the seventh grew and grew until a massive upper torso with a horned head appeared. Megatron looked on in fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUnicron!\u201d he whispered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho would speak to me?\u201d demanded Unicron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour servant most humble!\u201d answered the Seeker. \u201cStarscream, Air Commander of the Decepticons and your very herald! The one who wielded the Dark Energon which binds us to awaken you once again! The Prophecy has been fulfilled! It is only the beginning of what we shall accomplish\u2026together! For you shall rule this planet and those who walk upon it through me\u2026!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPRIDEFUL FOOL!\u201d roared Unicron. Starscream gulped. \u201cHow dare you think yourself capable of summoning MY life force! I rise because I<\/em> have deemed it my time!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMaster,\u201d whimpered Starscream, \u201cI did not mean to overstep\u2026!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSILENCE, WORM! I have no need of your LOWLY assistance.\u201d Unicron then raised his hand, causing Starscream to levitate. The Terrorcons then drew their weapons, causing Starscream to fear for his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPLEASE, MY LORD! I EXIST ONLY TO SERVE YOU!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIf you did, you would have told us where the Matrix was,\u201d scoffed Nemesis Prime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIs that what I sense?!\u201d snarled Unicron. \u201cThe taint of Primus still exists?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt turns out Optimus never had the Matrix on his person,\u201d explained Nemesis. \u201cHe hid it away before a successor was chosen. A Velocitronian by the name of Hot Rod.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSome\u2026Elite guard!\u201d chuckled Galvatron. It was clear that Unicron and his Terrorcons saw him, but they elected to ignore him and continue to berate Starscream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat Velocitronian is now Rodimus, the Last of the Primes and our sworn enemy\u2026!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou profess loyalty to me,\u201d interrupted Unicron, \u201cyet allow a disciple of Primus to LIVE!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI will destroy him for you! His screams will be heard\u2026!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI grow weary of your prattle! Surely, if you had the power to destroy this Prime, you would have done so already! I will deal with him myself.\u201d Unicron then clenched his fist and Starscream exploded, the shrapnel burying itself into the cave walls. Megatron then felt something pull at him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He then woke up in Galvatron\u2019s quarters and shook his head. \u201cWho else is left?\u201d he asked his future. Galvatron sighed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Ravage, Knock-out, Rumble, and I are the only Decepticons. Rodimus has Ironhide, and Ratchet. The organics\u2026the only fighters left are our apprentice, Silver, a pyrokinetic cat named Blaze, Vector, and Amy. The other fighters\u2026gone, dead or in the thrall of Unicron. When Vector had no choice but to kill a possessed Charmy\u2026\u201d Galvatron stopped to wipe tears away. \u201c\u2026Now do you see why I\u2019m not so eager to restart the Decepticon Empire in my time?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026I believe so. \u2026However, that is YOUR time and there are some obvious differences between us.
