A gorilla knuckled his way through the jungle. As he did, he came to a clearing with strange beasts. They were shaped like him, but they made noises he did not understand. As he observed them moving things around the strangely-colored mountain, he felt footsteps near him. He turned to see a beast he knew all too well, the one we know as a T-rex. He roared and pounded his chest in an attempt to scare the beast off. The T-rex\u2019s reaction, however, surprised him. He looked serene, unlike the one he knew. This piqued the gorilla\u2019s interest, so he followed him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A rhino looked around the plants for something to eat. He then found a good patch of leafy plants and started munching. As he ate, he noticed a triceratops stomping through. The triceratops looked at the rhino and moved his head in a way to direct the rhino to follow him. The rhino considered, then decided to follow the triceratops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A tiger prowled through the jungle, looking for prey to kill and feast on. As he moved, he noticed a brontosaurus lumbering through the jungle. The tiger noticed that the brontosaurus had seen him but looked unconcerned. This confused the tiger. Prey should be very worried. He then figured the size difference between them was a good reason. The brontosaurus then leaned his neck towards the tiger and nudged him to go ahead of him. The tiger growled, not liking being directed, but he did as requested and went ahead of the brontosaurus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A peregrine falcon flew the skies, looking for prey. As they flew, a Pteranodon flew over them. He didn\u2019t make any aggressive moves against them, so they were curious as to why he flew over them in the first place. For the moment, the falcon put hunger to the back of their mind and flew after the Pteranodon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A rat scurried through the undergrowth looking for something, ANYTHING to eat. He was also looking for a good place to hide. As he scurried through, he bumped into a velociraptor\u2019s leg. He chattered in a threatening manner, warning that he would bite if he was cornered, but the velociraptor appeared unconcerned. She simply stomped off. The rat looked perplexed, as if the dinosaur was familiar. He then followed the raptor. He wasn\u2019t sure, but the noise that sounded like \u201cvir-min\u201d made him twitch in annoyance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A cheetah ran through the open plains, looking for a good kill. As he did, he saw a stegosaurus lumbering along. He crouched, thinking it was a good kill, then the stegosaurus managed to sidestep the cheetah\u2019s leap! The cheetah was stunned! As he tried to bring the stegosaurus down, the other dinosaurs led their beasts to the plains. The noise of all the animals echoed throughout the plains. The t-rex then roared for quiet. Once everyone stopped making noises, the t-rex spoke. \u201cHear me, Maximals!\u201d he called. \u201cI know you\u2019re scared now, but me and my Dyno-bots can help you, just as you helped us long ago.\u201d The t-rex, Grimlock, then activated his computer. \u201cAccess Maximal Core Consciousness. Passcode: Grimlock!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPasscode accepted,\u201d came multiple voices. The animals roared in fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSILENCE!\u201d shouted Grimlock. It was noisy enough to get the animals to stop again. \u201c\u2026Much better. Now listen well\u2026and learn as we once did from you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Back with the Predacons and Decepticons, the villains looked like they were preparing for a big game hunt. \u201cOh, I\u2019ve longed to hunt prey!\u201d chuckled Megatron as he examined an automatic weapon. He turned to his allies. \u201cEveryone, move out!\u201d Eggman grabbed a rifle and caressed the stock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHunting helpless Transformers with automatic weapons and various predators at your side! Now THAT\u2019S a sport!\u201d Eggman laughed as he fired some shots into the air. As they moved out, some of the Decepticons were banging drums to try and scare the Maximals into leaving their hiding places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOnce, we were just robots in disguise,\u201d Grimlock continued at the plains. His audience seemed more receptive. \u201cBut, on this world, we beast machines have become something more! A program from Cybertron was designed to help us remember who we are and block anything that resembled the functions of our alt-modes. With beast modes, that has proven to be an error. Our beast forms are part of us. Fighting their nature only made our urges stronger. We must accept both beast and robot forms. Feel your core consciousness. Find the programming block and delete it! Bring your beast and robot modes together! Let them work in harmony\u2026and let them both make you stronger than you were before!\u201d The tiger growled in an animalistic tone before it became more\u2026human, for lack of a better word. He then smiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, the student has become the master,\u201d chuckled the tiger. The falcon then squawked before shaking their head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPhew!\u201d they sighed. \u201cThat\u2019s a processor-ache I don\u2019t want again!\u201d The gorilla then roared before he massaged his head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI understand now!\u201d he breathed. The rat chattered before speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRat. Robot. Rat! Robot!\u201d he exclaimed. \u201cI\u2019m a robot AND a rat! Yeah, yeah, I LIKE it!\u201d The rhino lowed before talking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPhew! That\u2019s better!\u201d he sighed. The cheetah yowled, then started laughing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think I get it now!\u201d he cheered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGrimlock, old friend,\u201d called the tiger, \u201cit\u2019s great to see you again!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI thought it was you,\u201d chuckled Grimlock. \u201cWhat other big cat would be named Tigatron? And is that Airazor over there?\u201d He nodded to the falcon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSure is!\u201d they answered. \u201cLooks like you\u2019re comfortable with your beast mode.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt took some genetic work to keep our rage down,\u201d explained Grimlock. \u201cNow, you two, I know, but I don\u2019t know about the rest of you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen let\u2019s introduce ourselves,\u201d declared the gorilla. \u201cI\u2019m Kong Primal, head of Maximal Security and Captain of the Axalon<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd don\u2019t think of just calling me a cheetah,\u201d called the cheetah. \u201cI\u2019m Cheetor!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cInteresting,\u201d mused Grimlock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cInteresting?!\u201d protested Cheetor. \u201cGrimlock, the word is spot-on smooth!\u201d He then chuckled smugly. \u201cIt\u2019s a crime!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cEh, bit tacky,\u201d remarked the rat. \u201cYou never had taste, did ya, kid? Now THIS!\u201d The rat stood up on his hind legs and puffed out his chest. \u201cTHIS is what class is all about! Grimlock, call me Rattrap!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI would rather call you VERMIN!\u201d snarled Slash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cChopperface?!\u201d yelped Rattrap as recognition flashed across his muzzle. \u201cI don\u2019t believe it! YOU came back!? That\u2019s it, I\u2019m scrapping her!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRattrap, please!\u201d called Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPlease?! Ah, for booting up cold! The only thing worse than a stinking Pred is a stinking Decepticon!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cShut up, Rattrap, or I\u2019ll cut meeces to pieces!\u201d snarled Cheetor as he flashed his claws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cEase back, Cheetor,\u201d rumbled the rhino. \u201cLiving large is for forms like me, Rhinox.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYeah, and just consider yourself lucky I didn\u2019t get rough on youse!\u201d taunted Rattrap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cModerate your conflict circuits, Maximals!\u201d called Kong. He was clearly annoyed with the whole situation. He turned to Grimlock. \u201cForgive my teammates\u2019 rudeness. We were stuck in beast mode for so long.\u201d Explosions then echoed across the plains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhoa! Talk about your nick of time!\u201d yelped Cheetor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s Prime and his team!\u201d reported Swoop. \u201cThey\u2019re fighting Megatron\u2019s forces, and a team of animals led by a purple t-rex!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSaurion!\u201d growled Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRemember, don\u2019t fight your beast instincts!\u201d reminded Grimlock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHe\u2019s right,\u201d agreed Tigatron. \u201cWe must let them help our robot forms, both in battle and in peace. \u2026But for now, let\u2019s get ourselves to the battlefield and slag some bots!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMaximals, move out! We\u2019re helping the Autobots!\u201d called Kong as they mounted Rhinox, Grimlock, and Slag.
