\u201cHERE THEY COME!\u201d called Scorponok. Terrorsaur, Inferno, and Waspinator then opened fire, their shots exiting the lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI SAID ON MY COMMAND!\u201d roared Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHOLD YOUR FIRE, YOU FOOLS!\u201d shouted Saurion. \u201cWAIT FOR A TARGET!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The shots died down as Slash hoisted Tarantulas up by the head. He had regained consciousness by then. \u201cAnd just what, pray tell, do you intend to do with those trigger-happy lunatics?\u201d he asked. Slash declined to answer and just spoke to Rattrap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCover me, Vermin,\u201d she growled. She then tugged Tarantulas with her and approached the lab entrance. Rattrap then spotted a pipe near him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Well, no sense in denying my beast instincts now,\u201d he mused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDo not fire, Villains!\u201d shouted Slash as she shoved Tarantulas ahead of her before holding her rotary sword to his neck. \u201cI have a hostage!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy, so you do,\u201d purred Saurion. He then prepared to fire his hip rockets!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNO!\u201d shouted Megatron as he kicked Saurion, cancelling the rockets\u2019 firing sequence. As Saurion massaged his hips, Megatron berated him. \u201cI don\u2019t know if you recall, but we need him! Want a list why?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAstound me with it,\u201d muttered Saurion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOne: he\u2019s the only one who knows how to make more of the virus! If you want to infect the rest of the Maximals, you need him alive! Two: He\u2019s still in the middle of his research into the Omega Keys!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCyber Planet Keys.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNOT THE POINT! We still need him to complete his work on that front! Three: Shockwave needs a lab assistant!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAllow me to counter your list with my own! One: Shockwave is replacement enough for him! She can decode his data-trax and make it herself, possibly make it better. Two: I had Scorponok take over that project! Three, the most important bit: We intercepted a little message of his!\u201d He then pressed a button on a nearby console and played the message. Tarantulas goggled in horror. \u201cIt was on an open frequency, to answer the question you\u2019re keeping locked behind your chelicerae. Don\u2019t bother saying it wasn\u2019t you, we ran vocal matches and Spark checks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cS-Saurion, I can explain!\u201d begged Tarantulas. Saurion then fired his hip rockets, causing Tarantulas and Slash to dive out of the way. Inferno and Terrorsaur then grabbed him by the arms to hold him in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow, are there any other stupid Maximal or Autobot ploys you wish to try?\u201d Saurion asked Slash. A ceiling tile then fell as if it was kicked down from someone. Rattrap then landed on a table, kicked Saurion, making Animatros\u2019 Cyber Planet Key fall from his subspace pocket, then Rattrap grabbed it and rolled to another part of the lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow\u2019s this, Scale-belly?!\u201d He then fired his gun and knocked the enemy\u2019s guns out of their hands. \u201cHa HA, gotcha!\u201d Just then, they all heard a noise that sounded like someone winding up for a sneeze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTAKE COVER!\u201d shouted Megatron. The sneeze was accompanied by a wall-destroying Energon discharge. The wall to the right of the lab\u2019s door was nothing but rubble and Optimus\u2019 forces stepped inside with Hydran wiping his nose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNobody move!\u201d ordered the Prime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey! Boss Truck!\u201d called Rattrap as he handed Kong the Cyber Planet Key in a casual manner. \u201cNice of you to show, but, eh, we\u2019ve already been there and done that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat the rodent is trying to say,\u201d snarled Slash, \u201cis that the situation is under control.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think not, no!\u201d growled Saurion. \u201cFor I still have\u2026the counter-virus!\u201d he then pulled out the container. Megatron then leveled a fusion cannon at it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUnless you lot convert to your alt-modes and surrender immediately,\u201d threatened the Decepticon Lord, \u201cthe Flame Convoy goes offline\u2026PERMANENTLY!\u201d Hydran then place a hand on Kong and Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t\u2026\u201d he groaned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026No choice,\u201d sighed Kong. \u201cRight now, our first priority is your survival.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEveryone, transform and surrender,\u201d muttered Optimus. He and his army then transformed into their vehicle or beast modes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere are times,\u201d grunted Slash, \u201cwhen I would prefer to be a Decepticon!\u201d She then went to beast mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou see? A bargaining chip is ALWAYS useful!\u201d Saurion remarked to Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI suppose you DID have some merit,\u201d mused Megatron. He then turned to his foes. \u201cBut, now the game is over and\u2026\u201d Hydran moaned pitifully and sat down so he could clutch his stomach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s wrong?\u201d asked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWild bean vines,\u201d groaned Hydran. \u201cHard to digest!\u201d He then got up and moved around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDO NOT TURN YOUR BACK ON ME, MAXIMAL SCUM!\u201d roared Saurion. Optimus then noticed that Hydran was rotating in a way that looked like he was aiming his rear. A thought then struck the young Prime and it made his holo-form\u2019s face display fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBack up, back up, BACK UP!\u201d he ordered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWait, why are you\u2026\u201d Megatron then realized what Hydran was doing! \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t!\u201d The instant his rear was pointed directly at Saurion, he raised his tail! Saurion then got the idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh no! Not that!\u201d he begged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRETREAT!\u201d Megatron\u2019s order came too little, too late! The rear-based Energon discharge launched him and his forces out of the lab and into the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBLEARGH!\u201d gagged Kong as he tried to wave the stench away from his nose. \u201cThat did it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet\u2019s get out of here!\u201d called Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot without the counter-virus!\u201d interjected Rattrap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGotcha!\u201d cheered Grimlock as he picked up the container in his teeth. Everyone then left the lab at top speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They were back in Fortress Maximus when Hydran had the counter-virus given to him via an IV needle. Ratchet got readings that made him smile. \u201cHe\u2019s responding well to the counter-virus,\u201d he reported to Optimus. \u201cA little rest and he\u2019ll be good to go in two hours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd the Cyber Planet Key\u2019s currently under heavy guard,\u201d replied Optimus. Tails then came up to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRepairs are almost done!\u201d he cheered. \u201cFortress Maximus will be ready to fly again within an hour!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat about Scorponok\u2019s old body?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFrom what Swoop and Airazor reported, they still haven\u2019t recovered from\u2026well\u2026the last discharge.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m not too terribly proud of that one,\u201d mumbled Hydran. Then\u2026he wound up for a sneeze!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTAKE COVER!\u201d called Ratchet. Everyone hid behind the repair berths again as Hydran reached the climax of his windup. He then sneezed! \u2026Although, there wasn\u2019t any additional noise of damage to the walls. Ratchet poked his head up to see that Hydran wasn\u2019t discharging any Energon. The sneezing fit then stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCouldn\u2019t it have cured my seasonal allergies?\u201d groaned Hydran. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief before they laughed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, with Megatron and his army, they were still draped across various trees. \u201cThis is certainly the most humiliating defeat of my entire career!\u201d groaned Saurion. \u201cYeeessss!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026This never happened!\u201d Megatron growled to Shockwave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat never happened?\u201d asked Shockwave, feeling equally embarrassed as her Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExactly.\u201d Megatron then addressed the troops. \u201cWe\u2019ve been lazy for long enough! We have repairs to make!\u201d Everyone got out of the trees, then Terrorsaur gathered up the pieces of Waspinator and put him back together. Megatron arched an eyebrow. \u201cThe way you put him back together so nonchalantly\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt happens a lot,\u201d replied Terrorsaur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWazzzpinator hazzz been called Chew Toy of Fate for mozzzt of life,\u201d grumbled Waspinator. Once everyone was divided according to tasks, Saurion addressed his Predacons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
