\u201cThere\u2019s just one problem,\u201d remarked Llyra, \u201cMegatron is no one\u2019s fool.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe\u2019s right,\u201d muttered Amy. \u201cPretty soon, he\u2019ll be putting two and two together, then what\u2019s gonna happen to Override?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amy\u2019s answer was right inside the ship. Scorponok was the first to come out of the CR Chamber and he relayed the incident to Megatron, Saurion, and Dirt Boss. \u201cWe\u2026we looked up\u2026\u201d his lower lip trembled as he felt horribly embarrassed, \u201c\u2026blam!\u201d That \u201cblam\u201d explained everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t believe this! I had her pegged!\u201d snarled Dirt Boss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, it seems we\u2019ve made a mistake by reprogramming that femme, yes!\u201d growled Saurion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFortunately, this can be rectified!\u201d declared Megatron. \u201cIt\u2019s time to bring this experiment and her rule to an end! It\u2019s time for the next plan\u2026a hostage situation!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe gotta move! And FAST!\u201d urged Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot yet!\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cIf we intervene, we\u2019re facing 29 people on that ship, including Override!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd if we don\u2019t,\u201d countered Amy, \u201cwe\u2019re facing 28 people and pieces of Override!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot unless Override is taken hostage,\u201d answered Optimus. \u201cKnowing Megatron, that\u2019s exactly the angle he\u2019s going for. And, if things go well, it\u2019ll blow up in his face and we can attack the bridge.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Override headed into an empty bridge. She was a little perturbed at the atmosphere. \u201cOh, Override!\u201d called a voice. Megatron and Dirt Boss then stepped from the shadows. \u201cSuch a pleasure to see you, Override.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAlways a treat to see you too,\u201d replied Override cautiously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTRAITOR!\u201d snarled Dirt Boss. Override got the hint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYep, you\u2019ve got a point there! Figured you\u2019d find out sooner or later! In which case, they\u2019re playing our song, boys!\u201d She grabbed them by the shoulders and brought them to her. \u201cTime to dance!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, I do so hate to disappoint,\u201d replied Megatron, \u201cespecially after Dirt Boss told me that dancing with you is not something to miss, but you wouldn\u2019t mind if I\u2026sit this one out, would you?!\u201d He shoved Override back, making her let go of them and stumble into being surrounded, the people circling her consisting of Knock-out, Scorponok, Eggman, and Morgaine! Override arched an eyebrow and smirked as she looked at the two humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, you two are back on THEIR side, now? Gee, a girl can hardly keep track!\u201d Eggman and Morgaine then gulped as they realized what she was going to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s she talking about?\u201d demanded Scorponok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t listen to her!\u201d pleaded Morgaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen I scrapped you two, the featherless chicken, and Bug Eyes,\u201d explained Override, \u201cthey were watching and smirking!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTh-That-THAT\u2019S A LIE!\u201d wailed Eggman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen how come you two are so shifty all of a sudden?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYOU WORTHLESS SACKS OF FLESH!\u201d shouted Knock-out as he leveled his gun at Morgaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are not-!\u201d Eggman\u2019s protest was cut off by Scorponok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey\u2019re smirkers! MANGLE THEM!\u201d The two bots scooped up Morgaine and Eggman each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right, I am getting sick and tired,\u201d snarled Morgaine as she prepared a spell, \u201cof being man-handled by useless hunks of iron!\u201d She fired a magic blast into Knock-out\u2019s chest. Eggman, meanwhile, jabbed an electric prod into Scorponok as his Eggmobile arrived and scooped him up while leveling a gun at the Predacon. Knock-out looked down at his chest in horror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2026you scorched my PAINT JOB!\u201d Knock-out pulled his Cyber Key out and flicked it to the ceiling. \u201cPREPARE FOR SURGERY! CYBER KEY POWER!\u201d The Key inserted itself into his arm and his hand was replaced with a circular saw-blade. Scorponok continued to try to sting Eggman as he was under fire from Eggman\u2019s vehicle while Morgaine used her magic to levitate odds and ends and threw them at Knock-out, forcing him to deflect them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNO! IDIOTS!\u201d shouted Megatron. \u201cGET HER<\/em>! SHE\u2019S<\/em> THE ENEMY!\u201d Too late. Override spin-kicked them into a groaning heap. She then fired her gun into Megatron and Dirt Boss\u2019 knees, forcing them to collapse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWell, what do you know?\u201d chuckled Override as she examined her handiwork. \u201cI win!\u201d She went on speaking as Megatron and Dirt Boss shakily picked themselves up. \u201cReprogramming me was the worst mistake you\u2019ve ever made! Now that I\u2019m a Vehicon, I\u2019m just a little too crafty for you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat\u2019s becoming\u2026painfully obvious!\u201d grunted Megatron. His optics then settled on the Transmuter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s called irony, sport!\u201d continued Override. \u201cI take over and you head straight for the recycling bin!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSo it seems,\u201d mused Megatron. \u201cEven now, you\u2019re teaching me a valuable lesson.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYeah? What\u2019s that?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSometimes, members of the Decepticons gloat too much!\u201d Megatron activated one of his concealed fusion cannons and shot Override into the Transmuter. It activated and subjected her to the same painful treatment, this time, rewriting her brain back to its original self. She shook her head as her canopy and optic lenses returned to blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWha\u2026what happened?\u201d she mumbled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAccelion buffoon!\u201d Megatron fired again, disrupting her motor functions. Dirt Boss managed to slap stasis cuffs onto her wrists. \u201cAs I said earlier, when in doubt, a hostage works! \u2026No, a trade! The Planet Cup, the Omega Key-\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPower Key,\u201d corrected Dirt Boss. Megatron glared at him before continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd Override if they surrender the Energon Crystal formation to us!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat\u2019s our que!\u201d called Optimus to his team. \u201cActivate Spark Signature dampeners! Stay quiet!\u201d The group then went into the ship, all managing not to trigger the alarms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Within Police Headquarters for Velocitron, a Mech with police-colored dragster alt-mode kibble named and a Mech with high-speed police cruiser alt-mode kibble were starting to nod off. Crime was at a low at the moment, so they were content to sleep within their office. Just then, the comms rang, waking the dragster bot up.
