Optimus and his bots were fighting Megatron and his forces at a massive ring standing on one of its sides. The firefight was intense, with neither side gaining ground. Megatron finally made a call. \u201cThis is Megatron! Decimator<\/em>! Revenge<\/em>! Whale Shark<\/em>! Aerial support!\u201d The three ships then appeared and fired their weapons at the Autobots. Eggman then beamed down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe need that thing open NOW!\u201d he urged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGo work with Shockwave! She\u2019ll give you the coordinates!\u201d Eggman then made his way to Shockwave at the controls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe work is going slowly,\u201d she reported. \u201cThese kinds of calculations require absolute concentration, no margin for error. Keep the Autobots off my back as I work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOf course, my dear,\u201d replied Eggman. He then made a call to the ships. \u201cDecimator<\/em>, Revenge<\/em>, Whale Shark<\/em>, unite into the Fatal Consequence<\/em>!\u201d The Decimator<\/em> maneuvered itself behind the Whale Shark<\/em> as the Revenge<\/em> hovered above the Decimator<\/em>. The Decimator<\/em>\u2019s prow then swung down, then forward as the Whale Shark<\/em> attached itself so the Decimator<\/em>\u2019s prow rested under the Whale Shark<\/em> as the rest of the ship nestled onto the rear. The Revenge<\/em>\u2019s saucer section then separated from its stardrive section and then replaced the Whale Shark<\/em>\u2019s bridge tower while the stardrive section attached itself to the Decimator<\/em>\u2019s rear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCombination sequence: complete,\u201d droned Eggman\u2019s computer. \u201cFatal Consequence<\/em>: online.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cEggman\u2019s ships can do THAT?!\u201d yelped Arcee. Her continued surprise was interrupted by Rhinox\u2019s weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNever mind their capabilities!\u201d he advised. The Fatal Consequence<\/em> unleashed a volley of missiles, scattering everyone. \u201cThis is suicide!\u201d called Rhinox to Optimus. \u201cWe gotta pull back!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFall back!\u201d Optimus ordered everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow that\u2019s what I want to see!\u201d chuckled Megatron as the Autobots pulled back. The Fatal Consequence<\/em> was doing an excellent job at keeping the Autobots at bay. Sonic and his team then arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cSplendid!\u201d chuckled Eggman darkly. Shockwave then turned to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCommunications with Robotropolis have been established,\u201d she reported. Eggman then headed to the communications screen to see Onslaught grinning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeen too long, Dad,\u201d he greeted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFAR too long,\u201d agreed Eggman. \u201cCan you give the necessary data for a Space Bridge to account for planetary movement?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTransferring now.\u201d The data came through and Shockwave checked it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe portal will open over the dark side of the moon,\u201d she replied. \u201cRight where we agreed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMegatron, we\u2019re ready!\u201d called Eggman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOpen the Space Bridge!\u201d ordered Megatron. Shockwave keyed in a command and a massive portal opened! \u201cEggman, get to Mobius and start making arrangements for our arrival!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOn it,\u201d replied Eggman. He beamed onto the Fatal Consequence<\/em>\u2026then it all came together. The Transformer crewmembers were beamed onto Cybertron\u2019s surface, right at Megatron\u2019s position. Megatron was puzzled, to say the least. He turned to Thundercracker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLord Megatron, I swear, this was NOT my idea!\u201d urged Thundercracker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe ship\u2019s going through the portal!\u201d called Shockwave. Megatron then made a call to the Fatal Consequence<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s going on here?!\u201d he demanded. \u201cEggman, get back here now!\u201d No response. \u201c\u2026Eggman?! Dr. Eggman, respond!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey\u2019re launching magnetometric charges!\u201d warned Shockwave. Once the portal closed, the Space Bridge blew up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cHIT THE DECK!\u201d called Optimus to his men. Everyone took cover and waited for the rumbling to stop. It lasted for a few minutes, then it faded into silence and stillness. Once everyone confirmed their friends were okay, they looked at the site where a Space Bridge portal generator stood. \u201cHold on, what?!\u201d asked Optimus. \u201cThe Decepticons, sans Eggman and Morgane, leave their ship and blow up the Space Bridge when it could have brought Eggacon troops over?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt looks like Megatron\u2019s just as confused,\u201d remarked Sonic as he pointed to the Decepticons angrily demanding answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t understand what\u2019s going on!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey, guys!\u201d called Teletraan 1 over the comms. \u201cA prerecorded message just popped up on the Blue Typhoon<\/em>. It\u2019s addressed to Sonic and Megatron. I\u2019m gonna go out on a limb and say Megatron got the same message.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBeam us up!\u201d directed Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

The message was from Eggman. He was grinning like a maniac. \u201cHello, everyone!\u201d he greeted as the crew of the Blue Typhoon<\/em> watched on the main screen. \u201cNow, if Sonic and Megatron are watching, you should know that you\u2019ve all been had! Yeah, Morgane and I went along with the Decepticons, but only to make sure you couldn\u2019t follow us back to Mobius. You see, I\u2019ve had my fill of Transformers for one lifetime, and I\u2019ve been trying to get rid of Sonic, so I thought I\u2019d kill two birds with one stone. With Sonic and his meddlesome pals out of the way, Mobius will be easy pickings. Yes, yes, you lot left an Autobot presence behind, but I think the Combaticons can handle them. I would like to say it\u2019s been a pleasure, Sonic, my old nemesis, but let\u2019s be honest, we BOTH got bored of our little war. So, with you stuck on an alien world without a Space Bridge home, you won\u2019t be able to get back in any reasonable time. With the Metrotitans currently down for the count, there\u2019s no transwarp for you! Rot in peace, Sonic the Hedgehog! As for you, Megatron…!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nemesis<\/em>\u2019 bridge was saturated in anger as Eggman\u2019s message continued. \u201c\u2026let\u2019s be honest, I\u2019ve always hated you and this was the perfect opportunity to make sure you stayed out of my way! How long is it gonna take to fix the Space Bridge? With Starscream around, you certainly can\u2019t get it online in any reasonable time. The game\u2019s over, Megatron! You bet it all on black when you should have picked-\u201d he then pulled a bit of his jacket away and let go quickly- \u201cred!\u201d Eggman laughed his usual laugh. As he did, Megatron shot the screen with one of his fusion cannons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen I get back to Mobius,\u201d he promised, \u201cI\u2019ll see to it that Dr. Eggman is reduced to a red smear on my heel!\u201d He then took a deep breath. \u201cBut we\u2019ll leave that for the future. Right now, we need to focus on showing Cybertron who the REAL Lord of the Decepticons is. After that, we rebuild the Space Bridge.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStarscream\u2019s \u2018coronation\u2019,\u201d reported Ravage, \u201cis being held at Trypticon City.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen we need to buzz that area. Thundercracker, once everyone is rested up, you and I are going to Trypticon City.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
