\u201cIf they or Megatron\u2019s followers manage to breach the Vector Sigma Chamber, so will Unicron!\u201d gulped Skywarp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLord Starscream!\u201d called Deathsaurus as he entered the room. \u201cWe have a big problem! The operative word being \u2018big\u2019!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey didn\u2019t fix the Metrotitans, did they?\u201d asked Starscream fearfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUnfortunately, yes!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen we have no choice! Contact this city\u2019s Emissary! Trypticon City MUST get to Kaon immediately!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAt once, My Lord!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow\u2019re your bodies handling, you two?\u201d Optimus asked Fortress Maximus and Metroplex over the comms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBack to normal, thank goodness,\u201d replied Fortress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd ready to go full Titan at a moment\u2019s notice,\u201d supplied Metroplex. \u201cThough I wish I don\u2019t need to.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, we may not need your titan modes,\u201d hoped Optimus. \u201cScorponok\u2019s missing Black Scar and Zarak and he\u2019s a normal-sized Predacon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cApproaching Megatron\u2019s position!\u201d warned Teletraan. Optimus stood up for a speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll forces, this is Optimus. As many of you know, Megatron\u2019s forces are going to breach the Vector Sigma Chamber and enter it before the Solstice. What many of you don\u2019t know is that I\u2019m pursuing him and Starscream will most likely pursue us. I know this is considered sacrilege, but by locking us out, Starscream has tried to tell us that we\u2019re not allowed to know all the aspects of our culture, a greater sin than what Megatron and I are about to commit. If any of you have any objections, make them now. They will be noted.\u201d Not one person said a word. \u201c\u2026I\u2019m a little surprised at that, but happy to know you\u2019re behind me. As I said, I\u2019m going into the Vector Sigma Chamber if Megatron manages to breach it. \u201cLord Megatron, Shockwave has reported that the Transtector is ready,\u201d reported Thundercracker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen we have our Metrotitan again,\u201d mused Megatron. \u201cExcellent. Thunderhoof, how soon until we breach the chamber?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re actually ahead of schedule, see?\u201d replied Thunderhoof in his tractor mode with his threshing fork serving to convey his emotions. \u201cA few more cycles an we\u2019ll be in da Chamber, ready to take a few secrets, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI DO know. You have performed admirably, Thunderhoof.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEy yo, jus doin our bots a favor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLord Megatron!\u201d called Scorponok as he ran up to the group. \u201cThe Autobots and their Metrotitans! They\u2019re coming!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo, not yet!\u201d complained Megatron. \u201cI\u2019m busy!\u201d He then called every single troop on his side. \u201cDecepticons, the Autobots are coming! We MUST breach the Chamber before the Autobots defeat us! Keep all breaching crews protected! Their survival is your survival! We WILL obtain the secrets needed to take Cybertron! Peace through tyranny!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPeace through tyranny!\u201d replied Megatron\u2019s forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cScorponok, now is the perfect time to test out the Transtector.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, I thought you\u2019d never ask!\u201d cheered Scorponok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cApproaching the entrance to the Vector Sigma Chamber,\u201d reported Fortress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd there\u2019s Megatron\u2019s forces, right on que,\u201d supplied Metroplex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHold up, what\u2019s that by Scorponok?\u201d asked Optimus. The screen magnified on the object. It looked like a headless bot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Something seems\u2026off,\u201d remarked Fortress. On screen Scorponok grinned. He then struck the same pose Zarak once did before he became Black Scar\u2019s head. He then mouthed something\u2026then Scorponok turned into a head and attached to the headless bot. Fortress then got a nasty idea. \u201cNo!\u201d he gulped. The bot then did the same posing as Scorponok did, then he became the head as the Decepticon ship turned into Scorponok\u2019s old titanic robot mode! Scorponok was back!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGalen, Cerebros, Fortress, Metroplex, you have permission to engage!\u201d ordered Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Autobot forces poured out of the Metrotitans and fired on Megatron\u2019s forces. Galen and Cerebros flew up and Galen posed his usual announcement pose, but he and Cerebros had an idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMASTER HEAD ON!\u201d they called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFORTRESS MAXIMUS, TRANSFORM!\u201d Galen quickly turned into Cerebros\u2019 head and Cerebros transformed into Fortress\u2019 head as Fortress transformed to bot mode. Once the head attached to the body, Fortress drew his sword and attacked Scorponok. Scorponok blocked with his shield, keeping his head covered by any means necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou won\u2019t catch me off guard again, old friend!\u201d the scorpion based Metrotitan cackled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow did you regain your old size?!\u201d demanded Fortress. \u201cZarak and Black Scar are dead, and you were turned into a Predacon!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSorry, Shockwave\u2019s little secret!\u201d Scorponok then slammed his claw into Fortress\u2019 chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI need to help him!\u201d growled Metroplex. He transformed to vehicle mode, then parked himself onto a platform. Clamps then held him down. \u201cTitan Mode!\u201d he called. As a roof and walls lowered over him, the gun by his bridge flew off while the comms tower swung down. One of the ramps then retracted into the launch bays below the bridge tower and it closed itself. The launch pads on the bow then swung up and folded onto the rear of the pads, making a pair of legs and deploying feet. The assemblies at the sides of the launch bays then swung down and deployed hands. The pipes by the bridge tower then swung up, bringing up a door and revealing a face. Metroplex then caught the gun in his right hand, then braced it with his left and leveled it at Fortress and Scorponok\u2019s battle. \u201cHIT THE GROUND!\u201d he shouted. Fortress whirled out of the way as Metroplex fired. Scorponok raised his shield and deflected the shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDid you really think that would stop me!\u201d he cackled. Fortress then saw an opportunity and scored a blow\u2026below Scorponok\u2019s belt. \u2026Yeah, he could still feel pain down there. As the shock forced him into a silent scream. Metroplex fired again, this time knocking Scorponok to the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOoh, I felt dat,\u201d winced Thunderhoof. He then saw something approaching. Trypticon City was coming towards them. \u201cEy yo, heads up!\u201d he called. \u201cStarscream\u2019s mooks incoming!\u201d Megatron saw them and groaned again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSeriously?\u201d he muttered. He then turned up to see Scorponok picking himself up. \u201cScorponok, enemy inbound!\u201d Fortress and Metroplex then swung a punch. Scorponok caught them and held them in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019M A LITTLE BUSY RIGHT NOW!\u201d he shouted. Trypticon City then fired its guns at the three Metrotitans as Starscream\u2019s forces poured out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLEAVE NO SURVIVORS!\u201d shrieked Starscream as he and his Trine bombarded the area. \u201cTrypticon, get on their level!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith pleasure!\u201d laughed a cruel, deep voice, a voice that made Metroplex stop and turn slowly in fear towards Trypticon City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026No!\u201d he whispered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, yes, old friend! It is I!\u201d laughed the city. \u201cThe one Metrotitan that never needed an Emissary mode!\u201d Metroplex turned to Fortress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll keep him off your back! You take care of Scorponok!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGood luck!\u201d wished Fortress as he charged and resumed his duel with Scorponok. Metroplex then fired on the city, prompting it to laugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDid you forget how resistant I am to firearms?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re invulnerable, Laddie!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEh, fair point. In that case, Trypticon, TRANSFORM!\u201d The sides of the city swung up and folded into legs. The sides of the city\u2019s front split away and deployed three-digited, talon-like hands as the rest of the front folded down. The arch running from the Main Square to the rear fell away from the Square and unfolded into a tail. The bottom of the front then fell away on a joint as angry, red optics glowed and dorsal spines popped out of the backside. Standing in place of Trypticon City was Trypticon himself, a Decepticon Metrotitan that vaguely resembled a giant monster from a Japanese movie franchise. Trypticon smirked evilly as he stared his rival, Metroplex, down. \u201cYour move, my friend!\u201d laughed Trypticon. Metroplex fired his gun, only for a gun to sprout from between his optics and fire to engage in a beam clash. Trypticon\u2019s beam then overpowered Metroplex\u2019s and knocked the Gigantion leader down. \u201cNo one escapes from the talons of Trypticon, Metroplex!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the fight raged on, Thunderhoof, long having transformed to robot mode, checked on the status of the breaching team. \u201cEy yo! How close are youse guys?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re almost dere, boss!\u201d replied a crab-like Decepticon, Clampdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDat\u2019s what youse said ten minutes ago!\u201d snarled Thunderhoof. \u201cAnd da ten minutes before dat! And da ten minutes before dat! How long\u2019s dis gonna-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBoss!\u201d called a bot. \u201cWe\u2019re in!\u201d He pointed to the remains of the door to the Vector Sigma Chamber.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFinally, some service!\u201d Thunderhoof then called Megatron. \u201cEy yo! Da door\u2019s down! Not that I wanna tell youse what to do, but youse better hustle, see?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUnderstood! Good work, Thunderhoof!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Megatron ended the call and ran straight for the Vector Sigma Chamber. Optimus saw him running. \u201cOH NO, YOU DON\u2019T, YOU EDGE-LORD TWERP!\u201d he shouted. He then ran after Megatron and fired on him. Megatron fired back as both bots entered the Chamber. Starscream saw the whole thing and goggled in horror!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYOU IDIOTS!\u201d he shrieked to his forces. \u201cYOU LET THEM GET AWAY!\u201d He then chased after the two bots. Suddenly, the door fixed itself after Starscream and shut itself. Everyone was stunned and stopped fighting for a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
