Mobius, a world where certain animals evolved to speak and walk like humans. A normally peaceful world and is protected by many heroes against a mad scientist wanting to take it over for his own. However, the scientist hadn\u2019t made a peep in recent days. Right now, though, that was a good thing. The whole planet and its refugees from another world were worried that the main hero of Mobius didn\u2019t succeed or survive. Within the castle of Mobius\u2019 Queen, her Majesty, Queen Aleena the Hedgehog, was pacing her room in motherly worry. \u201cMy boy, where are you?!\u201d she asked. \u201cI know we\u2019ve got a seat on the Galactic Council, but I need to know if we w-!\u201d someone knocked on her door, startling her out of her thoughts. \u201c\u2026Come in,\u201d she called after releasing a breath. One of her butlers then opened the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSorry to disturb you, Your Majesty,\u201d he began, \u201cbut you have visitors outside the castle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd they are?\u201d asked Aleena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOptimus and your son.\u201d Aleena quickly breezed by the butler, dashed through the foyer, and ran out of the castle to see Optimus, Shadow, Topaz, Sira, Trema, Amy, Gaia, Umbra, Lux, and Sonic!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMY BOY!\u201d she cheered as she ran up to him. She then enveloped him in a bear hug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMom! Easy!\u201d begged Sonic. She then pulled herself away, leaving her hands on his shoulders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy sweet boy! Are you hurt?! Do you need a bath?! Did the Vok-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMom, easy! We won!\u201d Aleena goggled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWait, we won?! Primacron\u2019s-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDead and done!\u201d replied Umbra. Aleena then looked up to her. \u201cMy apologies, I\u2019ve yet to introduce myself. I am Umbra, one of Gaia\u2019s mothers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd I\u2019m Lux, her other mother,\u201d introduced Lux. She then took a deep breath and sighed happily. \u201cFeels just like Voksphere!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m\u2026glad you like it,\u201d replied Aleena, a little uncertain about Lux and Umbra. She then addressed Sonic and Optimus. \u201cI can\u2019t tell you how relieved I am! Did you all make it back okay?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe did, though we lost some good people,\u201d sighed Sonic. Aleena winced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m sorry you had to see that,\u201d she sympathized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, hopefully, Sonic won\u2019t see that anymore,\u201d wished Optimus. \u201cNot from any race in the galaxy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Optimus, what are you saying?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m saying that Megatron and I ended our feud. The second war between the Autobots and Decepticons\u2026is over.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Dare I ask who won?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUnofficially, Megatron conceded victory to me in a private fight. Officially, the two factions just stopped, sick of fighting each other and sick of bloodshed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTelling the galaxy that you saw sense, hm?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the general idea.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, if you ever need help, you need merely ask me and the G.U.N. commander.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAbout that!\u201d called Shadow. \u201cYou spoke with Topaz about me, right?!\u201d Aleena grinned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI had a pretty good idea you\u2019d find out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd you did NOTHING to stop it?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNope. In fact, your recommendation to the position didn\u2019t spawn in a vacuum. My boy came up with the idea!\u201d Shadow then gawked at Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026YOU?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMe!\u201d chuckled Sonic. \u201cLooks like we\u2019re gonna be working together a little more, eh Shadow?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2026suggested that I\u2026be Commander Topaz\u2019s\u2026successor?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYep! Congrats, Shadow, Commander of G.U.N!\u201d Sonic held his hand out for a handshake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Do you have any idea,\u201d Shadow shook Sonic\u2019s hand a little tightly, \u201chow much paperwork you saddled me with?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re welcome!\u201d Shadow just growled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, will G.U.N HQ be moving to the Space Colony ARK?\u201d asked Sira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo,\u201d grunted Shadow as he ended his handshake with Sonic. \u201cI\u2019m making the Space Colony G.U.N.\u2019s main scientific HQ. It might be old, but the labs are still operational. By the way, Topaz, I\u2019d like to make Maria my Chief Scientist.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI see no issue with that,\u201d replied Topaz. \u201cThough, that IS up to her.\u201d She then looked around. \u201cEr, where\u2019s Gaia?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe\u2019s getting reacquainted with Mobius,\u201d explained Lux. \u201cShe\u2019s been in the core of your planet alongside Unicron for so long that she wanted to explore what her old form had to offer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI wonder,\u201d mused Umbra, \u201ccould she make the planet her body and transform as you do, Prime?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKnowing her, she probably doesn\u2019t want to,\u201d remarked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, what brings you here?\u201d Aleena asked the young Prime. \u201cShouldn\u2019t you be rebuilding?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s partially why I\u2019m here. I\u2019m picking up the refugees that you graciously allowed on your world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat about those that want to stay? I\u2019m fine with them living here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen they may live here. I won\u2019t rip them away from their new lives here. There\u2019s another reason, a more personal one. I\u2019m\u2026kind of in the middle of a farewell tour.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFarewell tour?! You\u2019re leaving us?!\u201d yelped Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can\u2019t stay on Mobius for so long like I did in the past, Sonic. My people need me. Staying on Mobius before Megatron brought his crew was kind of running from my people\u2019s problems. I can\u2019t stay unless it\u2019s a diplomatic visit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMan! I was hoping you\u2019d move to Mobius!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have my duties, Sonic. I can\u2019t leave my people anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCan you and Blackarachnia at least stay until after the big day?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAbout what?\u201d quizzed Sonic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unbeknownst to them, Swindle was watching the whole thing. He called up Eggman. \u201cSwindle to Eggman, Sonic\u2019s back,\u201d he reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVery well, Swindle,\u201d sighed Eggman on the other end. \u201cReturn to base.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
