{"id":5149,"date":"2021-11-21T00:44:25","date_gmt":"2021-11-21T05:44:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/samueljvinton.com\/wordpress\/?p=5149"},"modified":"2021-11-21T00:44:25","modified_gmt":"2021-11-21T05:44:25","slug":"tmc-27-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/samueljvinton.com\/wordpress\/tmc-27-2\/","title":{"rendered":"TMC 27-2"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Galvatron sat in the Captain\u2019s chair as Delmox and her team assumed their stations. \u201cHow close is the Roguestar?\u201d Galvatron asked Blackarachnia as she manned the helm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA kilometer off, but it\u2019s just\u2026sitting there,\u201d reported Blackarachnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat doesn\u2019t make sense,\u201d muttered Sandra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShockwave, hail the station,\u201d ordered Galvatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cChannel open,\u201d replied Shockwave as a three-armed humanoid with a long neck and head appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMr. Teenak, there\u2019s a Renegade Gobot Roguestar a thousand kilometers off your station.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think the Renegade Gobots are planning to attack us,\u201d replied the alien, Mr. Teenak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat makes you say that?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBecause, at this moment, Cy-Kill himself is in my office.\u201d The viewscreen turned to reveal a Gobot with motorcycle kibble. The Gobot\u2019s organic face was twisted in a sly grin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026Cancel red alert,\u201d ordered Galvatron. \u201cUncle Optimus and I are beaming down.\u201d Delmox activated a silent comms channel and informed Searchlight\u2019s team of Galvatron and Optimus\u2019 arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd you managed to man your stations without detection?\u201d asked Ranzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI trained my officers on how to operate a <em>Kaon<\/em>-class vessel, should we ever find ourselves on one,\u201d explained Delmox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGood thinking,\u201d praised Eenar. \u201cWhat happened when Optimus and Galvatron beamed down?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCy-Kill explained that he and his fellows were invoking shore leave rights. Galvatron told him that they could use their shore leave rights, but only three of his men at a time. Galvatron would also send down three of his crew to watch the Renegade Gobots. And, while I\u2019m on the subject of Cy-Kill, I must say that history was right on a certain aspect of him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd that aspect is?\u201d asked Burn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCy-Kill is a big, fat ham!\u201d The Council allowed a small chuckle as Delmox continued the story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Searchlight and her team continued their search for their Crasher. Mazzu and Azzax approached Searchlight\u2019s table at the bar. \u201cWe completed our search of the lower habitat ring,\u201d reported Mazzu. \u201cThere\u2019s no sign of-\u201d His report was interrupted by a playful yip, almost like a small dog\u2019s happy bark. The Nebulan twins then noticed Searchlight was stroking something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat are you petting?\u201d asked Azzax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCute-sounding, ain\u2019t it?\u201d sighed Searchlight. She then revealed what she was petting. \u201cIt\u2019s called a-\u201d The animal was a ball of fur with long legs, a wide mouth full of omnivore-based teeth, and soulful eyes. The wide pupils of the animal contracted when it caught sight of the Nebulans, and it extended its legs while screaming at them. The Nebulans roared and drew their knives, prompting Searchlight to hide the animal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cUh oh!\u201d called an onlooker. \u201cSomeone brandished a Poozit at the Nebulans!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWill you two sit down?!\u201d Searchlight snapped at the twins. \u201cYou\u2019re drawing attention!\u201d The two looked at each other before sheathing their knives and sitting down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDoctor, where did you find that\u2026Poozit?!\u201d snarled Azzax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFrom a man named Arakujos,\u201d explained Searchlight. \u201cHe told me Poozits like everyone, but this one doesn\u2019t seem to like you boys.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe feeling\u2019s mutual!\u201d hissed Mazzu. \u201cThey\u2019re detestable animals!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI always thought you organics liked animals, especially soft, fuzzy ones that make pleasing sounds.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThose monsters do nothing but breed and consume food!\u201d growled Azzax. \u201cIf you feed that thing even the slightest morsel, then you\u2019ll have ten Poozits, then a hundred, then a thousand in a matter of hours!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWill you calm down?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cListen to Azzax!\u201d urged Mazzu. \u201cThose things are considered a grave threat to the Imperial Nebulan Republic!\u201d Searchlight stared in disbelief at them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis?!\u201d She showed off the Poozit and it screamed at them again. She then hid it again. \u201cA mortal enemy of the Imperial Republic?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re an ecological menace!\u201d insisted Azzax. \u201cA plague to be wiped out!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWiped out?! What are you saying?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHundreds of Nebulan warriors hunted them throughout the galaxy,\u201d explained Mazzu. \u201cAn armada obliterated the second Poozit homeworld. By the mid-6,000\u2019s, it was believed that the Poozits were manageable again!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnother glorious chapter in Nebulan history,\u201d scoffed Searchlight. \u201cAre there still operas about the Great Poozit Hunt?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Back on the <em>Nemesis<\/em>, Delmox, Sandra, and Annus simply did repairs as Galvatron, with Amy on his shoulder, wandered the corridors. \u201cBridge to my son,\u201d called Megatron\u2019s voice over the comms. Galvatron then headed over to the nearest comms terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGalvatron here, with Her Majesty.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMr. Rozix wants to talk to you.\u201d Galvatron rolled his optics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNot again,\u201d sighed Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPut him through,\u201d muttered Galvatron. A stuffy, uptight voice then came through the unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCaptain Galvatron, I demand to speak to you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYes, Mr. Rozix, what can I do for you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis station is swarming with Renegade Gobots!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI was unaware that three Renegades constitutes a swarm.\u201d Galvatron could practically hear Mr. Rozix grinding his beak. Delmox and her team continued repairs as Annus Magnus looked at Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIs that really a natural color?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMost Mobians have colors across the entire spectrum,\u201d explained Sandra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGalvatron, there are Renegade Gobots on this station!\u201d snapped Mr. Rozix over the comms. \u201cThat\u2019s the issue! Now, I want you to keep that grain safe, you hear me?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMr. Rozix, I have guards around the grain, I have guards on each Renegade, the only reason those guards are there is because the Black Block Consortia and the Galactic Council want them there! And as for what YOU want-!\u201d Amy cleared her throat, cutting Galvatron off. Galvatron sighed as he continued. \u201c\u2026it has been noted and logged. Galvatron out.\u201d He cut the call and turned to Sandra. \u201cExcuse me, could you show Her Majesty back to her quarters?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYes, Sir,\u201d replied Sandra, gulping nervously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGoing to Repair Bay to take care of your headache?\u201d Amy asked Galvatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou know me too well, Your Majesty.\u201d Galvatron headed off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEr, Your Majesty,\u201d gulped Sandra, \u201cI didn\u2019t get to see your quarters. Do you mind showing me-?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI can get to them myself; I just didn\u2019t want to refuse in front of Galvatron,\u201d replied Amy. \u201cThank you anyways. By the way, just for future reference, Deck 7, Corridor 12, Room 4.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSeven, Twelve, Four. Got it. Thank you, Your Majesty.\u201d Amy strolled off to the elevator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou missed out!\u201d hissed Annus Magnus once Amy was out of sight and the repairs were finished. \u201cI can\u2019t believe you don\u2019t want to talk to her!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the last thing on my mind,\u201d replied Sandra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCome on, Sandra! Are you seriously telling me you, of all people, aren\u2019t interested in meeting one of Mobius\u2019 greatest Queens?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have a job to do, Annus,\u201d interjected Delmox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut it\u2019s Queen Amy Rose I!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLook, of course I want to meet her!\u201d hissed Sandra. \u201cI want to shake her hand! I want to ask her about her first trip to Nebulos! I want to ask her about her time as the Scarlet Specter! I want to ask her about her wedding to Sonic! But that\u2019s not why we\u2019re here, Magnus!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026You\u2019re right,\u201d sighed Annus. \u201cI guess I\u2019m just so trying so hard to restrain myself about meeting my heroes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Back on the station, Searchlight and the twins were at the bar. Llyra, Galen, and Kari then came in. They found a table and sat down. A waitress then took their orders. \u201cThat\u2019s her!\u201d Mazzu whispered to his tablemates as he pointed to Llyra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s who?\u201d asked Searchlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLlyra!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026You sure?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHer photos are kept in pristine condition,\u201d assured Azzax. \u201cThat\u2019s our first ancestor, Llyra!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAh, the opportunity to get her autograph!\u201d said Mazzu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026You know, I think you\u2019re anonymous enough,\u201d mused Searchlight. The twins brought out autograph pads and headed to Llyra\u2019s table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cExcuse me, Supreme Councilor!\u201d called Mazzu. Llyra looked up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNews folk?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo, just fanboys,\u201d replied Azzax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAh, I see. Who am I making them out to?\u201d She took Mazzu\u2019s pad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOh, just your signature\u2019s enough,\u201d assured Mazzu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019d like this to be anonymous,\u201d supplied Azzax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAll right then.\u201d Llyra signed Mazzu\u2019s pad, then Azzax\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThank you!\u201d bid the twins. They headed back to their table to see a Renegade helicopter Gobot named Cop-Tur see Searchlight\u2019s Poozit. It screamed at him, causing all the Nebulans to pause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSo, they hate Renegades as much as they hate us, hm?\u201d chuckled Llyra as Searchlight hid the Poozit from Cop-Tur. \u201cMy friends, this is historic. There\u2019s another race that they scream at! I wonder, did the Renegades ever try to hunt those pests down?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNothing so mundane,\u201d grunted Cop-Tur. He then grinned. \u201cAlthough, mundane stuff is to be expected from Nebulans. They remind me of Zamojin worms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat was that?!\u201d hissed Galen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEasy, dear,\u201d assured Llyra. \u201cYou ought to be more forgiving.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo, wait,\u201d chuckled Cop-Tur, \u201cI just remembered that there IS one Nebulan that doesn\u2019t remind me of a Zamojin worm. That\u2019s YOU, Supreme Councilor Llyra. A Zamojin worm is soft and shapeless, but you\u2019re not soft. You may be a swaggering, overbearing, tin-plated dictator with delusions of godhood, but you\u2019re not soft!\u201d Kari stood from her seat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo, no,\u201d directed Llyra. \u201cEveryone\u2019s entitled to their own opinion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s right!\u201d continued Cop-Tur. \u201cAnd if I think that you\u2019re a Eurythman Slime Dog, well, that\u2019s just my opinion too!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s it!\u201d snarled Galen as he and Kari stood up again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSit down, you two,\u201d snapped Llyra. \u201cThat\u2019s an order from your Supreme Councilor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou heard what he called you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s too weak to waste the effort to punch, so forget it. We\u2019re big enough to take a few insults. Now, sit down and drink your drinks.\u201d Cop-Tur snarled at being called weak and not worth the effort to harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026Frankly, you lot deserve the company you keep!\u201d He then started laughing. \u201cWe like Trema and her ilk! We really do! Those backward, magic-spewing, inbred mongrels are so obsessed with archaic methods of rule! Half the galactic quadrant knows it! That\u2019s why they\u2019re learning to speak Gobotronian!\u201d Llyra then twitched at her mother-in-law being insulted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLlyra!\u201d hissed Kari. Mazzu and Azzax clenched their fists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBoys, no!\u201d gulped Searchlight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026Mr. Cop-Tur,\u201d said Llyra in barely a whisper, \u201cdon\u2019t you think you should\u2026rephrase that?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re right, I should,\u201d replied Cop-Tur. \u201cI didn\u2019t mean to say that they were inbred mongrels, I meant to say that they should be sold off as sex slaves FOR inbred mongrels!\u201d As Cop-Tur laughed, Llyra slowly got up, then looked behind Cop-Tur. Cop-Tur turned to see what Llyra was looking at only for her to rip off his helicopter blades and run them through his chest. Not fatal for a Gobot, but certainly painful. His buddies, a jet named Fitor and a car named Stinger, stood from their seats as they faced their Nebulan opponents. That was when the fight really broke out! Llyra led one side as Cop-Tur led the other. As the bar\u2019s door opened to allow a security detachment from the <em>Nemesis<\/em> to break up the fight, Searchlight saw their passenger on the other side! She got the twins off Stinger and pointed her out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSearchlight, TRANSFORM!\u201d Searchlight transformed into her motorcycle mode and Azzax hopped on.
