She had a small phial containing a pink potion in her hands. Norvorok had his medical wand ready. Marshii gave him the potion and he loaded it into the wand. \u201cAll we can do,\u201d muttered Marshii, \u201cis pray.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHere\u2019s hoping that our prayers are answered,\u201d replied Norvorok. He then raised his wand. \u201cCalundo!\u201d He flicked the wand and pink mist came out of it. The mist coiled around the statues in the room, then it faded. Everyone waited for thirty seconds before sighing in disappointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sorry,\u201d began Marshii, \u201cI thought-\u201d Her explanations were interrupted when she heard a sound. \u201c\u2026Stone?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSounds like it.\u201d The sound WAS stone, specifically, stone cracking away. The statues were cracking at an exponential rate. Just then, a stone hand fell away from one of the statues, revealing a hand of flesh and blood. More statues fell apart to reveal the person inside. The King was the last to escape. He joined everyone in catching their breath. He was about to get up, but Marshii and Norvorok caught him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEasy!\u201d urged Marshii. \u201cYou need food and rest!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI have\u2026get to the council!\u201d panted Heenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNot until tomorrow!\u201d ordered Norvorok. \u201cThey\u2019re voting on keeping the Realmgates closed, and we need you conscious enough to vote no.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMeaning you need food in your belly and a full night\u2019s rest!\u201d continued Marshii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDoctor\u2019s orders!\u201d Marshii turned to the entire throne room. \u201cThat goes for all of you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Aldarval and the Council convened the next day. They took their seats and chimed in on the table in front of them. \u201cRealmfleet Council now in session,\u201d declared Aldarval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cArsha\u2019s testimony has changed the outcome of this vote,\u201d began Conso. \u201cThat Blood Contract they signed was real!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cReal?!\u201d argued a Blaze Elf woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShe showed me the scarred signature on the back of her hand.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDoes she understand how reckless that is?!\u201d snapped a Zephyr man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI frankly don\u2019t think so, Admiral Samfuram.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith that in consideration,\u201d muttered a human woman, \u201cI think there\u2019s a case we can make that the All-Realm Royals are no longer fit for duty.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAdmiral Hanfar Zenopagh, I did NOT just hear you suggest that!\u201d snarled Aldarval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSupreme Admiral, with all due respect, we can\u2019t continue this war.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhich is why I\u2026inadvertently\u2026took the decision out of your hands,\u201d muttered Conso. The Council looked at him. \u201c\u2026Arsha needs to end the Final War by the end of the year. We were just about to vote on repairing the Realmgates. Either we force her to end it by this year, or we condemn ourselves to her as a throneless bounty hunter that\u2019s perfectly willing to drag this on for centuries!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf we\u2019re quite done insulting our best Captain!\u201d snarled Aldarval. She then turned to Heenda. \u201cKing Heenda Untarfu.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d say my vote\u2019s a little redundant, but Aye.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd the vote of Supreme Admiral Aldarval Naltomak,\u201d finished Aldarval, \u201cis Aye! Our spies reported that the Realmfleet Council\u2019s authorized repairs on the Realmgates! They\u2019ve only got the Over to Mid Realmgate working but-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s too much damage to our operations!\u201d growled Dr. Borg. \u201cThe installation of the energy-dampening weapons on our ships MUST be accelerated.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe can try,\u201d remarked Tormo, \u201cbut the supply lines aren\u2019t as extensive as we would like. There ARE going to be delays in shipping them to all allied docks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe can\u2019t afford delays!\u201d Dr. Borg then took in a breath. \u201cSorry. Tormo, please issue the necessary orders to secure the supplies we need quickly.\u201d Tormo nodded his head and left the room. \u201cYulduk, how fares the mana consumption on all Revenants?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBadly,\u201d replied Yulduk. \u201cWe\u2019re consuming it as fast as Splitter Golems. We\u2019re trying to ration it, but our hunger\u2019s too great. You know, maybe removing Oyed so quickly wasn\u2019t a good idea.
