The Endeavor<\/em> had to pick the supplies up at Galthar first, then went to Largandra. \u201cLargandra,\u201d called Shalvey, \u201cthis is the Endeavor<\/em>, registry CRS-2784. Requesting permission to land.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStandby while we verify your clearance,\u201d replied the person at flight control. Shalvey transmitted the clearance code. \u201c\u2026Clearance accepted. You are assigned to Flight Path 1 to Landing Pad 4. Welcome to Largandra and tell her Highness welcome back.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWill do,\u201d answered Shalvey. She ended the call and fed the flight path and coordinates to Nazay. Nazay then guided the ship to the landing pad. As he did, Arsha looked distracted. Denstra saw this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey, are you okay?\u201d she whispered. Arsha was snapped out of her thoughts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026I\u2019m gonna miss you guys once this is over,\u201d she whispered back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not over yet. We still have a mission to complete and this one doesn\u2019t exactly have a timetable.\u201d Arsha smiled a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYeah, there\u2019s that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Once the Endeavor<\/em> landed, Endea reported to the snooze room, a new addition to shipyards for Ship-type Mechanicas to comfortably sleep under the effects of purple water, the anesthetic for Mechanicas. An engineer and a doctor were on standby. \u201cSo, ready to get rid of any and all excess weapons?\u201d asked the engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have NO idea!\u201d replied Endea. \u201cI\u2019ve been waiting for this day when I first got the initial overhaul that slapped the damn things on me in the first place.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, it\u2019s time to get rid of them,\u201d said the doctor. \u201cTime for only the essential weapons to deter pirates.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Yeah, pirates are my only threat now that the Splitters and Dr. Borg\u2019s followers are gone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re ready to administer the purple water,\u201d reported the engineer. \u201cYou good to go?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYep, put me under!\u201d Once Endea tucked herself into the bed, the engineer called for the go ahead to administer the purple water. She fell fast asleep and the shipyards got to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foresna decided to get to the castle before Arsha. He wanted to get familiar with it since it was gonna be his home at some point in the future. He was let in and wandered the halls, saying hello to everyone. \u201cHello, Irmalii!\u201d he said to the Royana\u2019s Royal Guard Captain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHi, Foresna!\u201d replied Irmalii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHello, Domesta!\u201d he greeted once the Head Maid floated by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWelcome, Foresna!\u201d returned Domesta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHello, Mr and Mrs. Rojam!\u201d he said to a couple. He then realized what he said and grabbed their arms. Unfortunately, his eyes WEREN\u2019T wrong, it WAS Reb and Melgem. \u201cAnd just what, pray tell, are you doing here?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou wouldn\u2019t believe us if we told you,\u201d replied Reb evenly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTry me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOkay, we snagged a BEAUTIFUL new lover. Rikuna, if you must know.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cArsha\u2019s oldest cousin on her mother\u2019s side?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the one,\u201d confirmed Melgem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd what\u2019s your angle on it?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe love her, she loves us, that\u2019s the angle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUh huh, sure. And do Elgrad and Hanako know about your presence?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOf course, otherwise we\u2019d be in the dungeon by now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, you don\u2019t mind if I drag you two to the throne room and confirm that for myself, do you? And by that, I mean that I\u2019m dragging you there anyway, regardless of your willingness or lack thereof.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow, wait a minute, my DEAR Foresna-!\u201d gulped Reb. Foresna then dragged the two away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s Mr. Falshenda to you!\u201d hissed the red-headed man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd you\u2019re SURE you can do this?\u201d Hanako asked a nine-tailed Kitsune woman as the two and Elgrad spoke in the throne room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPositive!\u201d replied the woman, Rikuna. The doors then opened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYour Majesties, are you aware that pirates are in here?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are,\u201d replied Hanako. \u201cLet them go.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy?!\u201d protested Foresna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBecause my eldest niece here,\u201d explained Hanako, \u201csomehow thinks she can change them with love.\u201d Foresna released the two pirates and glared at Rikuna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRikuna, explanations?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s simple, I love them!\u201d replied Rikuna as she hugged the two pirates. The two smiled in her embrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWHY do you love those cutthroats?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, pity, I suppose.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGee, way to make a guy feel special,\u201d grunted Melgem as his and Reb\u2019s smiles faded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, come now,\u201d said Rikuna. \u201cWere you two not suffering from your crew mocking you when they discovered you didn\u2019t have a certain map that led to the buried treasures of all currently known royal families?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Maybe,\u201d mumbled Melgem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd were they not wishing to be Protectorate Pirates again?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Perhaps,\u201d muttered Melgem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd who set you up in style while you plead your case to become Protectorate Pirates once more?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026The WONDERFUL Dr. Positive,\u201d muttered Reb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s right, Dr. Positive! The one who\u2019s gonna turn Melgem from a bad guy to a glad guy! Turn Reb from a sad she to a happy she! Turn you both from Devil to A-Level, baby!\u201d Foresna then grabbed Rikuna and dragged her to Elgrad and Hanako.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou guys aren\u2019t seriously considering this lunacy, are you?!\u201d he asked the King and Queen. \u201cReb\u2019s the only living one of Arsha\u2019s arch enemies!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLook, all former Protectorate Pirates,\u201d sighed Elgrad, \u201chave the right to a second chance to regain favor with us. It\u2019s a two-strike system, so if they waste it, they\u2019re never gonna be Protectorate Pirates again. I don\u2019t like them anymore than you do, but not even We are above the law. We have to give them one last chance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith all the respect that\u2019s due to you, that\u2019s the most ridiculous thing I ever-!\u201d Trumpets interrupted Foresna\u2019s rant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, please don\u2019t let it be Arsha,\u201d gulped Hanako. \u201cHer presence will only make things more complicated!\u201d Arsha went into the throne room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI heard there were a pair of new guys in here,\u201d she said, \u201cso I thought I\u2019d w-w-w-WHAT IS THIS?!\u201d She finally clapped eyes on the Rojams. \u201cI thought I would be welcoming two new people to Largandra!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo,\u201d replied Foresna. \u201cApparently, we\u2019re all gonna be helping Rikuna in getting Reb and Melgem their Protectorate Pirate status back!\u201d Arsha drew her wand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTold you she wouldn\u2019t like it,\u201d Hanako muttered as she held her hand out in front of Elgrad. Elgrad handed her 200 golds to pay off the bet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh no!\u201d snarled Arsha as she leveled her wand. \u201cI do NOT help my only mortal enemy get a damn apartment in MY home city!\u201d Magic built up at the tip of her wand and she swung upwards, ready to fire a blast at the two pirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLOWURDAL!\u201d shouted Rikuna as she thrust her palm towards Arsha. A spark flew towards Arsha and hit her hand, making her drop the wand. \u201cThe Rojams aren\u2019t enemies anymore! They\u2019re family!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd how, pray tell, did you, my eldest cousin, arrive at THAT conclusion?\u201d growled Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe\u2019s been dating them since your mother and I were looking for you,\u201d muttered Elgrad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd once they get those warm, family-style feels,\u201d continued Rikuna, \u201ctheir icy shell will crack and we\u2019ll all be chest-deep in sunshine!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
