Just then, the Welmevas\u2019 shuttle arrived. \u201cWell, this is it, Cap,\u201d chuckled Denstra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou arrive on a shuttle,\u201d sighed Arsha as she recalled, \u201cand you leave on a shuttle. Funny how fate works like that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYeah, fate\u2019s got a goofy sense of humor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat will you do?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re thinking of applying to become Protectorate Pirates,\u201d replied Twirja, \u201cmostly to keep an eye on Reb.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWell, when you send me the application, I\u2019ll certainly sign it!\u201d promised Arsha. \u201cGood luck on your Protectorate Training!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGoodbye, Arsha!\u201d called Denstra as she led her family onto the shuttle. Once it took off, Dalengor\u2019s arrived. The two old friends hugged each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo much has changed since you found my hibernation egg all those years ago,\u201d chuckled the Shadow Dragon. \u201cI never would have made it in this new world if it weren\u2019t for your help. Now, my people and Mordek have made peace with one another and we\u2019re prospering!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat\u2019s gonna happen now?\u201d asked Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ve accepted a position as Military Advisor for General Dotan. He picked me because of my experience with this time zone. I\u2019m all too happy to help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe made an excellent choice. You\u2019ll still visit, won\u2019t you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOh, of course! Just as long as our schedules line up.\u201d The two friends hugged once more, then Dalengor boarded the shuttle. Once it left, it was Nazay\u2019s turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ll be back for your coronation, Arsha,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou keep me appraised about your marriage to Merrim, you hear?\u201d requested Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWill do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOh, and make sure you have a map of Largandra handy when I\u2019m crowned. Don\u2019t want you getting lost like you did on my first day, hm?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHow\u2019d you know that?!\u201d yelped Nazay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA certain Shadow Dragon told me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m gonna SKIN her for that!\u201d Nazay\u2019s face was as red as his tail. He boarded the shuttle and it took off. Thangred and Shalvey then approached Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCaptain, we\u2019re gonna miss you,\u201d said Thangred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI understand you have a new show in the works?\u201d asked Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYep, an animated show called <em>Stone and Scales<\/em> about a Merman who goes on all sorts of hijinks across the Realms with his Dwarf girlfriend and upset the machinations of the Great Evil!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGee, I wonder who the inspiration is,\u201d chuckled Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGuilty,\u201d replied Shalvey. \u201cThe Great Evil, however, is gonna take a more comedic role than Oyed did.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThen we REALLY won against him,\u201d remarked Arsha. \u201cWhat was once a terror that hung over the heads of every single denizen of every Realm has been reduced to nothing more than a monster that frightens children into behaving. Such is the fate of all evil.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYeah, well, them\u2019s the breaks for him. Good luck as Queen, Arsha!\u201d said Shalvey. Thangred then pushed her chair onto the shuttle. Once it left, there was one last shuttle for Thengo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m gonna miss our teatime sessions,\u201d admitted Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMy cave\u2019s open for a visit,\u201d assured Thengo. \u201cI\u2019ll always have time to listen to your woes if, for some reason, your lovers can\u2019t help.\u201d The two hugged and Thengo entered the shuttle. It took off and Arsha sighed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWell, she muttered, \u201cthat\u2019s the end of my old bridge crew. \u2026Now comes an upcoming portrait sitting and getting some proposal rings.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arsha spent the day shopping for rings for her and her lovers so they would have a wedding later. Once she got them, she found a nice dress and met with Irmalii for the Royal Portrait. They were in a grassy area outside the city walls and Arsha adjusted her new dress. Irmalii set up the canvas and Arsha took up a pose where she looked to the side and placed a hand on her dress. She could hold her main body\u2019s pose, but her tails were another matter. \u201cArsha, will you hold your tails still?\u201d asked Irmalii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSorry!\u201d gulped Arsha. Her tails went back to their original position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Arsha, tails!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSorry!\u201d This kind of exchange went on for a while until the day was nearly done. \u201cAll right, come and see!\u201d Arsha sighed in relief and her tails resumed moving again. She came over to see her portrait and smiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPerfect!\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I saw what you did with Foresna\u2019s! Now we\u2019ve all got Royal Portraits! And there\u2019s plenty of time for me to get used to this dress.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhere did you get it, anyways?\u201d asked Irmalii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSame dress shop you got yours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThey\u2019re really comfy, aren\u2019t they?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSweet Ones, they are! The bodice hugs you in all the right places and the skirts never tangle in your legs! But I see why you only get them on special occasions. Those are EXPENSIVE!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYeah, they\u2019re not something one can buy every day.\u201d Irmalii then wagged a mocking finger. \u201cSo our economy better not tank because you decided retail therapy was what you needed!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI won\u2019t let it go that bad! I promise!\u201d giggled Arsha. Just then, Domesta appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cExcuse me, my Lady,\u201d she said, \u201cbut there are four important visitors requesting yours and Foresna\u2019s presence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThey\u2019re here!\u201d cheered Arsha. \u201cDomesta, I wish Foresna and I were where our visitors are!\u201d Domesta snapped her fingers and Arsha and Foresna appeared right next to Malnar, Gorfanth, Arsha, and Foresna. \u201cWelcome, my Lords and Ladies, to Castle Royana!\u201d greeted Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s great to see you again!\u201d cheered Malnar as everyone gathered one another in an embrace. Once the hug was over, the new arrivals whistled in amazement. \u201cLook at you!\u201d chuckled Malnar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat looks great on you!\u201d agreed Lardeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThanks, you guys!\u201d replied Arsha. \u201cSo, you ready to see what the Crown Princess goes through to become the Mid-Queen?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou know it!\u201d answered Falnii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI personally can\u2019t wait to see you ascend!\u201d said Gorfanth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWell, we\u2019ve got two days left, so be ready!
