I could not have asked for smoother sailing. We were approaching Foundation Prime and Megumi was nowhere in sight. I toured the Dominus<\/em>, looking at each bulkhead, each door, each tiny rivet that propelled me to victory. It was a leisurely tour, no need to rush victory. A couple of Engineers saluted me as I passed. I returned the salute and they returned to the minor maintenance needed to make the ship more efficient. A Combatman approached me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYEE! YEE!\u201d (We\u2019re approaching the coordinates. All Sources have unlocked the way for us.) he reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSplendid,\u201d I praised. \u201cI shall be on the bridge to witness our victory. Once we enter, begin a sweep for the Foundation Element pedestal. It should be intact.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYEE!\u201d (Yes, Great Leader!) replied the Combatman. I strolled to the bridge as he hurried off to relay my instructions. When I arrived, the bridge crew was hard at work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTime to Universal Entrance?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUniversal Entrance will occur in 20 rels!\u201d reported the Dalek Operator at the helm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne minute,\u201d translated Igura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cExcellent,\u201d I chuckled. Who needs Foundation Elements? The Sources will provide me the Foundation of All Universes far better than random trinkets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA ground force is guarding the Foundation Element pedestal!\u201d called Metalran. \u201cIt\u2019s the Vortex Riders!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow did they get ahead of us?!\u201d shouted Igura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSave the speculations for later!\u201d I ordered. \u201cRaise shields and charge weapons!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEr, guys!\u201d I gulped as I saw the enemy charging their weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLast I checked,\u201d remarked Rogue, \u201cthat Kamen Rider is dead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNot what I saw in Build\u2019s show,\u201d chuckled Sengoku. \u201cI think a guy called Killbas restored his memories once the Build Riders came to the main Kamen Rider world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ll take care of him later,\u201d dismissed Rogue. \u201cRight now, I have major annoyances to deal with! Kamen Rider Rogue! Stand and deliver!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDaleks conquer and destroy!\u201d repeated all Daleks aboard the Dalek-only saucer, the Jewel of Skaro<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFusion Cannon now online!\u201d reported Drone 7427983.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOpen fire!\u201d I ordered. \u201cImmediately! IMMEDIATELY!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI obey!\u201d confirmed Drone 7427983. The Fusion Cannon causes the individual atoms of the target to come together before a small particle of anti-matter makes the target detonate in a display that humans would call dazzling. I suppose I would call the destruction of the Tarlaxian ship beautiful as fire burned away that which was impure. While it was by a small fraction, the multiverse THAT now that much cleaner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve lost the Armadillorg<\/em>,\u201d reported my tactical officer, Glaciandro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStatus of enemy shields?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat enemy shields?\u201d replied Glaciandro, his voice indicating he was ready to avenge those who gave their lives to protect Tarlax and the multiverse, especially since his sister was on that ship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDestroy them!\u201d I ordered. He wasted no time in obeying my command. The enemy ship was destroyed, along with its fellow ships in the enemy fleet. They were at 400 when they arrived on Foundation Prime, now that number has been halved! We\u2019ve only lost 100 of our ships and we were going to ensure that their sacrifices were NOT in vain!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, well!\u201d I taunted Rogue as we clashed. \u201cLooks like things are crumbling around you, Oto-san!\u201d (Father)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI see it differently,\u201d replied Rogue as he converted his guns into sh\u014dt\u014d (Japanese short sword) mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHave you gone senile?!\u201d I yelped as I converted my gun to sword mode. \u201cRogue, your fleet is halved, your ground forces are halted, and your attempt to get to the pedestal is going up in smoke! Surrender while you can!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think so!\u201d replied Rogue. \u201cMy fleet will still win the day, your ground forces are only 40 strong while mine are 600 strong, and you idiots didn\u2019t check to see if the Sources have reached the pedestal!\u201d I turned to see if what he was saying was true. …It was! The Sources were aligned with the pedestal! They powered the thing just like the Foundation Elements did and revealed a newly constructed green square! The Foundation of All Universes was back! \u201cPerfect!!\u201d cheered Rogue. \u201cBring the Apocalypse Riders to their respective sources!\u201d The Combatmen then managed to wrangle the Apocalypse Riders and get them to their respective Sources. …Well…three out of five were successful. \u201cWait, what are you two doing?\u201d asked Rogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYEE!\u201d (Putting the Apocalypse Riders at their respective Sources.) replied a Combatman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo, you\u2019re not! Death is supposed to be at the blue one, not the purple one!\u201d answered Rogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYEE!\u201d (They\u2019re both blue!) argued the Combatman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Can you two not see red?\u201d asked Rogue. The Combatmen looked sheepish. \u201cLook, just switch them, okay?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYEE!\u201d (I told you we needed those optic upgrades!) snapped the other Combatman as they obeyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYEE!\u201d (Shut up.) grumbled the first Combatman. I struggled in trying to get the Combatmen holding me down off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOff!\u201d I growled! \u201cI said…\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t need to move, not yet,\u201d interjected Batman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Dude, WHY?!\u201d I argued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, yeah!\u201d mused Lance in a faraway voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou too?!\u201d I hissed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, they MUST have seen it done,\u201d replied Battle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat are you…oh…OH!\u201d I realized the mistake Shocker Rift made! Unfortunately, so did Adaptus!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDisconnect the Apocalypse Riders!\u201d she called.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAre you malfunctioning?!\u201d shouted Rogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDisconnect them NOW!\u201d insisted Adaptus. Just then, with just one hand, all Apocalypse Riders threw the Combatmen holding them aside!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter now!\u201d laughed Rogue. \u201cThe Foundation of All Universes will be mine!\u201d He continued laughing and laughing and laughing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Horsemen are in total control of the Sources!\u201d elaborated Adaptus. \u201cThey have some plan to set you back!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cImpossible!\u201d dismissed Rogue. \u201cIf they value their friends\u2019 lives, they will obey!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNOW!\u201d called Death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDAI SUPER CHARGE!\u201d I announced. I managed to get a hand free and spun the wheel twice. My armor bulked up and exploded off of me to get my captors off while revealing my new form as Kamen Rider Vortex! My former captors were knocked into Batman and Gandalf\u2019s, so they got up and fought off the others so everyone could be freed. Death and her friends put both hands on the Sources and gave more energy to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWAIT! NO! STOP! THAT\u2019S TOO MUCH!\u201d wailed Rogue. Too late. The energy the Sources were putting out separated the Foundation of All Universes into four fragments once again and scattered them to four different directions. \u201cNo! No! Nonononono NOOOOO!\u201d wailed Rogue before he slumped to his knees. \u201c…What just happened?!\u201d he asked uselessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDid you really think we\u2019d let you have the Sources without having a back-up plan?\u201d asked Apocalypse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe had our suspicions that you would try and control us with a hostage situation,\u201d explained Death, \u201cso we asked Megumi, during prep, to keep her Vortex form on standby.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have to admit,\u201d I supplied, \u201cI was a little confused when they asked that, but I can\u2019t argue with the results!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo, when the time came,\u201d finished War, \u201cwe\u2019d upend your plans and cause some severe damage to your tiny empire!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019VE HEARD ENOUGH!\u201d roared Rogue as he performed his poses. \u201cDAI SUPER CHARGE!\u201d His armor then changed into dark purple and black as it bulked up before exploding off of him, turning him into Kamen Rider Rift! He summoned his Rift Breaker as I summoned my blade and we clashed viciously! \u201cWhy do you insist on interfering?!\u201d roared Rift. \u201cWe are bringing order to chaos!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHave you learned nothing from Vortech?!\u201d I protested. \u201cYou can\u2019t have order without chaos! Read some Berlin! You might learn a thing or two!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI presume you\u2019re talking about the idiot that babbled on about \u2018positive\u2019 and \u2018negative\u2019 liberty?!\u201d growled Rift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHey, that man got away from Stalinist Russia and got a safe distance away from the Nazi invasion of Britain!\u201d argued Guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI may need to read his work,\u201d mused K\u00e4mpfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re not going to survive that long!\u201d roared Rift. He holstered his guns before pulling the triggers and leaping into the air. I then spun the wheel and leapt into the air; my target identified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFinal attack!\u201d announced my belt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRIDER VORTEX KICK!\u201d I shouted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRIDER RIFT KICK!\u201d shouted Rift. He was aiming for the Sources while I aimed for his belt. Our feet temporarily connected as we pushed against one another in the air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow do modern Riders DO that?!\u201d asked Ichig\u014d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStill trying to figure that out,\u201d replied Sengoku. We continued pushing and pushing and pushing until…my foot went past his and smashed the Rift Driver! He fell, exploding, then tumbling out of the explosion as Adachi Hiro. The ruined remains of the Rift Driver fell after him. He scrambled to pick them up in a panic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDriver! Driver, say something!\u201d he wailed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHiro…\u201dgroaned the Rift Driver, \u201cthese are…my last words. …First of all…screw you! You never…valued my advice. Second…I should never have…found your universe. It looks like I just caused…chaos all around the place…by you reverse-engineering…me. Third…you ARE obsessed with her! As such…you no longer deserve…my power!\u201d The Rift Driver then, for lack of a better term, died. Hiro still cradled the remains of his old belt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI say this only one last time,\u201d I declared, \u201csurrender!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c…Abandon Foundation Prime,\u201d Hiro ordered over the comms. His men looked at him. \u201cAll ground forces, return to the ships. We cannot take this universe with the Vortex Riders as they are with the numbers we have. Abandon Foundation Prime.\u201d They were beamed aboard their remaining fifty ships. The ships then departed Foundation Prime as we were beamed aboard the Virginia<\/em>. Turretorg was commanding the vessel while we were on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
