\u201cBesides,\u201d supplied Sandy\u2019s other mother, Natalie, \u201cI\u2019ve always wanted to see the Chizarans again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right, the equipment\u2019s all set up,\u201d called Tails. He turned to Optimus and Megatron. \u201cAny questions or gripes?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJust one question,\u201d answered Megatron, \u201cwhy am I going to the Realms? The Decepticons aren\u2019t exactly on good terms with Arsha and her crew.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBecause I want you two to try and make peace,\u201d answered Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOptimus-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s an order from your Prime.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026You enjoy that way too much, for my liking.\u201d He turned to Tails. \u201cNo further questions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHold it!\u201d called Sonic as he, his family, and Optimus and Megatron\u2019s families came running up. \u201cYou\u2019re not going without us, are you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was about ready to call you guys!\u201d chuckled Optimus. \u201cKids, Nightbird, this is your first incursion into another world, yes?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDaddy, just promise me,\u201d urged Firestorm, \u201cthat we\u2019re gonna be all right.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf the coordinates are correct,\u201d replied Optimus, \u201cwe\u2019ll be among friends.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRift points are set,\u201d called Tails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAway we go, then,\u201d rumbled Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTails, do it!\u201d called Sonic. Tails activated the machinery and a blue portal opened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s a dimensional rift, all right!\u201d chuckled Optimus. \u201cLet\u2019s roll out!\u201d Optimus, Megatron, Sonic, and their spouses and kids went into the rift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Arsha and one of her husbands, Lardeth, were talking to her Over-realm in-laws, Endram, Teefmanam, and Pofomofo, three of Lardeth\u2019s parents. Lardeth had wrapped Arsha up in his clouds as they cuddled. \u201cSo, I got to thinking,\u201d mused Arsha, \u201cwith Rulamer marrying into the Forsornas, we need to learn a little Felansi dancing ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou go ahead, I have two left feet,\u201d chuckled Endram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, horse-pucky!\u201d replied Teefmanam. \u201cI\u2019m the one with the terrible dancing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI don\u2019t know, you two danced just fine when Endram married us,\u201d mused Pofomofo. She then turned to Lardeth. \u201cWhat about you? How did they dance?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think I was more interested in the dessert table that day,\u201d chuckled Lardeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Fair point.\u201d Pofomofo was about to say something else when a commotion came through the castle. Arsha and Lardeth got up and looked out the window to see the guards gathering at the south wall. Arsha then made a call to Malnar as she was touring the south wall at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMalnar, what\u2019s going on?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cArsha, you\u2019re not gonna believe it,\u201d replied Malnar, \u201cbut I think a dimensional rift just opened up! It\u2019s just near the wall and-!\u201d The answer was interrupted by yelps from Malnar and the guards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMalnar!\u201d called Lardeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m all right! Something just hit the wall and\u2026oh my word!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat is it?!\u201d asked Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s Sonic and Amy! They\u2019ve got other hedgehogs, Blackarachnia, one that looks like an Optimus fanboy, three more female Transformers, and one that has the Decepticon symbol on his chest!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat are they doing with a Decepticon?\u201d asked Lardeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll find out!\u201d declared Arsha. \u201cMalnar, where are they now?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey\u2019re\u2026well\u2026unconscious,\u201d answered Malnar. \u201cThey came out of the rift and hit the wall at high speed. There\u2019s a pretty sizable dent in it, but it\u2019s still standing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll be right there,\u201d replied Arsha. She ended the call and she and Lardeth headed to where Sonic and his companions impacted. A woman with fox ears and nine cow tails, Arsha and Gorfanth\u2019s daughter, Geltar, approached them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMama, what\u2019s going on here?\u201d asked Geltar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf I\u2019m right,\u201d mused Arsha, \u201cold friends from beyond the Realms.\u201d The new arrivals groaned as they got up. Sonic opened his eyes and looked around. He then saw Amy picking herself up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEasy!\u201d he urged as he helped. \u201cI got you!\u201d Blackarachnia then got up and picked up the \u201cOptimus Fanboy\u201d and the female Autobots with them. The Decepticon then woke up and helped his compatriots up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cScrap, that hurt!\u201d rasped the Decepticon. Arsha\u2019s eyes goggled. She recognized that voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou!\u201d she snapped. \u201cMegatron!\u201d Megatron then turned to see her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAh, Princess Royana,\u201d greeted Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s QUEEN Royana to you!\u201d snarled Arsha. \u201cArchers!\u201d Archers then leveled their arrows at him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhoa! Hey!\u201d called the \u201cFanboy\u201d. \u201cPut those things down!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow, that voice, I remember fondly!\u201d chuckled Arsha. \u201cSo, you and Megatron got upgraded, hm?\u201d Optimus smirked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSure did! Boy, we\u2019ve got a lot to tell you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Just you Autobots and Sonic, right?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo, Megatron and his family too,\u201d replied Blackarachnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy? Megatron\u2019s a threat to the Realms. All Decepticons are.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTherein lies why we all need to talk.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Geltar, Farmee, and Yufantel spoke with Sky Runner, Firestorm, Silver, Daniel, and Galvatron. \u201cSo you guys are from another Realm?\u201d asked Farmee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI guess so,\u201d replied Galvatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd your dads fought each other?\u201d asked Geltar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah, a sibling rivalry that went too far,\u201d answered Firestorm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCome on, it was more than that!\u201d protested Sky Runner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd one of you time-traveled?\u201d asked Yufantel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEr, more like a version of me from a different timeline,\u201d replied Silver. \u201cAt least that\u2019s what everyone says.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Right, sorry,\u201d said Yufantel as she shook her head. \u201cIt\u2019s just a little hard to take in. A world where there are robots that can think and feel as we do, a different type of Anthros, aliens, the laws of magic working differently than ours\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou think that\u2019s crazy?\u201d asked Daniel. \u201cElves, dwarves, a considerate high class, ships that have organic extensions, it ain\u2019t normal!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot to us, no,\u201d remarked Sky Runner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Yeah, different versions of normal for different people, I guess.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd I thought the 3V2R was a bedtime story Mama Arsha told us when we were kids,\u201d muttered Farmee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking of the 3V2R, Arsha and her spouses were finishing up their story. \u201cSo, after the eclipse faded, the Talkwen Stone sucked all the Divine Mana out of them and dispersed it across the Realms, constantly making new Realms,\u201d regaled Arsha. \u201cThey became mortal, and we managed to slay them, leaving Dr. Borg for last. I had the dubious honor of killing her and then, after a rest, we went through reconstruction and Malnar, Lardeth, and I became the new rulers of the Realms, then I proposed to everyone, and we became the rulers of all the Realms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s no easy feat,\u201d rumbled Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo, it isn\u2019t,\u201d replied Malnar coldly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, what about you guys?\u201d asked Arsha. \u201cWhen did you start families?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJust after our war ended,\u201d answered Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd it\u2019s really over?\u201d asked Lardeth. \u201cYou two stopped fighting?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, it was a rather convoluted road,\u201d replied Nightbird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou see, like you guys, we had a creator and destroyer,\u201d explained Blackarachnia. \u201cTurns out they were two halves of the same being that wanted to see if light or darkness will prevail and used us as lab rats to find out. We fought his dark half once.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat was when Sonic and I were getting together,\u201d interjected Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAfter the destroyer\u2019s defeat,\u201d continued Megatron, \u201cthe real guardian of the planet, Gaia, woke up. Optimus and Blackarachnia married, then we all went to Cybertron the long way as Starscream shut down the Space Bridge Network. After a few fights, we learned about Primacron and that Starscream was Primacron\u2019s first creation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat screechy loudmouth?\u201d asked Lardeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat was our reaction too!\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cSo, anyway, we get wise to Primacron\u2019s plan, Starscream got ticked and informed his masters. Then we freed a supercomputer and put it into an organic body-\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVector Sigma did that himself,\u201d reminded Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRight, he did, sorry. After that, we convinced the Galactic Council to fight Primacron\u2019s forces with us and we won by freeing Gaia\u2019s moms, Lux and Umbra. With them free, we beat Primacron.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd then you signed a peace treaty?\u201d asked Arsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Not\u2026immediately. Megatron and I had one last fight before that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOptimus won, but official records say that Cybertron was tired of fighting itself,\u201d explained Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, we made reparations with our universe and now we\u2019re part of an interstellar alliance,\u201d finished Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m glad things worked out for you,\u201d said Arsha, \u201cbut I\u2019m not so sure as I\u2019m ready to forgive the Decepticons\u2019 actions when they first came to the Realms. Knock-out and Ratbat\u2019s destruction of a Fae Town still echoes in my mind and let\u2019s not forget what Soundwave did. So, Megatron, if you have an apology on the Decepticons\u2019 behalf, save it until I\u2019m in a better state of mind about that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Very well,\u201d replied Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An hour later, Optimus and Arsha were hugging each other as friends would. Megatron stood by and looked. Galvatron and Geltar approached him. \u201cMr. Megatron!\u201d called Geltar. \u201cI\u2019m gonna be showing Optimus\u2019 kids and your son around the shipyards! They wanted to meet Endea and Glanthel! Want to come?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou kids go without me,\u201d grunted Megatron. \u201cI\u2019m fine here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right then, see you later!\u201d replied Geltar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou mind going on ahead?\u201d Galvatron asked Geltar. \u201cI need to talk to Dad for a second.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSure thing! Meet me at the North Wall when you\u2019re done!\u201d Geltar then left the two bots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou want to say something?\u201d Megatron asked his son.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDad, you\u2019ve always said for me not to repeat your sins,\u201d replied Galvatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026What does that have to do with-?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat about you making amends with the Realms? That\u2019s what Optimus asked you to do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGalvatron, some sins will follow you to the grave.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFrom what I read from history books and what I gleaned from your teachings, that only happens if you let them. Come on and interact, that might help you get SOME peace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSon, I don\u2019t know if I told you this, but even when I was an Autobot, I wasn\u2019t the most sociable of bots. I\u2019m fine being alone on this one.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026All right, but I think you\u2019re making a mistake.\u201d Galvatron then headed off. Megatron rolled his optics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI thought I<\/em> was the parent,\u201d he grumbled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cEven parents need to learn from their children as much as their children learn from them,\u201d said Nightbird\u2019s voice from the side. She was leaning against the castle walls like he was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWould you stop that?!\u201d snapped Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHave to practice my stealth skills somehow,\u201d chuckled Nightbird. \u201cOur son IS right, though. You ARE making a mistake.
