Life goggled in amazement. \u201cSo pretty!\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd there\u2019s plenty of room for you here,\u201d replied Death. War then approached them and was inspecting her sword.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDeath, can I borrow your scythe sharpener?\u201d she asked. \u201cI think my sword is-\u201d She finally caught sight of Life and locked her shocked gaze at her. Her sword fell out of her hands and made a loud clang. \u201c\u2026Life?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHello, War,\u201d replied Life. War stumbled over to Life and removed her gauntlet. Her battle-scarred hand then reached to Life\u2019s cheek and Life took the hand and pressed it against her face. \u201cI\u2019m real, War. \u2026I\u2019m back.\u201d War\u2019s eyes released tears, then she gathered Life into a bear-hug while laughing proudly. \u201cAnd there\u2019s the bear-hug!\u201d groaned Life as War spun around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIT\u2019S WONDERFUL TO SEE YOU AGAIN, SISTER!\u201d boomed War happily. She then set Life down. \u201cIt\u2019s been far too long! Welcome home!\u201d She looked back into the mansion. \u201cFAMINE! PESTILENCE! GET OVER HERE! LIFE\u2019S BACK!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBellowing again, War?\u201d wheezed a voice as Pestilence entered the room. \u201cAnd making crass jokes, I thought you had-!\u201d She stopped when she saw Life. Famine then came into the room grabbing a slice of pizza from the box in her hand. When Famine saw Life, she stopped, stared, and dropped the box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Life?\u201d asked Famine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd she\u2019s real!\u201d assured War. Life gathered Pestilence and Famine into a hug. Famine quickly ate her pizza slice before she and Pestilence returned the hug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur sister, home at last!\u201d sobbed Famine happily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat\u2019s going on here?\u201d asked a voice. Lacey then entered the room and saw the scene. She locked eyes with Life. \u201c\u2026Death\u2019s counterpart, I presume?\u201d she asked, a little uncertain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd you\u2019re the human that became the new Chaos!\u201d cheered Life. \u201cYou helped Megumi beat Vortech twice, yes?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI did,\u201d confirmed Lacey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFascinating! No human\u2019s ever handled even a fraction of a Horseman\u2019s power, much less all of it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI had to go through some pretty rough training to handle it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAll in the span of a month, if I recall,\u201d remarked War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA month?!\u201d yelped Life. \u201cYou four subjected her to the most hellacious training in a month?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOddly enough,\u201d replied Pestilence, \u201cher old human lifestyle helped her grasp the more advanced training rather quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou see,\u201d said Lacey, \u201cI came from Springfield, located in Universe T-H-3-5-1-M-P-5-0-N-5.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWait, is that the universe where everyone has an overbite, and the dominant skin-tone is mustard yellow?\u201d asked Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThat\u2019s the one. I had parents, but Death had to take Mom and Dad was an abusive man-child. I became the stereotypical goth until the Vortech Wars. During my training, I asked for Dad\u2019s memories of me and his marriage to Mom to be wiped, so he\u2019s living alone there. I then changed my appearance to what you see now and helped Megumi along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou and Megumi became the prophesied heroes during the Vortech Wars,\u201d reminded Famine as she polished off her pizza and grabbed a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd now I\u2019ve got a husband and daughter,\u201d continued Lacey, \u201cand life with them and my sisters has been awesome ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd the daughter was born here?\u201d asked Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd raised here too. Thank goodness for that. There\u2019s something in this universe\u2019s water that makes the students immortal after continual consumption. It even resurrects the dead and gives them a new body.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026When did this factoid come about?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt was confirmed by Vortoranii\u2019s ghost about 500 years ago, local time-scale,\u201d explained Death. \u201cApparently, in their early days, the Chizarans created other universes to seek immortality. This was one of the failed experimental universes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGreat, so Vortoranii tricked you all into using this universe as a place for After Academy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYeah, we weren\u2019t happy with that. We made it work, though.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFor some odd reason, we didn\u2019t perceive the passage of time until the Vortech Wars,\u201d explained Famine as she finished putting a mountain of parmesan cheese on her spaghetti and started eating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd Lacey\u2019s new Academy House has really brought the students in,\u201d War said with pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Is there room for a new House based on Philosophy?\u201d asked Life. Death put a hand on her shoulder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAlways,\u201d she replied. \u201cWe\u2019d be honored to have you be the Philosophy Department Head, should you wish.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI accept!\u201d The Horsemen of the Apocalypse then embraced their once-lost sister of Flourishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWelcome home, Life,\u201d sighed Death happily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Richard returned home after a job hunt. He went into his house and climbed the steps up to the living room. Gathered around the coffee table were his daughters, Farmee, and Galvatron\u2019s holo-form. They were playing a card game. &nbsp;\u201c\u2026You kids having fun?\u201d asked Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHi, Daddy,\u201d replied Kaitlyn. \u201cI think Farmee\u2019s having the most fun right now. He\u2019s picked up the nuances of the game fast enough to spank us all!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat game are you playing?\u201d That\u2019s when Kaede raged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWHAT IS THIS GAME, DUDE?!\u201d she shrieked as she pulled cards out from a deck. \u201cARE YOU SERIOUS?! GIVE ME A GREEN! OR A SEVEN!! JUST! ONCE! WHAT?! ARE?! YOU?! DOING?! HOLY #*@&amp;!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOh no,\u201d realized Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNo, Mr. Saunders,\u201d answered Galvatron as he and the rest of the players laughed at Kaede\u2019s misfortune, \u201cUno.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Okay, that was good,\u201d chuckled Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFINALLY!\u201d shouted Kaede as she pulled out a card she got from the deck. She threw a green eight onto the central pile and glared at Farmee. Farmee just smiled and pulled a card out from his hand. It was a green reverse card, one of the most dreaded cards in Uno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNo, don\u2019t do it!\u201d laughed Kaitlyn. Kaede silently begged Farmee not to put that card down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSorry, Madam,\u201d said Farmee. He wasn\u2019t, really, otherwise he wouldn\u2019t have played the card. Kaede just stared at the pile in disbelief and fury as Kaitlyn and Galvatron laughed. She then looked at Farmee\u2019s hand of two cards and looked at her own eighteen-card hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026I DON\u2019T HAVE A GREEN!\u201d she wailed in rage. Farmee just sat in smugness as Kaitlyn and Galvatron were in hysterics. Kaede then let out the loudest shriek imaginable. She then slumped over and started pulling cards and adding them to her hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOkay, you kids have fun,\u201d chuckled Richard. Kaede just flipped him off. \u201cOh, come on! That was unnecessary!\u201d he laughed. He then headed to his and Megumi\u2019s bedroom to change into his casual clothes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNO!\u201d wailed Farmee\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLost his edge, I see,\u201d Richard chuckled to himself. He then realized that the shower was running. A Japanese song left the bathroom and drew Richard to the door. He tapped on the door loudly enough for the occupant to hear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYes?\u201d called Megumi\u2019s voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s Richard,\u201d replied Richard. \u201cI see our kids are teaching Uno to Farmee and Galvatron.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWell, Farmee, mainly,\u201d corrected Megumi as she turned the shower off. \u201cGalvatron already knew the nuances of the game. Who\u2019s winning?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNot sure. All I know is that Farmee just lost his lead.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI guess he got a little cocky.\u201d Megumi shut the shower off and Richard heard her take a towel off the rack. \u201cIt\u2019s nice to see our girls expand their circle of friends, hm?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c\u2026Farmee, yes. But Galvatron\u2026\u201d Megumi opened the door as she finished wrapping her towel around her chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou\u2019re not objecting to them befriending Galvatron because he\u2019s a Decepticon, I trust?\u201d she hissed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe\u2019s not just a Decepticon, sweetie! He\u2019s Daddy Megatron\u2019s successor!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe\u2019s also a kinder leader than Megatron was!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMegumi, there are only two known Transformer-based universes where Optimus and Megatron stopped fighting each other! One is IDW\u2019s first run of <em>Transformers<\/em> comics; the other is <em>Transformers: Prime<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo, this would be the third known universe! Besides, Sonic and Optimus both vouched for the Decepticons!\u201d Megumi headed for the closet. \u201cIf I might be frank, you\u2019re making the same objections Arsha confided to me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m gonna have to side with her! Transformers with red optics, as a rule, can\u2019t be trusted!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo, we should distrust Blackarachnia, hm?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis isn\u2019t about her!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShe\u2019s got red optics and Optimus still married her. Richard, you have Thundercracker on your team.
