She was at the First Palace, just under the minaret. Her sleepy mind started slowly running through the sequence of events. She was in Radagast Steel, she was getting Assimilated Wargs off of Peace\u2019s back, then\u2026nothing. \u201cWh\u2026whahoppen?\u201d she asked sleepily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou all took a nice, long nap,\u201d explained Peace\u2019s voice. Emily looked up to see Peace sitting near her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026A\u2026A nap? \u2026In the middle of a fight?\u201d asked Emily as the weariness slowly vanished. \u201cBut\u2026but what about-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, I DID induce your nap,\u201d explained Peace. \u201cI used the power of my source to put everyone to sleep long enough for me to get your enemies out of this universe. They\u2019ll be picked up in a more-remote universe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026How long did that take?\u201d asked Emily. Peace tried to recall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cErm\u2026two hours, I think.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTWO HOURS?!\u201d yelped Emily as she sprang to her feet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRelax, my dear,\u201d soothed Peace. \u201cYou and your friends are safe. I moved you all to the First Palace so the work to restore Adrexia can begin. \u2026But you and your team need me back, don\u2019t you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026We do,\u201d replied Emily. \u201cPeace, I\u2019m sure you enjoyed your life here among the Adrexians, but the sad fact is that Cyber-Priestess Gi\u2019s boss, Khan the Author, has seized control of the Tome and intends to use my friends\u2019 3V2R prizes and the Sources of the Apocalypse and Flourishment as well as the Tome to rewrite reality as we know it to his rather Mary-sue whims.\u201d She looked guilty at admitting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDo not regret telling me my old life is over,\u201d assured Peace. \u201cIt was going to happen eventually. Besides, it would be nice to see all my surviving sisters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere\u2019s a new sister for you to meet back home,\u201d said Emily. \u201cOur friend, Lacey Atmadja, is the new Chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wyldstyle was quickly restored to her flesh and blood state and sighed in relief. \u201cYou have no idea how much that stuff dug into me!\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, the Borg don\u2019t really consider comfort necessary,\u201d replied Emily. \u201cYou\u2019re all set, Lucy!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not-!\u201d Wyldstyle drew in a breath and calmed down. \u201cWe\u2019ll talk about that later.\u201d She and Emily then rejoined the team as Lurazzi approached them with a maid next to her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLadies,\u201d said Lurazzi, \u201cwe Adrexians owe you a debt of gratitude. You and your female friends, and that includes ladies that were once men, are more than welcome to visit whenever you wish! Now Lurazzi was the maid and the former maid wore regal clothes. \u201cYour first act, Queen Hezami?\u201d Lurazzi asked the former maid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emily and her team were greeted with a hero\u2019s welcome! When it was revealed that Wyldstyle was freed, Batman and Gandalf managed to catch up with her. \u201cWyldstyle, does Khan know yet?\u201d Batman asked her. \u201cAbout the Apocalypse Sources?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot when I was last connected to the Lords,\u201d replied Wyldstyle. \u201cHe still doesn\u2019t know where specifically they are, only the universes they\u2019re in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen we still have a chance,\u201d said Gandalf. He then noticed Megumi looking out beyond the mountains of Beyond City\u2019s borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Hey, Megumi!\u201d called Wyldstyle. Megumi didn\u2019t stir. The three then approached her. They saw that her face was one of concern. Gandalf looked out in the same direction as Megumi.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026The new veiling shadow that glowers outside this universe takes shape for you,\u201d he said. Megumi nodded. \u201c\u2026Khan will suffer no rival,\u201d continued Gandalf. \u201cFrom the bowels of the Lord Unicomplex, the Author\u2019s eye watches as ceaselessly as Sauron\u2019s. But he is not so mighty yet that he is above fear. Doubt ever gnaws at him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt really does, Megumi,\u201d confirmed Wyldstyle. \u201cRumor has reached him that the three that make up Kamen Rider Vortex: Trinity Soul are repairing the means to summon her again. \u2026Khan fears that form, Megumi. He fears what it can do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019ll try to enslave the minds of the greatest villains of those universes, it\u2019s an old device he picked up from Saruman. His hold over those universes will be very strong. Khan and his allies are tightening the noose.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut, for all their backup plans and cunning, we still have one advantage,\u201d smiled Wyldstyle. \u201cThe Apocalypse Sources and the 3V2R prizes are still hidden. And that we should seek to keep them out of his grasp has not yet been thought of.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
