Jazz got the coordinates and temporarily changed his alt-mode to a coupe-styled Porsche 718 Cayman. He then changed his holo-form to a human of African ancestry with dreadlocks and a blue visor. Tom arched an eyebrow. \u201c\u2026Erm, Jazz,\u201d he said, \u201cthis is 21st<\/sup> Century New York City. The cops aren\u2019t exactly nice to black dudes, especially ones that drive nice cars. Once he arrived, he knocked on the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat do you want?!\u201d called a voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cJust here to conduct Hamato Clan business,\u201d replied Jazz. A young human in street hockey gear opened the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026You must be new,\u201d he said. \u201cNo one in the entire state\u2019s heard of the Hamato Clan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCombined interests,\u201d replied Jazz. \u201cMay I come in. Mister\u2026?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCasey Jones, and sure.\u201d Casey let Jazz in. The other guys in the apartment, Raphael, a young woman with her hair dyed neon red, and a Japanese woman in ninja-gear about Raphael\u2019s age all stared at Casey in disbelief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDude, what the hell?!\u201d protested Raphael.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCasey,\u201d said the ninja woman, \u201cwe\u2019re supposed to be undercover!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou can\u2019t just let any old guy in-!\u201d snapped the woman with neon red hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGuys, I know what this looks like,\u201d interrupted Jazz, \u201cbut I\u2019m here on Hamato Clan business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAre you, indeed?\u201d asked the ninja woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Wait, are you some Human Jazz cosplayer?\u201d asked the woman with neon-red hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Come outside and I\u2019ll show you all something more,\u201d replied Jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After a bit of convincing, Jazz pulled up in an alley with Raphael and the Mad Dogz watching. \u201cYou guys ready?\u201d asked Jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cJust do it,\u201d grunted Raphael. But what about you two?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou can call me either Karai or Hamato Miwa,\u201d replied the ninja woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026You\u2019re that little girl in the photo on Splinter\u2019s altar,\u201d realized Jazz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI was taken from him as a baby,\u201d replied Karai. \u201cTaken by Oroku Saki himself. But even then, I\u2019m seeing parallels between you and my best friend, Optimus Prime.\u201d Raphael saw where this was going and wasn\u2019t interested in a story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHey, did I just see a mugger-?\u201d April grabbed Raphael\u2019s shell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSit your shelled butt down, Raph,\u201d she said. \u201cI wanna hear this.\u201d Raphael grumbled and sat down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis took place on the planet of Mobius, once known as Earth,\u201d began Jazz. \u201cAfter us Autobots got settled in, Optimus got a little cuckoo in the head with power. The Matrix of Leadership bricked itself to him and he reverted back to his pre-Prime form, Orion Pax. In a move that still baffles me to this day, he went on a solo-journey around the world to try and fix it, but a witch (yes, magic\u2019s a thing on Mobius) gave him a kick in the pants, saying that he was starting to abuse that power. In the meantime, he left a holographic clone of himself, but the clone got worse, so we had to stage a mutiny against it. Given that the hologram was made of lights and forcefields, we were put on the backfoot, but Optimus managed to come back and shut it down\u2026through a YuGiOh duel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou\u2019re joking,\u201d grunted Raphael.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019m not! And it was as convoluted as any YuGiOh duel can get! \u2026But even so, Optimus felt guilty about the whole thing, leaving us with a psycho version of himself. But, over time, he forgave himself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cForgave himself? Even if that thing wasn\u2019t really him, it was based on him, wasn\u2019t it?! How could he forgive himself from that?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt wasn\u2019t an easy path for him, I\u2019ll be the first to admit. But, like you said, it WASN\u2019T him. And, if I heard the story right about you and your brothers, it was the Shredder that made you lose control to a degree.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTo a degree?! I was gonna kill Leo!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd yet I saw him alive and well, so my point still stands.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBesides, you heard how much of a monster I am!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Monster or merely a teenager that\u2019s trying to settle his head?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRaph, I gotta agree with Jazz here,\u201d interjected April. \u201cYou said that you didn\u2019t want to pose a danger to your brothers, right?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRight,\u201d replied Raphael.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI heard the same thing,\u201d said Jazz. \u201cBut they want you back. You wanna know why I stuck with Optimus?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Why?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBecause, deep down, I know he can rely on me to not let him turn evil. He said so himself when he became Optimus Prime again. I will bet you any money your family will do the same.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRaphael,\u201d said Karai, \u201cJazz would have won that bet. Take it from me, I wouldn\u2019t let you turn evil and neither will our brothers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat goes for me,\u201d said Casey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd me,\u201d agreed April.
