\u201cChecking now,\u201d replied the Brigadier. \u201c\u2026Victory confirmed! Foundation Prime is locked away from the entire multiverse and the Sources, Prizes, and Tome are inside! No life signs within Foundation Prime!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe can account for one of the villains,\u201d said Tom as he hauled a bedraggled Katie Barker to her feet. Her hair was loose and unkempt with her adornment hanging loose, her dress was torn and tattered, and her makeup had washed off from the sweat and tears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet me see if anyone else survived,\u201d said Death as she cancelled her transformation and checked her smartwatch. \u201c\u2026Well, it looks like Metaltron, Intrag, Nemesis Prime, and the Dalek Supreme survived as well, but Shocker Umbra\u2019s scattered to the point that they\u2019re all manageable factions now.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd Khan?\u201d asked Vortex: Trinity Soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe fell into the Sea of Reality,\u201d replied Death. \u201cHe\u2019s nothing more than an ugly thought now, and his initial soul\u2026is in Hell.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cANANSI!\u201d bellowed an angry voice before Vortex: Trinity Soul could answer. A rift opened and an African man in regal Akan clothing stepped out. He looked ANGRY! Anansi trembled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cN-N-Nyame!\u201d stammered the spider man. \u201cW-W-What a su-!\u201d The man, Nyame, the Sky Deity and Ruler of the Akan Gods, grabbed Anansi by the shirt and pulled him close so that they were nose to nose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen I said to leave the tricks for immortals like us, what did you hear?\u201d he hissed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026To leave the tricks for immortals like us!\u201d squeaked Anansi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSO WHY DID YOU DISOBEY ME AND DRAG MORTALS INTO THIS MESS?!\u201d roared Nyame as he shook Anansi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLord Nyame!\u201d called Death. \u201cBefore you justly punish him-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSpeak, Death!\u201d snarled Nyame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnansi\u2019s methods left a bad taste in everyone\u2019s mouth, there is no argument on that. But please consider this: the Tome is now safely locked away from everyone in the multiverse.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Explain,\u201d said Nyame, doubtful of what Death said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe plan was to use the energies the Author was going to abuse to lock Foundation Prime away. It needed raw, magical energy to help guide the energies into that position. And the best way to do that was to fire the magic energy at the Sources. The new Prime and her companions succeeded. The only way to unlock Foundation Prime is to use the Sources.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026But the Sources are locked within Foundation Prime, alongside the Prizes and the Tome,\u201d said Nyame. He then realized the plan. \u201c\u2026Just like a mortal accidentally locks their keys in their car!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOnly this time,\u201d continued Death, \u201cit was on purpose. Like I said, crude though his methods were, Anansi did the entire multiverse a favor by locking the Tome away from anyone to get.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026He still disobeyed me,\u201d said Nyame, \u201c\u2026but I cannot punish him so bad. ANANSI!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cY-Yes, Lord Nyame?!\u201d gulped Anansi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs you did the multiverse a favor in the long run, I will not sentence you to the Void. However, you are forbidden from travelling the multiverse for one thousand multiversal standard years! Return to our universe at once!\u201d Nyame opened a rift for Anansi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Y-Yes, Lord Nyame,\u201d replied Anansi, grateful for that little bit of mercy. He entered the rift. Nyame then looked at Vortex: Trinity Soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, Lord Nyame,\u201d replied Vortex: Trinity Soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLord Nyame, that was the best reward you could give her!\u201d praised Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I DO NOT ACCEPT FAILURE!\u201d She fired her gun at the Dalek Supreme, destroying the casing and killing the creature inside. Once it was confirmed dead, Metaltron sighed. \u201c\u2026Nemesis, Intrag, the time for recriminations IS past. It\u2019s time to look for new ways to build a new empire and regain our immortality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
