Over in the Royana Castle in Largandra, there was a crowd of media people gathering in front of a stage. An unusual event was held as the heirs to the thrones (Geltar, Farmee, and Yufantel) were holding a press conference before their coronation. While a bit unheard of, it wasn\u2019t unwelcome. The press people were giving all sorts of theories until Farmee took the central podium and magic avatars of Geltar in the Over-realm and Yufantel in the Under-realm appeared behind the podiums to either side of him. The three of them raised their hands for quiet from the audience. \u201cLords and ladies from the original Three Realms to the New Realms, my sisters and I will agree,\u201d began Farmee, \u201cthat it IS unusual for the heirs of the thrones to make an address to the people before their coronation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHowever,\u201d continued Geltar, \u201cthat is because we believe you all have the right to know about our plans for when we do take the thrones.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs many of you are aware,\u201d Yufantel went on, \u201cwe went on a journey that took us and our parents beyond the Realms, through other universes!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA few stops were familiar to our parents, and they reconnected with old friends,\u201d said Farmee. \u201cAnd those old friends have also stepped down, either through unfortunate death or through simple announcement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe made friends with the new rulers and we all came up with an idea that the three of us believe,\u201d Geltar indicated her siblings and herself, \u201cwill make our universes better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Cybertronians,\u201d continued Yufantel, \u201chave Space Bridge technology that can open portals between two points in space. We have the Realmgates. \u2026The technology to make Gateways that can open rifts between universes is there already for both universes!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou heard us correctly!\u201d cheered Farmee. \u201cWe\u2019re planning on making Gateways for us to visit other universes! Now, we will admit that traveling between universes is not for the timid. \u2026I\u2019m confident in saying that \u2018timid\u2019 is not a word used to describe any denizen of the Realms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow, we DO need to seek counsel on this,\u201d said Geltar, \u201cbut we believe we can at least start this project after our coronation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd our first universes we\u2019re connecting with are ones we know are in a state of peace,\u201d assured Yufantel. \u201cWe need to make negotiations as easy as possible for this endeavor after all.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll tell everyone how everything goes, but we hold high hopes for this particular project,\u201d said Farmee. \u201cNow, any questions? You, with your hand up in the third row.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour highnesses,\u201d asked the reporter, \u201care you suggesting immigration at this stage of the game?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo, not yet,\u201d replied Geltar. \u201cWe\u2019re suggesting visitors and trade.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOne of our allied universes,\u201d explained Yufantel, \u201chas real life Change-a-trons. Our media mentions that they\u2019re the size of our giants, some getting higher.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo we need to work on accommodating them in visitor terms first, THEN we start thinking about immigration,\u201d said Farmee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow, that readiness might not come during our rule or our heirs\u2019 rule, but we believe we can lay out the groundwork for that long-term goal,\u201d continued Geltar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd we will have help in constructing these new gateways,\u201d said Yufantel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Solara Prime and Silver made a similar announcement on their planets in their universe. Daniel had a few words with them after that. \u201cGuys, are you sure we\u2019re ready for that?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPositive,\u201d replied Silver. \u201cAnd we\u2019re starting with universes we KNOW are friendly to ours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBesides, we\u2019re starting to reach a period of stagnation,\u201d said Solara. \u201cThis project will help us stay innovative.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, that WILL be a mercy,\u201d conceded Daniel. \u201c\u2026What about that offer made to Optimus?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAbout him being resurrected? They\u2019re not all that hopeful,\u201d sighed Solara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Megumi, Optimus, and Blackarachnia waited outside a building. \u201cYou think they WILL resurrect you?\u201d Megumi asked Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI frankly doubt it,\u201d sighed Optimus. \u201cI mean, Solara IS currently running Cybertron.\u201d Life and Death came out looking downcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey said no?\u201d guessed Blackarachnia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSorry, Blackarachnia,\u201d sighed Death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s all right, I kind of expected it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat doesn\u2019t mean Optimus can\u2019t visit you,\u201d assured Life. \u201cBut the visits to the more mortal universes will be for moments at a time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStill\u2026\u201d sighed Blackarachnia. \u201c\u2026Promise me that he\u2019ll be happy here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou have our word,\u201d promised Death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After a few days, everyone was giving their goodbyes. Batman and his family departed for Gotham, then Gandalf returned to the Undying Lands, Wyldstyle then headed back to her home with Emmet, then Hongo returned to Japan. Arsha and her compatriots waited until the gateway was tuned to the Realms. \u201cHey, Arsha,\u201d called Megumi, \u201cdid you ever learn what happened to Dr. Borg after she abandoned us?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs a matter of fact, I found out through Death,\u201d replied Arsha. \u201cShe and her spouses are currently ruling an outer universe as gods in flesh and she and Remsu are pregnant with Shefarn and Tensam\u2019s kids.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Huh. \u2026Well, congratulations to them both. May their pregnancies be smooth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd may your future be filled with happiness, old friend,\u201d said Arsha as she brought Megumi into a hug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYours too,\u201d returned Megumi as she reciprocated the hug. The two Queens hugged each other for a while, then Arsha pulled back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cArsha to Endeavor<\/em>,\u201d she said through her comms, \u201clet\u2019s go home.\u201d Everyone was teleported to the Endeavor<\/em> and Glanthelantir<\/em>, then the two ships flew into a ship-sized rift. All that were left were the Transformers and their organic allies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cKong,\u201d called Optimus, \u201cbefore you go, why DO you not like being called Optimus Primal?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBecause I want my accomplishments to be my own, Prime,\u201d replied Kong. \u201cI know how much my head looks like yours, but Prowl and Bluestreak have the same head sculpt, right?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI see your point, Kong.\u201d Optimus looked to Solara. \u201cPrime, the heroes of Cybertron as well as the citizens they gathered have helped you a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI WILL be returning the favor like Galvatron is doing,\u201d promised Solara. \u201cWe\u2019ve commissioned a monument to those that fell during the crisis and getting all the facts of their lives so their stories can be told.\u201d Optimus smiled at that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMaking sure their lives have meaning,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s the highest honor anyone can get.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOptimus,\u201d interjected Blackarachnia, \u201cdon\u2019t you forget about us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI ask the same of you,\u201d replied Optimus, \u201cbut don\u2019t be weighed down by my memory, okay?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI won\u2019t,\u201d promised Blackarachnia. She then hugged and kissed Optimus. It took a while before they finally separated and Blackarachnia rejoined her people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGoodbye, Daddy,\u201d called Sky Runner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cStay safe here,\u201d said Firestorm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou girls too,\u201d replied Optimus. \u201cThat goes for all of you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMegatron, before you go,\u201d called Richard. Megatron looked down. \u201c\u2026Megatron, I know this isn\u2019t what you want to hear, but I need to open with this. I can\u2019t forgive or forget the actions you and the Decepticons took when we first met on Mobius\u2026but I CAN forgive the individual Decepticons\u2026and their leader.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026You forgive the people, but not the actions those people took?\u201d asked Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat\u2019s the idea. \u2026And Megatron\u2026I\u2019m sorry for being so unfair throughout this entire adventure to you and the Decepticons.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou changed, Mr. Saunders. You HAVE been fair to us during this adventure. Making friends with Thundercracker was proof enough. \u2026But I do accept your apology. And I must apologize for using your wife like that when we first met.\u201d Richard smiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026I accept,\u201d he replied. With that, everyone from Megatron\u2019s universe (sans Optimus) gathered around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSolara to all ships,\u201d called Solara, \u201cwe\u2019re ready to return.\u201d Everyone was beamed up to their ships and entered the rift. With that, everyone was back home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026That\u2019s twice we met during a crisis,\u201d muttered Optimus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWell, our kids have the right idea in planning the Gateway Construction Program,\u201d replied Megumi. \u201c\u2026I think they said they got the idea from when you guys just wanted to idly visit the Realms and us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cA great moment in time to draw inspiration from.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWell, let\u2019s make some more peaceful moments. Want a good look around?\u201d At that suggestion, Optimus transformed to vehicle mode and activated his holo-form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI drive, you point,\u201d he said.
