The naga goddess sighed as the warmth of the sunbeam went across her stomach and gently woke her. \u201cMmmm\u2026good morning, Nora.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMmm\u2026good morning, goddess,\u201d sighed the Dwarf woman happily. Ssylphiel kissed her new paramour before slithering to her vanity with the Dwarf in her coils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt was nice of you and your father to let us use the tavern for our party last night,\u201d said Ssylphiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMe father\u2019s an ol\u2019 softie,\u201d replied Nora. Ssylphiel was about to put on her makeup\u2026when she saw a piece of paper with pictures on the vanity table. She examined the paper carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026A receipt?\u201d she muttered. Nora saw the paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCan I see that?\u201d she asked. Ssylphiel handed her the receipt and Nora inspected. \u201c\u2026That\u2019s me father\u2019s handwriting,\u201d muttered the Dwarf woman. Her eyes went wide as she looked at each line item on the receipt. \u201cWhat in the hell\u2026?!\u201d she whispered. She was REALLY surprised when she saw the total! \u201cWha\u2026?!\u201d Ssylphiel goggled at the pictures and looked at the total on the receipt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026What did the rest of the girls DO last night?!\u201d she spluttered. She then used her mirror to call the designated lead girl from last night. \u201cSANLIEL!\u201d she shouted. The blue-skinned, green-haired Elf woman put her fingers to her lips as a pained look of getting over a hangover crossed her face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cShshshshhhhh!\u201d she said. \u201cYes, Mistress?\u201d she then whispered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI distinctly remember Nora and her father warning us,\u201d said Ssylphiel, \u201cthat they\u2019d charge us a cleaning fee if we left the tavern and forge a mess after our party last night.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMe father left a receipt and pictures of the damage from last night,\u201d explained Nora. \u201cI\u2019m not trying to be mean about collection, but holy HELL!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI knew that fee was gonna come up this morning,\u201d moaned Sanliel pitifully. \u201cI knew it the minute the living sundae contest got out of hand.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSo the brown substance Nora\u2019s father found,\u201d asked Ssylphiel, \u201cthat\u2019s all chocolate?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYes, Mistress,\u201d replied Sanliel. \u201cAnd the anvil had a really nice flat surface for a suction attachment, so, Nora, I\u2019d be careful around that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMe anvil?!\u201d Nora looked to see if her dad accounted for any damage for the anvil. \u201c\u2026Why was the horn of me poor anvil rusted?!\u201d she demanded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026Erm, what\u2019s the total damage?\u201d asked Sanliel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c943 gold, at least that\u2019s what Nora\u2019s father thinks is fair,\u201d replied Ssylphiel. \u201cI think he\u2019s being a bit generous.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNora, instead of me answering your question about the anvil,\u201d offered Sanliel, \u201chow about we make that a nice 1,000 gold? Make it a nice, cubed number.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cYou want me to not ask questions?\u201d asked Nora. \u201cYou\u2019re all helping me clean the tavern and forge as well as paying that fee! Mistress, I\u2019m sorry, but you\u2019re gonna have to help.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOf course, Sweet Nora,\u201d agreed Ssylphiel. \u201cWhy don\u2019t we\u2026\u201d she read something else on the receipt and saw the pictures. \u201c\u2026What\u2019s that red stuff on the tavern\u2019s rafters?\u201d Sanliel thought for a minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2026Oh, no!\u201d she assured Ssylphiel a second later. \u201cThat\u2019s not what you\u2019re thinking, Mistress. Jello wrestling.
