William saw the Doctor talking to a scaly man with a tall forehead and what would have been regal looking clothes. \u201cWilliam! Amy! Come over here!\u201d called the Doctor. William and Amy approached the Doctor and her scaly friend. \u201cI\u2019d like you all to mee Doh-Komoh, Emperor of the Draconians!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI WASSS Emperor of that grand rassse,\u201d replied the man. \u201cNow I am doomed to die working in the minesss of SSSkaro!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey\u2019ve got humans too, Doctor,\u201d said William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m not surprised, the Daleks hate humans especially,\u201d remarked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat kind of creatures are they?\u201d asked Amy. \u201cLiving machines like the Transformers?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat makes you say that?\u201d asked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA thousand times worse,\u201d corrected the Doctor. \u201cAll non-Daleks are pests to be exterminated either immediately or through prolonged work without rest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd they\u2019ve got the technology to ssspread that philosssophy acrossss the ssstarsss,\u201d said Doh-Komoh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSilence! Silence!\u201d barked a Dalek. \u201cYou will remain silent at all times!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLooks like production is going as anticipated,\u201d remarked Octus still in his Dalek alt-mode. He was talking to the Dalek Emperor through a visual call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow long until enough Energon for refinement is collected?\u201d asked the Emperor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTherein lies a pesky problem,\u201d replied Octus. \u201cSleep will overtake your slave labor when night falls just before enough Energon is collected to be refined. I can tell the workforce that they will work all night, if necessary.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI obey.\u201d The call ended, then Octus glanced around the room, his eyestalk taking in all the data he needed. \u201c\u2026No guards. \u2026Good! And I have all the data I need on production! The Daleks will learn more secrets of my former comrades! I shall be the Emperor of a new breed of Daleks! The Doctor will fall before our might! All enemies will be exterminated! AND UNDER MY CONTROL, THE DALEKS SHALL BECOME THE SUPREME BEINGS OF THE UNIVEEEEEEEEERRRRRSSSSEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Work had resumed in the mines. The Doctor was assigned to work with Optimus and Megatron. \u201cSo, you used to be a miner?\u201d she asked Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amy was assigned to clearing away the rocks that were dug up with Doh-Komoh. The Draconian man arched an eyebrow as he saw Amy work. \u201c\u2026Thossse rocksss are twissse your sssize. How-?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s nothing,\u201d replied Amy. \u201cMy hammer\u2019s heavier.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHammer?\u201d asked Doh-Komoh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPower fluctuations are affecting proper operations of all equipment!\u201d barked the Dalek Section Leader. \u201cYou will identify the cause and perform proper maintenance, Doctor!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Power fluctuations?\u201d mused the Doctor. \u201c\u2026I\u2019ll see what I can do. Any tools? Ah, there they are. Let\u2019s see\u2026\u201d The Doctor got to work and checked everything. There were a few stray wires, but nothing that would lead to a power fluctuation. A theory formed in her head. \u201c\u2026It\u2019s working,\u201d she said, \u201cbut I have a theory as to why you can\u2019t use it. \u2026I\u2019ll need to speak with the Emperor when he next visits the mines.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Emperor is en route now!\u201d replied the Section Leader. \u201cLead the way!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Emperor was accompanied by the entire Supreme Council. \u201cReport!\u201d he boomed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe work is going to go slowly unless you give us proper tools,\u201d replied Megatron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe tools you have will suffice!\u201d retorted the White and Black Supreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExcuse me!\u201d called the Doctor\u2019s voice. The rulers of Skaro then swiveled their eyestalks to the Doctor as the Section Leader brought her to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor!\u201d boomed the Emperor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the flesh,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u2018Your Section Leader had me conducting repairs and I developed a theory concerning your problem.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExplain!\u201d ordered the Emperor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, first off, I need to make sure I\u2019m perfectly surrounded by you lot.\u201d The Daleks looked at each other in confusion. What was their greatest enemy planning? The Doctor looked around and smirked. \u201cYep! Can\u2019t escape! Good! Now\u2026exterminate me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWHAT?!\u201d called William from his and Amy\u2019s position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDOCTOR, NO!\u201d shouted Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou offer your life to the Daleks?\u201d asked the Emperor. \u201cAll just to test a theory?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the idea,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cIf I\u2019m wrong, then you\u2019re finally rid of your greatest enemy. You lot DO still remember how to kill a Time Lord permanently, yes? Kill them beyond the hope of regeneration?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDOCTOR!\u201d protested William. The Supreme Council looked to the Emperor for orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Your terms are acceptable, Doctor!\u201d boomed the Emperor. \u201cAll Daleks, it is time to end our war against the Ka Faraq Gatri! EXTERMINATE THE DOCTOR!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
