A lot of the Order of Hissteria went to see their families for the Winter Solstice. Ssylphiel and Bea already had their celebrations at Coilzette and William\u2019s respective palaces, now Bea was going with her blood parents for a long overdue family celebration. Right now, it was just Ssylphiel in her private room, staring at the fire flickering in her fireplace. She always missed the noise of the palace when her harem was gone. She was about to go get herself some eggnog when she heard a knock on her door. \u201c\u2026Hello?\u201d asked Ssylphiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCan we come in, Mistress?\u201d asked a familiar voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBeth?!\u201d Ssylphiel got up and slithered to the door. It wasn\u2019t just Beth, it was her, Shannon, Sanliel, and Nora! \u201cWhat are you girls doing here?!\u201d asked Ssylphiel. \u201cI thought you\u2019d be celebrating with your families!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe already did, Mistress,\u201d replied Nora. \u201cBut ye\u2019re all alone here!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd the Winter Holidays,\u201d continued Sanliel, \u201care all about joining together with family and friends, those you care about.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, if you\u2019re all right with it,\u201d said Shannon, \u201cwe\u2019d like to celebrate with you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Girls, you four are the sweetest!\u201d said Ssylphiel as happy tears rolled down her face. \u201cCome on in!\u201d With that, the girls entered the room, following Ssylphiel to the fireplace. The fire felt a lot warmer, now that she had people with her. They all settled down with Ssylphiel coiling her girls\u2019 ankles and tummies. They sat there for a while, not talking about anything, nor did they need to. They just sat there and enjoyed one another\u2019s company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Mistress,\u201d said Sanliel, breaking the silence, \u201ccall me nuts, but throughout this year, I thought I felt eyes from another world popping in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, you\u2019re not insane,\u201d replied Ssylphiel. \u201cI allowed a chronicler from another world to see glimpses of ours and write stories about them. They\u2019re watching and writing now so the rest of their world can see us. Nothing too raunchy, you understand, but giving them options of if and when they get\u2026isekai\u2019d here, I believe is their term for it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Isekai\u2019d?\u201d asked Beth. \u201cThat\u2019s a word from my home that means another world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA lot of our languages are similar to that world\u2019s,\u201d answered Ssylphiel. \u201cWhat say we give them a ring?\u201d Ssylphiel snapped her fingers and the girls suddenly became aware of us watching them. \u201cHello, everyone!\u201d Ssylphiel said to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWow, that\u2019s quite a lot of people!\u201d remarked Nora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have to say, we\u2019re glad you could see those glimpses of our world!\u201d said Shannon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMaybe you\u2019ll find more glimpses of us later, who knows?\u201d chuckled Beth as she flicked her tail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m sure you saw the good and the bad decisions we all made,\u201d remarked Sanliel, \u201cbut one DOES need to see all sides of our world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for making this year the Year of Ssylphiel,\u201d said Ssylphiel. \u201cWe hope to see you either in person or watching us soon!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
