Goku and Frieza were still fighting as the Doctor worked to free Whis. \u201cDoctor, what should we do?\u201d asked William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFind Frieza\u2019s quarters, for one thing,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cHe must have had some back up plan in place to find the Dragon Balls should Bulma prove to be too difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet me see where they are,\u201d said Rassilon as she checked the computers. She got a map of the ship and found them! \u201cDeck A, Corridor 1! Biggest doors under the bridge!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGot it!\u201d called Amy. She and William were about to head out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot you, William!\u201d called the Doctor. \u201cI need you to monitor Whis and Beerus\u2019 life signs!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn case of medical emergencies, I get it,\u201d replied William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBulma, you\u2019d better get Amy there,\u201d suggested Rassilon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll keep you safe,\u201d Amy promised Bulma as she summoned her hammer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRight!\u201d agreed Bulma. The two women then dashed out of the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRassilon, can you puzzle out how Frieza\u2019s men wired Whis up and see if the reverse order can safely release him?\u201d asked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI already have it pulled up,\u201d replied Rassilon. \u201cHere\u2019s what to do\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amy and Bulma arrived on the proper deck and found the corridor. The doors to Frieza\u2019s quarters were guarded. \u201cTwo of them,\u201d said Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow what?\u201d asked Bulma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWatch.\u201d Amy approached the two guards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHold it right there!\u201d said one of the guards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSorry about this, boys,\u201d replied Amy, dialing up her cuteness. \u201cBut could you two help me?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026H-Help you?\u201d asked the other guard. \u201cIn what way?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, you see, I\u2019m an escaped prisoner.\u201d Amy then leapt up and slammed her hammer into one of the guard\u2019s heads, knocking him into his partner and knocking the two unconscious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026What was\u2026?\u201d asked Bulma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSomething I picked up from the Doctor,\u201d replied Amy. \u201cCome on!\u201d She grabbed a keycard from one of the guards and used it to open the door. The room was as you\u2019d expect from a tyrant running a galactic empire. And there, in the room, were the seven Dragon Balls!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Hey, maybe we should use the wishes before Frieza does!\u201d suggested Bulma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow can we do that?\u201d asked Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been finding the Dragon Balls since I first met Goku when he was a kid. I know how to do this!\u201d Bulma approached the Dragon Balls, stopping only when she was 2 meters away from them. She then spoke in a loud, clear voice. \u201cRise, Shenron, and grant my wishes!\u201d she announced. The sky outside became dark as the Dragon Balls glowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Goku and Frieza had taken their fight outside, continuing to shake the earth as they scored a blow on their opponent. Somehow, Frieza was keeping up with Goku\u2019s Ultra Instinct. \u201cWhat\u2019s the matter, Goku?!\u201d cackled Frieza. \u201cSurprised that I can keep up? I had to learn how to counter Ultra Instinct somewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo this new form\u2019s supposed to be Ultra Instinct Frieza?\u201d asked Goku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSomething along those lines. But for simplicity\u2019s sake, let\u2019s just call it Ultra Frieza. And this time, I\u2019m positive I have a better handle on it than when I first fought you as Golden Frieza.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can tell. You\u2019re not burning through nearly as much energy as quickly. You must have trained that up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI still hold you responsible for making me put in the effort, Goku. The Supreme Being isn\u2019t supposed to train.\u201d Goku smirked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy not? There\u2019s bound to be someone higher than the Supreme Being, maybe someone stronger than Zeno\u2019s out there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd that person stronger than the Omni-king will be-!\u201d Frieza stopped the instant the sky turned dark. \u201c\u2026It was the middle of a sunny after\u2026THE DRAGON BALLS!\u201d Frieza rocketed towards the ship!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAlready?!\u201d yelped Goku. \u201cBut who?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Back in Frieza\u2019s quarters, a stream of light burst through the hull, tearing a giant hole in it. The light then coalesced into a ninety-meter-long Chinese dragon with green scales, deer antlers, flowing whiskers on either side of his nose, and glowing red eyes! Amy goggled in awe at what she saw. \u201c\u2026Wow!\u201d she whispered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am Shenron, the Eternal Dragon!\u201d boomed the dragon. \u201cSpeak your wishes three and I shall grant them!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey, Shenron, it\u2019s Bulma!\u201d called Bulma. \u201cI\u2019m actually gonna have to spend two wishes at once here because I wish for you to restore King Kai to life as well as\u2026well, Goku says there\u2019s a monkey and a talking cricket with him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBubbles the monkey and Gregory the Cricket, yes,\u201d replied Shenron. \u201cFinally getting King Kai off Goku\u2019s back, hm? Very well, your greater wish is granted!\u201d Shenron\u2019s eyes glowed brighter, then dimmed to their usual brightness. \u201cKing Kai, Bubbles, and Gregory are now fully back to life. You have one wish left.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThanks, Shenron!\u201d called Bulma. \u201cAmy, the last wish is yours.\u201d Amy nervously looked up at the wishing dragon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cM-Mighty Shenron,\u201d she gulped, \u201cI\u2019m on a quest to find the segments of the Key to Time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAh, so that is why the Doctor retrieved Rassilon,\u201d boomed Shenron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Y-You know about-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShenron knows almost everything,\u201d explained Bulma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cW-Well, Lord Shenron,\u201d continued Amy, \u201cthe tracer goes nuts every time it points at Whis, but the Doctor said that a segment of the Key to Time can even be a living being. I only wish to know if Whis himself is the segment or if it\u2019s an item on his immediate person.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA simple wish, and a good first wish for you, Miss Rose. The segment of the Key to Time that you seek in this spatio-temporal point is in the shape of the collar of Whis\u2019 robes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe collar? That makes me feel better! Thank you, Shenron!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith your wishes fulfilled, I shall take my leave!\u201d Shenron then glowed as the Dragon Balls rose through the hole in the ship. Shenron then vanished and the Dragon Balls flew off in seven different directions\u2026right as Frieza arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNO!\u201d he shouted. \u201cWhy you females! You\u2019ll regret denying your lord and master!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSaucer-ship, superiority complex,\u201d snarked Amy. \u201cYou sure you\u2019re not a Dalek?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere is ONE similarity I\u2019ll gladly indulge in, our proclivity for genocide!\u201d Frieza then pointed into the air and created an energy sphere that expanded!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh no! That\u2019s Frieza\u2019s death ball!\u201d gulped Bulma. \u201cI heard that\u2019s how he destroyed Goku\u2019s birth world of Vegeta!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt won\u2019t, I can assure you,\u201d came a voice. Bulma and Amy turned to see the Doctor, Rassilon, and William arriving with Whis and a fully-recovered Beerus. Frieza gulped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLord Beerus! You\u2019re all right!\u201d cheered Bulma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo thanks to that imp, Frieza!\u201d snarled Beerus. \u201cI take it you\u2019re responsible for frustrating his goals?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMe and Amy both!\u201d replied Bulma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI suppose I should thank you, but I have something else on my mind. For instance, Frieza, how did you make yourself immune to Hakai?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWouldn\u2019t you like to know?!\u201d snarled Frieza. \u201cSince you\u2019ve proven to be rather passe about your duties and Zeno seems to be too interested in amusements, I thought it best to start on this path!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the dumbest decision you\u2019ve ever made, you entitled little bugger! You\u2019ve proved yourself much more difficult to use Hakai on than the Daleks or Cybermen! So I\u2019m going to have to settle for you and your ship and crew to be transported to the other side of the universe! Whis!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAt once, Lord Beerus,\u201d replied Whis. He tapped the end of his staff to the ground. A bright flash of light filled the air\u2026and when everyone could see, all that was there was the cliff overlooking the ocean, Goku returning to his friends, and the TARDIS and its team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Well, a literal Deus Ex Machina on the orders of Beerus, of all people,\u201d muttered Rassilon as she dusted herself off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCome on, at the end of it, Rassilon,\u201d argued Whis, \u201cit was either him or that Skuruvian.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Skuruvian, I could somewhat understand,\u201d replied Rassilon, \u201cbut why the lazy oaf of a hairless cat?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou know, I can hear you, Rassilon!\u201d hissed Beerus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI hope you can!\u201d retorted Rassilon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOkay!\u201d interrupted the Doctor. \u201cI think we all need to cool off a bit.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh! Rassilon! Could I have the tracer?\u201d asked Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou know what the segment is?\u201d asked Rassilon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSure do! Shenron told me and Bulma!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Very well,\u201d said Rassilon. She handed the tracer to Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSorry in advance, Whis,\u201d said Amy. She then touched the tracer to Whis\u2019 collar. It then turned into its original form!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey, wait a minute!\u201d protested Beerus. \u201cWhat are you doing, gathering the Key to Time?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA mission I was thrust into by the Black Guardian,\u201d explained Rassilon. \u201cHe said that the universe\u2019s balance was dipping too close to order, so it needed to be restored.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Are you sure it was the Black Guardian?\u201d asked Beerus. \u201cOr have you finally become color-blind, Oh Founder of the Time Lords?\u201d Rassilon looked ready to punch Beerus for that, but the Doctor held her back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI have to say, this adventure was a whirlwind,\u201d remarked William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo was you stealing from my wardrobe!\u201d protested Whis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t worry, Whis,\u201d assured the Doctor. \u201cIt\u2019ll come back to you when we\u2019re done.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI suppose there\u2019s that consolation,\u201d sighed Whis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey, Lord Beerus,\u201d called Goku, \u201cyou think I could train on your planet for a bit? I need to relax somehow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd what, pray tell, do you have to offer this time? Lettuce? Carrots?\u201d asked Beerus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was thinking pork roast with pineapple.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll get it ready,\u201d offered Bulma. \u201cDoctor, are you guys-?\u201d They then heard the TARDIS taking off! The Doctor and her friends had dashed inside the craft! \u201c\u2026How did four people-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDimensional transcendentalism, Lady Bulma,\u201d replied Whis. \u201cThe Time Lords were famous for making things that were bigger on the inside.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGood thing we\u2019re getting away from someone that can use Hakai,\u201d muttered the Doctor. \u201cThe old girl gets nervous around such people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAny TARDIS would, they can\u2019t survive such a technique,\u201d remarked Rassilon. She fanned herself with her hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026You okay?\u201d asked William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m fine, William,\u201d assured Rassilon. \u201cJust a bit exhausted.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll get us to our next destination,\u201d offered the Doctor. \u201cYou all get some rest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOoh, hello bed!\u201d sighed Amy. Everyone headed to their rooms. As she got into the privacy of her room, Rassilon checked to make sure no one was listening outside, then sat on the bed. She then looked at her hand\u2026and golden light started pouring out of it. Rassilon shut her eyes tight, then the glow died down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
