The Doctor and the Ridewatch Riders intercepted Decade before he went deeper into the sublevels of Tokyo Tower in 2013. \u201cDecade, please, listen to me!\u201d urged the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGet out of my way!\u201d shouted Decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDecade, it\u2019s not going to turn out the way you think it is!\u201d urged Woz. Decade wasn\u2019t listening. He slashed again with his Ride-booker still in sword mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI can\u2019t believe I\u2019m doing this against an elder Kamen Rider!\u201d groaned Zi-O. He then summoned a strange device that looked somewhat gun-like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cZikan Girade!\u201d said a voice. Zi-O then pulled something on the device forward so it looked like a sword with a clock hand style blade. \u201cKEN!\u201d Zi-O slashed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo! Sougo! Don\u2019t escalate this!\u201d protested the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd Sougo\u2019s brought his weapon out,\u201d grumbled Rassilon as everyone saw the goings-on outside from the scanner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHoo boy, we sure he ain\u2019t American?\u201d joked William. He then spotted something. \u201cHey, what\u2019s that?\u201d he asked. He pointed to a phial of a liquid on the floor. Rassilon picked it up and had the TARDIS scan it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026It\u2019s anti-plastic!\u201d she said. \u201cMade by one of Tsukasa\u2019s allies! Hang on, I think I have a theory.\u201d She ran the figures through the TARDIS computers. Her eyes goggled when she saw the readings. \u201c\u2026It was an insurance policy!\u201d she whispered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat do you mean?\u201d asked Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTsukasa was going to use it on the Nestene Consciousness in this time,\u201d explained Rassilon. \u201cBut the Doctor and Tsukasa of this time will already use theirs. AHA!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRassilon?\u201d asked William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWilliam, how many tests does a vaccine have to go through?\u201d asked Rassilon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMillions of-.\u201d William\u2019s eyes popped open. \u201c\u2026The anti-plastic of this time would have failed somehow?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s the chronons of 2025! They can\u2019t be used against the native chronons of 2013!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026But Decade doesn\u2019t know that!\u201d realized Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI know how to deescalate the situation!\u201d said William. He then snatched the anti-plastic from Rassilon and left the TARDIS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWILLIAM! GET BACK IN HERE!\u201d protested Rassilon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Doctor was still trying to get the Riders to stop fighting. \u201cEveryone, please!\u201d she pleaded. \u201cThere\u2019s no reason to-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSTOOOOOOOOOPPP!!\u201d called William\u2019s voice. Everyone turned to see William holding the anti-plastic phial above his head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWilliam, get back in the TARDIS!\u201d protested the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTsukasa, tell me, does this look familiar?!\u201d asked William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy anti-plastic?!\u201d he yelped. \u201cHow did you-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou dropped it in the console room!\u201d replied William. \u201cInteresting that you\u2019d use 2025 anti-plastic on a 2013 Nestene Consciousness! Now you listen to the Doctor or I smash it here and now!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re going to regret that threat!\u201d snarled Decade as he got ready to slash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNO! Decade, wait! Just wait a minute, please!\u201d begged the Doctor. \u201cLet William smash it to the ground!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat?! Why?!\u201d demanded Decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBecause that\u2019s how there were remnants of the Nestene that created the Autons of 2025! That\u2019s how the paradox started! We brought back a weapon that would fail! The leftover signal would reside in the chronons and wait until they aligned with 2025 again!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2026You\u2019re lying!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy on earth would I lie about that?! We\u2019re sitting on one gigantic time paradox here and you\u2019re the key!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTh\u2026The Key?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI thought it was the Ridewatches, but it\u2019s YOU, Tsukasa!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2026I can\u2019t be-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWilliam, smash the phial! Smash it to pieces!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWay ahead of you!\u201d called William as he threw the phial to the ground. That\u2019s when time went crazy! Everyone was moving in painful slow-motion!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHUUUUUURRRRRRYYYYYYY!\u201d called the Doctor. \u201cGEEETTT BAAACK IIINNN THEEE TAAARRRDDIIISSSS NOOOOOWWW!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWHHAAAAAATTT\u2019SSSSS HAAAAAPPPPEENNNNIIINNNNG?!\u201d shouted Decade as he and the Riders made for the TARDIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIIIITTT\u2019SSS THEEEE PAAAARRRRAAADOOOOXXXX!\u201d guessed Geiz. \u201cIIIITTTT\u2019SSSS REEEESOOOLLLVVVINNNGGG IIITTTSSSEEELLLFFFF!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYEEEEESSSSS!\u201d confirmed the Doctor. \u201cMMMUUUSSSTTTT GEEEEETTTT TOOOO THEEEE TAAAARRRRDDIIIISSSSSS!!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCome on, guys! Come on!\u201d begged Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf they stay out there any longer-!\u201d shuddered Rassilon. Thankfully, she didn\u2019t need to find out. Everyone made it inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRight! Back to this location in 2025!\u201d declared the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat about the Another Riders?!\u201d argued Decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey were never there, hopefully,\u201d replied the Doctor. She got the TARDIS to take off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over in 2013, a man with curly blonde hair and a coat made up of a patchwork of fabrics was making the final adjustments to a machine, dodging tentacles from a tank all the while. \u201cYou won\u2019t find me so easy to ensnare this time!\u201d taunted the man, the Sixth Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, come on!\u201d called the Decade of 2013. He then inserted a card into his white Decadriver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFinal Attack Ride: De-De-Decade!\u201d it called. Three rings of cards appeared and Decade sailed through them, his foot outstretched and striking the Auton Copy of himself. It exploded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDo you mind not Rider-kicking here!\u201d protested the Sixth Doctor. He then switched the machine on. \u201cOUT!\u201d The tentacles then thrashed in pain!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Right at the entrance to Tokyo Tower, Evelyn Smythe was looking anxiously at the door, not sure if she liked the rumbling. She breathed a sigh of relief when the Doctor and Decade arrived. \u201cOh, thank goodness you\u2019re alright, Doctor!\u201d she sighed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOnly just,\u201d replied the Sixth Doctor, rubbing the cat lapel pin in relief. \u201cBut that should do it. The Auton menace of Japan is over!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s a relief,\u201d replied Evelyn, \u201cbecause, with all the young men making flying kicks and turning into martial arts bug people, I think you could do with a bit of a sit-down!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over in 2025, the TARDIS arrived at the base of Tokyo Tower. No one left the TARDIS just yet. \u201cDoctor-!\u201d hissed the present-day Tsukasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSh!\u201d replied the Doctor. The console beeped at a certain frequency, then the frequency lowered and lowered until\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Safe to talk?\u201d asked Keito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTemporal Paradox: resolved,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cNo bumps in the time track and no killer window dummies. The signal is nonexistent. \u2026Erm, yes, everyone, safe to talk.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Could I get some sort of explanation or will you be high-handed and Time Lordish like you were with that ugly coat?!\u201d hissed Tsukasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTry me,\u201d said the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhere are the Autons?!\u201d asked Tsukasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, they died before they find Geiz and Woz and duplicate them,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cYou see, the prolonged fight between us is what prompts the Autons to duplicate them, not just being plucked off the streets like that. That\u2019s just what starts the paradox.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2026see,\u201d said Tsukasa. \u201cAnd\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Yes?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWilliam, what did you intend to do with the anti-plastic?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, smashing it to the ground WAS my intention,\u201d replied William. \u201cRassilon gave me the idea.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou see, if the anti-plastic of 2025 touched the Nestene Consciousness of 2013,\u201d explained Rassilon, \u201cthe latent 2025 chronons would have waited in the remains of the Nestene Consciousness and then propagated throughout the Autons the instant 2025 began.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, in the correct version of history, the machine the Doctor rigged up was all that\u2019s necessary?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026It\u2019s\u2026not so much that there\u2019s a correct or incorrect version of history,\u201d said Rassilon. \u201cIt\u2019s more something to do with the survival of the universe. The paradox was triggered by us bringing the 2025 anti-plastic to 2013. It caused a dangerously high release of temporal energy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhich damaged an already weakened part of the space-time continuum,\u201d guessed Keito, \u201cmaking it a bad place to have a paradox, like the Doctor said.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cErm\u2026sort of,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cBut Tsukasa solved the potential problem of the Nestene already in 2013.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo\u2026it never happened?\u201d asked Sougo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Um\u2026not quite. You see, the real center of the paradox was caused by the 2025 anti-plastic coming back with us and us mistakenly using it on the sly. The anti-plastic would have failed and the Nestene Consciousness would have fractured and implanted those fragments into the chronons, thus sparking the Auton Civil War.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBut you and William forced me to realize in time that I was the one that caused the Autons of 2025 in the first place!\u201d said Tsukasa, exasperated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHope for you yet, hm?\u201d chuckled Rassilon. The Doctor then saw Amy\u2019s face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAmy? What\u2019s wrong?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Doctor, Rassilon,\u201d said Amy, \u201cnone of what we just discussed makes any sense!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Well\u2026how should I put this\u2026time paradoxes very rarely do. That\u2019s why they\u2019re paradoxes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026You really think that\u2019s clever, huh?\u201d scoffed Tsukasa. \u201cI\u2019ve had enough.\u201d He then summoned an Aurora Curtain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat have I told you about using those things in the-!\u201d The Doctor didn\u2019t get very far as Tsukasa stepped through and the Curtain vanished. \u201c\u2026Oh, never mind!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think we\u2019d better go,\u201d Sougo suggested to Keito and Woz. \u201cWe still have things to do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAgreed, Waga Mao,\u201d replied Woz. \u201cLet\u2019s go home.\u201d Woz, Sougo, and Keito then left the TARDIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Wait a minute, if the Autons aren\u2019t here, and they were after the control unit-!\u201d gulped William. Amy dashed to her room and checked something. She then sighed in relief and returned to the console room with the control unit in her hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, does the TARDIS have special time shields?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt does,\u201d replied the Doctor, sighing in relief, \u201cbut it\u2019s the control unit\u2019s original nature as a segment of the Key to Time that protected it. Speaking of which\u2026\u201d she took the tracer and touched the control unit with it. It then turned into its real shape of the third segment. \u201cThere we go! Halfway there! Now, let\u2019s see where the next one is!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the Doctor worked on the console, Rassilon returned to her room. Her hand was glowing again. She concentrated hard, but the glow was taking longer to go away. It finally faded. \u201c\u2026I can\u2019t waste this body!\u201d she begged herself. \u201cI need more time!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cErm, Rassilon?\u201d asked Amy\u2019s voice. It was then that Rassilon realized she went into AMY\u2019S room with the hedgehog girl in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026You saw nothing!\u201d she hissed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe heck I didn\u2019t!\u201d retorted Amy. \u201cWhy was your hand glowing?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s not important right now!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRassilon, if there\u2019s something wrong-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAmy Rose!\u201d Amy backed up from Rassilon at that sudden bark. \u201c\u2026Amy, I\u2019d rather the Doctor not find out, otherwise she\u2019d forget the quest and focus on me. She needs to apply her bleeding hearts on the entire universe instead of one person.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026All right, but you WILL tell her one day,\u201d insisted Amy. \u201c\u2026Come on, let\u2019s get you back to your room.\u201d Amy helped Rassilon back to her room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
