\u201cWe\u2019re fine, Doctor,\u201d said Neo Queen Serenity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, how do the Cybermen know you?\u201d asked William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, trust me, the Cybermen are an enemy as dangerous as the Daleks,\u201d answered the Doctor. \u201cPerhaps even more so, given that they have no emotions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo what constitutes survival, then?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou speak as though emotions are necessary for survival,\u201d remarked the CyberMaster. \u201cThey are not.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot necessary?! They\u2019re crucial!\u201d insisted William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTell me, William,\u201d said the CyberMaster, \u201cwhen your baby sister died, did you not feel grief? Rage? Hatred for the medical field for not saving her?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026It never went away,\u201d hissed William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s enough!\u201d snarled the Doctor. \u201cHis pain is his own!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Cybermen CAN remove that pain,\u201d offered the CyberMaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019d rather die,\u201d replied William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right, we can all debate on the use of emotions until the end of time itself,\u201d interrupted the Doctor, \u201cbut I still have questions concerning your goals. How will these actions prolong your survival? The Cybermen have no interest in time travel.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs a whole, we do not,\u201d replied the Cyber-controller, \u201cbut the CyberMaster has observed paradoxes which threaten the Cyber Race.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOur time corridor technology,\u201d explained the CyberMaster, \u201cwas scavenged from the Daleks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI figured as much, since they became synonymous with that method of time travel,\u201d remarked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe upgraded the technology and have been using it for short-term missions. Once we discover the secrets of the Olympus Mons<\/em>, we shall upgrade the technology and make a fleet of time ships. And with your help, we shall learn the secrets of dimensional-transcendentalism. We shall convert whole planets into Cyber-factories with internal dimensions greater than those your TARDIS can achieve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou can\u2019t make planets bigger on the inside!\u201d protested Rassilon. \u201cIt will collapse in on itself!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTherein lies why we need the Key to Time,\u201d replied the CyberMaster. \u201cWith it, we shall stabilize our mastery over four-dimensional construction. We shall then use the Key to obtain mastery over all celestials, those life-forms worshipped as gods. The Pantheon of Discord, the Guardians of Space and Time, Grand Zeno and his followers, the Gods of Destruction, the Supreme Kais, all shall become like us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThere\u2019s something I don\u2019t understand,\u201d said the Doctor. \u201cHow did you know we were after the Key to Time in the first place?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe Matrix of Gallifrey,\u201d explained the CyberMaster, \u201crevealed to us the travels you took with the first incarnation of Romanadvoratrelundar.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRomana?!\u201d gasped the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOur security, however, was not sufficient to keep that knowledge a secret. The revelation of the Key to Time\u2019s existence was scattered across time and space.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd certain powerful parties latched onto that knowledge,\u201d said Rassilon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cCorrect. But with five of the six segments and the Core in our possession, we shall become true Time Lords and finish what Rassilon started. Doctor, you will assemble the Key within an hour.\u201d The CyberMaster turned to one of the Cybermen. \u201cTake them to an area where the Doctor can work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBelay that!\u201d ordered the Cyber-Controller. \u201cCyberMaster, we must locate the sixth segment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDo you question my authority in this operation?\u201d The Doctor noticed that. Her mind began racing as the two Cybermen Leaders spoke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe must ensure our victory,\u201d explained the Cyber-Controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd will you be held responsible for this delay?\u201d asked the CyberMaster. The Cyber-Controller seemed to hesitate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Carry out the CyberMaster\u2019s orders,\u201d he finally decided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYes, Controller,\u201d replied a Cyberman with black handles, the Cyber Leader. He took the Doctor and her group away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cVictory is inevitable,\u201d said the CyberMaster. \u201cWe shall obtain true mastery over time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Everyone was brought into Neo Queen Serenity\u2019s room. \u201cThis is bad!\u201d said Rassilon. \u201cThe Cybermen have a shot at this plan of theirs succeeding!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe have help,\u201d said Neo Queen Serenity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou\u2019re not Sailor Moon anymore!\u201d protested Rassilon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNo, but my daughter took up the mantle,\u201d soothed Neo Queen Serenity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd the Cybermen aren\u2019t as cohesive as before,\u201d remarked William.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI saw that too,\u201d said Amy. \u201cIt looked like their leaders are bickering about whether or not they can use the five segments alone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThey can\u2019t,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cThe Key to Time only obeys commands when all six segments are gathered. You CAN make a sixth segment, but that\u2019s a temporary measure and the false segment will decay when assembled with the remaining five. \u2026But it\u2019s the advances made by the Martians in time travel that interest me. Neo Queen Serenity, how is the Olympus Mons<\/em> powered?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2026I don\u2019t really know,\u201d replied Neo Queen Serenity. \u201cI\u2019m not a scientist by any stretch of the imagination. \u2026But I CAN pull up the schematics.\u201d She switched a computer on and pulled up normally restricted information about the Olympus Mons<\/em>. \u201cThere we go.\u201d The Doctor and Rassilon, being Time Lords, examined the plans. Their eyes widened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Harmonics energy!\u201d breathed Rassilon. \u201cThey\u2019ve made their own Eye of Harmony!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDoctor?\u201d asked William. \u201cRassilon?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cRassilon, you give that lecture,\u201d offered the Doctor. \u201cI need to work out how to use this information against the Cybermen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cGot it.\u201d Rassilon turned to everyone. \u201cIn the early days of our time experiments, I was working with someone called Omega. He had created a remote stellar manipulator that, nowadays, is called the Hand of Omega.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cStellar? As in stars?\u201d asked Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cExactly,\u201d confirmed Rassilon as she reminisced. \u201cTogether, we both used the Hand of Omega to engineer a star, then we suspended time around that star when it exploded and almost became a black hole. Through that, we harnessed the potential energy of a collapse that would never occur! That became the Eye of Harmony, the sacred heart and power supply of the Time Lords! And you lot made your own! Or will, in William\u2019s case. Amy, your planet, Mobius, it\u2019s time travel capable, yes?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWell, yes, if you use the Time Stones,\u201d said Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAnd have you ever wondered how they came into being?\u201d Amy goggled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou mean, they\u2019re-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMan-made crystals that harness the potential energy of an exploding star before it collapses into a black hole!\u201d confirmed Rassilon. \u201cMiniature Eyes of Harmony!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cBut, there\u2019s a problem of how to safely use that energy,\u201d said the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat\u2019s right,\u201d said Rassilon. \u201cThe problem is solved by your time, Amy, but not yet in this time zone. Neo Queen Serenity, I can\u2019t exactly tell you how Omega did it, but I can tell you all the end result to shoot for. You need to figure out a way of shifting your Eye of Harmony fractionally into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhy, Rassilon?\u201d asked Neo Queen Serenity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOtherwise, you\u2019d get all the power in one gulp,\u201d interjected the Doctor, \u201crather than a controllable osmotic stream. That function was built into the Eye itself by Omega. And it seems the scientists at the Deimos Temporal Research Station drew the same conclusions you and Omega did, Rassilon. They knew the power itself was unstable without it being shifted fractionally into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI think I just developed a theory on how the Cybermen caused the Deimos Temporal Disaster,\u201d shuddered Rassilon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI think I\u2019m about to prove your theory right,\u201d remarked the Doctor. \u201cAnd display how you\u2019re right in the process.\u201d She pulled up the data and showed it to Rassilon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026They sabotaged the data needed to shift the Eye,\u201d said Rassilon. \u201cThe Eye shifted both forwards and backwards in time. Result: temporal explosion that sent the bodies back in time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOh no!\u201d shuddered Neo Queen Serenity. She didn\u2019t fully understand the temporal mechanics, but she knew enough to know it was bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSo we know the guilty party,\u201d said the Doctor, \u201cwe just need to do something about that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cDo you think the Cybermen are immune to Sailor Guardian power?\u201d asked Neo Queen Serenity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026You\u2019re not Sailor Moon anymore,\u201d remarked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNo, but my daughter is.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201c\u2026Chibiusa might help, assuming her team\u2019s here.\u201d At that, Neo Queen Serenity smiled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHer entire team is here and so are my old friends and their apprentices, Doctor.\u201d The Doctor grinned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThen the Cybermen better hope they have Sailor Mondas with them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Usagi II and a raven haired woman her age peeked around a corridor. Four other women were forced into rooms that were guarded by Cybermen. \u201c\u2026Right, we only have one shot,\u201d said Usagi II. \u201cHotaru, you ready?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cLet\u2019s do it!\u201d replied Hotaru Tomoe, Princess of Saturn. She and Usagi II then pulled out wands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cNEO MOON POWER, MAKE UP!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSATURN POWER, MAKE UP!\u201d The Cybermen heard the transformation announcements and turned, only to be blinded by the light of the transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cAlert! Excessive heat! Retreat!\u201d said a Cyberman. As the Cybermen backed away, leotards appeared on Usagi II and Hotaru\u2019s bodies, then pleated mini-skirts, then sailor collars, then bow on the backs of their waists, then on their chests where the collars formed a point, then heeled shoes, then arm length gloves, then golden circlets on their heads. The two girls then posed once their transformations were complete. Usagi II, now in her pink superhero identity as Neo Sailor Moon, and Hotaru, now as the purple Sailor Saturn, then posed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTransformation complete,\u201d said the other Cyberman. \u201cThreat level identified!
