The Sontarans seized control of the Chimeran Hammer<\/em> and aligned it with the fleet. The Doctor, her team, Dr. Psychobos, and Vilgax were brought to the Command Ship as prisoners. They were all brought to the command deck. \u201cThe Hand is charging, General,\u201d reported a Sontaran. \u201cIt will be ready for use in two hours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVery good, Commander,\u201d replied Skrem. \u201cThis will be the last disgraceful day of the 10th<\/sup> Sontaran Fleet\u2019s existence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs long as we have time,\u201d remarked the Doctor, \u201cI confess I\u2019m curious.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhen aren\u2019t you?\u201d scoffed Skrem. \u201cWhat troubles you now, Doctor?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhy have us here? We\u2019re obviously not going to remember it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYour fellow prisoners, no. But you, Doctor? It will live on in the back of your mind, even when you regenerate into new forms!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen why don\u2019t you tell me how this whole operation intends to work once the Hand reaches full charge? I mean, we\u2019re all prisoners here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have a better idea, Doctor, than blabbing about our plans and giving you a chance to undo it all. While we wait for the Hand to reach full charge, why don\u2019t we FIGHT!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Fight?!\u201d repeated the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat do you say, my warriors?!\u201d Skrem called to his men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFight! Fight! Fight! Fight!\u201d chanted the Sontarans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ll take up that challenge!\u201d called Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHold on!\u201d roared Vilgax. \u201cThey were MY allies! I\u2019LL be the one to kill Skrem!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSuch ardor!\u201d cackled Skrem. \u201cNew plan, Doctor! I\u2019ll fight your companion! Of course, I\u2019ll have an ally with me! Commander Velt!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, sir!\u201d replied the Sontaran Commander. \u201cWill I be facing Vilgax or the pink thing?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHm, good point,\u201d remarked Skrem. \u201cWho will be taking on the pink thing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe pink thing has a name, you know!\u201d snapped Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAmy, I sure hope you know what you\u2019re doing!\u201d hissed the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDoctor,\u201d Amy whispered so the Sontarans couldn\u2019t hear, \u201cthis might be our only shot at stopping them! While they\u2019re distracted-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know what the goal is, Amy, but fighting a Sontaran might prove fatal!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThen you and Ben better hurry and figure this out!\u201d Amy wouldn\u2019t be dissuaded, much to the Doctor\u2019s chagrin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Stay alive, will you?\u201d muttered the Time Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNaturally,\u201d assured Amy. She and Vilgax then approached Skrem and Velt. \u201cHow are we doing this?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith gravity clubs!\u201d replied Skrem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou Sontarans use those things in duels?\u201d grunted Vilgax. He turned to Amy. \u201cGravity clubs have a relative weight of ten pounds, but the weight doubles every few swings until its wielder cannot lift their club to defend themselves or their skull is split open by their opponent\u2019s club.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Charming,\u201d muttered Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBring forth the clubs!\u201d ordered Skrem. A Sontaran carrying a case came forth. He opened the case to reveal four metal clubs. Skrem, Velt, Amy, and Vilgax took up their clubs. \u201cI shall take the first swing!\u201d cackled Skrem. He swung his club hard, but Amy and Vilgax leapt out of the way. \u201cVelt, let\u2019s see your swing!\u201d said Skrem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, Sir!\u201d replied Velt. He swung his club, but Amy and Vilgax dodged again. \u201cA gymnast, hm?\u201d chuckled Velt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou two will not be so agile after a few rounds!\u201d cackled Skrem. \u201cYour turn!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYour mistake!\u201d snarled Vilgax. He swung his club and made a dent in the floor once his Sontaran opponents dodged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

While Amy and Vilgax were fighting their Sontaran opponents, the Doctor snuck away with Ben and Rook following. \u201cWhy\u2019d you need us?\u201d asked Ben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBecause I have a theory,\u201d remarked the Doctor. \u201cYou being discovered on Vilgax\u2019s ship seemed to be like the lot of you were going through the motions. And Skrem\u2019s talk of the entire 10th<\/sup> Sontaran Fleet being desperate also looked like they said it so many times. On top of that, my TARDIS detected unusual chronon activity before Professor Paradox grabbed it and forcibly landed us in front of Rook\u2019s squadron. \u2026What if the Hand of Eon put everyone into a time loop to defend itself?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA time loop? How would we know?\u201d asked Rook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cClockwork might check,\u201d said Ben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Ben, I have a better idea. Scan me,\u201d directed the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHuh?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI know what I said, but I need another Time Lord\u2019s help. Now scan me!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Well, if you insist,\u201d said Ben. He aimed the Omnitrix at the Doctor and a scanner light surrounded the Doctor briefly. It vanished after a few seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNew alien DNA now available,\u201d reported the Omnitrix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll right, let\u2019s test this out.\u201d Ben selected the new alien hologram, slid the Omnitrix\u2019s cover back, then pressed down on the core. The watch then sunk into his arm\u2026then the Omnitrix symbol appeared on his chest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026I think you accidentally unlocked the human form,\u201d remarked Rook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo, no, hang on,\u201d said Ben. \u201cThere\u2019s two hearts in here. \u2026And telepathic powers. \u2026And temporal sensitivity. I\u2019m a Time Lord like the Doctor here. \u2026And there\u2019s definitely temporal energy looping back on itself, but it\u2019s fading around Rook and the rest of us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo the Hand of Eon DID put you all into a time loop,\u201d remarked the Doctor. \u201cWell, we\u2019ll have to minimize the time loop\u2019s field around the Hand so it only loops on itself and not everyone else around them. I did a similar trick with Axos and the Vardans.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s why you needed another Time Lord\u2019s help,\u201d realized Ben, \u201cto double-check your work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very delicate work. Mind if I walk you through it? Telepathically? It\u2019s a bit involved and we\u2019re pressed for time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll right. Contact.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cContact.\u201d The two closed their eyes and workshopped the plan telepathically. They then opened their eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll right,\u201d said Ben, \u201clet\u2019s get to it. It\u2019s most likely down this corridor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Back on the command deck, the duel still went on. Amy and Vilgax were moderating their swings a lot better than their Sontaran opponents. \u201cStop\u2026prancing about, Pink Thing!\u201d panted Skrem. His and Velt\u2019s clubs were now at 320 pounds, heavy for a Sontaran, but not impossible to lift. Amy\u2019s and Vilgax\u2019s were only at 80 pounds, rather light for Amy, considering how heavy her hammer is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026How is this possible?\u201d asked Vilgax. \u201cI know this is my first time dueling Skrem, yet I feel as though I fought him before and the fight is different somehow!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMight I offer my two cents?\u201d asked a voice. Amy dodged a blow from Velt and looked behind her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cProfessor Paradox!\u201d she yelped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGood afternoon, Miss Rose,\u201d greeted Professor Paradox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat are you doing here, Time Walker?!\u201d demanded Vilgax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, clearing things up, as usual,\u201d replied Professor Paradox. \u201cNow, let\u2019s see, the Doctor will most likely be theorizing, correctly, I may add, why I brought her TARDIS into this time loop.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTime loop? Ridiculous!\u201d scoffed Skrem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really simple,\u201d the Doctor said to Rook as she and Ben worked around an armored hand in purple, \u201cthe Hand of Eon is the literal hand of a temporally-powerful madman.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd any \u2018sane\u2019 madman,\u201d said Ben, \u201cwould take steps to protect themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo it created a time loop to protect itself?\u201d asked Rook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSpecifically to prevent anyone other than its owner to use it,\u201d summarized the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo anyone that ISN\u2019T Eon,\u201d realized Gwen, \u201cwould be imprisoned until Eon came back for it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPrecisely, Gwendolyn,\u201d confirmed Professor Paradox. \u201cAnd Vilgax and his poorly-chosen allies served as the perfect prisoners. \u2026Although, you lot getting involved upset my calculations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cObviously, since you lot are his friends,\u201d continued the Doctor, \u201che needed to get you out. But the time loop was causing too much temporal turbulence for him to safely enter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut he knew what the power source for the time loop was,\u201d Ben summarized, \u201cso he needed something with enough strength to break into the loop and stop it from the inside.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCue him hijacking my TARDIS without asking,\u201d grumbled the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, the outer plasmic shell could break through it, but it would be nice to have a shell with shields, like a TARDIS.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cStill, without asking!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Ben, how are you able to keep up with the Doctor?!\u201d protested Rook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know, how do I know what gas I use when I\u2019m Gutrot?\u201d asked Ben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cLies! All lies!\u201d snarled Skrem as Paradox finished his explanation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd why would I lie about the time loop?\u201d asked Paradox. \u201cOr about Eon? He\u2019s too much of a paranoid genius to leave things to chance. But, no fear, the time loop will be broken-,\u201d a wave of energy then bowled everyone over, causing a cascading effect directly to where the Hand of Eon was held! \u201c\u2026Right about now!\u201d chuckled Paradox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt won\u2019t matter!\u201d snarled Skrem. \u201cMy club will flatten you all!\u201d He and Velt raised their clubs, straining under the weight!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c640 pounds,\u201d chuckled Vilgax darkly. \u201cThat\u2019s too much for a Sontaran.\u201d That was when the two Sontarans fell to the floor in convulsions. \u201cThankfully, my 80 pound club is enough to paint the floor in your blood and brains!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNO!\u201d shouted Amy. She whacked Vilgax in the ankle, toppling him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou DARE!\u201d roared Vilgax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere\u2019s no point! The duel is over!\u201d insisted Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMiss Rose is quite right,\u201d remarked Professor Paradox. \u201cYou\u2019re about to have more immediate problems to deal with.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBOOSTERS!\u201d called a Sontaran. \u201cREVITALIZERS! NOW!\u201d A Sontaran Trooper then arrived with a medical kit and tended to his fallen commanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAmy\u2026Rose\u2026!\u201d gasped Skrem. \u201cYou\u2026did this! \u2026I shall\u2026form\u2026a phalanx\u2026of engineers\u2026tasked solely with designing\u2026new and exotic\u2026ways to torture you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey\u2019ll have to have time machines for that,\u201d remarked Amy. \u201cOr standing orders.\u201d That was when alarms rang throughout the ship!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe air attack warning!\u201d called a Sontaran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAir attack?\u201d asked Vilgax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMr. Levin DID ask for a heavily armed Plumber fleet to assist during the time loop,\u201d replied Professor Paradox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter getting caught in the crossfire of Sontarans and Rutans,\u201d remarked Kevin, \u201cI didn\u2019t wanna take any chances.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe better get the others and get out of here!\u201d called Gwen. Her friends agreed and followed her. Vilgax, meanwhile, snarled as he decided to return to his ship and punch an escape hole. Thanks to Sontaran bungling, there was no way the Chimeran Hammer<\/em> could handle a battle between the Plumbers and the Sontarans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Gwen and her group ran through the corridors, dodging Sontarans all the way. They then bumped into the Doctor and her group. \u201cAmy!\u201d said the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDoctor, you\u2019re all right!\u201d said Amy. She then spotted someone\u2026that looked like Gwen in Ben\u2019s clothes. \u201c\u2026Did\u2026Did Ben add your DNA to his watch?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cShe was okay with it,\u201d replied the Gwen Clone. \u201cI\u2019m thinking of calling this form Time Walker.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMuch as I appreciate the discovery of a Time Lord\u2019s abilities,\u201d said Professor Paradox, \u201cwe\u2019re rather pressed for time. Everyone, gather around!\u201d Everyone gathered and Professor Paradox opened his Chrononavigator. They all vanished as the Plumber fleet arrived to deal with the Sontarans and Vilgax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

They had returned to Plumber HQ, right in front of the TARDIS. Rook checked with the Plumber fleet. \u201c\u2026Skrem and his men have been arrested,\u201d he reported. \u201cVilgax had returned to his ship and escaped. Dr. Psychobos fled in a Sontaran Scout Sphere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOof, arrested!\u201d muttered the Doctor. \u201cThat will chafe a Sontaran. There\u2019s no chance of him or the fleet regaining their honor.\u201d She was then interrupted by a beeping noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSorry, that\u2019s me,\u201d said Time Walker as the Omnitrix symbol flashed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAh, a cool-down period?\u201d guessed the Doctor. Time Walker forcibly returned to being Ben Tennyson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYeah, sometimes it happens at the worst time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, I\u2019m sure you have a lot to do,\u201d said the Doctor. \u201cIn the meantime\u2026\u201d she then swiped the Chrononavigator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI beg your pardon!\u201d protested Professor Paradox as the Doctor fiddled with the Chrononavigator. \u201cThat\u2019s delicate, Doctor!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI can\u2019t have you,\u201d replied the Doctor, \u201cbarging into my TARDIS like that. Next time you need my help, you call.\u201d She finished her work on it and handed it back. \u201cSpeaking of TARDIS, let\u2019s get going, Amy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGoodbye, everyone!\u201d called Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, Doctor,\u201d called Rook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYes, Rook Blonko?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhile Gallifrey as a whole is still banned from travelling to Revonnah, you, specifically, are no longer banned.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAre you sure you can make that decision?\u201d asked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI did not make that decision,\u201d replied Rook. \u201cMy planet did.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026I\u2019ll ask how later. For now, goodbye!\u201d The Doctor and Amy entered the TARDIS and took off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
