\u201cThey come from Skaro, a planet a few galaxies over,\u201d said the Doctor. \u201c\u2026I really shouldn\u2019t have let Amy and her group go down there. Rosalina, we need to find them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis way,\u201d directed Rosalina. \u201cThe Launch Star is still aimed at Sarasaland.\u201d The group entered the Launch Star and spun. The group was launched towards Sarasaland as Amy\u2019s group was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amy groaned as she woke up in her cell. Her leg was full of pins and needles. She tested whether or not she could stand on it and slowly walked around the cell. \u201cOkay\u2026now where\u2026?\u201d Memories flooded back. A silver Dalek paralyzed her, her friends brought her into the ziggurat, then they were teleported\u2026where?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHas your mobility been restored?\u201d asked the Silver Dalek as it approached her cell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo thanks to you!\u201d snapped Amy. \u201cWhat do you need me alive for? Trying to use me as bait?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour survival is necessary for the duplication process!\u201d replied the Dalek. Amy got a better look at the Dalek. It didn\u2019t have the slats around its midsection, its fender at the base of its travel skirt was huge, it had a pincer claw instead of a plunger, and it had a dish on the back of its midsection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat kind of Dalek are you? A scout model of some kind?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy mission is infiltration and reconnaissance!\u201d replied the Dalek. \u201cYour duplication is necessary for the mission to succeed!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Doctor and her group trekked through the sands of Sarasaland. \u201cOof! Good thing I brought my hat!\u201d said Pauline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat are you talking about?\u201d asked Rosalina as she floated over the sand. \u201cThe temperature\u2019s fine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEasy for YOU to say!\u201d grumbled Mario. \u201cYou have magic going 24\/7!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, shouldn\u2019t we find cover?\u201d asked Pauline. \u201cMaybe wait until nightfall?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNightfall would be too late!\u201d retorted the Doctor. \u201cIf the Daleks are on this planet-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, surely you exagge-!\u201d Pauline was cut short when she saw Amy and Luigi passed out next to two men, one fat one in yellow, the other a skinny one in purple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWario! Waluigi!\u201d called Mario. He then spotted his brother. \u201cLUIGI!\u201d he yelped as he rushed up to Luigi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAmy! Are you all right?!\u201d asked the Doctor as she checked the poor hedgehog over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cD\u2026Doctor!\u201d gasped Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAmy, was it Daleks?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cT\u2026Too\u2026hot\u2026!\u201d panted Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHeat exhaustion!\u201d muttered the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat about Peach and Daisy?! Where are they?!\u201d asked Mario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf I had to hazard a guess, gone to Daisy\u2019s home for help,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cWe have to take them back! All four of them!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll get us there!\u201d called Rosalina as she pulled out her wand. She spun and everyone vanished in a flurry of sparkling stars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the bridge of the Dalek ship, the Gold Supreme Dalek looked over its bridge crew. One of the guards heard the door open and saw the Scout Dalek with its prisoners. \u201cHalt!\u201d barked the guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cScout 4 reporting to Dalek Supreme with alien prisoners!\u201d replied the Scout Dalek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cProceed!\u201d directed the guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMove! Move! MOVE!\u201d ordered the Scout as it used its pincer claw to shove Daisy forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSTOP PUSHING!\u201d shouted Daisy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHuman Female will remain silent!\u201d barked the Dalek Supreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re part of the Supreme Council, aren\u2019t you?\u201d asked Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCorrect!\u201d replied the Dalek Supreme. \u201cYou are the Mobian that abandoned my predecessor to Octus and his false Daleks!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo you\u2019re the new model of Goldie, huh?\u201d chuckled Amy. \u201cThe Old Gold Supreme rushed forward while its gunstick was offline!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDo not contradict your masters! The function of non-Daleks is to obey or die!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cD-D-DIE?!\u201d squeaked Luigi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy make copies of us in the first place?\u201d asked Amy. \u201cAnd why just me and Luigi?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Princesses are needed in our ally\u2019s castle!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh no, not Bowser!\u201d complained Daisy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat did you lot falsely promise him?\u201d asked Amy. All Daleks\u2026hesitated at Amy\u2019s question. \u201c\u2026Oh? \u2026Oh! OOOOOOOOOH!\u201d Amy started laughing. \u201cBowser has power over you! You shot one of his friends and he came back to life!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe positions will reverse to their proper order!\u201d barked the Dalek Supreme. \u201cThe Comet Observatory will be brought under Dalek control! Its early warning system will be shut down and all knowledge about 1-Up Mushrooms will be added to Dalek data! The Daleks will use 1-Up Mushrooms to become immortal! The Rebel Daleks will fall!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo that\u2019s why you cloned me and Amy!\u201d realized Luigi. \u201cYou knew the Doctor and Mario would rescue us!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCorrect! Your duplicates will shut down the Comet Observatory\u2019s defenses! The Daleks will take control of the Observatory! We shall sweep away all rebellion! All matter shall succumb to the power of the Daleks!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the Comet Observatory, Amy and Luigi had regained consciousness while Wario and Waluigi were lying on the bed in the bedroom. \u201cThere,\u201d said the Doctor. \u201cTheir body temperatures were about 41 degrees Celsius, but they only got hotter after the blunt force trauma to the head. They\u2019ll just need to cool down and drink the water nearby. Now then, Amy, Luigi, what happened out there?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe were walking the deserts with the Princesses,\u201d replied Amy. \u201cDaisy was telling us about a ziggurat, but then these two attacked us. I knocked them out with my hammer, but\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe didn\u2019t see Bowser\u2019s Minions,\u201d finished Luigi. \u201cThey attacked us and kidnapped the Princesses.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to check out this ziggurat,\u201d replied the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot more desert trekking!\u201d complained Pauline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll keep us cool,\u201d assured Rosalina. She waved her wand and an aura enveloped them. \u201cThere. We\u2019ll be as comfortable in the desert as we are here. \u2026Though I would recommend we still bring water.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right, but no Launch Stars,\u201d said the Doctor. \u201cI\u2019m still dizzy from when we last used it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, you\u2019re no fun,\u201d teased Rosalina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLuigi, you and Amy are all right here, right?\u201d asked Mario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMario, honestly, we\u2019re all better thanks to the Doctor,\u201d soothed Luigi. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to fuss. We\u2019re safe, even with those two.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026All right, but you call the instant you\u2019re in trouble, okay?\u201d directed Mario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will, Mario,\u201d replied Amy. \u201cNo worries.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right, let\u2019s-a go!\u201d Mario said to his team. Rosalina used her magic to teleport herself, Pauline, Mario, and the Doctor back to Sarasaland. Amy and Luigi stood outside the bedroom, then their faces went blank as they looked up as if hearing a voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026We obey,\u201d they said in a monotonous voice. They left the bedroom area and traveled up the Observatory into the Engine Room. They entered the room and spotted a Gearmo working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey! Wait a minute!\u201d called the Gearmo. \u201cNo one\u2019s allowed here without Rosalina\u2019s permission-!\u201d Amy simply twisted the Gearmo\u2019s eyes in opposite directions and shut it down. Luigi approached a computer console and keyed in a command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAccess denied,\u201d said the computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEmergency vocal override,\u201d directed Luigi. \u201cPasscode: Telescope.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cVocal override accepted,\u201d replied the computer. \u201cState sub-menu.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSensor net.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAccepted. Voice confirmation required.\u201d Amy looked up to receive her orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Voice synthesizer-\u201d her voice then changed to Rosalina\u2019s- \u201cactivated. Release blocks to sensor net control.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThank you, Rosalina,\u201d replied the computer. \u201cSensor net control: online.\u201d Amy then keyed in a command. \u201cSensor net will deactivate. Are you sure?\u201d asked the computer as it pulled up a selection screen. Amy selected \u201cyes\u201d. \u201cSensor net: deactivated.\u201d Luigi looked up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSensor net: disabled,\u201d he reported. \u201cAdvise all battle commanders that they may begin their attack run.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Dalek Communications Officer received the report. \u201cDuplicates report success!\u201d it reported. \u201cComet Observatory Sensor Net is disabled! We may begin our attack run!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
