In the Dark Lands, the domain of Bowser, a castle with a Bowser motif loomed over the fiery landscape with Koopas, Goombas, Shy Guys, and all various soldiers of the Koopa Kingdom patrolling for enemies. Inside the castle\u2019s throne room, Bowser looked out the window, surveying his kingdom. \u201c\u2026Still as awesome as ever,\u201d he purred to himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour Watchfulness!\u201d called Kamek\u2019s voice as he came into the throne room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re a bit early for your audience with me, Kamek,\u201d remarked Bowser. \u201cThere IS such a thing as being TOO early.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cApologies, my Liege,\u201d replied Kamek, \u201cbut I finished my research on these Dalek creatures!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey\u2019re the most ruthless life form in existence! They\u2019re sure to overcome our 1-Up mushrooms and betray us!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cStay ahead of the game, Kamek, that\u2019s how we keep them under our-.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cForgive the interruption, Your Cunningness, but there\u2019s more! The Daleks failed to report the abduction of Princess Peach and our spies have evidence that they already kidnapped her, the Mario Bro-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWHAT?!\u201d roared Bowser. \u201cI ORDERED THEM TO REPORT WHEN THEY GOT PEACH! READY THE FLEET! WE\u2019RE VOICING OUR COMPLAINTS TO THE DALEKS PERSONALLY!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Dalek glided up to the Dalek Supreme. \u201cScience Division reports that the Doctor has begun her work in decoding all coded research!\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExcellent!\u201d replied the Dalek Supreme. \u201cEnsure that she works with all due speed!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI obey!\u201d That was when an alarm sounded. The Dalek Security Chief checked its console.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAlert! Alert! Alien prisoners at liberty! Dalek assigned to guard them is leading the way!\u201d it warned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExplain!\u201d barked the Supreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIdentity discovered! It is Phi of the False Daleks! We have been infiltrated!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOrder security squadron to intercept and exterminate Phi before he summons Elder Omega!\u201d ordered the Dalek Supreme. \u201cThe prisoners must be recaptured! Their health is unimportant!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI obey!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alarms rang throughout the ship. \u201cWhat\u2019s cooking?\u201d asked Wario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Your heads and my tentacles!\u201d gulped Phi. \u201cThat\u2019s a general alarm!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThey know we\u2019re out!\u201d realized Luigi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPrisoners and False Dalek sighted!\u201d called a Dalek to its compatriots. \u201cPrisoners are to be kept alive! Damage is authorized! The False Dalek must be exterminated! Crush all resistance!\u201d The Daleks opened fire!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGet back!\u201d yelped Phi. He then fired at the ceiling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWatch where you\u2019re shooting!\u201d protested Amy as she backed away from the rubble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat should make things a little more difficult to navigate for them!\u201d remarked Phi. \u201cCome on! We have to get to the ship\u2019s lab!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLook, I\u2019ve been silent for a while, but-!\u201d argued Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Doctor can confirm that I\u2019m a humanized Dalek! Now come on!\u201d Phi led the way as the Daleks tried blasting their way through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Doctor was busy decoding with two Daleks watching her. \u201c\u2026Aren\u2019t you Science Daleks?\u201d she asked. \u201cDon\u2019t you want to get stuck into the decoding business?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat is for the Dalek Intelligence Division, not us!\u201d replied one of the Daleks. If the Doctor didn\u2019t know better, she could swear that Dalek scoffed at the idea of doing something only a Dalek from the Intelligence Division would do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHave it your own way,\u201d she muttered. She then heard Dalek weapons fire outside the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will investigate!\u201d the other Dalek said to its companion. The door then opened and Phi came in, gunstick blazing and destroying the two Daleks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWATCH YOUR FIRE, YOU TRIGGER-HAPPY-! Oh, never mind!\u201d The Doctor looked back to see the damage. Both Science Daleks were destroyed with only their travel skirts barely intact. \u201cI see you all made a new friend in Phi,\u201d remarked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, do you know this Dalek?\u201d asked Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDalek Phi is one of the early Daleks I humanized,\u201d explained the Doctor. \u201cDuring my second incarnation, I was roped into the Daleks\u2019 scheme to distill something called the Human Factor. The Daleks were going to use that research to identify the Dalek Factor so they could turn humans into Daleks mentally. I turned the tables by initially adding the Human Factor into three Daleks, naming them Alpha, Beta, and Omega. Other Daleks were tricked into having the Human Factor instilled in them and it sparked a civil war in the Dalek Emperor\u2019s Throne Room. The Humanized Daleks fled Skaro and established colonies elsewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI chose to follow Elder Omega,\u201d continued Phi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo Omega\u2019s the leader in this war between you lot and the Skaro Daleks,\u201d mused the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd he\u2019s been captured, Doctor,\u201d explained Phi. \u201cHe\u2019s somewhere in this sector of space.\u201d That\u2019s when the alarm changed pitch and the lights changed colors. \u201c\u2026Oh no!\u201d groaned Phi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s wrong?\u201d asked Peach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the Air Attack Warning!\u201d replied Phi. He then stuck his plunger onto a sphere on a computer console. \u201cIf I can just find out who-!\u201d The computer beeped angrily. \u201c\u2026Infernal cheek! They locked me out!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet me see what I can do,\u201d said the Doctor. She started messing with the computer console.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Aha! Got it!\u201d called Phi. \u201cIt\u2019s\u2026it\u2019s Bowser! Oh no! He ordered us to report if we kidnapped Peach! He\u2019s calling the Dalek Supreme!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have to get him to turn around!\u201d urged Peach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s talking to the Dalek Supreme!\u201d revealed Phi. \u201cHang on! I\u2019m putting the call through my casing\u2019s external speakers!\u201d It took a few seconds, so the call was only patched through when Bowser was busy shouting at the Dalek Supreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c-you to report Peach\u2019s capture to me, did I not?!\u201d roared Bowser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYour desire for someone who rebuffs your advances is irrelevant!\u201d retorted the Dalek Supreme. \u201cYou will obey Dalek commands or you will be exterminated!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah, right!\u201d scoffed Bowser. \u201cYou can\u2019t permanently kill us, remember?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have the means to counter 1-Up mushrooms! Do not force us to demonstrate!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re lying!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPatch me through!\u201d the Doctor hissed at Phi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat?!\u201d yelped Phi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDon\u2019t argue, just do it!\u201d urged the Doctor. Inside his casing, blinked, then shrugged a pair of his tentacles before patching the Doctor through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLord Bowser, the Dalek Supreme ISN\u2019T lying!\u201d warned the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor!\u201d barked the Dalek Supreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBowser, I beg of you!\u201d urged the Doctor. \u201cI translated the notes on how 1-Up mushrooms gives a person extra lives! They most likely have applied that knowledge and made updates to their casings! If you board this ship, it will be a massacre!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, it\u2019s gonna be a massacre, all right!\u201d boasted Bowser. \u201cWe outnumber them three to one!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Doctor was right to warn you!\u201d taunted the Dalek Supreme. \u201cOur firepower is superior! Your inferior weapons will not harm us! I repeat, surrender or be exterminated!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMe and my minions don\u2019t know the meaning of \u2018surrender\u2019!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen the Daleks will educate you on that word\u2019s meaning before you die! Raise communications barrier!\u201d The call ended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHoo boy! We better get to the docking port!\u201d gulped the Doctor. \u201cPhi, can you assist the Koopas?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCan do, Doctor!\u201d replied Phi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re joining in the fight!\u201d declared Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou can\u2019t-!\u201d countered the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, you\u2019re risking your neck to save us!\u201d interrupted Peach. \u201cWe have to help!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf you want to get past Dalek shields,\u201d explained Phi, \u201caim for the eyestalk on the top of the dome. That\u2019s the weakest point.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s true, but watch out for the Blind Dalek Freakout,\u201d warned Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe what?\u201d asked Mario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019ll see,\u201d warned Amy and Phi together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bowser\u2019s minions boarded the ship with reckless abandon. \u201cSCRAP THEM ALL! PEACH IS MINE!\u201d ordered Bowser as he flashed his claws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cALL HAIL BOWSER!\u201d replied his men.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSir! Daleks inbound!\u201d warned a Hammer Bro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEXTERMINATE BOARDING PARTY!\u201d shouted a Dalek. \u201cLEAVE NO SURVIVORS! EXTERMINATE!\u201d The Daleks rounded the corner and fired wildly. Bowser and his men retaliated. Then\u2026it happened. One of the Hammer Bros aimed his hammer at a Dalek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s it! A nice, fat target!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTarget acquired!\u201d announced a Dalek. \u201c1-Up counter initialized! Calibrating weapon! EXTERMINATE!\u201d The Dalek fired on the Hammer Bro. He briefly turned into an x-ray of himself and screamed in agony before the Dalek ceased fire. The Hammer Bro collapsed with a look of pain and fear on his face. A medical Koopa then checked him over and goggled in fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026H\u2026How?! He ate enough 1-Ups to get 99 extra lives!\u201d gulped the Medical Koopa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHe\u2019s dead?!\u201d gasped Bowser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c1-Up Counter and Calibration 99% effective!\u201d reported the Dalek that killed the Hammer Bro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll Daleks, activate 1-Up countermeasures!\u201d ordered the Dalek Battle Commander. \u201cExterminate them! Exterminate them all! EXTERMINATE!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBACK TO THE SHIP!\u201d ordered Bowser as he got between his men and the Daleks. \u201cEVERYONE, BACK TO THE SHIP!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHOLD THAT GANGPLANK!\u201d called the Doctor\u2019s voice. Amy clobbered a few Daleks out of the way as Phi shot them, tearing through their casings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDo not let them escape!\u201d ordered the Dalek Battle Commander At that moment, Peach whacked the Battle Commander\u2019s eyestalk off with her cast-iron pan! \u201cMY VISION IS IMPARED! I CANNOT SEE!\u201d it shrieked as it fired. Unfortunately, Daisy was hit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDAISY!\u201d shouted Luigi as he grabbed her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCOME ON, BRO!\u201d called Mario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
