Wander dodged the Dalek Supreme\u2019s shot and it destroyed the cell door instead. Wander then ran out of the room, still strumming his banjo and singing at a faster pace now with the Dalek Supreme chasing him! \u201cSure seems like we\u2019re becoming friends!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buddies!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEXTERMINATE!\u201d Wander dodged another shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd buddies stay buddies \u2018til the very end!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHALT! HALT!! HALT!!!\u201d Hater, Peepers, and Sylvia then took advantage of the situation and began freeing the prisoners! During the confusion, both parties crashed into each other. Wander then realized Sylvia was free like him!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBUDDY!\u201d he cheered as he hugged her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBUDDY!\u201d replied Sylvia. The two then sang!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, I thought I\u2019d never be free again!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUm\u2026buddies?\u201d asked Hater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBUDDIES!\u201d replied Wander and Sylvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDominator\u2019s gonna know we\u2019re free any second now!\u201d warned Hater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWander keeps saying we\u2019re friends!\u201d barked the Dalek Supreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd he keeps trying to deny it!<\/em>\u201d sang Wander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cListen, buddies or not, I\u2019m not ready to die yet!\u201d replied Peepers. \u201cSo let\u2019s go!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAgreed!\u201d said the Dalek Supreme. \u201cWe must destroy any production plants on this ship related to the infected Daleks!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLet\u2019s see here,\u201d muttered Peepers as he accessed a computer console. \u201c\u2026AHA! Lord Dominator\u2019s running on low power to account for genetic engineering! Any more and the production lines would blow!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026So I just need to give her too much of a good thing, huh?\u201d asked Hater as a wicked grin crossed his face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat about that cure the Doctor\u2019s making?\u201d asked Wander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe will be buying the Doctor time to complete her task!\u201d replied the Dalek Supreme. \u201cAll Daleks to battle conditions!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe obey!\u201d replied the Daleks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Back on Draykor and Demurra\u2019s planet, the Doctor poured a solution into a container the size of her palm. She locked the container and shook it. \u201cThere,\u201d she said. \u201cThat ought to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIs it finished?\u201d asked Lurra Rus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReady and waiting for lunch,\u201d replied the Doctor. She then checked her sonic screwdriver. \u201cGood, it\u2019s still there. Come on, you two. Back to the TARDIS. You\u2019re about to know what it\u2019s like to travel down a time corridor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWait, we\u2019re going BACK to Hater\u2019s ship?!\u201d yelped Amy. \u201cBut Dominator has it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd that\u2019s where our new friend needs to be,\u201d said the Doctor, \u201con Dominator\u2019s ship. Come along, now!\u201d The Doctor led Amy and Lurra Rus back to the TARDIS. Demurra was there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDoctor, you\u2019re not leaving, surely?!\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cRight now, you should be safe,\u201d assured the Doctor. \u201cWe\u2019ll take care of Dominator and her forces as well as the Daleks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut you\u2019re unarmed!\u201d protested Demurra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the Doctor for you,\u201d replied Lurra Rus. \u201cThe only arms she has are the one in her sleeves, where she keeps her surprises.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPrecisely,\u201d agreed the Doctor as she opened the TARDIS. \u201cSo, farewell!\u201d She and her friends then entered the TARDIS. It then took off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Inside the TARDIS, the time machine shook. \u201cWHOA!\u201d yelped Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all right!\u201d assured the Doctor. \u201cThe time corridor net has ensnared us and is bringing us to Hater\u2019s ship. \u2026Huh, it\u2019s collapsing behind us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIsn\u2019t that bad?!\u201d asked Lurra Rus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNo worries, we\u2019ll be there long before the time corridors collapse!\u201d soothed the Doctor. The TARDIS then made its arrival noise, finishing with its usual thud. \u201cNow, to make sure it worked\u2026\u201d she activated the scanner. \u201cAha! The interior of Lord Hater\u2019s ship!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd Dominator\u2019s forces just spotted us!\u201d gulped Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPerfect!\u201d said the Doctor as she headed to the doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDOCTOR, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!\u201d yelped Amy as the Doctor opened the door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cExcuse me!\u201d she called to the bots. \u201cCan you lead me to your master? We\u2019re rather cold here!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

The bots brought the Doctor and her friends to the bridge. Lord Dominator was giving commands to her bots. \u201cStop chasing that stupid spoon and kill him already!\u201d she shouted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLord Dominator, is it?\u201d asked the Doctor. Dominator turned to see her new prisoners. A wicked grin then crossed her face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSo, the infamous Doctor graces my ship with her presence!\u201d she purred. \u201cGotta admit, you Time Lords are a hardy bunch if you\u2019re still alive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThank you,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cI must confess, I\u2019m curious as to why you needed mutated Daleks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, this ship WAS built by them,\u201d answered Dominator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAh, a slave labor force.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBingo. But Daleks by themselves don\u2019t make for good slaves. They\u2019re too intelligent and too sure of their own superiority. So I had to figure out how to dumb down that intelligence. That\u2019s when I stumbled across a Movellan ship from after the war. It carried samples of the Movellan virus and I had a theory that, with a bit of alterations, it could turn the Daleks into mindless slaves. With a bit of lava tech, I attacked not only Dalek tissue, but their casing\u2019s tech as well, making them perfect berserkers! After attacking that reproduction plant and getting it to produce enough slaves to build me a ship, I transferred the production plant over to my ship. And now, here we are! Round 2 and this time, I WILL destroy the galaxy!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou know, if you didn\u2019t smile, I would assume you were a Dalek,\u201d remarked the Doctor as she slowly opened the capsule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Back with Hater and his group, they found the reproduction plant. \u201cOkay, sir!\u201d said Peepers. \u201cIt looks like Lord Dominator transferred all reproduction plant functions from the one she attacked to right here!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou mean she doesn\u2019t have more on other planets?\u201d asked Hater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, her ultimate goal IS the galaxy\u2019s destruction,\u201d reminded Sylvia. She then spotted something. \u201cAll of you, get back! Guards!\u201d she hissed. Bots and Dominator\u2019s infected Daleks entered the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cProduction of berserkers will increase by 15%,\u201d droned a bot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s too much!\u201d hissed Peepers. \u201cWe need to thin them out!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026There is\u2026one advantage to utilize!\u201d replied the Dalek Supreme. \u201cThe camera eye at the top of the dome for the mutant creatures!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe need to give Lord Hater enough time to overcharge the ship,\u201d said Peepers. \u201cSo, Sylvi-I mean, Zbornak, you take those men and Daleks across the left, I\u2019ll take my men and Daleks across the center, and Dalek Supreme-.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI will lead the remainder of our forces across the right!\u201d finished the Dalek Supreme. \u201cLord Hater, you will deal with the ship when the enemy is sufficiently low!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAnd me?\u201d asked Wander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou get to the bridge, see if you can distract Dominator,\u201d said Hater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGotcha! See y\u2019all later!\u201d Wander ran off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow, as you Daleks put it\u2026EXTERMINATE!\u201d called Hater as he pointed forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cATTACK! ATTACK!\u201d shouted the Dalek Supreme. \u201cCRUSH ALL RESISTANCE!\u201d Dominator\u2019s forces were quickly attacked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cHATER?!\u201d yelped Dominator as she got the security alert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, well!\u201d chuckled the Doctor. Dominator\u2019s jaw dropped as her berserkers did!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHow are those nerds doing this?!\u201d she snarled as she typed in commands for her bots. \u201cThe Daleks don\u2019t have any physical weaknesses!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou haven\u2019t done a lot of studying, have you?\u201d asked Amy. \u201cThe eyestalk\u2019s a pretty glaring weakness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026You!\u201d Lord Dominator activated her suit and lowered her helmet\u2019s mask. \u201cYou\u2019re gonna die for this!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t try it!\u201d called the Doctor as she let the capsule drop with a clatter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBerserkers, destroy them!\u201d ordered Dominator. Dominator\u2019s berserkers entered the bridge, weapons ready. They made their usual noises, then\u2026screeched in pain as orange foam spewed from their casings. \u201cWHAT THE-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou\u2019re not the only one that can alter the Movellan virus to her own ends,\u201d said the Doctor. \u201cAnd it won\u2019t affect just your berserkers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Back with Hater\u2019s group, the two factions were evenly matched, then\u2026the berserkers started screeching in pain. The Daleks then twitched, then orange foam spewed from the berserkers\u2019 casings as white foam spewed from the Daleks! \u201cMALFUNCTION! MALFUNCTION!\u201d screamed one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEMERGENCY!\u201d shouted another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMY VISION IS IMPAIRED!\u201d wailed the Dalek Supreme. \u201cI CANNOT SEE!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with them?!\u201d yelped Sylvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWho cares?! Now\u2019s my chance!\u201d replied Hater. He fired a massive stream of lightning into the production lines and the ship rocked as explosions went off on every deck!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cNO! NOT AGAIN!\u201d shouted Dominator as she tried to regain control of the ship. It was no good, the ship was crashing onto a nearby planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll see ourselves out,\u201d called the Doctor. Dominator didn\u2019t hear her as she and her friends left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

The TARDIS crew met up with Hater\u2019s team and Wander at the skullship. \u201cGuys, what\u2019s going on?!\u201d asked Wander. \u201cI couldn\u2019t get to the bridge to-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLater, Wander!\u201d replied Sylvia as she threw the nomad onto her saddle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWatchdogs, lay in an escape route the instant we get out of here!\u201d ordered Hater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWay ahead of you, Sir!\u201d replied a Watchdog as everyone boarded the skullship. The hangar doors exploded and the skullship quickly took off, leaving Dominator\u2019s ship to crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Once they were a safe enough distance away, the Watchdog running the helm got a readout. \u201c\u2026Lord Dominator\u2019s ship has crashed into Aquanitar II, Sir,\u201d he reported. \u201cThe GVA got wind of your second victory over her and are declaring today Lord Hater Day.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs they should!\u201d cackled Hater. \u201cOnce again, I\u2019ve proved that I\u2019m the greatest in the galaxy!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHATE\u2019S GREAT! BEST VILLAIN! HATE\u2019S GREAT! BEST VILLAIN!\u201d cheered the Watchdogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe couldn\u2019t have done that without your help, Doctor!\u201d scoffed Amy as they headed back to the TARDIS with Wander, Sylvia, and Peepers following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGet used to it, Pinky,\u201d retorted Peepers. \u201cLord Hater is destined to rule this galaxy!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026Doc,\u201d said Wander, \u201cI\u2019ve\u2026heard ugly rumors about you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHm?\u201d asked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI heard that, wherever you find yourself, something ain\u2019t right. Like trouble follows you like a bad rash.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not something I make a habit of, I assure you!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI ain\u2019t blaming you for that, Doc,\u201d assured Wander, \u201cbut\u2026it\u2019s just so much! No matter what story I heard about you, death seems to be a big thing and, at least what I saw today, you just seem to be so used to it! People died today and\u2026I know you\u2019re a Time Lord, but I don\u2019t want you to lose sight of life! You made a deadlier version of a virus that already killed Daleks, and you just casually used it! I can\u2019t really believe you look at people dying and just take it as it is!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat\u2019s not fair, Wander!\u201d hissed Lurra Rus. \u201cThe Doctor-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLurra Rus, please,\u201d interrupted the Doctor. \u201cWander needs to hear directly from me. Wander, we may look like we\u2019re used to it, but I can assure you, death still affects me and my companions in just the same way as you. I may have appeared cold and heartless, but if I didn\u2019t, many more would have died. Not just here, not just us, but the entire galaxy would have been consumed in a futile war between Daleks. A wise man once said that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWho?\u201d asked Sylvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMr. Spock, but that\u2019s not the point,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cWhat I\u2019m trying to get across is that despite all of the problems that crop up that need me to solve them, no matter how alien I may seem, I still care. That\u2019s why I do what I do; to help others. That\u2019s not to say there isn\u2019t anywhere peaceful in the universe. It\u2019s always more enjoyable when you have someone by your side, so I\u2019m not some lonely old woman in a police box or you\u2019re not some weirdo in a hat. Now, let\u2019s be on our way to find someplace peaceful. We\u2019ll rest at our respective spots, kick our feet up, relax, and this will all seem like a bad dream. Goodbye, everyone.\u201d The Doctor and her friends entered the TARDIS and it took off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2026How long until the next bad dream for you, Doctor?\u201d sighed Wander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCome on, Buddy, she IS right,\u201d said Sylvia. \u201cLet\u2019s get out of here and find a nice, quiet world.\u201d She then pulled out a bottle of what looked like bubble solution, dipped the wand, waved it over her and Wander, and the two were encased in a bubble. Sylvia then began walking as Wander rode on her back, the bubble protecting them from the dangers of space. Peepers just stared at the spot where everyone was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
