\u201cCome on! Come on!\u201d he strained. Just then, robotic arms shot from the Watchtower and grabbed the Den Liner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHal, just focus on the TARDIS!\u201d called the Flash\u2019s voice through the comms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRight!\u201d replied Green Lantern. He shifted the glove so that only the TARDIS rested in it, then brought it to a halt. \u201c\u2026Phew!\u201d sighed Green Lantern in relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Den Liner and TARDIS were brought into a hangar along the Watchtower\u2019s perimeter. Green Lantern and the Flash looked over the Den Liner. \u201cI\u2019ve never seen that before,\u201d remarked the Flash. Green Lantern looked at his ring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRing, scan and analyze,\u201d he ordered as he created scanning equipment constructs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cScanning vehicle,\u201d replied the ring. By then, the TARDIS doors opened and its crew stepped out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOogh!\u201d groaned the Doctor. \u201cHeadache from hell!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTake it easy, Doctor,\u201d soothed Amy. That was when Momotaros stepped out of the Den Liner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhere\u2019s that Doctor?!\u201d he snapped. \u201cI\u2019m gonna get her for this!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMomotaros, I warned you about that chronal surge!\u201d argued the Doctor. \u201cIf you had just listened to me-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, sure! Listen to a lady that doesn\u2019t know the first thing about time travel!\u201d The Doctor\u2019s jaw dropped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoesn\u2019t know the-?! Sir, all of time and space is my backyard! The laws of time have been baked into my upbringing since day one!\u201d The Doctor and Momotaros argued and Amy and Lurra Rus rubbed their temples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJust like two reckless drivers on a freeway,\u201d muttered Amy. Lurra Rus then spotted Green Lantern and the Flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, hello again!\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHey there, Lurra Rus, Amy,\u201d replied the Flash. \u201cWho\u2019s the lady arguing with the demon?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, that\u2019s the Doctor,\u201d replied Amy. The Flash looked in confusion at the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Could have sworn\u2026\u201d he muttered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHer people have a tendency to cheat death by regenerating their bodies,\u201d explained Lurra Rus. \u201cThat includes their minds, so there\u2019s a new personality.\u201d The Flash crossed his arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSome aliens have all the luck!\u201d he grumbled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnalysis complete,\u201d reported Green Lantern\u2019s ring. \u201cVehicle is the Den Liner, the time traveling vehicle for Kamen Rider Den-O.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd furthermore-!\u201d The Doctor stopped arguing with Momotaros. \u201c\u2026Hang on, did that ring just say \u2018Kamen Rider\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt did,\u201d replied Green Lantern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKamen Rider\u2026\u201d muttered the Flash. \u201c\u2026Hey, aren\u2019t they those karate bug people that ride around on motorcycles in Japan?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cKarate bug-?!\u201d spluttered Momotaros. \u201cIt\u2019s a bit more complicated than that!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, most Kamen Riders aren\u2019t so reckless,\u201d remarked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho are you calling-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor,\u201d came a voice. The argument stopped as a man stepped out of the Den Liner. He was a Japanese man in a brown suit in his late 60\u2019s or early 70\u2019s with his hair slicked back and carrying a cane for show. The Doctor blinked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Owner?!\u201d she gasped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou know the Owner?\u201d asked Momotaros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShe should,\u201d replied the man, the Owner. \u201cWe were rivals at the Academy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOn Gallifrey?\u201d asked Amy. \u201cYou\u2019re a Time Lord like her?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou vanished before the Time War broke out,\u201d the Doctor recalled. \u201cYour TARDIS was destroyed, but you left it behind. What happened?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI had become a singularity point along with the Stationmaster,\u201d replied the Owner. \u201cNow, with the train of time, the Den Liner, I can travel along the Sands of Time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow did you even get into that subdimension?\u201d asked the Doctor. Before the Owner could explain, Green Lantern\u2019s ring flashed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWarning! Red Light energy signature detected!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIs that as ominous as it sounds?\u201d asked Amy. \u201cShould I be summoning my hammer?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot a bad idea,\u201d replied Green Lantern. \u201cThat always means a Red Lantern\u2019s been spotted!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh my,\u201d remarked the Doctor. \u201cOne of Atrocitus\u2019 minions, hopefully.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHang on! I can smell an Imagin!\u201d said Momotaros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cProbably you,\u201d remarked the Doctor. \u201cMaybe you should take a bath?\u201d That was when a red vortex opened and the Lantern Imagin stepped out of it! \u201c\u2026An Imagin?! With a red ring?! Oh no!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI need soldiers!\u201d snarled the Lantern Imagin. \u201cI must fulfill my contract!\u201d The Imagin spotted the Doctor. \u201cYOU! You have tremendous anger!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Doctor?\u201d asked Lurra Rus. \u201cShe\u2019s not one to surrender to anger.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat will change!\u201d The Lantern Imagin vomited his napalm blood all over the Doctor\u2019s face! The Doctor screamed in agony as the blood burned her face, filling her with hatred and anger!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWHAT DID YOU DO?!\u201d demanded Amy as she summoned her hammer. The Lantern Imagin then created a wall construct with his ring. \u201cWait a minute! COPYCAT!\u201d shouted Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is bad!\u201d shuddered Green Lantern. \u201cWhile us Green Lanterns are powered by willpower, Red Lanterns are powered by rage and hatred! They\u2019ve become agents of vengeance instead of justice!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd the Doctor is the angriest, deep down!\u201d said the Lantern Imagin. \u201cAtrocitus wants soldiers, I shall give them to him! You, Doctor! You\u2019ve fought for this universe all over time and space! But your work is constantly stymied! The Daleks, the Cybermen, the Sontarans, they all have done their best to ruin the universe despite your best efforts! How can you ever forgive those evil monsters?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2026I cannot\u2026\u201d strained the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTHEN BURN AS I DO!\u201d The Lantern Imagin opened his hand and a red ring floated towards the Doctor. The Doctor strained as she tried to resettle her head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026I cross\u2026the void\u2026beyond the mind!\u201d she recited. \u201cThe empty space\u2026that circles time! …I see where others\u2026stumble blind\u2026to seek a truth\u2026they never find! \u2026Eternal wisdom\u2026is my guide! \u2026I am\u2026THE DOCTOR!\u201d The ring shattered and the napalm blood evaporated from her face!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWHAT?!\u201d shouted the Lantern Imagin as the Doctor picked herself up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026You\u2019re right,\u201d she said simply. \u201cI DO hate what my enemies do to my work. But my will to see a better universe is stronger than my hate towards my enemies!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll of time and space is burning, Doctor!\u201d warned the Lantern Imagin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen I\u2019ll put out the fires where I can. Right now, you need to go back to whatever time you came from. You Imagins are walking chronal surges.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo! Not until my time is fully restored!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, get over it!\u201d complained Momotaros. \u201cKai was a crap leader and you know it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTHAT\u2019S IT! TAKING MY REVENGE NOW!\u201d The Lantern Imagin created a sword construct and swung it at Momotaros, but the swing was intercepted by Green Lantern\u2019s shield construct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re under arrest for intergalactic terrorism and attempted murder!\u201d said Green Lantern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI obey no law but my own!\u201d snarled the Lantern Imagin. The two Lanterns then dueled with Green Lantern creating vehicle constructs and the Lantern Imagin countering with various sword constructs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is bad!\u201d groaned Momotaros. \u201cWith Ryotaro somewhere else, I can\u2019t easily turn into Den-O!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s that supposed to mean?\u201d asked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Imagin that are associated with Den-O\u2019s forms,\u201d explained the Owner, \u201cmust possess a body in order to give the person wearing the belt the powers they need.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd the usual person isn\u2019t on the train?\u201d quizzed Lurra Rus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m afraid not,\u201d replied the Owner. \u201cUnless someone with a proper fighting spirit can step forth, the Lantern Imagin will overpower Hal Jordan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, even the Flash\u2019s upcoming help won\u2019t be able to avert that future,\u201d remarked the Doctor. The Flash tried to get a hit on the Lantern Imagin, but the Rage-fueled creature kept creating red portals to sidestep the Flash\u2019s attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Momotaros, how picky are you?\u201d asked Amy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026You mean about someone being Den-O?\u201d quizzed Momotaros. \u201cI mean, I have SOME limits, but\u2026wait, are you-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAmy, NO!\u201d protested the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat IS her choice, Doctor,\u201d remarked the Owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, if I become Den-O, will Hal have a better shot at beating the Lantern Imagin?\u201d asked Amy. \u201cA simple yes or no will suffice.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Yes, but-!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen that settles it! Momotaros, where\u2019s that belt? It\u2019s time I try out being a Kamen Rider!\u201d Momotaros shook his head as he chuckled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHere,\u201d he said as he handed Amy a belt and pass. It was a simple belt with a circular scanner and four buttons on the left of the buckle. \u201cFair warning, though, your hair\u2019s gonna get spiky.\u201d Momotaros then turned transparent and entered Amy\u2019s body. Amy spasmed as red energy crackled across her body, then a fanatic grin crossed her face! Her eyes were now red, her quills gained red highlights, and she was dressed in a leather jacket and rose-patterned skirt. As she spoke, Momotaros\u2019 voice came out. \u201cI don\u2019t usually like possessing girls,\u201d he said as he held the pass, \u201cbut beggars can\u2019t be choosers! Besides, this girl\u2019s strong enough!\u201d He pressed the red button and a red light within the belt\u2019s scanner flashed while music played. \u201cHENSHIN!\u201d Momotaros then waved the pass over the buckle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSword Form!\u201d announced the belt. A black bodysuit with a white railway line motif then formed over Amy\u2019s body. Armor pieces then circled around her while a red peach went down the rail line running over her face. The peach stopped at her face as the armor attached itself into a simple red configuration with shoulder pads jutting outwards. The peach then split open to make itself into red lenses with antennae. As an added flair, the suit grew a rose-petal shaped skirt like Amy was wearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
