\u201cYou eat rocks?\u201d asked Yazmyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd the statues Dame Petrify makes are the tastiest!\u201d replied Pebble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026That is gross on so many levels!\u201d shuddered Yazmyn. She fired, but couldn\u2019t land a hit on Pebble because he dodged so much. He then grabbed Opal\u2019s whip as she swung it and spun around so hard, the force of the spin yanked Opal off her feet and threw her into Wilma before she could use her lantern! Opal and Wilma picked themselves up and Opal cracked her whip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo, what else is up with you?\u201d she asked. \u201cI\u2019m sensing a void where a soul should be.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSame here,\u201d confirmed Yazmyn. \u201cWhat could Emperor Entropy possibly give you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAn eternity of statues to eat! Never-ending hunger with a never-ending meal!\u201d replied Pebble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOh, something good\u2019s about to happen for you two!\u201d cheered Wilma. \u201cDo your transformation routine, but replace \u2018lady\u2019 in your transformation announcement with \u2018dame\u2019!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Stronger rank! LET\u2019S GO!\u201d cheered Yazmyn. \u201cYellow Dame Rose of Lightning\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI DESIRE TO BLOOM!\u201d The transformations went the same way as they usually, but the outfits for Yazmyn and Opal were just like the ones Ruby and Pat were wearing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI dunno,\u201d replied Yazmyn. \u201cThe pleated skirt-.\u201d Pebble then swung a fist. \u201cYou know what, later!\u201d yelped Yazmyn. \u201cLet\u2019s do it!\u201d Opal cracked her whip, then spun it over her head like a tornado, generating so much sand that it blinded Pebble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cARGH! CAN\u2019T SEE!\u201d he shouted. \u201cTHIS IS UNAPPETIZING AS WELL!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHere\u2019s something for you!\u201d called Wilma as she fired a stream of light at the sandstorm. The heat quickly turned the sand into a glass prison, holding Pebble in place. While all that was going on, Yazmyn built up the charge in her guns. The electricity in them then started crackling around the exterior of the guns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGET BACK!\u201d shouted Yazmyn. Opal and Wilma took cover and Yazmyn pulled the triggers. Two giant streams of electricity then erupted from the guns and struck Pebble\u2019s prison and Pebble himself. Pebble convulsed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cN-NO! YOU CAN\u2019T-!\u201d he begged. \u201cNOT-! MY HUNGER-! NOOOOO!\u201d Pebble then exploded with the Roses taking cover. They waited a while before poking out from behind their cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026That\u2019s him all gone,\u201d said Yazmyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhy would anyone WANT a vice to control them?\u201d asked Opal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI know,\u201d sighed Wilma. \u201cIt makes no sense.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSomehow, some people think it\u2019s easier to let a vice control them,\u201d said Yazmyn. \u201cI\u2019ve had to deal with people like that when I did my rescues.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cReally?\u201d asked Opal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah. They felt like their lives went off the rails and their vice is the only thing that can give ANY sense of control\u2026even though they\u2019re being taken down a path of despair.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s\u2026it\u2019s tough,\u201d sighed Wilma. \u201cBut we have to keep fighting so people don\u2019t feel so hopeless.
