In the main keep, Tysar and her group looked out a window as the Daleks vanished with their rescued companion and their prisoners. \u201c\u2026How is that possible?\u201d asked Bea. \u201cI didn\u2019t see any transportation runes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cTransmat, most likely,\u201d replied Tysar. \u201cMatter transmission.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou mean their bodies were transmitted like that cute little radio thing does with radio waves?\u201d asked Lukas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026A crude, but accurate analogy,\u201d confirmed Tysar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNow what?\u201d asked Shannon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have to defend this citadel and its people,\u201d replied Tysar. \u201cCan I see a map?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRight here,\u201d replied Bea as she pulled out a map of the citadel. \u201cThe Daleks knew where to place the explosives since the wall they took down was our biggest blind spot. They made it to the eastern courtyard while Egg\u2019s cell was just to their north.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve locked all the doors,\u201d said Shannon, \u201cbut the Daleks must have the same abilities as Egg did where it came to combination calculations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt looks like a few Daleks are staying behind,\u201d observed Lukas. \u201cProbably to prevent us from going after our families.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI won\u2019t negotiate!\u201d hissed Anacassandra. \u201cAnd who needs tea anyways?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHave the Doctor executed, for a start,\u201d replied Davros. \u201cShe\u2019s too dangerous for our plans. \u2026How did she even get to this universe in the first place?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPerhaps find out from her before her death,\u201d suggested Anacassandra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll powerful!\u201d scoffed the Doctor, recalling that exact phrase from Davros and what her response was. \u201cCrush the lesser races! Conquer the galaxy! Unimaginable power! Unlimited rice pudding! Et cetera, et cetera! Davros, we\u2019ve done this song and dance before!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou would be wise not to anger me, Doctor!\u201d warned Davros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
