On a distant planet, a blue dinosaur-like creature was carrying an orange furred creature on its back. They had arrived at what looked like a pool of bubble liquid. \u201cThere it is!\u201d cheered the orange creature. \u201cTime Orbble Lake! The place where Wilmur and Orbble found the secret to making Time Orbbles!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI still remember when we almost filled up on Time Orbble juice,\u201d remarked the dinosaur-like creature as she shuddered. \u201cThat could have been a whole thing!\u201d Just then, the lake started bubbling! \u201cWhat the-?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s never happened before!\u201d yelped the orange creature. An energy wave then washed over them. The two stumbled a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWander, are you okay?!\u201d asked the dinosaur-like creature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m fine, Syl,\u201d replied the orange creature, Wander. He then checked his hat. \u201c\u2026This thing\u2019s okay. You?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoing all right,\u201d said the dinosaur-like creature, Sylvia. \u201cWhat the heck happened?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Back in the TARDIS, the Doctor checked the instruments. She was still tracking chronal surges, then\u2026the TARDIS rocked as if it hit turbulence! The Doctor worked feverishly to stabilize things. Tysar stumbled into the console room. \u201cDoctor, what was that?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA chronal surge!\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cIt passed us while we were in the Vortex!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCan you get anything from it?\u201d asked Tysar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChecking now\u2026huh. Haven\u2019t been to that galaxy in a while.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re going to a galaxy an old friend of mine lives in right now,\u201d said the Doctor. \u201cThat\u2019s where the chronal surge is putting its victim. Setting coordinates now and\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wander and Sylvia were still trying to puzzle out that energy wave. \u2026Well, Sylvia was. Wander was still distracted by the Time Orbble lake. \u201cWander, can you please pay attention?!\u201d complained Sylvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI am!\u201d protested Wander. Sylvia pinched the bridge of her nose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLook, it\u2019s pretty, but that lake\u2019s not as important as-!\u201d She stopped when she heard a noise. \u201c\u2026As that, apparently,\u201d she finished. Wander heard the noise too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat the heck\u2019s going on?\u201d he asked as a wind picked up. Just then, the TARDIS materialized on the planet. Wander\u2019s face lit up. \u201cDOCTOR!\u201d he said. Sylvia goggled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo way is that all a coincidence!\u201d she said. The Doctor and Tysar then stepped out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, what IS this planet?\u201d asked Tysar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s where two people were inspired to make a form of transportation,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cA sort of soap bubble that keeps you alive in space and lets you wander-.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the name!\u201d interjected Wander. The Doctor looked down and grinned when she saw Wander\u2019s face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWander!\u201d she greeted. \u201cIt\u2019s been a while, hasn\u2019t it?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou changed your face again, huh Doctor?\u201d asked Wander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor?\u201d asked Sylvia. \u201cWander, I think that energy wave messed with your head. That\u2019s not the Doctor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo you\u2019re saying I never helped you two against Lord Dominator and the Daleks?\u201d asked the Doctor. \u201cI had to modify the Movellan Virus to take them both down.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cGood grief, it IS you!\u201d yelped Sylvia. \u201cBut how?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHer ability to change her face is known among my people,\u201d said Tysar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWander, Sylvia, meet Tysar, my current companion,\u201d introduced the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNice to meet you!\u201d greeted Wander as he shook Tysar\u2019s hand. \u201cFolks call me Wander and that there is Sylvia!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHow\u2019s it going?\u201d asked Sylvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRandom question,\u201d said the Doctor, \u201cbut have you lot felt any strange energy waves?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYeah, why?\u201d asked Sylvia. \u201cYou tracking it?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAll right, slightly related question,\u201d continued the Doctor, \u201care you familiar with the Grouping?\u201d Wander goggled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Doc, I was a victim of that thing!\u201d he said. \u201cIt took the Monan Host to get me back to my proper time!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, it\u2019s happening again, Wander,\u201d sighed the Doctor. \u201cThat energy wave was a chronal surge.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cUm, could someone fill me in?\u201d asked Sylvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cChronal surges take someone out of one point in space time and put them somewhere and somewhen else,\u201d explained Tysar. \u201cI went through that myself. Ended up seeing the homeworld of one of the heroes of my people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere are multiple chronal surges happening throughout space and time,\u201d continued the Doctor. \u201cThe blending of those points is called the Grouping.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWell, Syl and I are still here,\u201d said Wander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMeaning we\u2019ll need to check for-.\u201d The Doctor was interrupted by a groan somewhere nearby. \u201c\u2026That sounds familiar,\u201d she said. \u201cFan out. We need to find this person and-.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor, over here!\u201d called Tysar near the edge of the lake. \u201cIt\u2019s some kid with flight goggles!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFlight goggles?\u201d The Doctor, Wander, and Sylvia rushed up to Tysar to see the kid she was talking about. The kid was face down and groaning in dull pain. The Doctor turned him over to see his features and gasped. \u201cRAZ!\u201d she yelped. The kid, Raz, scrunched his face and slowly opened his eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNo, Mom,\u201d he groaned deliriously, \u201cpsychic bears are a bad idea.\u201d He then saw everyone standing over him. \u201cHOLY-!\u201d He fired a blast of mental concussive energy and knocked the Doctor off her feet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSTEADY ON!\u201d protested the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!\u201d demanded Raz. \u201cWHERE AM I?!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYou\u2019re in another time entirely, Razputin Aquato,\u201d explained the Doctor. \u201cAs for who we are, well, you met ME before, but not in this body.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Lady, I don\u2019t know who you are,\u201d said Raz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThen give me a mental checkup,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cYou still have that Psycho-portal, yes?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026Okay, you obviously know about the Psychonauts,\u201d said Raz. He then pulled out a little door. \u201cSo you consent to a mental checkup?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI do indeed,\u201d confirmed the Doctor. Raz then put the door on the Doctor\u2019s forehead. The Doctor shut her eyes. \u201cEveryone, Raz is just entering my mind. There\u2019s categorically no cause for alarm.\u201d Raz then lowered his goggles over his eyes and projected his mind into the Doctor\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raz found himself in a room with a hexagonal console in the center. \u201c\u2026That\u2019s the mindscape of the Doctor!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, it is, isn\u2019t it?\u201d asked a voice. Raz turned to see a woman with long brown hair, a blue coat, a green pleated skirt, and a floppy hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDoctor?!\u201d he yelped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cYes, this is what I looked like when we first met, right Raz?\u201d asked the woman, the Doctor\u2019s previous incarnation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWait, so that lady that looks like a supermodel is you?! You changed your face again?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAn unfortunate hazard,\u201d remarked the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo I\u2019m gonna go through the door\u2026and see her?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the idea.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNO!\u201d came a voice. A few short men in business suits with giant no symbol stamps arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOh, lovely,\u201d sighed the Doctor. \u201cMy Censors.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019ll take care of them!\u201d said Raz. He psi-blasted them as the Doctor practiced Venusian Aikido on them. She then opened the door for Raz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThrough here,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThanks!\u201d Raz entered the door and found himself in the current console room where the current Doctor was working on one of the console\u2019s panels. \u201c\u2026Well, that just proves it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cHm?\u201d The Doctor looked up from her work. \u201cAh, there you are! Didn\u2019t meet all my previous incarnations?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI think I saw enough of them when I first met you,\u201d remarked Raz. \u201cWell, that\u2019s all the proof I need.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cExit\u2019s right behind you,\u201d said the Doctor. Raz entered another door, then found himself lifting away from the console room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Raz and the Doctor woke up as the psycho-portal fell off the Doctor\u2019s head. \u201cI\u2019m convinced,\u201d said Raz. \u201cWhat made you change your body anyways, Doctor?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOccupational hazard,\u201d replied the Doctor. \u201cNow, I think I\u2019d better fill you in on the current problem, hm?\u201d The Doctor introduced Wander, Sylvia, and Tysar, then explained what happened to Raz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat explains why everything around me changed,\u201d said Raz, taking it all in stride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll get you back to your own time,\u201d promised the Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re at Time Orbble Lake,\u201d said Wander, \u201cmaybe that can help him!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c\u2026No wonder that lake looks familiar!\u201d chuckled the Doctor. \u201cWhat a stroke of luck! Wander, do you have a clean Orbble Wand?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI should have one somewhere,\u201d remarked Wander as he took his hat off and rummaged around in it. He then pulled out a warning beacon that was screaming!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cOkay, that\u2019s a little worrying!\u201d gulped Tysar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s that?\u201d asked Raz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy Hatey Clock!\u201d replied Wander. \u201cIt only goes off when Lord Hater\u2019s coming!\u201d A big smile crossed Wander\u2019s face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLord Hater\u2019s coming?\u201d asked the Doctor. She then face-palmed. \u201cOf course the situation gets that complicated.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIs that as worrying as it sounds?\u201d asked Tysar. Just then, a ship that looked like a skull with hot rod attachments arrived. It opened its mouth, unfurled its tongue like a carpet, and an army of small, diminutive creatures with giant eyes for heads wearing black suits marched out, chanting \u201cHATE\u2019S GREAT! BEST VILLAIN! HATE\u2019S GREAT! BEST VILLAIN!\u201d Their commander then arrived. He wore a helmet with a giant lightning bolt sticking out of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
